The August 27-28 Eclipse and Your Astrology Chart
The August 27th Full Moon falls at 9.19pm in Los Angeles (adjust for your time zone). Calling this August 27th and 28th worldwide, it’s the usual cover-up and blind spot.

The August lunar eclipse is exact in Miami at 9.23pm on the 27th, ending at 3.01am on the 28th.
So, Thursday August 27th and Friday August 28th, end the week (and your month) with a big information gap.

August 27th, 28th 2026 is a religious cover-up which we will only discover months or even years later.
This may concern Pope Leo, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Vatican, Islam, Judaism and specifically, Gaza and Israel. Perhaps, His Holiness the Dalai Lama too or the Hindu faith.
The golden rule with an eclipse is don’t assume or guess.
Do You Have Pisces Factors at 3, 4, 5?
This is personal. Avoid religion, hypnosis, meditation, therapy, counselling, mediumship, paganism, solitude, astral travelling, chakra work, aura work, Tarot, Oracles and so on. If it’s about your inner self, it will be covered up and completely obscured from view to you. The Full Moon is at 4 Pisces. This is a peculiar Full Moon Eclipse. It falls at 4 Pisces and the asteroid Diana is also at 4 Pisces. It’s a Diana cover-up.
In Pisces, the sign of religion, this seems likely to involve the Church of England, or perhaps the Roman Catholic church. She had ties to both.
Of course, she may be taking an interest in earthly matters (or earthly matters are taking an interest in her) following Harry’s announcement of a return home.

As an Aries sun I have to admit that this summer has been extremely transformative. I dipped my toes into Tarot, had my reading in July and August (beginning). Thank you for reminding me to avoid the time around the Eclipse not to go into that area. I’m starting a new job in that eclipse week as a teacher going back to work for prep-week. Although, I did quit my job this January (special ed field) with the intention of not going back to teaching, here I am going back to the school system (albeit different school and teaching different subject). Anyway, love your horoscopes here as they’re always so on point. Very much relatable to my life situation at the moment.

Hello dear Jessica, always grafetul for your blog I asked the question and drew the two of swards. Meanwhile I am (After my boss left the company) in the beginning negotiations with my employer about continuing my work in another job or leaving the company completely (Which seems to be the best as my protector will leave in Jan 27). I worked two years quite happily for them and know now how if feels again. Some healing took place, definitely. It seems better to leave but there will be hard negotiotions ahead, as it again seems I have to wait and bridge the time to summer 27. The Two of Swords shows you blindfolded so this eclipse is best avoided for decisions. The truth you are pretending not to see is your own money, or a wealthier woman’s. So, for example, a female employer or bank manager. Of course it may be you who has the money but you are avoiding that issue for some reason. Bypass the eclipse, but the card is literally showing a scarf over your eyes.

Thank you. So, a money man is involved in the cover-up and blind spot for you. This may involve your husband; it may not. He wants a job and you want to launch a book. So is the Knight of Pentacles part of that? Your Cancer solar chart says it’s the book, actually. The eclipse falls in your Ninth House of online and traditional publishing. It’s in Pisces and your Cancer chart’s Ninth is about the book world, ruled by Pisces for you. As you can see this man is literally a closed book. The Pisces Full Moon (going to your birth chart) also opposes your Virgo stellium in the Sixth House of paid and unpaid work. So it’s the same story told twice from two different angles. Just steer clear for a couple of days.

Thank you. Starting with your Capricorn chart, you have many years of dating and also sexual experiments ahead of you. Chiron moved into Taurus and your solar Fifth House of courtship and the bedroom, on June 19th this year. He is here until September 17th, then disappears, then returns on April 14th 2027 remaining until July 19th 2033. There is one last phase of intimate experimentation (to see what you can get away with) from October 23rd 2033 until May 5th, 2034. Chiron is a centaur and is frequently seen, in art and sculpture, ceramics and illustration, educating characters including Achilles. He’s a teacher and his subjects include music, herbal medicine and archery. You may in fact be involved by a man who is a living education in this; just through example or his interests, he may school you on some level. Now the money man could be for my spouse as a very wealthy tech person he used to work for contacted him again to come back but this time my husband is asking for what he is worth as he virtually built the man’s business from the ground up and trained him and all the others in those particular field. Husband left because he got a better offer and they just wouldn’t listen to some things and it became frustrating. They were upset to see him go. After writing back to him over a week ago we have still not heard back. On the other hand, if the cover-up is actually about my book rather than his job situation, is there a different approach I should take? I still haven’t identified who this “money man” could be.

