The Big Push – Communication and Information


There is an urgency and heat around your projects and plans this month, either on the internet or in the real world. From Wednesday 1st May the stage is set for the kind of e-mail or phone call that could reshape your immediate future. Reduce the pace if you can. There may be a temporary sense of urgency about what is going on, but it is unlikely to be helpful, as you must ensure the message and the medium are absolutely right, for what you want to say or write.

What happens near Tuesday 7th May brings a firm sense of ‘Here we go again.’ Also known as ‘Round and round the mulberry bush.’ These are utterly familiar issues you are facing about the internet, publishing, media, your voice and all forms of communication, either digital or traditional. That entire week (from Monday 6th May through Sunday 12th May) is loaded with the kind of decisions about communication and information that peak around Friday 10th May – and I believe you will still be inking in the details until as late as Wednesday 15th May.
If you dislike the repetition in your situation or the over-familiarity, alter your take. Change the way you approach it and see it, every time it happens. It’s the best way!

The Uranus-Pluto square in your zone of friends and money, on Tuesday 21st May, may link one story together with both issues – or you could be dealing with separate episodes. One will be about what you own, earn or owe. The other will be about a group commitment or a friend. There are questions to answer about the balance of power within the group, or with the friend – and to be very clear-cut about what/who has been taking, or taking over.

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS THE WORD
Everyone wants to read your stuff or listen to you – either in person or online. And of course, there may be more than one project or plan, no matter if you live on the internet or prefer to project your voice in the flesh. You should be feeling pretty happy about what transpired in late May. Just keep pushing this. The New Moon in Gemini on Saturday 8^th June is the channel you have been looking for. On that day, or very close to it, you can launch a new version of your old idea, or an entirely fresh plan.  When the Sun joins Jupiter on Wednesday 19^th June you could hit a peak – depending on the amount of time and energy you put into your ‘voice’ over the last 12 months. You have until Tuesday 25^th June to follow up the new connections and contacts which have arrived since April, but also to really milk the plans which have been around you for the longest time! Aries is an impatient sign so you should be delighted with the rapid results you achieve in June. From start to finish, I would not be surprised if you get what you want within three weeks – or a superior alternative. You will not have a chance like this again for 12 years, so no matter if you want to blog, podcast, lecture, write, animate, make films, explore multimedia, learn a language – do not hesitate. There are no accidents in astrology and the people who are around you now have been sent to support you and encourage you in your quest to be heard or read in the biggest and best way for years.

YOUR STUNNING NEW PROPERTY CYCLE
This is going to be good. You will successfully renovate or revamp the apartment or house within months and achieve so much more light, space and comfort than you had before. If you really want to move, though, the path is being cleared and between August and Christmas you could be in a much better area and/or in a superior living space. If your priority is money (and it may be, because you are in the toughest financial cycle in 29 years) then it may well be a particular house or apartment that offers you a solution. It won’t be perfect, but it could help considerably. For example – you may be offered a house-sitting opportunity (saving on rent) or a glittering home exchange which makes you feel richer and more abundant on your holiday. You could also find the gap between the sale price of your last home and your new one helps you deal with some of the unavoidable realities at the bank. There are many options but all of them will assist you.

On the people side of things, the Fourth House, where Jupiter is about to take up residence, also rules your live-in partner, your family and close relatives, and your clan (flatmates or even companion animals). Jupiter will fix issues, offer win-win solutions and bring all kinds of advantages and benefits through one of these people. The conjunction from Venus to Ceres in Leo on Sunday 30^th June lets you know that a fair balancing act for all those involved is necessary. Nobody likes giving up, giving in or letting go but it will be required as July comes closer, no matter if this is the property or the people. The atmosphere lifts and life turns you in a completely new direction from the third week of June, then after a period of backwards-and-forwards developments, from the first week of August you are completely on track.

After a slow or circuitous beginning, by August you will be on your way. The Jupiter-Pluto opposition to come is a watershed when you will need to look seriously at how money, property, business, charity or possessions can empower you, and how to balance that so the price is not too high.

CUPID IN SAGITTARIUS
Cupido, or Cupid, is the asteroid which describes longing, desire and deep, irrational passion. This asteroid (in mythology he was the son of Venus) is now in your zone of marriage, engagement, sex and love. This is also where we find partners you loved and lost, or ex-soulmates. Finally, Cupid is stirring up potential new relationships. Do not be surprised if common-sense has to take a back seat. Cupid is especially potent now because you recently had an eclipse in this same zone of your horoscope.

If you have been more emotionally engaged with a professional or personal rival, or locked in war with someone you are firmly against, then it may be this man or woman who is at the core of Cupid’s highly emotional, deeply felt cycle. Again, common-sense takes a back seat.

Cupid is just passing through. His arrows also leave temporary wounds. This madness for you, he or she may not last beyond a few months. Just in case your personal horoscope says otherwise, though, remember that Cupid is the son of Venus, and the goddess herself is most interested in long and complicated partnerships.

YOUR TWIN IDENTITIES AT WORK
Your daily workload is hard. The people, place or situation is under Saturn’s influence which is why 2013 has delivered you with a heavy reality check that probably knocked you sideways. This is the transit known as ‘Sorry, but this is the way the real world is.’ Consequently you have been leaping towards a professional, voluntary or academic niche which I can only describe as The Great Escape.

This is perfectly fine. Don’t knock escapism. This is like your own theme park or day at the beach. This strange other world, within your overall sphere of ambition and achievement, is also going to provide you with the relief and release you need in June. Just remember it’s not remotely real. And perhaps you need to touch base with your twin identities (Castor and Pollux are the heavenly twins in the Gemini constellation) in order to cope. One of you should be stoic, sensible, serious and strategic. The other should be like John Lennon in the Sixties when he was driving a psychedelic Rolls Royce and wearing satin. If you can juggle both these sides of yourself then you should find it balances out beautifully.

Basically, if your Sun Sign or Rising Sign is Gemini then you are on track for the most profound changes with money, property, charity or business in years. THE FULL MOON AND YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
The Full Moon on Sunday 23^rd June lays everything on the line with your former, current or potential partner. If you have a professional rival or personal enemy (and you put more energy into this person, than you do into love) then this person (who always holds up a mirror to you) will be at the centre of the crossroads. The reason this Full Moon is so important is its placement; the Moon (your ruler) will occupy the same zone of your astrological chart as Pluto, so the moment of truth some weeks before (near Friday 7^th June) leads you to its logical conclusion a fortnight later. The same applies to the Venus-Pluto opposition on Tuesday 11^th June; that is not the time to try and ‘fix’ things.

This ongoing cycle reminds you (periodically) that a former, current or potential partner will always raise issues about how empowered you are and how much control you have. The Neptune-Saturn trine on Wednesday 12^th June helps firm up this outlet. How can a relationship with a former, current or potential partner be so other-worldly, when the person in question is flesh and blood? The answer lies in this Neptune cycle which allows you to float and drift on the tides of your own longing for escape. Reality has absolutely nothing to do with this relationship. It’s like an anaesthetic from being alive and that’s why June is so intriguing; as long as you pledge to return to planet earth after these periodic escapes, you can appreciate them for all they are. Outlets! The Uranus-Pluto square is in signs which hit hard edges in your horoscope, in Aries and Capricorn, on Tuesday 21st May. Nothing new here.
