Aries

March 21 – April 19

The whole point of September is to help you realise just how far things have drifted for you with religion, spirituality, astrology, witchcraft (if you are dopey enough to use it), psychologists, psychiatrists and all the ‘inner work’ people and books. How did it all become so confusing and confused? No matter. Organise this!

Taurus

April 20 – May 20

The total lack of boundaries with your friend, on social media, or within the wider group – has resulted in you, he, she or they crossing the line all over the place. Today’s opposition between Mercury and Neptune is designed to help you remember what’s gone down before – and avoid it. Put the lines back in, firmly.

Gemini

May 21 – June 20

Your career, unpaid work or university/college degree is not exactly clear. In fact, you have drifted rather a long way on the currents, and must now find an anchor, or at least a firm way to get your feet back on the ground. Try not to go any further out, or deeper into a situation which is so utterly distorted. Be aware.

Cancer

June 21 – July 22

You have been living with Neptune in your zone of publishing, the worldwide web, foreigners, travel, education, academia and regional differences for years. So many years, in fact, that you have lost sight of what is real. That’s perfectly fine, but don’t get caught out by that. Try to keep the non-real, unreal, as real as possible.

Leo

July 23 – August 22

The opposition between Mercury and Neptune today is a traditional red flag for your finances, business interests, house, apartment, shares, charity and so on. It happens every year, so you’re not exactly new to the confused and confusing discussions, paperwork or news that can result. Play for time. Don’t sign.

Virgo

August 23 – September 22

If life with your former, current or potential partner seems to have taken on the proportions of a film or television episode, you are not mistaken. This is the same case with anyone against you. In the face of this kind of altered reality, what do you do? Well, you don’t get fooled again, to quote The Who. And their singer is a Virgo.

Libra

September 23 – October 22

Living with Neptune in Pisces every day, is really about living with altered states every day. Be aware of your prescribed drug, illegal drug or alcohol use. It doesn’t hurt on a Neptune-Mercury transit. Beyond all that, there is something so utterly bent out of shape about your lifestyle and workload that it can be useful to see it.

Scorpio

October 23 – November 21

Look twice, three times, four times at the state of play with your son, daughter, grandchildren, godchildren or young relatives. With a parenthood-potential relationship, or your professional involvement with a younger generation. Ask yourself what you are not seeing clearly. It should become apparent, once you look.

Sagittarius

November 22 – December 21

Nothing is particularly real-world about your family situation, the house, apartment, local area, your homeland, household and so on. It is a distortion of what most people would call ‘real’ and even then, it exists in its own space! That’s fine, as far as it goes, but every so often Mercury clashes with Neptune and it needs a look.

Capricorn

December 22 – January 19

Check your travel plans today and tomorrow, as Neptune-Mercury oppositions are notorious for weather or other disruption. Common-sense astrology aside, what we have here is an ongoing issue about the lack of boundaries for you online, or with your telephone. If it’s all a bit vague, be cynical enough to suspect internet corporations of making it that way. Where are the lines?

Aquarius

January 20 – February 18

Neptune transits result in financial uncertainty, and an inability to tightly control too much of what is going on. The lines keep changing, and the goalposts keep moving. This can be fine, if you want a holiday from reality, and accountants are rather good at providing one. Yet, today’s Mercury-Neptune clash is really not the moment to sign or accept a signature. Can it wait until the 11th?

Pisces

February 19 – March 20

The ongoing questions you have about/with your partner are really about your image. This also applies to former or potential partners – it’s about who you appear to be, on the internet. Even battles and duels can throw the spotlight back on your worldwide web profile. This is all really useful. It makes you aware of what you must do to keep things real. Years of experience will help.
