Mars, Jupiter and the South Node
Mars is the Roman god of war who charges forward, attacks goals, relies on rapid action, turns up the heat, stands in the front line, pushes through and fights to win. Mars is associated with athletes as well as soldiers. Mars rules Aries and the First House in astrology and is linked to people who go in headfirst. It is associated with the battering ram. It is a symbol of locking horns and competing.
Jupiter is the Roman ‘Optimus Maximus’ or best and greatest. Jupiter is about growth, hope and expansion. Overdue improvement. Empire building. Jupiter is about sweeping, large-scale solutions which benefit everybody. Jupiter rules luck. He was born lucky and offers others a lucky escape or a fortunate resolution, even to difficult issues. He rules Sagittarius and the Ninth House in astrology.
The South Node is a point in your horoscope, not a planet. It describes karma from 18-19 years ago and then 18-19 years before that. The Dragon’s Tail, as it is also known, can’t be separated from the Dragon’s Head or North Node. This happens to be in Aquarius, the sign of people power, friendship and the group. So what happens to you, involves that too. Good karma is due with Jupiter on board.
What Degree Are Your Leo Factors?
If you have Leo factors at 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and/or 26 degrees, then Jupiter will make a transiting conjunction. This can only happen every 12 years.
The ‘what’ of your story depends on what you have at those degrees. So, for example, if you were born with the Sun at Leo 23, Jupiter going over Leo 23 will increase your ability to shine. It will offer you big solutions if you want to stand out from the crowd.
Mars will also go over 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and/or 26 degrees in this time-frame, from September 29th until November 25th. This can only happen around every two years. This is an historic gain.
Factors at 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 Leo also show clear gains. Why? The South Node goes over those degrees of Leo, as does Mars, in this same time-frame.
Jupiter will go over 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 either now, as 2026 ends, or in 2027. In any case you are being set up for vast improvements as a parent (for example) or as a partner.
The Jupiter Rules
The only caveat here is that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Astrologers can tell you about massive opportunities but you have to take them.
Sometimes people turn Jupiter down because the answer is not perfect. The person has flaws. The situation is not 100%. Just remember, once he’s gone, Jupiter does not come back for 12 years.

I have no idea what you did for others 18 or 19 years ago but over the next few weeks it will be really obvious to you. I had a reader who walked away from interfering in a relationship, 18 years ago. It was rather like Dolly Parton’s Jolene. Well, this is karma. Your last lifetime was about parenthood and marriage, or an affair. You are owed from that lifetime and good karma will return to you. There will be an obvious settling of karmic scores (justice being done perhaps). The sense of the wheel turning and the circle closing will be powerful in the final quarter of 2026, probably with one or two faces from the past.

