World Cup 2026 in Psychic Astrology

The Tarot and Oracle cards tell us who wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup. One thing is sure. Fox (the Murdoch organisation) wins financially. But the Fox card also has a double meaning.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup in Psychic Astrology

The Grand Final of the 2026 World Cup takes place on the 20th of July (depending on your time zone) and the Tarot and Oracle cards on this website have already spoken.

This applies even if the host country is not America (there is talk of a boycott by European teams).

The question is simple. ‘Who or what wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup?’

The King of Pentacles Wins

I am publishing this on 25th January 2026, so looking six months into the future. An extremely wealthy man wins according to the Smith Waite Tarot.

He has a football in his right hand. A microphone in his left. This is Fox, isn’t it? Later on you will see the Fox card actually comes up. Fox Sports has the American/English language broadcast rights.

As always with the Tarot, the card works on several levels. This is also the winning team. The captain, perhaps, or lead goal-scorer. Maybe the coach. Is that Taurus the bull or Capricorn the goat on the throne? What about the team colours, are they hiding in the card? I’m curious about the right foot encased in armour. You might say that’s a defensive right foot player.

My readers have an excellent track record of picking World Cup winners, months before it happens. What are you seeing?

Hygiea in the Twelfth House

Sometimes spelled Hygeia, Hygiea in the Twelfth House is The Astrology Oracle answer. The Twelfth House rules religion, hypnosis, psychics, meditation, mediumship, solitude, spirituality, therapy.

Hygiea is about prevention not cure. Protection. I like ‘Pre-emptive strike’ in the interpretation as it could be easily about football.  Quote, “She is your defence system.” This is a defending team and/or a defender. This mirrors the hard right foot I saw in the King of Pentacles above.

Fox Wins the FIFA World Cup 2026

You don’t have to be a professional psychic to see that Fox is going to make a fortune from the World Cup in 2026. In fact, it may turn on an entire nation to football (the world game) and thus rake in the subscriptions. That does rather suggest the USA goes through. Is Emily Fox or Danny Fox commentating? Let’s turn to the actual interpretation, from The Modern Lenormand Oracle.

14 2025 Modern Lenormand Cards Fox - World Cup 2026 in Psychic Astrology

Interpretation of Fox in The Modern Lenormand Oracle

Most people know what a fox represents. Many people love them, too.

The Fox Broadcasting Company is home to the cleverest animation of them all, The Simpsons. Bart, the cunning prankster, is as tricky as a fox.

Pouncing on prey is a fox characteristic. So is intelligence. Foxes construct detailed mental maps of their territory.

When this card turns up, there are questions about strategy to answer.

Reynard the fox outwits wolves through deception. Reynard is sly. A bit like Bart Simpson. Yet, the Reynard character in the Roman de Renart cycle goes all the way back to 12th century France.

Foxes Around the World

In Aesop’s Fables, a fox flatters a bird to steal its cheese.

In Japan, the fox is also a trickster; a kitsune. Native Americans equate foxes with problem solving ability. Strategic cunning and wit are traditional fox traits.

Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox (1970) is the story of a British farm raider who uses tunnelling schemes and crafty deception. Foxes get away with things. They duck and dive.

Michael J. Fox is the most famous example of a person carrying the Fox name in America. No matter if he is playing the fast-talking Marty McFly in Back to the Future, or hilariously playing himself in Curb Your Enthusiasm with Larry David, he shows fox-like qualities.

Hunted and Pursued

Fox pelts used in clothing have made the fox one of the most hunted and pursued creatures in the world. This is an unusual symbol in The Lenormand Oracle; a fox is both the predator and the prey.

When you are a target, you have to be clever to avoid being caught. ‘Yet, foxes also target hens.

Fox Hunting and Foxes, Hunting

Fox hunting with hounds began in Britain in the 16th century. Outnumbered by up to 30 dogs, a single fox would be chased for up to 20 miles before being killed. Most people in Britain oppose fox hunting for this reason.

When this card turns up, you need to look at both sides, though. Foxes are both predatory, but also prey. A fox is both the hunter and the hunted.

There may be questions about what is fair, or not fair. Sporting, or not sporting. Who and what is fair game, or not?

Tactics and Timing

Urban foxes, especially in London, are a good example of how agile and adaptable the animal can be. They forage at night. A fox outmanoeuvres its enemies.

The brilliant Lucius Fox in Batman is another example of fox-like thinking.

When we talk about ‘outfoxing’ somebody by using facts and figures, we are expressing the Lenormand Fox card.

