1. This waa a great read. I am cancer north node and smiled when I read past life coupd be farmer. I grew up on a farm from age 7 to 16 and absolutely loved it. Although im living the corporate life now in Sydney I always dream of being on a property in nature, and this has got me thinking it could very well be my destiny!    1. Yes, you were a farmer before and incarnated to return to that life. You are very likely to go back to country life, even another farm, when you experience Jupiter going over your North Node in about 12 years from now.

   What I have noticed in my life is that people born in the sun sign where my north node is have had considerable impact and influence on my life. And all men. Four Gemini men, I see them each as a sort of teacher in my life. Life would be very different if not for them. One of them, their Sun is directly on my north node. Another’s Sun is on my ASC. Hugely influential in my life. Does that also fit with what you are talking about or could it just be a coincidence?

   I have my North Node in Sagittarius, and migration has become very real for me lately. With the South Node currently transiting through my Virgo 4th house, I’ve been digging into my family history. My Polish grandparents were displaced, held in forced labour camps during WWII, later migrated to Australia, and never spoke about where they came from. My mum searched her whole life, and now, in 2026, I’ve finally found their birth villages! It feels quite surreal, like something has been waiting to be found.

4. Hi Jessica, thank you for this article. I am a Cancer North Node and Capricorn South Node. I left my country when I was 21 (for other circumstances from work and university) for an arranged marriage and lived in the US for 41 years and made my living working. Almost like a 40 year period has passed and I am finally done working full time and consulting to ease out of the workforce. Looking at the Cancer chart – farm land etc…do you see me returning to my roots in India for a balance between both worlds. Almost like the karma is over. Thank you for your insights.

   1. Thank you for proving the Capricorn-Cancer nodal axis theory. An arranged marriage is certainly a classic expression of Capricorn-Cancer and you two were married in a previous life as well. You have Indian roots so this is perfectly normal and extremely common. Only you can say if you have completed karma with your arranged marriage partner.

5. Such an interesting topic, thank you for picking it up. I am often seen as a doctor, who I am obviously not. This was a path blocked by my sister, who studied to become one and in the end says, she never really wanted it… Nevertheless I was always interested in healers and studied Applied Kinesiology and Reiki next to my admin job. 6. I have seen this !! I Have north node Aquarius, and married into a family with 3 Aquarian brother in laws, and my husband and son both have Aquarius rising!! I grew up in a very female dominated family and had not had real exposure to typical man-energies, masculinity, and the quirks and intelligence and logical nature of Aquarian guys.. they have all impacted my life in monumental ways.. mostly good.. but sure took some adjustments and learning for my Cancerian soul!

   I had it all backwards!! I thought the SOUTH NODE was our past life..and the energy we already know and are comfortable with, so we “need” to lean into the qualities of the NORTH node? !

   1. The North Node and South Node are among the most misunderstood parts of astrology, along with Mercury Retrograde. I often see this nonsense that you ‘should’ pursue the sign of your North Node as if it was a sausage roll that had to be eaten, and you ‘should never’ pursue the sign of your South Node as if it was a particularly nasty caravan park loo. I have been in this profession a long time and there are so many amateurs these days. Your North Node in Aquarius and South Node in Leo have lined you up with at least one man, probably your son, whom you knew before. Your dreams of having servants indicate your South Node in Leo. You did in fact have staff and were part of the upper middle echelons in your time. Your karma in this lifetime is to lead a group without the group causing you issues – and also to be part of a group without its leader affecting the friendships within, between all of you.

   Thank you for this article on the Nodes. I used to live on a farm and I miss it. However, now that I’m older the thought of the upkeep is a lot. Do you have any thoughts about my chart in terms of living my best North Node in Cancer, whether it’s a physical location or mental/emotional? I have a stellium in Cancer with my Venus being 29 Cancer. Does this make it more challenging or easier to live my Cancer NNode? I live in the US and wonder if I should stay here or consider moving abroad. Thank you!

   1. You will go between ‘home’ and ‘away’ (to quote a notorious Australian soap opera) for your entire life, as the status and success of a particular career, or marriage (marrying well, landing the right job or honorary position) will mean packing boxes and going. Then, when the transits cross the nodes again, you may need to move back to your old home town for family support reasons. You were a farmer in your last life but may have completed that karma, well and truly.

8. Hi Jessica,

   Thanks for the expansive chart on the dates of NNODE. My life seems to be repeating from my past life, teacher, writer; as well as each of my daughters. One with NNode in Sag is currently a medical professional, Spanish interpreter and travels the world giving free medical care! Other daughter with NNode in Cap has several degrees but is having success doing things independent of those too, in art and science which both of her degrees are in! My grandson, Libra NNode we have to see, still too young.

   I wonder, do these themes repeat or are we continuing a specific path, maybe to expand on it or correct past mistakes?? I am hoping, with my chart, that SO MANY good things are finally coming my way. That 4 degree line up of so many planets later this year are going to trigger so many of my 4 degree placements, INCLUDING my nodes!!! 🙂

   1. Your Sagittarius North Node daughter has reincarnated to return to Spain and the Spanish, quite obviously. Your North Node in Capricorn daughter is so ambitious one degree is not enough. She may have been a student or academic in her last life too. We choose our next life, between lives – with the help of our guides. When I studied I did an internship in Venice and initially I hated the place, but soon after I felt so at home and weirdly enough always found my way through the maze of tiny streets and alleyways without a map. Always wondered if I hadn’t lived the lived there in another lifetime. Also very drawn to 17th century France and Venice.

    Very interesting Jessica since my father’s accident 2006 l have kind of taken over as head of the family organising and much service and lots of support to my children. I have Aquarius north node. I notice my north node is being activated at the moment. Do you think this is more to worldwide events or on a personal level ?
    Very many thanks l notice many of the financial predictions you made are being talked about. In the Uk it is said they are talking about a complete overhaul of everything due to the discontent of everyone working for less and less.

