Jessica Adams has prepared your monthly astrological forecast for August. Discover what the stars have in store for you this month including your Premium Extended Forecast
Aries – The focus this month is on your First House (Aries) and Third House (Gemini). You have Saturn and Neptune in Aries in your First House of image, branding, appearances and reputation. You have Uranus in Gemini in your Third House of brothers, sisters, cousins, neighbours, neighbouring places, communication, the media, publishing, education and academia. This month is about Facebook, X-Twitter, YouTube, Substack, Bluesky and Instagram for you. It may be about a new job title, qualifications, business cards or name tag.
You can personalise this reading by using the Smith-Waite Tarot and The Modern I Ching on my website here if you wish.
This month is possibly about Artificial Intelligence as well and its impact on your name or the world of fake identities, ID cards and virtual spaces for faux humans. These are historic transits, so this is not about changing your name so that you can post anonymously on a website. This is something bigger than all of us and very much involves the new technology as well as the inevitable overhaul of services provided by the American monopolies of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk.
When you have transits from the First House to the Third House, you tend to find your cameo or portrait is etched or painted alongside that of your brother, sister or cousin. Gemini rules the Third House of your chart, and it is associated with Castor and Pollux (the brothers who had to be apart as they were together). It’s very much about ‘car as an image’ if you even subscribe to that. So, perhaps, this is the month that your Mini or your new electric car says it all about you. Perhaps, your yacht as the Third is not just about cars, it is also about boats and bicycles too. Some of you will buy a bicycle to get fit (the transport affects the image).
Extending this, the First House (externals) and the Third House (communication), of course, covers how you articulate your views to the media and the way in which you speak, write and handle a microphone or telephone. Buying a new iPhone means rebadging yourself. Aries has this reputation for being front-and-centre, upfront and never backwards and about coming forwards. Quite true. You are the gladiator and the lone figure who represents something greater than herself or himself. What that ‘something’ is will be evident in August.
If you have a stellium in Aries, then narcissism and ego are genuine concerns as it so frequently is all about you! Yet others cannot deny that there is something admirable about the person who always strides to the front and is on the front line. Some of you will start a podcast, a talk show on television or find your artwork on a postage stamp with your signature. It’s that kind of month.

Taurus – The focus this month is on your Twelfth House (Aries) and Second House (Gemini). The Twelfth is solitary, spiritual, psychic and/or psychological. If you have Pisces natal chart factors, this introverted, soul-searching month is twice as important. It defines you.
As you were born with the Sun in Taurus in the Second House of money, property, valuables and values (ranging from philanthropy to capitalism), you are also having a major shift away from the years of uncertainty that accompanied you from 2018. Uranus is out of Taurus. Your life budget is no longer subject to the swings and roundabouts. At least until November 2025.
Saturn is about a test of patience (‘This too shall pass’) and what/who presses in. What squeezes or pushes inward. Having this planet in your sector of God (or not God), Tarot, therapy, hypnosis and the like is something that only happens every 28-29 years. That might explain a few things about being a Hindu, Pentecostalist or firmly rejecting the same in favour of Jung or oracle cards.
It would be tempting to respond to the constriction and tests of August by wholly escaping from the real world and entering into a different dimension altogether. Denial is a form of escapism. So are substances from wine to cannabis. It really depends on what you choose. And there’s the rub. You can either choose something pretty common and generally helpful (meditation or weekend naps) or go plunging into an alternative space in your life which you know is a bad idea.
Occasionally, you have Saturn in the Twelfth House coinciding with depression or anxiety – in which case the escapism of a one-hour walk every day is clinically recommended. You might also dig down deeper to find out what ails your soul. The Twelfth is about your inner life. With Neptune there too, you are in the rather odd position of having the realities at the same time as the evident non-reality. The choices you face now are historic and unusual. Take your time as you decide because a Saturn transit tends to be hard to escape once you have made the commitment.
Talk to an Aries about this transit which lasts until 2033. It is in sharp focus in August because of quite an unusual pattern in your chart. It’s actually the start of of public uncertainty and quite visible instability about your finances at the same time that you privately experience the end of not knowing!
It’s odd. You are so well-known for your values – be they integrity, selling out, fundraising, Wall Street Wolverine tactics. And you have been through many years of upheavals and revolutionary change. Now, at least to your eyes, it’s finished. Oh, it might return in November 2025 – April 2026. But, for the most part, you can look at late-2026, 2027, 2028 and beyond and see a finishing line for constant change.
So that’s your private life. The departure of Uranus from your natal Second House in July 2025 was the end of the brace position for whatever reason. Now, a different sort of cycle begins in which Uranus in your solar Second House (until 2033) that suggests every radical about-face will be seen by others. There will be one available to you now. It will involve rejecting them, him, her, that or this. That choice is likely bound up with a feeling of being rejected yourself!
Even when the world flips – if you flip with it, you will find yourself in a brand-new fiscal experiment which liberates and exhilarates. You can’t buy freedom at Sotheby’s. Uranus in Gemini will bring about the last thing you expected with your bank account, real estate, home, possessions.

