Near April 2nd, 9th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th and 20th, you have the Sun, Mars, Neptune, Mercury, the New Moon and Saturn making aspects in Aries. The Sun in the First House in Aries brings the scorching self-analysis that comes when you ask yourself, “Who am I? What do people think of me? How do people really see me?”
The First House is about your name, face, reputation, image and appearance. It’s about your surface as opposed to your substance. When the Sun passes through this zone of your chart, it will single out and clearly pinpoint who you are at least as far as the rest of the world is concerned. It will show you very clearly and obviously how you’re seen. Even famous people become overexposed now. It’s like standing on an old Hollywood film set under a giant spotlight. This can be an amazingly illuminating and useful time. The Sun says, “How are you doing? How are you rating? How do you feel about the way other people view you?”
This is not a good time to work on your image, appearance, look, style or reputation. Neptune is confusing. There are no boundaries. Neptune is muddled. Saturn is really limiting. There is an escape from the real world and your real self here. A classic example is a digital twin or false name. Perhaps, dressing up as a woman (when you are a man) or having extreme cosmetic surgery, hair plugs and so on. Yet, the real world is very much here, Aries. Saturn says, “Once you’re in this, you’re in it until 2028.” So, take your time.
If you buy clothes now or arrange to be photographed, filmed or framed in the public eye you may find you are out of your depth but also heavily restricted. Even if you do nothing about a relaunch, self-promotion or publicity at this time, you can expect a series of signs, clues or events to bring you around to image issues.
Your logical mind will be focussed on your appearance, image, reputation and public profile now. You’ll be picking up lots of different facts, figures and soundbites from all kinds of sources (real people as well as the internet) as you tackle the issue of how you are seen in a logical way. You’ll sort out image-related issues on how well they ‘compute’ and ask lots of questions. This applies to your reputation, title, government ID, cosmetic dentistry, resumes, weight, YouTube and anything else which is about your surface rather than your substance. Magazines, newspapers, television, radio and Google will play an important part in the way you manage typical First House issues like your presentation or packaging.

From April 23rd–27th, 2026, Venus and Uranus are in Gemini. I have been talking about this cycle for quite some time, but now it’s here. The Third House rules brothers and sisters, neighbours, cousins, communication and short-haul travel (a quick plane trip, an overnight stay or a weekend car expedition). Finally, it rules the web and media.
That can sound like a mixed bag until you realise that as a child, you were on your bike or on the local bus with siblings or cousins nearby or living with you. At the same time, you were likely babysitting each other, watching radio and TV, reading and developing your communication with each other! As adults now, there are still familiar themes here about the web, maybe the media, the nature of the sibling or cousin relationship and the local, regional or neighbouring scene.
While the Sun passes through the Third House from late May to June 2026, it will shine a huge spotlight on all these areas of your life so you can judge them and make more radical decisions. I would expect the ‘What was that?’ shockwaves of late April to result in some calendar or diary dates in May and June when you really get to grips.
Uranus is the revolution that sets you and other people free. It takes great insight to appreciate how hidebound you are sometimes. It may be far more obvious to you that he, she or they are shackled on some level. Yet, in all cases, this is the sudden, wholly unexpected, overturning of the apple cart that begins the new journey.
Communication – your way with words and images, or ideas and messages – is your memo, speech, website, Substack, social media, statement, essay, academic paper, letter, meeting, postcard, song lyric, screenplay or just your voice in any medium. You may have had no idea just how restricted you were by the old internet, but who wants to be controlled by Zuckerberg, Bezos, Google and Musk? Too funny. Something really big is coming and the first signs are late April, Aries.
What kind of driver are you? What sort of tourist or traveller are you? How would you rate yourself on the road, in the air or on the water? All these questions matter more now because an important trip or an important transportation issue (car, bike, anything) is about to go to the top of your list. This (in the bag by July) will frame ‘the new getting around’ and it may be electric public transport, ditching the car or organising a new life in a neighbouring place, say, commuting NYLON or NY-LA.

That’s your Twelfth House of solitude and inner self. Your priest, perhaps, or your therapist. Your psychic or your own Tarot deck. On April 23rd-27th, Venus and Uranus are in Gemini and that’s a financial revolution. So, let’s start there.