    1. Thank you. Yes, the financial psychic astrology predictions are coming to pass. Nothing will be complete until the final shock has passed in the last week of April and a crucial world economy compromise has been made in May. The West has allowed people to betray them for money and all of it has been part of the long cold war staged on us by the Kremlin. (But it doesn’t work.) You would be directly affected by world events with your Aquarius North Node as we have a global Pluto in Aquarius transit which is very much about the price of friendship, betrayal by false friends, the power of the group, peer group pressure and clubs – social circles – as well as social media. What happens to Jeffrey and Ghislaine’s circle by 2028 at the absolute latest will show you how it works as the traitors will themselves find treachery.     I hope you see this, as a follow up, I consider these karmic relationships. Also, my mom had me when she was 18, and we had the same node axis, one degree apart, hers at 3 and mine at 4. She had custody of me, raised me, I moved across the country with her, we traveled all over the world together, she converted from Catholic to Buddhist and I eventually did too, we had very much a similar direction in many aspects of life along our nodal axis signs. Her being so young and me being always more mature for my age, we were often perceived as sisters or siblings as you say about the sign Gemini where our north node is. We were very different in other ways but along the nodal axis and those signs, it was really locked in. Astrology is sometimes very literal, like a mirror. Thanks for your great work that helps us understand life better.

Your take is so interesting – that Libra would have been where I have been and might feel the territoty. Thanks for your direction. And I agree (after reading the comments) that people in my life that have planets on my Nodes figure large in my life chapters…I tend to not have them forever in my life though; it is as if they are there to formulate a chapter and thus when a page turns it can be the end of that set of experiences.     1. Thank you Cecelia. Libra-Aries is classically about both of the last world wars, purely because so many millions of people were involved in them. The need for closure for large soul groups after so much violence and suffering has been very great so an enormous number of people who are here today had their last incarnation in either or both wars. That is the Aries/Mars/First House side of your chart and so even as a child and teenager you may have felt a sense of familiarity about wearing a uniform, for example, or having an identity card or even a name tag. One either likes it or doesn’t. That says a lot about the last incarnation when of course you may have worn a cap, boots and carried crucial ID papers. Just as commonly we have people who were involved in either/both wars reincarnating to be with the person they could never be with (they were called up, or separated by conflict, or even suffered a loss). At least one partner in this lifetime would have been your sweetheart or spouse.

And I have always been fascinated by speech and words and languages.. even as a kid (before the era of internet / podcasts, I would pretend to be a news reader and read everything loud.. somehow that was the most fun activity as a kid for me. Last year, I finally rediscovered this and started doing audiobooks for fun. Wish I had done this long before.     1. Thank you. Cancer-Capricorn works in an endless loop. At birth, you were born into a family with some Cancer themes (matriarchy, home, home town, homeland, the family) and some Capricorn themes (patriarchy, success, status, ambition, the establishment). You will go between both ends of the spectrum depending on transits at the time. You obviously left home for work. You will leave work for home, if you have not already done so. Cancerians and Capricorns in your life can trigger the stories too.

What’s really interesting to me is that my North node is in Libra – My daughter is a Libra and her son, my grandson is an Aries which is my South node.     1. Yes, you were probably married to each other or at war with each other in the prior lifetime. We tend to reincarnate as a result of what we said or did close to death, or put into vows or legacies. Betrothal promises or even curses can show up in our karma. Your daughter and grandson are very likely part of a major story from the 1800s.

    1. Thank you. You have that Sagittarius-Gemini lunar node pattern, though in the Natural House system, the transit of the South Node in Virgo is through your Sixth House, not your Fourth House. Jupiter in Cancer is transiting your Fourth House, however, so you are exploring your family tree and ancestors and have found buried treasure. You have found the village where your people came from. You have Gemini-Sagittarius nodes and in fact were changed forever by Pluto in Sagittarius, in the years leading up to 2008. I believe jupiter was transiting capricorn in 2019-2020 when the pandemic started, and I lost my business due to the pandemic. Is there a connection with the north node in all of that?     1. It’s a pleasure. Happy International Astrology Day. Your North Node is in Capricorn in your Tenth House in the Natural House System, not the Sixth House. There is a difference as the Sixth House is workload and wellbeing; the Tenth House is success, ambition and status. I am sorry you lost your business in 2020. You have the North Node at 27 Capricorn and South Node at 27 Cancer. Jupiter did indeed move to 27 Capricorn in a conjunction with your North Node and opposition to your South Node. Saturn also moved to 27 Capricorn in the same year. The lunar nodes themselves moved to 27 Gemini and Sagittarius. So your home and family (Cancer) karma and career and success karma (Capricorn) were triggered by conflicting transits. 25. Hi. This is interesting. You mentioned Scorpio / Taurus in the podcast. I have the moon there with Taurus, but a little pile up in north node, Scorpio. Neptune, Psyche, Fortuna. I feel that I maybe living it again at bit, in part maybe, not sure. I can’t imagine exactly who or what I may have been. I could have been someone who had too much, or too little.     1. Very commonly, Aries-Libra is the war bride. So you may have been in a G.I. relationship. You certainly knew each other before. Find a year that lines up and see if you identify with that era. You can also come from a classic Juliet and Romeo background. Warring families in the light of love. Montagu and Capulet.

    I still don’t quite get it – so it’s not the whole head/tail, past/future, coming from/going to dynamic, but rather a circular, linked pattern?

    1. Thank you. The North Node and South Node are part of an eternal loop and when you are born, you start with the two-sign theme as a new baby. Capricorn is ambition, position, mission, the system, the establishment, patriarchy, social mountaineering, corporations, social strata and all pyramid hierarchies. Someone in your family represented that. Your father? Your grandfather? At the other end you had Cancer – matriarchy, the home, home town, homeland, roots, culture, heritage, history, family circle, family tree. Someone in your family represented that. Your mother? Grandmother? As you age, you go from one end of the loop to the other, depending on the transits. So you may leave home for the big city to make it. And when you’ve made it, you may find (for any reason) that yuo have to go back to where you came from. In this way you explore Capricorn and Cancer themes all your life. You chose to incarnate with them as you had explored them in your previous lives but never fully resolved them.