Venus is going backwards in Scorpio so for you, the issue has nothing to do with your love life, or the world of your children, but everything to do with the house or apartment. Venus is retrograde in your Fourth House of real estate, renovations, removal trucks and so on. That’s your public or solar chart, as a Leo. Privately and natally, your Sun, North Node and Midheaven (MC) are all in Leo, all in the Fifth House and the transit of Mars over all three will ask you to remember who you are. Queen! This is particularly true in relation to the bedroom, as you attract suitors who want to pay court, but may not consider them worthy of a key to the door. I was so very sorry to hear of your dear father’s passing. How fortunate you were to have had him so long, though of course he will still be close in spirit. I didn’t yet have such knowledge when my father passed, but it was what opened that door for me. Now we’re still watching ball games together.
As I’ve mentioned before, my Jupiter is at 21 Leo and have quite a few chart factors at 20-29. My only other Leo factor is Pluto at 26. This is regard to the world predictions – There is something called Project 2025 hovering around the US, which could be detrimental to progress in many ways, and what happens in the US has a ripple effect everywhere. I won’t go into detail here but I’m sure you already know about it. Do you see this going away given the global reckoning? I am praying that this doesn’t come to fruition.
Project 25 dates from April 2023 and seeks to ban pornography and end legal abortion. You can’t really succeed with that, when you have entire generations born with outer planets in Scorpio (sex and money) and we certainly do. The Pluto in Scorpio generation will not be controlled. So it’s a failure from the start and in fact, has failed for the last two years. Pluto always shows how people seek power and total control. In Scorpio, they want it in their sexual relationships, but also their own sexuality and there is a multi-billion dollar industry harnessing that. They’re a bit late out of the gate to stop that now. In August of 2018, I believe it was a solar eclipse in Leo and I went through a really horrific time in my life. How will this transit affect my chart. I cross my fingers it will be a good transit. Thank you. Ceres at 20 Leo in your Fifth House is important. So, too, is whatever you have at 26 Leo. (You don’t mention what). Leo rules your Fifth House, not your Second House. This entire period is a double whammy, because as a Sun Gemini you will also have transits in Libra at the same time, in your solar Fifth House. I am sure I don’t have to repeat what the Fifth House is all about. Ceres was a mother; she had a daughter called Proserpina whom she temporarily lost, but then regained equal access to. You have a lifetime pattern of compromise and sharing regarding babies, children, teenagers, young adults. Sometimes you have to relinquish parenthood for half the time. Your North Node in Leo in the Fifth House suggests your last incarnation concerned parenthood, but also sexual relationships. The story there has been carried through into this life for closure. You don’t say if you have godchildren, younger relatives or offspring of your own, but the first thing to say is – expect overdue improvements, a bigger part to play in their lives (and they in yours) and any issues to be resolved. Going to your solar chart first (the Sun Sign is always first) you are a Sun Leo woman so shine at your brilliant best when you are queen to a younger court and also courted by lovers or – just one king. This is how you stand out from the crowd at your most glorious. This long triple transit will remind you that you do in fact have the keys to your own kingdom in 2026, 2027 and should make the most of it. Apollo and Proserpina are in Leo in your Fifth House of courtship, the bedroom, heirs, spares and pretenders to your throne. You are a natural leader here and are often imitated by others. You can also be ruthless. You habitually liase between powerful people or powerful groups, which affects your sexual relationships, romantic inclinations and the role that children, teenagers and Millennials play. A very common example is going between your stepson’s real mother and your partner, his real father. Another one is liasing between teachers and your daughter’s father. Proserpina spent half the year with her mother and half the year with her husband. She had to keep powerful Pluto and controlling Ceres content so split herself in two to do that, bridging the gap. You will probably become a grandmother if your son’s wife is willing and able; that would be a common outcome of Jupiter going across your Leo stellium. You have the Descendant (DC) and Panacea in Leo in your Fifth House of sexual relationships and younger generations. The Descendant is at 6 Leo and Panacea is at 17 Leo. You were already offered an opportunity and solution which you have rejected. Either that or your birth time is wrong. From September 18th to 22nd, though, Jupiter will be at 17 Leo in a conjunction with Panacea. Well i think i might have connected the dots on this transit lol. My husband and I (both Sun Capricorns)are in the process of selling our business to two of our younger employees. Both have been with the business since they started full time work.The 40 yr old is a Sun Aries and the 21yr old is a Sun Sagitarius. Our Sag fellow is the risk taker with a big heart and is more cashed up. While the Aries fellow is more experienced but a bit dogmatic and less cashed up. Nothing has been signed as yet and we are also considering vendor finance. So i feel there is a very interesting dynamic going on here with these Leo transits and I have Uranus at 25 Leo. I was very, very lucky to call her a friend as well as a top Penguin. Your life as a primary school teacher will take you from one natural high to another by mid 2027. Thank you. Leo has nothing to do with your health unless it is about fertility, pregnancy or virility. So it’s about abortion and impotence, as well as post-natal depression, but nothing else. Assuming your health issues are none of these, the real story here is about your heirs, courtship and bedroom. Pluto in Leo in the Fifth House is about a lifetime of attempts to control the same, with regular compromises. You are obsessive in love, need to dominate your partner and the situation and are always made to back down or give up, for at least half the time. It’s not just you. Thank you. Can you have a Fifth House transit by yourself? Absolutely. Nelson Mandela did. Anyone in solitary confinement does. You have Uranus in Leo in the Fifth House, though, so there has to be a story there, even if it’s just you and the pillow. This is the house of Leo the king, who must have queen, usually has a mistress, and always has heirs, spares and pretenders to his throne. Uranus in this house, rejects and is in turn rejected. In this way, everybody can become free, independent and unfettered. Your chiropractor’s son has rejected you and set you free. That’s a good example of Uranus in Leo in the Fifth House. You do not have to complicate your life with him, because he isn’t interested. Can you still find a relationship or marriage with Uranus in Leo in the Fifth House? Of course. Jupiter transiting over 26 Leo will form a rare conjunction with Uranus at 26 Leo in your Fifth House of parenthood, substitute parenthood (teaching or being a godmother) and of course, the world of dating and sex within a relationship or marriage. The key is Uranus itself as you are innately prone to upheaval in your life as a lover, partner, mother, potential mother and so on. Why does it happen? Because you reject people. As I have not used zero Aries Ascendant charts much in the past, I decided to read the meanings of these placements in my chart here and the birth time chart. It was fascinating to see the indications were the same, e.g. fixed stars in the 10th house chart, had were as relevant in the 5th house of the zero Aries chart. I was up half the night reading the meanings and refreshing my memory about my life experiences to date, and the accuracy of the symbols in my chart literally manifested in my journey. Remembering who I am and the requirement to continue on the path was exhilirating! The synchronicity of finding your website at this time in my journey has reminded me, if I don’t do the work, no need to be here. My spirit guides are happier now and so am I! Thank you very much. The reality of astrology is that it should say the same thing twice, in two different systems. In fact, it should say the same thing three or four times, if the horoscopes work. This is not always the case; there are some wildly inaccurate house systems, astrological symbols and also astrologers out there. When you do hit pay dirt, though, it can be astonishing to see completely different takes on a chart, echo each other. I expect you did find this website at the right time. Your Ascendant at 25 Leo in the Fifth House suggests that you are seen as queen to a younger court; even when young you were princess in a realm of junior faces. This is the badge of the class captain, team captain, prefect, older sister and so on. If your birth time is accurate you are perceived as being a leader and if you are a mother, godmother, aunt, grandmother that perception increases. Your astrological chart shows a huge stellium in Leo from 10 to 26 degrees, so Jupiter going over 10 to 26 Leo will offer you the opportunity to have more, and do more, with a younger generation – but also in a sexual relationship. He is currently at 17 Leo so you have already been shown what is possible, and with whom. Jupiter is a problem solver. He also opens situations up and offers overdue improvement. My life hasn’t been the same since August 1st, living a nomads life from one Airbnb to another. My boss at work left the company and I’m left with unclear role and boundaries at work, everyone is dumping their not so glamorous tasks on me. My plans to move to NZ have halted, none of interviews have worked in my favor because either I’m too qualified or don’t have a visa.

Your Leo stellium has nothing to do with work. It is about babies, infants, children, teenagers and young adults. Hi Jessica, I am still dealing with the Aries stepdad’s and Gemini mom’s financial issues, (their wills). Since mom was dx with Lewy Body dementia in June of this year there have been some behind the scenes happing’s. And not of the good sort. This has all been very disappointing but not surprising given the stepfamily’s history.
I totally get why this retrograde is important, so I feel like I should just wait it out. I’m sure more information will come to me without me even digging for it