I’m sorry you’ve been through this. It’s not the end of the world, so please don’t dwell on it. You have the biggest and best work cycle in 12 years starting in mid 2027 and by mid 2028 may have been promoted or landed a far better position if you accept the opportunity. Financially you do need to plan ahead for 2028, 2029 please. Saturn is in Taurus then and the world economy will slow down and be subject to heavy restrictions. Quite right about bird flu. That is a Virgo Sun matter and the eclipse pulls that in. Thank you for reminding me. You have brick walls in your life in the meantime, so what’s going on? It’s usually squares and oppositions. You’re a Sun Virgo woman with Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo stelliums. All mutable signs, all opposite and square each other natally. So any time you get transits of the slow-moving planets or nodes in mutable signs, the whole thing is set off. We currently have Uranus in Gemini and at 2, 3, 5 degrees, it does in fact trigger the pattern. It’s sitting on 5 now in August and retrogrades back past 3, 2 as the year goes on. So it’s clearly that transit. A fast wqy to reduce the obstacles is to do less of the houses ruled by those signs. So you would wind down Gemini matters (siblings, cousins, neighbours, internet, media, short trips, commuting) and wind down Sagittarius matters (foreigners, foreign countries, academia, publishing, the worldwide web). The Nine of Wands is the hurt outsider and the group. It’s always an Eleventh House matter. You are a Pisces with Eleventh House factors at Aquarius 8 and 18. The eclipse is at 4 Pisces so that’s not it. I’m curious as to why you pulled this card, though. In November, Saturn is at 8 Aries, picking up this circle of people. So you may have not been focussed on just the eclipse on August 27, 28 but picked up November instead. A rather slow and serious situation for the circle and the person on the outer, will land then. Congratulations on your film. The Eight of Wands is the group which can fall in a heap (if you do nothing) or the group which can at least be put back together faster (If you do your best to try and pull everybody together). Groups are an Eleventh House matter and you are a Taurus woman with a huge Eleventh House stellium in Aquarius. The eclipse Full Moon in Pisces also falls in your Eleventh House. So avoid acting or judging about the group, or the friend, on those couple of days. You can’t see and don’t know what’s going on. Can what is obscured be good news?
I am often quick to be panicking. Currently worried about my nanny, I have no proof yet but a bad feeling about her
What is obscured on a Full Moon is always conflicted or pulls you in two. The Sun is opposite the Moon. So, not good news. And very much concealed or seen, but not actually ‘seen’ – thus the blind spot. Your nanny would be a Fifth House issue. You have Vesta in the Fifth House natally so attract situations with one male and two or more females, where you compete with another woman. You see it with baby boys, nannies and mothers. You also see it with nannies, husbands and wives. So if that is your issue here, you are dealing with Vesta. The solution is to side with the nanny in sisterly solidarity against the male. Keep your sense of humour about it too. It is the fastest and most effective way to deal with this in a chart. And eclipses aren’t about panic. Just avoidance. Skip the new paths or forks in the road – it’s only a couple of days.

The Full Moon is opposite the Sun in the short journeys sector of your chart. The eclipse is about a trip for professional or personal reasons. You may want to avoid judging or acting on that. Fortuna and the Ninth House is about foreigners and foreign countries. So that’s pretty clear. This may be tied to the family, or a family with wealth passed down.

The Page of Cups is a younger person who does not live in the real world. Often, a son or godson. It can also be a teenage or Millennial person tied to a friend of yours, or a group you are involved with. So, your friend’s adolescent boy who does not have a job, is effeminate (the pink and blue flag represented in the clothing), has chosen to live apart from the rest of us and is wasting what he has. That would be the cover-up or blind spot.

Thank you for the article! I drew ‘The Moon’ in the tarot. My original question for the tarot was – what does this eclipse mean for me and how to be prepared for it? Not sure, if the animals ( dogs / wolf) represent me and my spouse. We have been having unusually emotional & major arguments recently over the altar setup in our home. We finally decided to do it seperately for both of us. Is the tarot alluding to this argument? Also, not sure what the scorpion indicates in that tarot? Will appreciate any insights you can share.
The two dogs are indeed you and your husband. The Tarot has even shown you the eclipsed Moon. Let this day or two in your life go past without taking one road or another. The scorpion is finance and real estate which won’t wait. You can always come back to decisions a bit later when there is actually something to see – and to know, properly.