    1. Yes, it’s amazing how often in astrology people never actually look at charts! They read a theory in a book or on a website and it becomes the norm. I realised many years ago that the nodes are a loop. Just as you will see them on any astrolabe from the Middle Ages. The dragon’s head eats its tail and round it goes.

    1. Yes, you were born heading towards family karma having come from career karma, last time. Career can also mean status and success, in terms of marrying well, or being born into a particular class. You may have come from a background which was half working class, half middle class or upper middle class, for example. Or if you inspect the family tree may find a clear case of marrying up, or marrying above one’s station. Sometimes one rises through the ranks through sheer hard work. As a baby you were delivered into this karma.

Hi Jessica, this is so interesting to me because my North node is in 5° Gemini 45’48 R and I’m publishing a series of bilingual children’s books but I’ve been stalled for some or odd reason, does this mean that in my South Node, it’s not just for me but a more global children’s healing work?     1. You are a Gemini-Sagittarius node woman who is a bilingual author and publisher. You have stalled because the new technology, innovations and inventions have not arrived, that are meant to take the project in a different direction. That will happen at any point after the end of April and in fact it may be 2027, 2028 that allows you to see why fate decided you should pause. The law isn’t particularly Gemini-Sagittarius unless it is applied to foreigners or foreign countries. Of course one day that may be the case for you.

    1. Thank you, that’s very kind. Your son and his wife knew each other before and the closure now will be about having a child (or not). You also have Leo written in your chart as a signature. Jupiter and the South Node in Leo together, from July and August onwards, will change all your lives and of course the reason is the decision to have a baby; adopt; foster – or to take a different path. Should a child arrive he or she is very likely also a past life connection.

34. Hi Jessica, thank you for yet again another fascinating read. The years 2004-2008 I was told by 3 different psychics that this was my 4th time here on this earth. It was also stated that I was with the same man in two of those lifetimes. In 2001 I met him again, we both recognized each other and enjoyed our time immensely for 16 months or so.
    In 2007 I went back to school to become a medical massage practitioner and haven’t looked back. I am in my element when doing this work. I know without a doubt I am doing my Virgo N node 6th house function. I am a little muddled on my Pisces S node, could you please expand on this for me.

    1. Thank you. You are pursuing your Virgo North Node in the Sixth House of health and work as a medical massage practitioner. The Pisces South Node is about religion, the subconscious mind, spirituality, dreams, hypnosis, meditation and the inner life. It is also about therapy and counselling. You will typically begin life as a child with one node sign/house theme and then go to the other. Then it continues in a circuit. Conditions at birth can sometimes show you; for example if you were christened/baptised (or not) into a particular religion, or if you were born in a medical emergency; Pisces would be the former, Virgo would be the latter.

I believe we are karmically connected (it was fireworks from the get-go) and we love each other but we love getting on each other’s nerves as well. He’s been a mentor like I’ve been his teacher. I also am very intrigued by war news and am constantly flooding my family like a newscaster about factoids I’m picking up and noting the impact on other countries blah blah blah. The battle theme is on point.

    Interestingly, it is my now-preteen daughter who is a Libran who sometimes reveals aspects of my personality and how it informs my relationships. She openly discusses it with me and honestly, has been another teacher in my life.

    This article just put all of that in perspective. I see in my chart that I have Psyche and Chiron in the same degrees as my NN/SN. I also seem to have many factors 1 degree off from them as well. What does that suggest? Also, does the degree number (mine is 17) hold any significance as well? Born on the 26th of Dec, I can’t help but also see the life path 8 (numerology) showing up as well.

    1. Thank you, that’s very kind. You would have known your husband in your last incarnation, yes. The Libra South Node is the clue. Your preteen daughter is also likely to have been with you in your last life, if she has the Sun in Libra. Numerology has nothing to do with astrology, but the aspects involving Psyche and Chiron are important. Psyche lived forever; she is a symbol of what is eternal in the chart. Chiron is also a symbol of death-defying surgery. It is very likely that your own death last time/their deaths and what was promised or pledged is part of current karma.

    1. Thank you. How extraordinary that you researched witch trials then drew the Three of Cups in the Tarot as a comment on your nodes in Taurus and Scorpio. Scorpio is of course associated with sex, death and money and you have Mars there with the South Node. Bribery was often involved in witch trials as I am sure you know. Husbands also testified against wives. This is all the stuff of which Scorpio and the Eighth House are made. You may in fact find one of the dates in the tables correlates with a particular year in your research.

    1. Doing both ends of the nodal axis is a lifetime pursuit and you will find slow-moving outer planet transits to either node tend to pull you there (rather like a rubber band). If your Moon and South Node are both in the same sign and house that’s a fair indication of your last incarnation influencing your current life as a mother, stepmother, godmother or other maternal figure.

    I have a general comment about your daily horoscopes which often mention that life will look familiar as the one 18–19 years ago and that the closure is coming.
    That might be so, but it very much depends on what counts as closure. It might be more useful to take a look at several 18.5 year cycles.
    Taking myself as an example: 18.5 years ago I got my first management role in a small, failing company. I didn’t expect it and I didn’t want a full time management career. A few years before that I concluded: “If I don’t deal with management, then some manager is going to deal with me. Badly.”
    From my point of view, at the time, it was a pure self-defense from the world.
    18.5 years before that I was freshman at the University. At the time I concluded: “If I let myself into their hands they will make an idiot out of me.” So I didn’t. Again, pure self-defense from the world.
    The problem was that I went to engineering faculty, and I should have gone to (any) science. Those two are very different, but I didn’t know that at the time.
    Yet another 18.5 years back—that’s when I was born.
    So, currently, it seems to me that it has been enough of self-protection and a completely different strategy (personality, even?) is forming. Partly because I have nowhere left to run to. And it has been more than enough.
    But this isn’t apparent from looking at what was going on only 18.5 years ago.