Bride in The Modern I Ching

Who or what wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup in psychic astrology? Bride, according to The Modern I Ching Oracle. Now, that’s an unexpected answer. But it may make more sense at the time, in July.

Card 44 I Ching Oracle Cards 203x300 - World Cup 2026 in Psychic Astrology

Sometimes known as Coupling or Coming To Meet, this I Ching hexagram is about someone or something new and powerful, changing your life. Like your future wife, in fact. Or a man who can make you a future bride. Of course we have to be realists and understand that marriages fail. Society has a high divorce rate. So the commitment needs to be analysed very carefully as does the person who is committing.

A bride at the altar can be a powerful and persuasive thing. It is very hard to walk away or not turn up. A message about appearances and charm also comes with this hexagram. Beauty and grace are not enough. There has to be more, if you are going to wed yourself to a situation or person, or offer your ‘hand’ in a commitment.

People talk about being married to the firm, or married to the job. What is the nature of the vows being made and is there absolute certainty about the chemistry? Marry in haste, repent at leisure is a well-known maxim. What’s the deal, here? It may be very good, built to last and so on, but every bride has to know as much as she can – as does every groom. Diana Spencer did not. This symbol is of course modern and can refer to two men, or two women, literally marrying. It’s very much about society, structure and the reality of it all.

Group Differences Wins

At least in The Garden Oracle, Group Differences wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup. And, before you ask, Scotland (see the thistle-like flower) is up against Haiti, Morocco and Brazil. Does a divided Scotland team hand the 25th June game to Brazil and does Brazil then go through? Or does Scotland go through? This is the interpretation, below.

Competing Opinions Within the Group

There are a number of competing opinions, plans or projects within the group at the moment. Because of the very different personalities involved, it’s hard for those concerned to see the other point of view. Some of you may be caught up in the conflict. Others may be solely focused on their ideas, or point of view.

Try to stand back from this rather complex and confusing situation to see your part in the scheme of things. There is a way out of this, for yourself, your vision, and the group. However, you can do nothing until you either a) disengage from a dispute or b) move your focus from your project or idea back to the others.

32 GROUP DIFFERENCES 203x300 - World Cup 2026 in Psychic Astrology

There is a good chance here that everyone can get what they want. To get there from here, though, communication is required. You can start to make this possible by changing your position and your angle, so that you are in the best possible place and time to be heard. The message? ‘It’s time to talk- and listen.’

This will require a considerable amount of effort from you, and you may feel as if you are risking what is precious if you do this. But you are taking a great risk anyway, just by allowing this messy situation to continue. One option: move right away from what is happening, then find a smart way to re-enter and start again.

This is a co-dependent set-up. Each of you is stuck in this unproductive tangle because of the other. If you alter your stance, it may be enough to bring in the required conditions for change. There are no guarantees it will work, but it is worth the attempt. Try to see the virtues of a win-win result. And sell it to them.

Of course, you may decide that this kind of effort asks more than it is worth. In which case, where to now, both for you and what you hold so dear? And what impact will it have, to leave the group behind like this? These are all good questions to ask. But a choice must be made. Stop sacrificing your time like this.

Putting It All Together – Psychic Takes on the World Cup

The astrology at the final (which will be 5.00am in Melbourne, unfortunately for me) is very much about the zodiac sign Cancer. The Sun is the spotlight at the time; the scorching heat, the summer sun in America and the media focus is on Cancer matters – “My home is my castle” in the case of the King of Pentacles who wins.

What about the other cards? Hidden somewhere in these interpretations is, perhaps, a literal answer to the question! I’ll check back on Comments and we can keep coming back to this feature as July draws closer. So far, though, I think it’s pretty clear that Fox Sports wins, most of all. And that just has to be Lachlan or Rupert Murdoch, doesn’t it?

  1. Garden oracle card has the purple thistle which is the national flower of Scotland and it appears on the team crest per Wikipedia. The rule thistle represent strength, courage, resilience and pride. Scotland qualified for FIFA world cup 2026 but are not favored to win or even advance beyond the early matches. Long shot 250 to 1 but who knows stranger things have happened! They along with Great Britain are the oldest football teams. Maybe this is their year – there’s that saying “Always the bridesmaid never the bride” maybe this year they are the bride?

    1. I really like your interpretation. Another vote for Scotland. I didn’t know it was the team crest – thank you for that. It is possible that Scotland is a divided team and that this affects the team which ends up going through. That would be the logical answer, given Scotland is hardly Brazil! Yet, stranger things have happened, as you say.

  2. We shall see if the World Cup happens in the US especially after another murder by trump goons ICE. There are talks from European teams may not want to play in the US and there could be greater calls for a boycott. To me, I hope people do boycott it and this is coming from someone that loves soccer. We shall see though.

