As you might expect, the Sun in Sagittarius is about exposure and illumination. This is useful when it passes through your finance and property zone. This can be an enlightening time in terms of your professional, platonic or personal partner. It’s rather like walking into a dark room at night and flicking the switch. Suddenly, everything is clearly there in front of you. This cycle in Sagittarius is neither good nor bad. It just lets you know that what was unseen before is now very clear.

Mercury is the Messenger of the Gods, and the Greeks knew him as Hermes. He’s retrograde or going backwards and forwards in your zone of the heart and a younger generation. Don’t be surprised if Mercury the Messenger turns up in your life now in sculptures, advertising brands or elsewhere. In her book Jung and Astrology, Maggie Hyde wrote about Carl Jung’s belief that archetypes (Mercury is an archetype) were at the heart of synchronicity. The kind that makes you change the way you think. Allow this process to be convoluted and complicated but know that it stops in December 2025.

July 23 - August 22
Mercury Retrograde now shows up in connection with your house, apartment, garden or land. He is back to normal in December 2025. Jung wrote, ‘By far the greatest number of spontaneous synchronistic phenomena that I have had occasion to observe and analyse can easily be shown to have a direct connection with an archetype.’ Mercury often announces himself. What is really interesting about Mercury in November is that you are going to see a flashback or replay to a story which was never really finished just a few weeks before.

Venus is the goddess of partnership, and she rules the Seventh House of duets, duels, double acts, pairs and couples in astrology. This is associated with the scales and usually represented by the scales of marriage and business partnership. The node here tells you to look at the issue of symmetry, harmony and equality between two people. The scales tell us that the substances are different, but they must be weighted evenly in order for balance to be achieved.