    1. Yes, the transit of the lunar nodes comes up a lot in daily horoscopes, because by its nature, they repeat (rather like Groundhog Day, the Bill Murray film). These small details point to something far bigger, which is a recurring life theme You have found this going back in time to management/managers and university/authorities. 40. Hello Jessica, absolutely fascinating, thank you. I have become very curious about my past life/lives and my purpose in this one at a soul level. I have a friend who is a very talented medium, and I had already asked her to read for me at some point. I think I will go ahead and book that to find out more. Interesting what you say about being a leader or standing out in some way in a past life (I have North Node in Aquarius and South Node in Leo). When I was three, I apparently sat on my mum’s knee and told her in all seriousness that I thought I would make a great prime minister! Funny really, I don’t have a lot of time for modern politics and have a short fuse for performative sloganeering vs actually making a difference. Maybe there is a clue in there. Interestingly, I was once told I was distantly related to some prominent suffragettes, and I now live in an area that homed several eminent abolitionists in the 19th century. So you never know! I believe I have a past life or lives in the Middle East as my cat has said so during animal communication sessions, indeed I adopted her when I lived in Dubai. And I have never wanted children, I’m too old now but I was always terrified of the whole pregnancy and birth thing. Maybe there is a clue there too.     1. Too funny about your Leo-Aquarius nodes and your childhood belief that you would be a good Prime Minister. Your medium friend should enlighten you further. I would say terror of pregnancy and birth is a firm indicator of your Leo node in the Fifth House of babies. Of course it doesn’t necessarily signal problems with that last time as a given; the Fifth House can be easy or difficult, depending on the aspects. And travel I did…..my only child wants to move abroad in a few years after college. Likely the States because she wants to make lots of money…!     i recently had the opportunity to go back to school and get my Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters of function nutrition and MBA. i plan to start in May26 and it will take until December 2029 to complete.

Chiron is associated with chiropractors (the clue is in the name) and attempts to heal, often against all odds, are common with people who have exact Chiron aspects. Chiron is just one degree off an exact aspect to your North Node and South Node, so your previous lifetime was indeed spent teaching and studying healing – very possibly, what you are re-learning now. Moving is a different question, but it will work out very well for you, if you relocate at any point after June 30th when Jupiter is in your solar Fourth House of apartments and houses, right through to mid 2027.

We use different house systems so your North Node in Libra is in the Seventh House and your South Node in Aries is in your First House, using the Natural House approach. That is important because you also have transiting Saturn, Chiron and Neptune in Aries in the First House in 2026. Your last life was probably in the navy, army or air force – or if we are going a long way into the past, within a warring nation or tribe. From this you learned how to be on the front line of any situation. If your last life was in the last war, then identity papers and ID tags may have been central. In this lifetime, digital ID and the internet’s impact on your identity would be important too.

    1. Jaana, it is quite common to have the North Node in Cancer and South Node in Capricorn – but never feel completely at home. The lunar nodes work in opposition so there is always a pull away from – as well as a pull towards. If you picture Cancer the crab burrowing into the sand with its extended family circle, carrying its home on its back – you have one side of the story. The other side of the story is the ambitious mountain goat who starts at the foothills and carefully climbs her way to the towering peak, where there is only room for a select few. You are unlikely to ever satisfy the crab or the goat completely but that’s okay. All of us have lunar nodes we cannot fully reconcile.

My North Node is in Pisces- and right from an early age I was interested in spirituality and magic – but I have a strong aversion to CofE churches and services, even though I believe in God. And of course I’m more enraptured by the Old Testament than the new!

    1. It’s a pleasure. Actually your North Node is in Virgo and the opposite South Node is in Pisces. Your granddaughter’s North Node is in Pisces and her opposite South Node is in Virgo. You have been together before, very likely in a monastery or convent; perhaps in another religious order or spiritual organisation. Pisces the fishes remains a Christian symbol for the ages and in astrology it is associated with the traditional church, but also its alternatives, so Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism. It it possible you were both in Tibet, for example. Dreams often reveal it or particularly strong leanings and likes which have no rational explanation. Very commonly, Pisces-Virgo node combinations are about the healing function of the church, or particular religions, often at great risk to the person’s own health and sometimes their life. For whatever reason you two have agreed to be together again.

I have not been blessed with children in this life but have many wonderful godchildren so I have never been without young company. Lately I have been drawn to read many books on the ladies in waiting to Anne Boleyn as I have strong feelings in a past life I was part of her entourage. I had deja vue every time I go Hampton Court. I was also educated abroad at a French Speaking school. Strangely 12 years ago I had an accident and fractured my neck leaving me with ongoing neck problems. I now wonder if I may have been an unfortunate person in the time of Henry VIII to have been executed. Would you see any indications from my chart showing these feelings could be in any way accurate?

I always felt my birth country was too small and constricting and although I have lived in different countries and cities I immediately felt ‘at home’ when I arrived Australia, so perhaps I have lived here before. I worked in communication for years and then turned to writing so I can also see the Gemini influence at work. And I find foreign languages fascinating although I have to admit, definitely have no skill in learning and remembering them. I wish I did!     I apologize for another question. But what about lifetimes? I remember working with my Spiritual Teacher clearing soul records and we would talk to our clients about the lifetimes they have been on earth and other planets. I really feel like I’ve been to earth way to many times. How does astrology show how many times a person has been to this planet or other planets?

    Does astrology show other planets, other beings? Cause Lord knows we have lots of them now.

