Bacchus in Sagittarius today reminds you that your plans to travel, relocate, commit to foreign or regional faces, study, teach, publish or run a website are timely. You are riding a wave that began this year and will surf throughout 2020 and 2021 on a karmic current.
April 20 – May 20
Oh, you thought all opportunities and solutions for your finances were over? Well, perhaps they are, in terms of epic answers or sweeping outcomes, but there is still a lot to be enjoyed with Bacchus in Sagittarius. Have a good time, all the time, and all that.
May 21 – June 20
The situation with your former, current or potential partner – perhaps your enemies – suggests a very high feel good factor. You are coming down after a New Moon that helped so much with a fresh start. You also have December with all its celebrations ahead.
June 21 – July 22
Bacchus is a 2000-year-old symbol of wild pleasures and cheerful hedonism, no matter what, and as he now appears at work, at university or college, or in connection with your unpaid work – you are on track. Bacchus makes the sweetest of trines. Drink up.
July 23 – August 22
The world of sexual relationships, babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers or Millennials now invites no small celebration. December is a month for parties, of course. Beyond the invitations, a party atmosphere prevails anyway, as you round off the year.
August 23 – September 22
Bacchus is Jupiter’s son in astrology, very big on life’s more self-indulgent pleasures, and basically the Ian Dury of asteroids. Sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll. Quite what he has to do with your family, household, town or country is anybody’s guess. But he’s here.
September 23 – October 22
There is a corner of the worldwide web, or your desk, or the space behind your telephone or microphone, that is set aside for champagne on ice. You may or may not like Pol Roger or Bollinger, but the fact is, this is a big, bubbling atmosphere of pure pleasure.
October 23 – November 21
Bacchus is an ancient symbol of grapes (and thus wine, and drunken self-indulgence) but also of feasts and Bacchanalia – abandoned group celebration. What is happening now, with money saved, or money made, or other benefits – is down to him.
November 22 – December 21
Bacchus in Sagittarius follows a New Moon there – and Jupiter, your ruler. That’s quite a passing parade in your own zodiac sign. This suggests that matters of image, appearance, reputation, name or branding are worth celebrating. With or without leopard skin.
December 22 – January 19
The year ends with a double pike on the diving board of astrology. Jupiter and a New Moon leave a lovely new space for you, on the inside. Matters of the soul, spirit or psyche are to the fore. Bacchus picks up where Jupiter and the Moon left off. Reason to celebrate.
January 20 – February 18
December is party season, and don’t you know it. You can have a private party with just one friend or abandon yourself to the decidedly hedonistic atmosphere this Christmas. Teams, clubs, trade unions, political parties, bands, societies – say yes to it all.
February 19 – March 20
You have ended a very complicated year for your career with a double twist, as the New Moon has thrown you a new beginning, Jupiter lobbed you one final opportunity or solution, and now here is Bacchus to help you celebrate. It applies to university too.
