  1. Dear Jessica,

What a fascinating blog. I checked my chart and saw that I had Diana in Cancer and am gay. Over the last few months I have been in turmoil having met a new love in my life who is Taurean with Cancer rising as do I. The reason for my turmoil is that my previous partner (Sagittarius with moon in Aquarius) now friend is very hurt by this new relationship. Our relationship had ran its course. I don’t want to lose her friendship as she is important to me nor do I want to miss out on a new love that could be exciting. Just wondered where this will go. Thank you for your insights. Wishing you well.

    1. Thank you. Diana in Cancer in the Fourth House is a small part of the story for you. It’s true that you suit a house or apartment where you are free to be independent (no family, no partner). That can coincide with a lesbian lifestyle. The Taurus partner has karma with you going back 18-19 years to whatever happened with a previous partner – or child, actually. The karma stops in the final week of July. She owes the universe, or is owed by the universe, so that has to be repaid, spiritually. The Sagittarius ex will see the relationship with you, or another woman, turn upside-down from the final week of April and by July, the last thing the Sagittarian or anybody else expected, is the first thing that will happen. It will be liberating for her. I hope that helps.

    1. Astrology does not predict the end of any relationship. It shows challenges or opportunities to use.

  2. Hi Jessica , fascinating article. I’m not gay and have been married a long time but was wondering does this apply to men too ? Having those factors in Diana or is there another asteroid that applies to men too? Thank you .

    1. I’m overdue to write a feature on gay men in astrology, but yes, Diana in a man’s chart shows his wild female side. There are 34 factors in a modern astrology chart, half female, half male. So we all have classical feminine and masculine traits. I’ll go through the birth charts of some famous gay men in the feature and look at how they used the asteroids, in particular, in their horoscopes. Julian Clary would have to be a prime suspect for Diana as he’s mad about dogs (he’s wonderful; we follow each other on X-Twitter).

  3. Hello Jessica, I’ve been waiting for an article like this for a long time, as my daughter is a lesbian. However, a psychic monk once told us that she’s just confused with her sexuality. I do know that she struggles with dating, usually after 3 months they are in the friend’s zone, as my husband and I call it. Her birthday is 9-23-93. What do you see in her future? All I want for her is to be happy and one day find her person! Thank you in advance.

    1. Your daughter is born on the cusp so I’m afraid without a time, place and date of birth, I can’t judge anything by her Sun Sign as her solar chart will either be Virgo or Libra and that’s unclear here. Your own chart is far easier to read. You have your Jupiter Return coming in the sign of Cancer, which rules the family, in your Fourth House of close relatives. That is rare and fortunate; it happens when transiting Jupiter goes to 24 Cancer, so June 2026. Come what may with her relationships, you are set for an opportunity not possible in 12 years, regarding the expansion of the family circle and the chance for overdue solutions. And this isn’t just your daughter, of course, it’s the whole clan.

  4. Hi Jessica
I love the rainbow flag and what it stands for my question is why are all psychics and mediums m2f trans? I go to psychic fairs and I see males there but majority are trans. just curious. respect. Ty. kerrie

    1. Kerrie, I’ve never known a male psychic or medium, dressed as a woman – to be honest with you. Nor the reverse.

  5. Hello again Jessica, sorry for the new reply but it wouldn’t allow me to comment on my previous question. My daughter was born in Orlando, Florida at 9:53pm Sept 23, 1993. I was also told by another astrologer that she wasn’t gay, but that she found women less intimidating. Could you tell me what you see in her future? I truly appreciate your response!

    1. Astrology can’t actually tell you if somebody is gay, lesbian, bisexual or straight. It can show you a female side and male side – that’s it. So I disagree with this astrologer. Something that would work well for you here is the Tarot on my website. Just follow the steps. Its artist Pamela Colman Smith was very likely a lesbian. Some of her best friends were lesbians. So you could use the cards to find out – does she prefer men or women? Is that permanent or temporary? And so on. And of course the best person to use the Tarot is your daughter, herself.

  6. Hi Jessica, that’s a fascinating article. I checked my daughter’s chart and she has Diana in Aquarius. She’s only 12 years old, so not really showing any sign of anything. But, once I was told that in an astrology forum that she maybe lesbian as she has Uranus conjunct moon (in Aries). Is this another configuration on lesbianism? Thank you

    1. Thank you. Uranus in a conjunction with the Moon is not an indicator of being a lesbian in a girl’s chart. It does show that motherhood, pregnancy and substitute motherhood (being a godparent or stepmother) is unpredictable, happens suddenly, involves a break with the past, and new independence and freedom.