64. You’ve opened my eyes to seeing my nodes in a new way. I never looked at my Sagittarius NN and Gemini SN in their natural houses(9th and 3rd). Instead, I looked at my NN as being in the 4th house and my SN as being in the 10th. I also didn’t view my nodes as a loop and only looked at my NN as what to achieve in this life. What you say about Sagittarius NN has been true in my own life. I’ve always worked in education, mostly higher education, and many of my students come from outside the U.S. Travel and learning about other cultures have always inspired me. Although I did volunteer work in the UK for 6 months years ago, I’ve never lived in any other country besides the U.S. However, I’ve traveled extensively in the U.S. and lived in several cities (Boston, Miami, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Sacramento). I’d like to travel abroad and possibly move, but the travel situation at the moment seems uncertain and chaotic. Do you see me traveling and/or moving in the future? 66. Hi Jessica, my North Node is in Gemini and my past life says town crier, teacher & traveller.
    As a child i loved playing teachers -teacher imaginary games, my mom has been a kindergarden teacher for 19 years now retired. I never realised i liked teaching until i mentored few colleagues at work, i exactly know how to deliver what they want in the way they want.

    Lately i am between jobs, with my interest in project management and then there is this voice in me that wants to run a school, like these franchise ones. I have a neighbor who is doing it, that is the closest to someone i know who is doing it. I dont know what future holds though.

I have had two of my past life revealed to me not by any modalities its just popped up in 2009 in my day naps and that came in flashes and the third one was so real I was perspiring and woke up with a loud thud in my bedroom in broad daylight . I saw myself killed as a little girl by my that life dad (don’t know that person this life ) and saw my mom and older sister killed too and stuffed into the wall and that place is a place I feel very uneasy to travel to though a very popular destination in India though love the colours songs culture from that place and as a child I would draw motifs which was tradition from that place without knowing it was part of my souls journey . Another one was moving to London 2006 and then knowing I was moved here to face-off my past life enemy from many lives and that turned out to be my ex flatmate who also spookingly had many coincidences with me including moving to London from same place as me and also moved same date same year and same month and same time but never knew ever each other . I started getting messages signs and few mystical nudges to know its time to face-off a person who acts like a person who cares but was being brutal behind my back and this happened all in 2019 over a period of 7-8 months when a Reiki master who I was introduced to also mentioned the past life connection .if that wasn’t done I saw another vision an early morning dream in 2022 after working with my spiritual therapist and just out of the blue the person I met in London the guy I was feeling crazy connected and break up that disturbed me was actually my ex love interest from another life where I saw myself as a man and he was a lady and we both passed away in Hiroshima bombing and that pancake I saw in my vision which felt like a movie arrived at my place in London bang on his birthday last year .     1. Goodness, that’s a lot of past life recall. The North Node in Libra and South Node in Aries classically show a past life in the navy, army or air force. In other cultures and nationalities it may simply be about a military incarnation as Aries is ruled by Mars, the Roman god of war. At the other end we have Libra, which is about partnership and marriage and so the previous lifetime may involve two separated lovers, for example, or war brides. Your own interpretation is of course the key. The transits in Aries (Chiron, Saturn, Neptune) suggest familiar questions about your name, appearance, reputation – and partners. This unfolds over some years into the future. A typical concern would be retaining your maiden name versus taking on a marriage name.     1. Thank you. You have Minerva (wisdom) in Libra (the scales of justice) in the Seventh House – which is your job in the law. Minerva is symbolised by the owl in her hand. So your Aquarius-Leo nodes have nothing to do with that. However, they do show up as familiar issues about being in the group, with a leader – and being a leader, with a group.     1. You have that Libra-Aries South Node and North Node link to your partner through Venus, which rules Libra anyway. So the moment you two met it was all about past life karma.     1. The most important story here is the North Node entering Aquarius in July 2026, joining Pluto in Aquarius, triggering your children’s Aquarius-heavy horoscopes. The groups and circles they are most involved with, even if it’s just social media websites, will raise questions from 18-19 years ago for them, by the year 2027, reminding them that particular friendships or team, club, band (and so on) commitments involved spiritual debts and credits. They owe or are owed. There was never full closure. So a situation will arise one more time by 2027 which asks them to find the balance.

I find the nodes fascinating and I was interested to read your perspective regarding moving away from the well spread narrative to live out qualities of the north node and let go of qualities of the south node. My north node is in Virgo 11 degrees which is conjunct my husbands sun 15 degrees, mercury 10 degrees, venus 18 degrees, Saturn 16 degrees and his north node 8 degrees.
    His north node in Virgo 8 degrees is conjunct my Saturn in Virgo also 8 degrees. I’m guessing lessons for both of us?

    1. Virgo-Pisces synastry is common in partners who nursed each other last time, at considerable risk to their own lives. In modern astrology we use exact aspects (with no more than a one degree orb) so your North Node at 11 Virgo is in a conjunction with your husband’s Mercury at 10 Virgo. His North Node at 8 Virgo is in a conjunction with your Saturn at 8 Virgo. All this is in your shared Sixth House of daily workload and wellbeing. You both ‘live’ in the Sixth House together so there is a great concern with the bathroom and its contents (medicines, for example and the general business of daily cleanliness rituals) and the kitchen (from pantry to fridge, from food, to supplements to drink).     Thank you so much for such a fascinating post . I have my N node in 15 Sagittarius/ Gemini , also a stellium in Sagittarius. My daughter has N node 2 Aries / Libra (. I have the moon in 2 Libra ). MY husband has N node 9 Capricorn / Cancer ( I have 9 Capricorn in Salacia ). My son has N node 3 Taurus / 3 Scorpio ( I have 3 Taurus ascendant and 3 Scorpio descendant ). What do these matching degrees and signs mean please ?
    My Dad was in the armed forces before I was born , and he retired from them when I was 16 yrs old . So as a family we traveled every few years in this country and postings abroad. I had a Greek friend , we couldn’t speak each others language, we were 10 yrs old . She soon learnt English and I Greek , enough to get by and play together well . I loved French at school and would have liked to have learnt Italian .
    I felt I had experienced a former life , I was just relaxing and thinking that the new iron I had bought wasn’t as good as my old one. I then in my minds eye , felt myself in another body and looking down I wore a long skirt .( I knew my hair was long tied up ) I was ironing a thick white shirt , the iron was black flat and the handle was bound in white cotton on a table , there was another iron , exactly the same. That was heating on a big range in front of me. The iron handles had been covered so I didn’t burn myself . I just knew this with out questioning it , I felt quite content . Behind I knew was a door and two windows although I didn’t actually see them. There was a pewter jug on the mantle shelf .
    I also feel familiar with the Georgian times , I was born in Bath ( I have never lived there , but wondered if that has some connection). The 1920’s also feels familiar , as does the two world wars ( my Dad served in the Second World War ) . A part of me wonders whether that is having been a service child ? It’s as though I miss the community feeling , belonging and all pulling together of that era. I do sewing , embroidery, quilting , I am attracted to linens , ( I love the 1920’s + clothes ) cotton, lavender water , I feel at home watching films of those times etc.