    1. Yes, there’s talk of a boycott of the World Cup in January 2026, but of course we have to see what happens to Donald in April and May. My colleague and friend in NewYork, Madalyn Aslan, has more to say about that at The Astrology and Tarot Show next month. At the moment, the cards suggest it goes ahead.

  3. Hello, thank you for the article. Leicester FC in the UK are known as The Foxes- the fox is on their badge too. They were recently still in the premier league so I assume will have players of international standard playing in the world cup … maybe they could be key to a big win. Gary Lineker famously supports Leicester/ the foxes. I hope it goes ahead even if games are moved from the US for safety. Thanks again!

    1. Interesting take. Leicester! Thank you. Lots of people wondering if the cup isn’t taken out of America. Let’s watch the other Fox for that.

  4. Amended comment: Shortly after reading this blog, I looked out my kitchen window in Scotland and saw a fox in the garden 🙂

  5. Hi Jessica
I can only see Brazilian flag colours in the King of Pentacles. A Scottish win would be lovely as great to see the underdog do well but looks unlikely.

    1. Yes, those are the Brazilian flag colours. I am beginning to wonder if the thistle was a red herring. Then again another reader just saw a Highland cow on the King of Pentacles’ throne!

  6. The King of Pentacles reminds me of Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. He is often depicted wearing what appears to be a high collar, and the crown on the card resembles the doubled cord braid of his headdress. In images, he is seated perhaps 60–70% of the time, which reinforces the association for me.

I know there will be World Cup games, but I am no longer convinced that athletes will want to play in the United States. They will probably only play in Canada and Mexico, avoiding the US altogether. With consumers around the world actively boycotting the U.S., it’s hard to imagine international fans choosing to spend money here.

When I saw and read about the Bride card, my immediate impression was that it represented a continuation of the story—one in which the bride is left waiting at the altar, unresolved and suspended.

Regarding ICE, the individuals who are trying to help immigrants are often placing themselves at great personal risk. In recent years, we’ve seen multiple high-profile acts of extreme protest or violence—such as the shooting involving the United Healthcare CEO, the alleged case involving Dr. Andrea Abua and the dialysis industry, and even the young man who injured Trump’s ear. I see these not as endorsements of violence, but as examples of people who believed they were sacrificing their own lives for an ideological cause. In that sense, they viewed themselves as martyrs rather than perpetrators. People who are protesting these ICE raids and other injustices are sacrificing themselves for the greater good.

    1. Now, there’s a very rich man indeed. And yes, the crown does resemble the braid on his headdress. And fancy you picking up that he’s usually seated! What you say about the World Cup not being played in America could easily fit the cards, true. The killing of two American protesors against ICE is really the two shots heard around the world. Something changed with those deaths. Donald has delivered one outcome after another which other nations have recoiled against, of course, but perhaps we are looking at a tipping point in 2026 when there will be a push against the US altogether. I think Fox probably holds the clues.

  7. Jessica, will you be giving a blog on the ongoing situation involving Trump, especially has he has made it his personal mission to make us all miserable in the US and millions of us pray every day for his downfall? You mentioned several months ago Trump would eventually face justice, but when? Many of us believe Trump’s relation with Epstein is more than just innocent. But what dates should we look for? We know Trump will never leave (he will die before that happens, because he knows people will go after him the moment he leaves office). But if he is distracted, maybe we can enjoy the World Cup in peace.
We in America are very tired of him. This week another person was killed by ICE. Prices are still high, and we are so tired of him. Will it ever end?

    1. My last major post on Donald was some years ago when I predicted his downward spiral. It is coming to pass as you read this with his opinion poll ratings literally spiralling down. He is also showing a health spiral. And of course the Epstein Files are being withheld by Pam Bondi. Why? I sympathise with American readers who are tired of him and wonder when it will end! The problem is the double data Donald provided. One birthday in June the other in July. So his chart cannot be read. Michael Lutin gave him two years. My colleague and his friend (and mine) Madalyn Aslan gives him 2026, 2027. That is what I can pass on to you, from those two New York psychic astrologers.

  8. “Group differences” is a good description of the UK right now, with our highly unpopular government! Also unhappy “marriage” between the four nations of the UK. Usually a huge fuss is made of the England team in the UK. so wouldn’t it be fun if it was Scotland instead. And it could be a Highland cow on the tarot card…

    1. Aha, the Highland cow. You have put two and two together there. The question was ‘Who or what wins?’ and the Tarot can be tricky sometimes (through true) so what actually wins may be a Scotland group difference or unhappy marriage with England. Let’s see. Thank you for your prediction.