Quoting Gil Scott-Heron here. But, of course, the financial, business and real estate revolution will very much be televised. Online and on the box. You will feel the ripple effect of what is unplugged, then plugged in with tariffs, share markets, cryptocurrency and the rest on April 23rd-27th, 2026. This is because Uranus leaves your Second House of money which is where your Sun in Taurus is. That’s big. It ends the 2018 – 2026 cycle of instability. Part of that has been Bitcoin. Another part has been Donald’s tariffs and taxes. I am writing this on the 27th of February 2026 and looking a fair way into the future. Yet you will be affected.
Taurus, your financial position, your salary, your money management, your assets (possessions or property) and your debts will be in sharp focus as the Sun in Gemini appears from late May to late June 2026. I believe those dates will come up in your planning once the world has turned upside-down in the final week of April. Your values will also be in the spotlight then. That means what you will and won’t sell out for and who (or what) you consider to be priceless. This time last year, you put certain things in motion where your finances, lifestyle, business interests, security, property or values were concerned. What happens now will either prove to you how prescient you were about your own independence or how out of touch you were with your soul’s very great need to be free.
Uranus transits in Gemini in your Second House (solar chart) now tally with the end of a Uranus transit in your natal Second House. Rare. It’s like stereo astrology. Publicly and privately, you will be asked to break with the past, snap some shackles and honour everybody else’s right to be free along with your own. With Uranus and your ruler Venus in the Second House too, it’s time to ask yourself if you can be too revolutionary about money matters or not revolutionary enough. April is about singling out the most important aspects of your financial, business and property world – looking at AI, in particular, and its impact on not just banking, but on wages, employment, job security, growth and so on.
Uranus is associated with enlightenment and also The Enlightenment. Your relationship with the bank, your personal economics and values (what you will sell out for and what you will not) and your relationship with business types is now paramount. Not just in late April, but for years into the future.
In July and August 2026, there will be useful, long overdue solutions and opportunities with real estate or renting. Jupiter is in your Fourth House. The Fourth House of your chart rules your home (typically, your house or flat, but sometimes your temporary accommodation). It also rules your family connected to any property (that means parents, siblings and relatives as well as partners and any children). Because ‘home’ often means flatmates/roommates to people, they will also be prominent in this cycle. And, of course, the place you think of as home can also mean the country you were born in or the country you live in now. In relation to all of the above, the Sun in July and August asks, “Are you proud of all this or not?”
You can put your home up for sale now and be thrilled to find it sets new records for property auctions in your street. Or you can open the cellar door one day and realise it could be your new Airbnb opportunity. If you have Cancer factors in your natal chart, then it looks as if the road from June into July, then onto August 2026 will see decisions about buying, selling, renovating, redecorating and so on.
You now have a caravan of planets and other factors in Aries (one sign behind you). Buddhism? Self-help? Medical or therapeutic care? Spiritual care? The Sun’s spotlight will swing on all the things you achieve privately or by yourself away from other people’s attention. The Sun in Aries now with other transits lights up anything and anybody you have been keeping to yourself, so that everyone else can see it. The Sun always ‘finds’ (like a laser beam) those aspects of yourself and your inner life which are outstanding and special. The bits and pieces in your personality and in your world which are characteristic and unique. The fact that it’s all under wraps is irrelevant. Now is the time for you to inspect your true, secret inner self. Phobias and channelling, hypnosis and religious conversion all belong to this transit. The subconscious mind is part of it.
You can feel exposed at this time – as if you’ve suddenly been made aware of everything that you’ve been covering up or even forgetting about yourself. The exposure is useful, though, as it will enable you to get in touch with who you really are when nobody else is around. What’s inside your clockwork? The world peers in now and says, “Ah! That’s who you really are. We always knew there was more to you than that.” Taurus, take your time as you get into uncharted waters. Go in slowly. You are in an odd cycle when there is an escape from the real world, but also a long waiting game with a great many restrictions. I can only liken it to going into a convent or monastery. The vacation from the every day is there but so is the heavy and binding ‘Deal with God.’ However this is showing up for you, make your decisions very cautiously as once you sign on the dotted line, you will find it hard to get out of.

That means the way you look as well as the way you project your name, your title and your public face. This is a liberating time to work on your image, appearance, look, style or reputation. You can expect to feel a much stronger, truer sense of how you want to be seen and who you really are in terms of your autonomy. So, anything that advertises or promotes you (a speech, a website, a job interview) and how you are physically. You’re facing such an unprecedented new phase now in terms of your appearance, image, reputation, public profile or look that it may help to dance in the storm. Do not resist the lightning bolts, try to use them. Tie a key on a string.