Your family charts line up at the same degree as your own, so you have incarnated together to find closure with an unresolved issue from the last life. Your son’s concern with you is money or property. Your husband’s concern is property too. Your daughter is not involved in that pattern. You were probably in France together. 77. Hello Jessica, this has always fascinated me. My North Node is in Leo and my South Node is Aquarius. My father, brother and grandfather were all Leo’s. My grandfather passed when I was 3.5 and he is my first memories. I have issues with doing things only in three year time slots. I dated three men that all had February 17 birthday’s CC and married one of them. They all were used and I actually lost everything to the one I married.
    I was in a bad motorcycle accident in 2004, that I should have died. I went to a past life regressions who told me I was in a war dressed what was like the war of 1812, then a young boy on a farm, and a young woman but became too upset during the description. She told me I have always been alone in my past lives and struggled.
    I am alone once again and finally felt this last year I could breath after trying to recover from the loser who I married for the short 3 years and took everything g from me in 2002. Now with Trump, I’m scared, I have no retirement and will be 65 next year.
    I did meet two brothers that I felt a strong bond to and both agreed we all felt we knew each other long ago. I dated both at different times. I think we were in the war together. I really loved the one born January 18, 1969, but he had a controlling mother. Moms and me do not seem to do well. I’m nice to them too.
    I am trying to figure out my purpose this life and what I am suppose to have learned and what was I supposed to do or still do.
    I do not like being alone. I do not trust do have never let anyone back into my life.
    Last year I was successful at work and this year I have nothing.

    1. Purpose is an interesting question in astrology. Stelliums show it. You have the South Node in Aquarius and an Aquarius stellium. So your Eleventh House is central. Friends and groups. Never immersed in the circle but integral to it. You married an Aquarian. During the war you were in another group – your army unit or battalion.     1. The best analogy I can give you for Uranus is what actually happened to Caroline Herschel. She was her parents’ unpaid maid of all work in Germany. She was scarred by smallpox and no man wanted to marry her. She was also quite short. Her brother William felt sorry for her, so moved her into his house in Bath, England as his housekeeper. She immediately became his astronomy assistant instead and helped him make new kinds of telescopes. She was there when he found Uranus in their back garden. George III hired them both as his private astronomers. She became a famous comet finder. Uranus has ever since been associated with ‘The Shock of the New’ and your own path will be quite unpredictable thanks to inventions or innovations not dreamed of yet. Uranus transits are liberating. Caroline was set free from her parents and from the sexist expectations of the time. What happened to her was something no astrologer in the world could have ever forecast but it happened.

    1. Far more important than any of that is your Aries stellium in the First House of packaging, profile and presentation. Lauren, you now have transiting Saturn, Neptune and Chiron also in Aries, all passing through the First House for some time.     I love your article about North and South Nodes. Like many here, my North Node is in Cancer and my South Node is in Capricorn. I go back and forth when it comes to home and family. In many ways, I’m a loner. I do have friendships. Also, I like my career, but sometimes feel like I am going back to the beginning of where I left off in education. I don’t change working in higher education, but my career shifts from time to time. I like it because it gives me variety in my work.

    I was looking at my daughter’s chart. She is a Sagittarius. Her birthday is 11/30/1996. Her North Node is in Aries and her South Node is in Pisces. She has gone to school to be an esthetician, but has not been able to find work in that area. She is taking a class to be a pharmacy technician, so that she can get some type of established career. Is this a good move for her? I know that she loves the artistic side of being an esthetician, but she needs a career to be self-sustaining.

    1. Thank you Caroline. Your daughter’s North Node cannot be in Aries while her South Node is in Pisces. They will always be in opposite signs. Just knowing she is a Sun Sagittarius I can tell you that years of instability with work, study or unpaid work will stop in the final week of April when Uranus changes signs. A stuck situation affecting her ambitions will end in the final week of July. So 2026 is the turning point.

    Thank you so much for replying to me . I did as you suggested to ask to be shown an apartment or house in my dreams , central to one past life with my son and husband. I dreamt of being in a restaurant, the furniture was all scrubbed wood , very busy and full,of people . There were three waitresses , one in particular I watched putting on an apron. It had a high neckline , sleeveless , straight and came midcalf and just the ties were tied around the front ( they were very plain , no fills etc ) . I was a fourth waitress ! There was a type of scrubbed pale wood bar ( not like a pub ) , another lower wooden narrow part where the food would be put. I did see some glasses of wine . I feel this is to do with the money or property concern . I looked up the aprons on google , it came up with bungalow and hooverette style 1940’s , whether it is that era ?
    Funnily enough both my husband and I getting together in our late 30 ‘s , didn’t get anything from property etc in divorce, but just let it go. Nor did he inherit from his mother’s property, or grandparent . I did inherit from my family . My son has a house , he works very hard for a living , and enjoys his work .
    You also mentioned my daughter and I were probably in France together in a previous life, when she was born , I made sure her middle name was spelt the French way ! The one place she would like her and her family to go to, now they are able is France !

A Scorpio stellium and the South Node in Scorpio in your Eighth House tell you that your financial or real estate karma with partners or family members goes back at least one lifetime and maybe more. Whenever you deal with marriage and money, de facto relationships and houses or apartments, relatives and legacies – you meet the karma. So you knew at least one of these people before. Very commonly the karma is tied to the marriage vows in the last life. Until death do us part, for richer for poorer. They can also be tied to the terms of a will. You have had a rollercoaster ride with your karma 2018-2026 as Uranus has been in opposition, but you will have a far more predictable life budget after the final week of April 2026. Ongoing.