  7. Dear Jessica, what an interesting article, and I’m really looking forward to the post about gay men in astrology. I also like the term “bi-curious.” I checked the birth chart of my younger daughter, who is a teenager—she keeps telling me that she doesn’t want to have children or get married later in life—and she has Diana and Juno in conjunction at 21° Scorpio, which form a trine to her Sun at 21° Cancer. Now I’m wondering if her statement might be reflected in this configuration? Interestingly, I have Juno at 20° Scorpio in conjunction with her Juno and Diana. I hope this is a helpful connection for our mother-daughter relationship. Thank you in advance.

    1. Your daughter does not want children or a husband and yes, it is shown by that highly unusual chart pattern. Diana is in the sex, death and money sign (Scorpio) next to Juno, a symbol of the pros and cons of marriage. Diana of course is famously free. Together they pick up her Sun in Cancer in the Fourth House of family. Your own Juno is on her Juno. So your mixed feelings about her father/marriage/commitment show up in her attitude towards legal partnership too. Have a look at Juno in your online guides in the members’ space.

  8. Morning Jessica
I’m female. problem is I love gay men. I grew up in male dominated italian family where men are men. I’m now aged 30+ and I sincerely appreciate gay men’s gentleness, humour and dress style. I fall in love with with them and get heart broken each time. how do I deal eith this. please? 10 of cups tarot. julie

    1. Thanks Julie. How do you deal with your romantic love for gay men? You asked the Tarot and it showed you the Ten of Cups. A man and woman with children or teenagers and a stunning home. Simple. you find a man who has children or can give them to you. So, clearly not gay!

  9. Jessica,

this is off the subject. But what about Astrology and reincarnation? How does that show up in charts please?

if Astrology doesn’t predict deaths why is it that I could predict my sister’s death? I mean events just rolled out of my mouth. I did try to change it but without success of course. it’s a soul issue

    1. Astrology shows reincarnation through the signs of the North Node and South Node. You did not use astrology to predict your sister’s death. You just predicted it. No, astrology never predicts death. It cannot and should not. I am sorry for your loss.

  10. Wow! Incredible. I’m bisexual and very much relate to this post!

Jessica, I wondered if you could take a look at my chart and let me know what you see in my living situation? I’ve been struggling with my health (migraines) for years but they have been extra bad this winter in nyc and I just found out we’ve had a gas leek in my building for I don’t know how long. My roommate has been very sick too, but we also both struggle with chronic health issues, so it’s hard to know whether there’s a connection.

I really love this apartment and need to commute to work but also really want to be safe. Do you see this issue as resolvable? Should I move? Thank you

    1. Thank you. Yes, your bisexuality shows in your birth chart. However you also have migraines and a gas leak in your building in New York. You’re a Sun Aries woman with a Virgo stellium. Push your luck and see if the laws concerning habitability can offer you a new home. It helps that your roommate has been ill too. You may be eligible for emergency rehoming, particularly with your new leader, Mamdani. Fortunate Jupiter is in your solar Fourth House of property and accommodation until June 30th so try to get something from this. You can love the apartment but this is a dangerous health risk; never mind the impact of gas on your body it is also a fire risk too. Call and email everyone you think can help you. Find out if other tenants are also suffering from migraines and health issues and operate as a group. (Pluto with all his power is in your zone of friends and groups too – ongoing). I realise this will take time and energy which is not easy with migraines. Carbon monoxide poisoning is notorious with chronic headache, though. And your chart says, if ever there was a time to get lucky with a solution, it’s now until June 30th.

    1. Apollo is the asteroid to watch with gay men (he is Diana’s brother so they are similar). I’ll post a feature on gay men and their astrology charts, shortly.

  11. Hi Jessica, well I can’t spot my lesbianism in my chart, but I love the article all the same. Over the years I’ve read some whacky interps of same sex attraction or orientation through astrologer messaging that range from nunnish to sex-fanatical through to the usual pathologising and playing on some pretty base level societal fears ,but this was refreshing. Thank you.
    Kate

    1. Kate, Diana at 25 Taurus aspects numerous factors at 26 in your chart, so you might say that she leads the way with relationships. You are financially independent and an alpha female in matters of money, business and real estate. This hooks into sexual relationships with Ceres at 26 Leo, for a start. (Diana square Ceres in the Fifth House of bedroom, courtship and parenthood). Watch what happens in 2027 when Jupiter goes over 26 Leo – that is a rare opportunity and solution involving a close relationship.