A new pathway will open up, and you can now put the past behind you and look forward to the future with many shackles broken. Nevertheless, your acute sense of your own history will help you make some liberating decisions now. Venus in Gemini in your First House suggests a complicated relationship will be part of the journey. The photographs, the painting of you, the film clips and so on – maybe the web niche bearing your name or the social media account – suggests near your birthday that all eyes are on you.

Speaking of bands and political parties (Beatles or Republicans – very different kettles of fish), April is also about your circle. If you are part of a group, club, team or fixed circle of friends, then you will find the usual chemistry between you will change in April so that you become much more aware of the ‘game’ that is being played. If, for any reason, a group involvement or a friendship makes you feel muddled, you need boundaries. Neptune often muddies the waters with people.
If you make a new friend this month – or join a new group of some kind – the people involved will accurately reflect what you want as well as what you need. An escape from reality. An alternative world. A vacation from what most people would call normal or regular. At the same time, go in slowly, Gemini. Once you are roped in, tied up or fenced in, there is no easy or fast way out. This is rather like finding yourself in some drunken Oxford circle with poetry books on hand, not to mention the total escapism of a friend’s country house – all the time realising he is a drunk, you are both secretly gay and once you’re ‘there’ with him, you’re there for years.
Your own story will be your own story. Do you have Aquarius factors? This friend or group is about power and control. It is about people politics. It will transform slowly over time. Again, be cautious about what you get into now. A friendship or group involvement (even on social media) really will change the state of play with your other friend and any overlapping group involvements or social networks. This is a seasonal change in astrology. It reminds you that that was then, and this is now and there is no going back. The way forward should now be clear.
This is so much more than the usual April round of parties, dinners, conferences, reunions or other social and group get-togethers. At least one person there could cause utter shambles as he or she has no boundaries. At its worst, this cycle can really confuse and be confusing long-term. This is a fascinating month with a revolution in the final week, Cancer. This is when the more you learn about your inner self, the more you will discover about your need to be free. Dreams, psychic experiences, therapy, meditation or ‘hibernation’ time can reveal a lot about what (or who) it takes to make you feel truly liberated. If you’re seeing a medium, psychologist or counsellor, it could be a real breakthrough period with a few shocks, so be aware of that. The more you observe and analyse, the more you’ll learn. If you have Pisces natal chart factors, this is all about life 18-19 years ago and the karmic pull on you now.
Cancer, you’ll feel as if someone’s just switched a light on somewhere deep inside you. You can truly know yourself now in a way that is not possible at other times. Mind, body and spirit will be united, helping you to locate who you really are and what you really want and need. Access this through religion, meditation, dreams, mediumship, your aura, chakras, hypnosis, psychic work or just time alone. Rejecting (say) religion or being rejected by (for example) your usual go-to psychiatrist or psychologist can be a revelation now. I have no idea what your chart looks like unless you are a Premium Member, but I would expect the last days of April to be the last thing you expected. Nobody else will know what’s going on unless you tell them. Nevertheless, you will need to give yourself a lot more time and space so you can sort this out.
I once worked on a TV series for Channel Ten in Australia and Channel Four in Great Britain called The Secret Life of Us (I co-wrote the Tarot episode). This month is actually about The Secret Life of You. The chances are high that you’ll take on new plans and new approaches which make a striking difference to your life. But guess what? Nobody will ever know the real hidden story. The Twelfth House is about your subconscious mind but also your spirituality. Right now, the landscape of this inner world is changing dramatically. It’s time to move on from the past and the more shackled you were by that past, the greater the shock when you realise the ties that bind (psychologically or spiritually) have snapped.
Be extremely careful with mediumship, tarot cards, channelling or any other sixth-sense activity at this time of the year if it ties you down, ties others up or is restrictive. I also think that witchcraft, wicca or just sloppy metaphysics (come on down New Age charlatans) is extremely risky now as Uranus in Gemini takes no prisoners. What you are about to experience is like a cross between the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution. All in the same week.
Uranus has zero tolerance for any situation, idea, person or belief which confines and holds back. That is why it’s a good idea to be consciously free before the transits begin. To be liberated and to liberate. Yet, even so, there will be rejection. Saying ‘No’ or hearing ‘No’ is part of the trip, Cancer.
This cycle is perfect for finding out everything you needed to know about your career, academic career or unpaid role but lacked the timing to ask. So, you may be researching a future job, analysing the consequences of retiring or resigning or just doing your homework on a boss, client, colleague or professional competitor. As Mercury is not the only planet in your Tenth House at this time, one historic issue which relates to your ambitions will now go to the top of your list and a lot of phone calls, questions, e-mails or website visits will follow.