You have good karma from your last incarnation as an explorer, migrant, traveller as you are back here with not just your South Node in Sagittarius in the Ninth House of foreigners and foreign countries, but also Jupiter just one degree away in a conjunction. Jupiter is always your protection, blessing, safety net, luck factor and occasionally your big, big delivery of good fortune. Psyche close by suggests that what you do abroad or with foreigners, lives forever. Not only is it your good karma from the last life, it endures. It will pull in friends and groups. 89. Hi Jessica it seems the transiting nodes are currently giving me a grand cross pulling in my asc/dsc in sag/gem and venus in virgo. As mentioned elsewhere I have ongoing issues with neighbors/the flat (working on moving asap) and now two tricky health issues one of which came out of nowhere, though I suspect stress isn’t helping.     1. Neighbours are Gemini and your flat is Cancer. Health is Virgo. So those areas of your birth chart will show any challenges and when they stop/what to do. Cupido at 16 Gemini is exactly semi-sextile Mars at 16 Cancer. So you will find a solution and opportunity when Jupiter goes to 16 Cancer, which is April 5th to 15th. In fact, you will come to see this is the cloud with a silver lining. You have a stellium in Virgo at 2 through 29 degrees in your Sixth House of wellbeing and workload. I am wondering how does a ‘reversed nodal return’ or rather ‘inversed’ return play out in one’s life. My natal NN is in Leo and SN in Aquarius so the reverse of what is to come this year and I am just coming out of Uranus over my Sun period and am in the process of reinventing myself – revolutionary I might say. In this respect I am wondering if this cycle would help me integrate better my eternal internal conflict between collective and individual action, especially career wise. Living abroad anyhow for years by now, exited my previous high-stakes jobs, now changing jobs but have the feeling that there might be more changes in coming years since international relations are transforming profoundly.     1. People do find the North Node and South Node confusing, if they interpret them as ‘start’ and ‘end.’ In fact the start is the end is the start is the end! Leo-Aquarius is the same as Aquarius-Leo as they feed off each other and into each other. Even when they are under transit from the lunar nodes in those signs, it doesn’t really matter if it’s North Node or South Node, in conjunction or opposition with North Node or South Node. The great game is about leadership of the group. And also understanding that groups have their own shared leadership. Leo inclines towards being the captain. The leader of the circle, rather like the head teacher of a class. The Chief Operating Executive of the organisation. Aquarius believes in collective authority and very much in people power with its own momentum. Where one begins and the other starts depends on your choices at the time as well as the transits. So, for example, you can be captain of the fire brigade, but at the same time, take your place with the local community to oppose an unwanted property development. All of this will be evident to you when Jupiter goes into Leo from June and particularly when the lunar nodes are on that Leo-Aquarius axis from July. Claire, something has to give with your property, the area and life at home – and the final week of April will end years of instability, chopping and changing, sudden jolts and radical changes. This has been the case not only with your property but also with the household itself and the extended family circle. For whatever reason, from the end of April you can expect a far more predictable existence. By June there will be a compromise; an even split in the controls and an agreement to hold or share the reins very differently with your home and home life.

    Thank you as always for your generosity. I have been eagerly awaiting April forecast and gosh it certainly sounds punchy. I think ive most aspects and as a Cancer loads of planets in Aries. I am not sure where it will take me but am apprehensive and excited as not really felt Jupiter’s glow as yet.     So my NN is Pisces. I truly resonate a lot with this, not all, but a lot, in who I am, my belief systems, etc., in this lifetime. But what I really wanted to say, which I find absolutely crazy, is that the very first past life, 24 May 1001, time 11.04.04 is my exact birth time in this lifetime (not the date, just the time, bar the seconds, not sure on that). How crazy is that! If that really was a past lifetime for me, who knows what I did back then, haha, can’t really picture myself as a monk lol, but who knows right.

    1. Thank you Vicki. How peculiar that your exact birth time shows up for your first possible past life. This was well and truly the Middle Ages. The Islamic Golden Age (Pisces rules Christianity and its competing religions or beliefs). The Holy Roman Empire dominated Europe. You may have been in China or Japan, where again, spirituality dominated. The North Node in Pisces always feeds into the South Node in Virgo so for whatever reason, food, drink, fitness, illness, mental health, physical health, surgery, dentistry, healing – were part of your previous incarnation. You may have come back now to experience Covid-19 having already gone through a plague in the Middle Ages. That’s one example.

    1. Thanks Mary. Your North Node and South Node work in a constant loop from the time you are a child. You have the North Node at 9 Scorpio and South Node at 9 Taurus. Scorpio is about family relationships based on finance and real-estate and is normally about a will, legacy or inheritance. It can also be about parents funding children – and later in life – adult children funding parents. Scorpio is also about sexual and financial commitments; typically marriage and mortgage, but also de facto partnerships where a couple rents an apartment and shares possessions. Scorpio feeds into Taurus, which is about individual money and real estate; personal possessions, debts or savings. Taurus is also about values which translate into money. What one will refuse to sell one’s soul for. People or principles, properties, which are so precious they are priceless and can’t be bought or sold. So one situation in your life begets another. Your husband passing away sadly last year had nothing to do with your North Node and South Node, though. It was not a karmic debt or credit between you. Why? There were no cycles triggering your nodes. What did happen was your 23, 24, 28 Scorpio stellium being triggered. Same thing. Scorpio is classically marriage and mortgage. It is ‘for richer for poorer, until death do us part’ in the vow. Life insurance is part of that. So is taxation based on marital status. 98. A very illuminating essay thank you Jessica. My nodes are North Virgo (1960) and South Pisces. I read with great interest about the chambermaid/cleaning role which may have played out for me in a past life and has certainly been a prominent feature in this life. As a student and solo mother decades ago I often resorted to cleaning jobs for rich women to get extra money to buy food and pay the bills! Also my relationship with my own mother this lifetime has often been about having to clean her house (as she has aged over the past five years). I often cannot stand having to clean my own house or todo ironing and I can procrastinate for days, now I know why! So funny! I am also interested in anything medical, health, nutrition etc. I was going to be a doctor when I first went to university but got sidetracked into other careers. The medical career always felt like something I had done in a past life and a sense of familiarity. Also I always had a very strong vision that I was living in a grand household (Downton, Upstairs Downstairs, Remains of the Day) in one of my past lives. So interesting! Thank you!