  9. Scotland… it might be possible, and certainly I wish them the cup.
    Although…
Jessica, you wrote that Cancer is prominently present:
Lamine Jamal is a young, talented, and smart (fox?) Spanish footballer born on July 13, 2007, so one week before the final day: Sun in Cancer, as you wrote.
He is primarily left-footed (note the link to the left foot from the King of Pentacles’ perspective).
I only see one foot and one ball. Perhaps this refers to the final score : 1-0 (or 0-1); or are more goals scored by the same foot?
Today, footballshoes are available in all colors. I’m curious to see which color the goalscorer will wear during the final.
The groupdifferences may be related to the age differences: the current coach of the Spanish team is opting for a mix of emerging talent and established players.
And the bride ? … We will see it in july as you said.
The yellow background could be a reference to the sun in the land of bullfighting and its beautiful Moorish castles.
But I would not bet my money on it…

    1. A left-footer is certainly a candidate. How interesting about the score which you see as 1-0 maybe. Scotland and her thistle has come up, but the other cards are there too. And of course the thistle may be a symbol of thorny team relationships not so much the proud weed. (I am allowed to call it a weed, I think, apologies to Scots readers). Jamal is foxy and he would be in the spotlight as the Sun goes over his Cancer Sun, on his solar return. Let’s see what the bride brings!

  10. Hi Jessica,
When I saw these cards I immediately thought of one man…Cristiano Ronaldo. There are 5 goats (Greatest Of All Time) on the card (I assume the one on the King’s foot is a goat’s head). Ronaldo has won the Balon d’or 5 times. Ronaldo is the King when it comes to International Caps, he has the record with over 200 appearances for Portugal. The King is holding a gold coin and a sceptre, which is a tribute to Ronaldo’s immense wealth and popularity on all media platforms. The King’s face is similar to Ronaldo’s features.
The colour of the card is primarily red, green and gold. Like the Portugal flag. The King’s clothes is red and green, similar to the Portugal national football team shirt. The castle at the back is similar to the castles that are in the capital, Lisbon. The 3 roses on the King’s crown? Champions of Europe 3 times. 1 UEFA European Cup, 2 UEFA Nations League titles. The red dots and the King’s clothes look like grapes, and there are a lot of vines around the chair. Portugal is the largest exporter of cork in the world. Oh, and they also have good wines too. Hygeia is the ancient Greek goddess of health, cleanliness, and sanitation. Ronaldo is known for his obsession for all 3 virtues. He is also 41 years old, which is a testament to his health and longevity to be able to play at a high level at his advanced age. The fox? Possibly referring to Ronaldo’s looks. He is popular with women (and some men) world wide. The bride? Cristiano Ronaldo is often considered the bridesmaid to Lionel Messi. Messi has won more titles than Ronaldo for club and country, yet the debate about who is the best continues. Messi won in 22, maybe the bridesmaid will be the bride this time? The thistle, not just the thistle cheese that Portugal is known for, but the team itself has many points. Bernardo SIlva, Bruno Fernandes, Joao Cancelo, Diogo Dalot, Jose Sa, Ruben Dias…it’s a decent team. Many points and personalities. This was what I immediately thought when I saw these cards. Maybe I’m wrong!

    1. So interesting about Ronaldo and your five goats. I like this way of reading the Tarot. He’s worth a fortune of course. And he does look rather like the King of Pentacles in some photographs, agreed. And yes, the red and green is correct. I am impressed by the way you have gone into such deep detail with your prediction. And then there is Messi and the bridesmaid-bride connection Let’s check back and see. Who and what wins the cup? Cristiano Ronaldo, perhaps.

  11. Will the World Cup be played in the US? Will FIFA ban the games here because of all the awfulness?
I care about the athletes but it would send a strong signal to the world about the current administration horrible global and domestic policies

    1. The beautiful game is also the world game – and yes – the world is increasingly turning against Donald and his colleagues and fans. The cards have spoken and the ‘what’ wins here is money. The victory will go where the money is. The US dollar just plunged so of course US hotel accommodation and flights, holiday expenses and side trips are now far more affordable for the rest of the world. So let’s see. We have a few months to go until July.

  12. Hi Jessica,
As you predicted, this month has been all about my career whereas my new relationship has suffered…lot of frustrations about an ex wife and kids (all of a sudden). I accepted a job offer (a completely different role and title) from one of my previous companies that I worked for during 2020-2023 period. It requires me to relocate and go back to where I was living in 2024 again. Can you help me understand where life is leading me, I am feeling a bit lost with so many changes all coming at me once. I still would like to move to NZ and have started chatting to some companies there as well.