This is probably the networking cycle for ambitious people. Keep every business card and reply to every e-mail. Information about your career or industry which is hard to get at other times will be parked right under your nose now. It is an excellent time to gather your sources and examine your options. This also applies to your other ambitions and goals if you are a student, unemployed, retired or have full-time home duties. Just keep the boundaries. Or reinstate them. A classic example is your son who will one day replace you as head of the firm. Or your wife who is your business partner.
Your most ambitious projects and plans can be thrown into chaos without boundaries during this cycle, so remember the lines that cannot be crossed when you write your resume, apply for a job, ask for a promotion, train for a new career or call a domestic summit. Can it wait? If you have a part-time or full-time job, the atmosphere will be so foggy at times that it may be hard to remember where you put your memo or your old clarity. Expect a lot of ‘news’ through the media about those projects, plans and goals which most concern you as well as your particular field, industry or workplace. There will also be quite a lot of gossip and debate, but this cycle is best used by standing well back, taking mental notes and waiting for the sea mist to clear.
Aquatic metaphors are appropriate for this transit. If you feel all at sea, drifting from your anchor, lost from your mooring – it has gone too far. Cancer, whatever you commit to and whomever you commit to, April reminds you that it’s here to stay. So, take your time. The ties that bind won’t come off until 2028 – one way or another. In the final week of April 2026, Venus and Uranus enter your Eleventh House and the revolution begins. You will be liberated by it. New friends who set you free will appear by July. Any old friend who restricts you or confines you may not last the distance or the friendship itself will be reformed. If you have Pluto in Aquarius, Leo, this transit will transform your life and power and control will be in the room.
If an old friend re-enters your life now, he or she will do so out of the blue. If you make a new friend at this time, this man or woman will also open up your world – either online or through a whole chain of invitations and introductions out of the blue. The Eleventh House is also about existing friends, of course, which might explain why that person who has been there forever suddenly goes to the top of your list as part of this general electrical storm and you find your friend is likely to make waves in your life now, too. A little bit of work on your part can trigger a new social life if you want it – or a new angle on the old one.
A group, club, team, organisation, association or social network will also take up your energy now. Even if you’re not a joiner (and can’t stand group dynamics), you will still find it hard not to cross paths with some kind of people-pack now. An issue will arise which involves a lot of rejection. Distancing – even outright rebellion or broken ties – suggest that some aspects of your social media, social life or groups were just too restrictive. Something or someone had to give. If you and your bridesmaids truly, deeply make a commitment to freedom, this will be an unprecedented wedding. Leo, you really need to approach friends or group commitments with your eyes open as they are a new freedom signal (and noise) and yet life with these people will never be predictable. If you join any kind of group now, it may not last, you may not last or it may not deliver what you expected. If you make a new friend now, he or she could be a complete Uranian and remain in your online address book for about as long as an electrical storm.
Leo, travel or travel in the mind is now on the agenda at historic levels. You know what you want now in terms of travel, academia, education, the world wide web or publishing. Perhaps, you have certain goals relating to people from other countries, regions or cultures. There’s no travel involved, but you need to pursue a specific ambition in relation to someone who seems foreign to you.
Your passport is now a person. But if ever there was a time to slow down and be cautious, Leo, it’s April 2026. The cycles are all pretty new. You just don’t have the experience with Neptune yet and could find a lack of boundaries leaves you floundering or out of your depth. You simply haven’t seen Saturn here for 28-29 years and if you are younger than that, you don’t even have a memory of what it was like. Destiny will shackle you now. Saturn shackles, restricts, binds and confines. So, be really aware of what or who you are up for. Go in slowly and carefully. Emigration is a classic example. Boundaries (capital B) will save you repeatedly on this Neptune cycle. Contain and control what is going on and do it repeatedly. Your challenge now is to keep your eyes on the prize, no matter which aspect of academia, education, publishing, travel or multicultural connections/long-distance connections it relates to. If you can do that while checking back with your fellow travellers every few minutes, you’ll stand a much better chance of getting what you want.
It’s rather like being Philby, Burgess and Maclean with the Kremlin. The escape from reality of being a Russian traitor is the long waiting game of exile. I am not for a moment suggesting that for you, but with Saturn and Neptune in your Ninth House, I should have thought that any holiday from the real world will also confine you until 2028 – one way or another.