You all wanted to come back to see what it was like to have microwaves, washing machines and…The Pill. You are really living out your Virgo North Node quite strongly in the Sixth House, but also because Pluto is there too. What compels us is always Pluto and it is also where we become empowered. You’ve been a char. You’ve also cleaned your mother’s home. You may in fact have known your mother before in a stately home or pile, with her upstairs and you downstairs.     Such a interesting article and I, like others here, had always thought SN was past, NN future, et., etc. But this explanation of infinity (figure 8) makes a lot of sense.
    I am Virgo NN (9th house) and Pisces SN (3rd house) and I have always had a strong sense that I’ve been a monk (or nun) as well as working in servitude (say, as a cleaning lady or maid of some sort). But, the Virgo NN also aligns with my sensibilities this life – my research/intellect/academia/foreign travel self where I feel happiest exploring ideas, cultures, countries, and often in older, established institutions and libraries – while my Pisces SN aligns with my almost hermit-like existence (beyond my workday and ‘projects’ life) where I am comfortable being alone but have also had this eternal struggle with belonging ‘in the world’, in a societal/family/relationship sense. I teeter between accepting and struggling to understand why this is so.
    A couple of other things, I have been a practicing yogi for several decades and this has ALWAYS made sense to me, and my body, like it has been something I’ve always done in this life and beyond, and also feel comfortable in understanding life through a spiritual lens. So, I think, both Virgo (body, health, systems, etc) and Pisces (feeling, spirit)?

    1. We use different house systems so your Virgo North Node is in your Sixth House of workload and wellbeing. Your Pisces South Node is in your Twelfth House of religion and its alternatives (like therapy or the Tarot). You were very likely a monk or nun, as your Pisces South Node shows. Your life as a hermit is also your Pisces node. You have done this before, probably when cloistered. Being a yogi is also pure Pisces. It ties into the Hindu belief system which is an alternative to Christianity, suggested by the fish of Pisces. All in all, you have come back to do what you did before! The exploration of ideas and countries is neither node but is probably Sagittarius in your chart, somewhere.

     1. You use a different house system to me. Your North Node and Jupiter are in Gemini in the Third House and your South Node is in Sagittarius in the Ninth House. Your King of Wands card in the Tarot shows this clearly. The King has ideas, projects, plans on paper or online (Gemini) and needs to move them abroad or export them across the web to make them work (Sagittarius). I can’t tell if you are male or female from your name, but if you are a woman, this is a man who needs to delegate to you and that would be your career. You would help or even substitute for him. If you are man, this is you and your career would clearly involve your way with words, images or ideas but you need to stop dithering and get on with it.

     1. Angie, partnerships are best analysed with natal charts, not solar charts. But yes, if you both had Jupiter and the North Node at 29 Capricorn, square your Libra Sun at 29 degrees, also picking up your South Node at 29 Cancer, you had a cardinal T-Square between you. You knew each other in your last incarnation, because your nodes were triggered by him. The Capricorn-Cancer-Libra T-Square is always about the inability to square one’s family (on either side) with ambition, success and status. It often turns up in class conflicts. Working class and middle class, or upper middle class differences. Capricorn climbs to get to the top of the system. Cancer is embedded in where he or she comes from. There is usually a mother issue on either side (Cancer) or a grandmother issue. Jupiter’s involvement was beneficial which you may see now – even though the actual T-Square was tense, tight, taught and tricky, tricky, tricky.

     Thank you so much for writing about the nodes. My nodal return is coming up soon and I’m grateful for the chance to learn about the nodes, a part of astrology I’ve been aware of, but didn’t know much about.

     My North Node in Aquarius (6th house) and South Node in Leo (12th house) are at 14 degrees. My North Node is conjunct Mars in Aquarius at 13 degrees. Cupido and Psyche are in Leo at 12 and 13 degrees. My nodes are tied to my family. My parents Sun signs are my Node signs. My Dad had Sun in Aquarius at 13 degrees and passed away during my first nodal return. He also had his Saturn, Uranus and Nodes at 13 degrees. During my second nodal return, I became very interested in genealogy. I didn’t know anything about my ancestors and now I have a family tree and more understanding about my roots. Looking at your node chart, I discovered my great grandparents had their nodes in Aquarius and Leo and they had significant life events occur during their nodal returns.

     Now I’m about to enter my third nodal return. When the nodes enter Aquarius and Leo in July, soon after, transiting Saturn in Aries will be at 13 and 14 degrees in my eighth house. I drew a tarot card for my nodal return. The Ten of Swords sounds challenging. I’m wondering if something difficult with family will come up again or will it be about some part of my life that needs an ending and a fresh start?

     1. Thank you. We use a different house system Cristina and you North Node is in your Eleventh House in Aquarius and your South Node is in Leo in your Fifth House. Cupido and Psyche are also in Leo in your Fifth House. Your great-grandparents also had their nodes in Leo and Aquarius. The Leo-Aquarius axis is always about leading, being an authority, being queen to a younger court (or king) – but also dealing with groups, the hive mind and the circle. It’s rather like King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Or, how did Monty Python cope with so many leading lights? If your great-grandparents were involved with the nqvy, army or air force then they would have experienced this through a unit, platoon, crew or similar – and the captain, for example. The Ten of Swords is about the group. A prone figure, ready to resurrect, is down for the count after a collective ousting. So your chart and Tarot agree. This has nothing to do with your family whatsoever.
