RAT – 1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008

Your sign is also sometimes known as the Mouse, which sums up the identity issues you have this year – revolving around questions like ‘Who am I’ and ‘How do people see me?’ The time has come to look at your photographs, your website, your television or film presence (if applicable) and see  yourself from the outside looking in. Perhaps you are not sure who you truly are, but any mixed messages you send must now be addressed. It turns out that image or branding really matters.

OX – 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009

You are in a wonderful position to leave behind what you know – and who or what has become utterly stuck or over-familiar in your life – to experiment. Of course this will confront people who prefer to have a predictable or quiet existence, but as you are in the most potentially educational and exciting phase for years, you should really enjoy your break from normality to strike out for untried and unfamiliar territory. Travelling or travelling (far) in the mind suit you very well this year.

TIGER –  1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010

There is no ultimate perfection in this world and this year will reveal something you may have missed before; by expecting the impossible you often end up feeling short-changed by what (or whom) you actually get. This pattern of aiming for something that may not even exist will be challenged by the events of 2015 as you realise just how much happier you could be by accepting a trade-off with the universe where the not-quite-perfect can bring you contentment, nevertheless.

RABBIT – 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951,1963, 1975, 1987, 1999

You seem far too settled in your rabbit hutch at the moment, as you have carved out a niche for yourself at home or work which means you could easily end up in a rut in 2015. Understanding how important it is to experiment and expand your horizons is a key message this year. The alternative is to become complacent and just settle back into something which you know very well, but which undoubtedly fences you in. Of course you have a choice but why not consider leaving the rut?

DRAGON – 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952,1964, 1976, 1988, 2000

There is a game of musical chairs affecting your group or tribe this year which means understanding others’ motives extremely well. You need to be sharply aware of what others want and need, and why they are orchestrating the change or reshuffle in a particular way. Of course you must also figure out where you stand in the new set-up, and once the music has stopped and a ‘chair’ has become available you do need to factor in where you would like to be, and why, and for how long.

SNAKE – 1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001

There is a false perception that any issue which has been around for years – unsolved – is somehow going to require a tremendous amount of long-haul effort to resolve. Nothing could be further from the truth this year, as you actually need to be a woman or man of action, to fix what is there. You will find yourself waking up in utterly different circumstances which mean a remedy, cure or solution in your life is possible – yet it all hinges on your ability to think and act on your feet.

HORSE – 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954,1966, 1978, 1990, 2002

Fencing yourself in (just like a real horse) and setting yourself limits is a very good idea in 2015 as you will be put in a situation where you must push back against others who want something quite opposite to your own intentions, dreams and goals. Of course you don’t have to push at all  – sometimes the best way forward is to act very cautiously and strategically and that’s where this idea of fencing yourself in comes from. Know your limits and work within them. Think this through.

SHEEP (GOAT) – 1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003

This is your year and you will find tremendous satisfaction and fulfilment on more than one occasion as what you want comes to pass. The trick is understanding the temporary nature of the rewards; this is rather like being offered some beautiful buried treasure in your life, only to understand that it must be given back later – or perhaps it is the kind of treasure that is here one day, and gone the next! Just living for the moment is a very good idea with this kind of year ahead.

MONKEY – 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004

This is a major year of change if you want to set it in motion, as your Chinese horoscope suggests your particular corner of the jungle has become too stuck, too stale and too stifling. This situation with your home or workplace must be cleaned up and actually making physical changes to your environment will help alter your headspace as well. There may be some cobwebs or dusty corners in terms of your past and as you never look at them, let alone clean them up, it may be time.

ROOSTER –  1909, 1921, 1933, 1945, 1957,1969, 1981, 1993, 2005

You will not find it easy to fall into line with others, collaborate or co-operate with them this year as you will be at a crossroads when your own preferences are completely different to those around you. This will happen more than once as you realise you must march to the beat of a different drummer. Of course everyone would love an easy life, and to be in total agreement with others does make the world far more simple – yet, why not consider doing your own thing, in your own way?

DOG –  1910, 1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006

Life is a trade-off this year and you will become very aware of the deals and transactions you make with others. Some of these will of course be literal; financial, business or property-based. In the grand scheme of things, though, the really important trades are emotional and spiritual. Because it is only human nature to want a bargain, or to want to offer the minimum for the maximum, you may be tempted to do this. Have a closer look though and you’ll see the advantage of a generous trade.

PIG – 1911, 1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007

You have to take your time with a necessary process of rejuvenation and repair – even total restoration- which must take place this year. It may be physical or spiritual, but you quite clearly need putting back together, a little like Humpty Dumpty after he has come off his wall. There is an aspect of yourself or your life which will take months to fully resolve itself, but it will happen, so you should be optimistic. Everything has to evolve at its own pace though so do not rush this