On the 12th August eclipse I had a follow up health visit, and tests revealed a previously treated, and I believed was resolved, had in fact returned. I was scheduled for a PET-scan on 28th August to determine the full extent of the issue. Given the timing with the appointments, not really surprised about the revelation, but disappointed. Apparently I will be “radio active” for 48 hours following the Friday scan, and have to be isolated at home for the protection of others. The notes for Libra include health issues, so not really a surprise. Hoping this won’t result in a lengthy ordeal, but doing my best to accept what transpires as something I cannot control.
I am very sorry you have to deal with this issue when you thought it was resolved, but it also sounds as if you have astute professionals looking after you. What happens when there is an eclipse in the Sixth House of health on the day of an important scan? Judge later. I’m sorry you are having these issues with your flat purchase (your tenant won’t go) and your housemate where you are currently. Just for the record, ‘You have previously said I wouldn’t enjoy the flat until 2028’ isn’t what I’ve passed on to you. The astrology suggests a waiting game with the flat, which is quite different, but the test of patience ends in 2028. This cycle is common when you renovate, for example. Yet the problems of the last few years are finally starting to weaken their devotion.
Is it possible that if Democrats win either the House or Senate, they release something about Trump that may finally break the evangelical stranglehold? They are a strong voter block, but they have abused their power and many younger voters have left in droves. Trump and the evangelicals are so intertwined that I find it hard to imagine that if one goes down, the other would suffer just as much. You will either replace somebody else, or will be part of a group which scatters, thanks to a replacement of an employer, boss, C.E.O. or leading figure in your field. You cannot see this and do not know about it. So let the eclipse go. Months or years later you will discover how much you were not shown about this replacement. I’m sorry you are living with anxiety. He is using the camera online although I block it and cover it and is using chat sites. My partner has his own home too so we are working on the sleep issues. Yes, and that eclipse with cover-ups and blind spots.I think it’s about his illness. A blood disease, like leukaemia, for example. They didn’t give a blood transfusion to my father-in-law either when he passed away some years ago. Because he was old and sick an it would have prolonged his suffering. It’s a human way to let go, I think, but of course nobody knows. If our country will have a republic in about 20 years (before King Haakon’s reign is over, really) then it matches what the UK is going for. It is possible that this is the cover-up and blind spot, yes. Eclipses by their very nature do not show for years, sometimes. We are in the dark until light dawns and in this case it may not be until the Thirties that there is any insight into what might have been going on with that particular monarchy. Do astrologers predict William will be the last to reign in England? I believe he may lose the Commonwealth. That would fit the astrology. Beyond the Forties, Pluto (transformation) goes into William’s sector of foreigners and foreign countries. I am so sorry you have migraines. Health is automatically about the Sixth House in astrology so we go there first. You have a packed Sixth House, full of Virgo factors – Virgo rules the way in which your deepest feelings about working, affect your wellbeing. As a child you learn that being ill gets you time off school. Nothing changes in adulthood. Having migraines gets you off – work, housework, any unpaid work (like volunteering), study and all duties at home which you are resisting, on some level. Set the age to one side, Em. It’s irrelevant. The Four of Wands is a happy event with family and friends. I am not sure what your question was. Were you asking, where the next job was? Possibly in hospitality or accommodation, or events, if so. Or you would attend (say) a wedding or Christmas function and a friend or relative would give you a job there. The Devil was your reply to a question about a follow-up course. You asked ‘should’ you do it. With regard to Norway: they never did announce King Harald’s cause of death. It seems to have gone unnoticed because they announced two conditions he was in hospital with (hymolitic anemia and an infection of the blood). So his death was most likely blood-related.

Thank you. To start at the end, I would not associate transiting Pluto in conjunction with the Ascendant (Aquarius) and the Sun to show a coronation. Is there still a chance for the monarchy? It faces a crisis for the next 20 years as does the British monarchy. Pluto in Aquarius (people power) is in opposition to Leo, the sign we link to royal families. Of course we see this every 248 years and in Britain, kings and queens have survived. What seems more likely is a radical, quite revolutionary re-imagining of royalty, as Uranus will also go in Leo, at the same time (some years into the future). This also brings shocks.