The final week of April 2026 brings sudden and unexpected events which will turn your world upside-down with your career, unpaid role or academic career. As a result of this, you will break with the past and be liberated, Virgo. A new boss, colleague or client may enter your world, or you may enter a different phase of an existing relationship with an employer, co-worker or customer. That’s one example. Of course, people who are crucial to your ambitions and status can come from almost anywhere in your life. We may be talking about your husband or wife here if your job is your marriage. The nature of the relationship in all these cases is the same, though. It’s about your position, mission and ambition. Expect the wholly unexpected and try to commit to your own and others’ independence.
This cycle is not about slowly edging to where you need to be in terms of your autonomy and space. It is about going with the rush to freedom – rapidly. A short, sharp shock can be involved. A bit like a lightning bolt hitting the golf course. Astrology can be useful at such a time with your staff, colleagues, employers, professors, classmates and so on. The final week of April says a lot about what’s really important to the other person. So, if you can do a little light homework on this using your favourite astrology book, you’ll be well ahead. A Cancerian will want it from religion like the Church of England. Or even therapy. Perhaps, treatment for anxiety or depression. A Scorpio will want it with his charity, will, legacy or inheritance. A Leo will want it with her social life and friends. Organised groups she is involved with.
If you have a full-time or part-time job, a suddenly challenging yet exhilarating career issue will turn up now. Alternatively, it may be your boss, client, colleague or professional rival who starts the freedom ride. As with all Uranus transits, the things you do and say now are vital because they will have a domino effect on your career, your status and your success. I would expect this to peak in May/June 2026 when the Sun is also in your solar Tenth House.
As you were born with the Sun in Virgo – the sign of duty, service and daily details – in your natal Sixth House, you also have some karma to complete from life as it was 18-19 years ago. That stops in the final week of July, so that may also be in your calendar, Virgo.
The final week of April brings a domino effect around the workplace, around your community and even around the planet. My friend, the psychic Madalyn Aslan, has predicted a crossroads for Donald then. So, let’s see. If you are retired, have full-time home duties or are unemployed, Uranus in Gemini in your solar Tenth House will deliver the same scenario, but channelled through other areas of your life which relate to your role and your goals. Even if something (a new job, a professional coup or a union demonstration) is actually an excellent idea now, it’s important to try and understand what is unleashed. This planetary transit typically makes people feel as if everything has to happen now. Ask yourself is this is actually the case.
You also have a whopper of an Aries transit in your Eighth House now. Minor planet transits and historic outer planet transits too. Decision time. If you feel a lack of boundaries will lead you to make dubious decisions, ask yourself:
You need anything or anybody which can contain and control the tides. A lighthouse and anchor, so to speak. You are also going into this with heavy restrictions, binding conditions and a long-term waiting game as the situation will not release you until early 2028. A classic example is an ever-shifting interest rate loan with your husband which gives you an escape from the real estate or financial reality but limits you for the next 2-3 years.
Do you have Taurus factors, Virgo? The final week of April is clearly a huge, unplugged concert. Something or someone is out then. Gone. It affected you and the rest of the world, economically, for years. I would say that also has a major impact on your decisions for the entire month. Easter eggs in the shops; nest eggs under inspection.
Your old way of earning, saving, investing or managing money will be left far behind in this cycle as more unusual and complex possibilities open up. In fact, by the time this cycle is over, you could be on your way to dramatically different business, property or financial possibilities. I would expect a family member, partner or a former partner to be involved. The Eighth House transits of these Aries factors are classically complicated, intense and heavily emotional. This cycle can only happen rarely, and April really is a milestone. Approach it cautiously, ask around, have a map and understand the rest of the journey is in years not miles, Virgo.

A high percentage of Librans will emigrate or travel in radical new directions by 2027. You may also find foreigners at home set you free. Your final week of April 2026 could be your passport to a more liberating and liberated world this year. Alternatively, your relationship with foreigners will offer you much more scope for space. A foreign language class could do it. So could export. International students.
Are you going from London to Dublin or from Melbourne to Auckland? It’s all foreign. The important thing to remember is it’s the ‘getting away’ intellectually, that’s the thing. So, a car trip to Glastonbury from Manchester with some Italian Supergrass fans can be just as life changing as a cruise from New York to Spain. These journeys I see in your future will introduce you to people, ideas and concepts which are so foreign to you that you may feel radically challenged and underprepared. It doesn’t matter. Of course, you can stay at home if you want, but you will not get a chance like this again for years. You will be set free (more than you ever imagined) through your getaways now. Something as apparently simple as a weekend foreign cooking workshop in the next town could spin your whole world on its axis in the best possible way.
