Uranus in your First House is the ongoing revolution that sets you free. The First House rules your appearance, image, reputation and public profile. It brings issues about your outer packaging or ‘advertising’ – how you present yourself to the world as well as the way you are seen. Cosmetic surgery, cosmetics, hair colour, photographs, promotion, advertising, business cards, clothes, accessories, branding and status symbols are just a few of the avenues which Uranus will work through now.

Neptune is the planet of unreality. It has nothing to do with what’s real, practical and everyday. But it has everything to do with what is a way out of the everyday and mundane. Your friends and groups are now the outlet. A vacation from reality, indeed. By itself, this is neither good nor bad for you, but you do need to look at the impact it is having on your life. As with all Neptune cycles, a trusted relative or partner who has a good merde detector can really help you now. It helps to pull back before you go in too deep, Gemini. Particularly on social media.

June 21 - July 22
You are still living with this radically different friendship, social media and group cycle daily. As with all Uranus cycles, do not push other people too fast or too far in terms of your own need for freedom at this time. You may believe you’re advancing the cause of progress, but unless you accurately assess how ready others are to change their position, you could find yourself staging an unpopular one-man or one-woman revolution with (say) the football team or X-Twitter. If you’re part of a bigger community or global change, however, your great leap forward will be easier. In fact, you may be on the edge of a collective, liberating revolution.

You can leave your old ambitions behind now as you take the Uranus cycle in your stride and use every opening to go to the next stage of your goals. The liberating kind. This cycle commonly affects your professional direction, and a change of job or industry is likely if your birth chart agrees. Or you may stick with your old career but radically switch roles or projects. This also applies to study or unpaid work like gardening, parenting and so on. Ambitions and goals do not have to relate to careers of course. This cycle will dramatically alter your path no matter if you are retired, jobless, studying or occupying a full-time role in the home.

Abroad or at home with other cultures or nationalities, an atmosphere of permanent uncertainty and instability prevails – but also a great deal of anticipation. You can go further towards freedom from or through foreigners faster and more easily if you allow the natural pace of change to develop, though. A radical, revolutionary time of progress is guaranteed by Uranus in Taurus. Nevertheless, if you storm the battlements, you may create resistance or even outright anarchy. Virgo, if you remove people too drastically from their comfort zone now, there will inevitably be a domino effect. I’m sure you know that based on 2018 – 2025!

This cycle will radically alter the state of play in your approach to the bank, your house, apartment, pension, superannuation, credit card, government benefits and so on. You already know what this cycle can do having seen it at large from 2018 – 2025. Firstly, you may be shaken and woken up by others who have their own ideas about what progress might mean with, say, a legacy or a mortgage. In turn, this disturbs your position. In fact, it can make it almost impossible to hang on to the way things used to be as well as the way you view your life budget. So, Libra, is this you who wants a revolution so you can break with the past and be free? You have until April 2026 to price what liberty is.

Interestingly, these kinds of disruptions with, from or for partners (of all kinds) are only a problem if you try to resist the obvious next move which is a step towards freedom or even a giant leap into the future of your own independence. Scorpio, you can be sure that trying to maintain your old situation will not work when Uranus is in Taurus. Uranus demands that you both go to the next level now. What shakes you up and wakes you up at this time may not be what you had planned or expected, but it will at least provide the momentum you need to have Independence Day by April 2026.

If Christmas showed you anything a month ago, it was how to avoid a power struggle. Pluto in Aquarius tends to bring on questions about who holds the reins, who has the controls or who is in charge. In your sector of brothers, sisters, cousins and neighbours, you undoubtedly saw some deep politics. You have now had time to adjust and adapt and figure out a strategy. Don’t let up. We are now in Aquarius season with the Sun there too. So, the more you observe and understand, the better your situation in terms of updating, researching and, yes, reshaping.

What if you feel held back by a child or by a romantic involvement? The more trapped you feel, the more likely you are to do something drastic. But make sure you understand the consequences if you suddenly decide to take on everything and everybody in your attempt to become a free agent. Of course, you can feel trapped by being child-free. So, not free at all. If you really are desperate for change as a parent, a prospective parent, a lover or a partner, then you may well succeed – and it may be a necessary thing. But judge the impact on other people carefully. This may be your son’s behaviour or the bedroom. Capricorn, you are free to choose.

Fortunately, in this cycle, Uranus has a strange way of providing natural openings for change within the household or family circle. Others will move on making it possible for you to do the same thing. By liberating themselves from the old way of seeing life – the old way of operating – those around you will make it possible for you to go ahead in leaps and bounds too. Much more progressive friendships and advanced kinds of kinship or domestic deals will be the likely outcome – the kind that actually make you feel you’re making real progress. By the time this cycle is over in April 2026, the past will seem so foreign.

February 19 - March 20
What you do in secret in these next few months will help you transform and find empowerment. The Twelfth House rules everything you plan in private. It may be Alcoholics Anonymous, a chakra workshop or the Anglican church. Whatever it may look like on the outside, your inner life could be dramatically different now. Empowerment, Pluto’s gift, is likely to happen in a locked room or an isolated place. You’ll hibernate now if you have to – or withdraw. You may consciously choose to do this by retreating from the outside world. It may happen to you through circumstances beyond your control. Self-control puts you in control. Your soul requires it.