    1. Yes, the career choice is important and takes you into February. It’s a test of your own power and control in a situation and it may take all your Taurus stubborn push-back resistance to reclaim it. You are not the only person having issues about children, parenting and co-parenting but these stop in the final week of July along with karma from life as it was 18-19 years ago. Closure will come slowly and it’s a very different world from August 1st for you. Fortunately there are huge solutions for family, home, real-estate, your sense of belonging to a place (be it New Zealand or anywhere else) starting on June 30th. You are owed good karma which will come in for landing by mid 2027 at the very latest. Jupiter changes signs on June 30th and by August you will have been shown a way out, through and up with at least one family member; possibly more.

  13. Hello again Jessica. You know me and Scotland! The spiritual home of both Football and Golf we do indeed have the Thistle as our emblem as well as the Unicorn. I couldn’t see a Unicorn on the tarot but definitely a heilin’ coo. A country back in the day, wedded to England against her people ‘s wishes perhaps the Bride connection? Is Scotland not Cancer? Scotland’s supporters, know as the Tartan Army, are known far and wide for their joy and generosity win or lose so the atmosphere when the Scots and Brazilians supporters get together celebrating the “ beautiful game” will be fantastic regardless of where. We are ever hopeful – wouldn’t it be amazing

    1. Correct, there is no unicorn anywhere in Pamela’s Tarot. There is an approximation of the St. Andrew’s Cross, though it did not turn up in this particular reading. Perhaps The Bride of Erin could be taken for the Bride card. I am beginning to wonder about these games against Haiti and Morocco, but particularly Brazil, are going to play out. Brazil being the obvious contender for top dog. Penalties? Neymar going out? Thank you.

  14. I see Spain winning the World Cup, by it being moved to Spain. The bulls are synonymous with Spain’s bullfighting and running of the bulls, whilst on the coat of arms, red ribbons snake around the Pillars of Hercules, so that would fit the images. I think King Felipe might be able to “outfox” competitors and have the competition in Spain. I would love Scotland to win, but if they don’t I think Scott McTominay could win the Golden Boot, tying in with the thistle and the metal footwear in the cards. He plays for Scotland through choice (and genealogy). I don’t think the World Cup will go ahead in the USA – I feel blatant corruption will be disclosed in the lead up and too many teams will boycott if it is not moved elsewhere.

    1. Daring prediction, thank you. America loses the World Cup because the rest of the world is so appalled by Donald and James – or by Kremlin Korruption, at the very least. It goes to Spain. I agree with you about the bull imagery and also King Felipe. You clearly know your footer, as you are also aware of the Golden Boot possibly going to Scotland. Put it this way. If it does go to Spain there will be a ton of traffic to this website and I will owe you a large bottle of champagne!

  15. Hi Jessica,

Not knowing too much about football, but I immediately thought Spain from The King of Pentacles card. It might be a stretch but The Bride could hint at Dani Carvajal Ramos from Real Madrid, the team known because of their all-white uniform as Los Blancos and Los Merengues! Group differences may be the rivalry between Carvajal and Lamine Yamal, both on the Spanish team.

  16. Brazilian replying here.
Unfortunately we won’t bring the cup back this year.

That being said, fox + bride in white = England. (Queen Victoria started this “marry in white fashion” which stands for over 150 yrs).

So that is my guess: England takes the Cup.
Which is ironic, the English taking a Cup from American soil after 1776…

  17. Hi Jessica when I looked at the Tarot card I saw a Spanish Castle + a lion, both on the Spanish crest.
Sunny skies, Spain’s colours + red grapes (wine/sangria) and the bull.
The Bride card looks like a Spanish lady with all the lace on the headrest.
My prediction is Spain will win and the winning goal or penalty will be scored by a left footer. I’ve looked up the Spanish team and they have quite a few left footers. The dissent could be who takes the penalties.
The flower card is Sea Holly, most often found on dry rocky coastlines.

  18. I’m seeing Brazil in the King of Pentacles. Not only because of its colours, but because Brazil has won the world cup 5 times (penta).

  19. Jessica I apologize if you have addressed this but what’s your take on another pandemic (this yr??) soon what is your take? Do you agree?

    1. The pandemic never went away; people still become ill with Covid and tragically it still takes lives. We have the South Node in Virgo, which rules public health, until the final week of July, so we are not yet over public health risks, be it a new variant of Covid, or a new issue we must tackle; another globally affecting virus.