Gemini – The focus this month is on your First House (Gemini) and Eleventh House (Aries). Some of you will become the spokesperson, face or front man/front woman for a group in August 2025. This is more likely if you have natal chart factors in both Aries and Gemini. Of course, your Sun is already there in the Third House of social media, websites, the media, speechmaking, newsletters and the like. This is a soapbox month if you are inclined towards groups. This applies to trade unions, book clubs, secret societies, rock bands and so on.
If you do have Aries factors, then Saturn and Neptune suggest that you are feeling the restrictions and limitations of your face, name, identity and profile at the same time that you can see a way to escape. A very common example is feeling hidebound by the profiling of A.I. and Google (those American behemoths) but knowing you can be somebody else on a website which allows pen names. “On the internet, nobody knows you’re a dog” to quote Larsen.
You were born with the Sun in Gemini in the Third House, so your language development is tied to your sister, brother and/or cousin and, perhaps, your neighbours. Later on in life, this changes to the internet and, particularly, social media sites which involve local people or the region (and region adjacent). You all have the same accent after all.
Uranus transiting your natal Third House suggests that new inventions will set you free online. Artificial Intelligence is woeful in its current form. So inaccurate it gets Elon Musk’s Sun Sign wrong (thank you Grok) and unethical to the point where authors like me are involved in major campaigns against the piracy (thank you Mark Zuckerberg).
This month your sibling or cousin may be more important than usual as Uranus in Gemini transits your natal Third House. In your solar chart, we are also seeing the end of Mercury Retrograde in your Third House. So, as September 2025 draws closer, an inconclusive, delayed and fluctuating situation with this person also ends. You know where you are.
Should you have been born in late May, your very identity is tied to a brother, sister, cousin, neighbour. Uranus in a conjunction with your natal Sun (or fast approaching) will suddenly deliver the last thing you anticipated and will act as a necessary release. The start of something quite, quite new.
Groups, friends, allies and amigos are now where you find a test of your patience. Saturn in Aries is restricting you and limiting your options, Gemini. At the same time, you have Neptune in Aries offering you an escape with zero boundaries at all. It’s an odd situation – like being offered access to a private beach surrounded by prison walls. Managing that will take up time and energy. It can also show up as social life and social media ‘gating’ or suppression which inspires you to take both feet off the ground and evade it altogether. In other words, friendship or group involvement feels so heavy (like lead, Saturn’s metal) that you are inspired to deny it’s even there and look for a way out instead.

Cancer – The focus this month is on your Twelfth House (Gemini) and Tenth House (Aries). There is a revolution taking place when you are alone which nobody except a therapist, psychic, rabbi, medium, nun, dream counsellor could appreciate. You may not have a confidante at all, Cancer. This is very much about your soul, spirit or psychology. A doctor may be involved (for example) although it is just as common to find a self-help book on your bedside table.
Uranus in Gemini is very new, very different and suggests quite radical changes on the inside in August 2025. Spiritual, psychic or psychological progress is guaranteed when Uranus moves through your chart as life will continually shift and change around you – creating the kind of forward momentum that makes it impossible for you to remain stuck where you were, Cancer.
This planet asks you to keep moving – usually because of larger global trends or major social changes which are happening around you. And if you stubbornly refuse? You will only be able to hang on to your old life for so long before you may find yourself either stranded, stuck and left behind – or even shocked by destiny which can no longer wait for you to move on. This may be the ‘religious’ wars taking place in Gaza or Ukraine which are turning some people off. It may be the arrival of psychedelics for depression. All of this is Twelfth House territory. How will you be affected?
Thanks to the North Node in Pisces and the end of Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, we are seeing new trends with religion, psychic life, hypnosis, meditation and anonymous online blogging. Again, all the Twelfth House concerns showing up on a YouTube channel near you. If enough other people also share your concerns, you may all find that you move forward together, breaking free of your old lives and forcing a massive chain reaction of change.
Cancer, what else is going on? Uranus in Gemini in your solar Twelfth may be matched by transits in Pisces in your natal Twelfth if you also have Pisces factors. If so, I would characterise 2024, 2025 and 2026 as three years of ‘Goodbye and Hello’ in terms of closing one chapter of your life and starting another.
It’s highly unusual to have both Saturn and Neptune transiting Aries and your Tenth House of success, ambition, position and mission. This classically manifests as a feeling of heavy restriction which you counter with escapism. The job that presses in or the course that locks you in with the resultant denial of the same and a plunge into sleep, drugs, alcohol or internet ‘vacationing’ from the real world. Just as common is a calling in life which bears very little resemblance to the everyday world (try being an influencer or an actor for a start). But for all its inherent escapism, it still surrounds you with walls, fences, gates and locks. Things come to a pretty pass in August 2025 because of outer planet aspects. So, Cancer, you have some decisions to make.
If you are accepting a new position, then you need to box clever. Carefully check the fine print on the contract and arm yourself with as many facts as you can – not only about your employers, but also about the state of your business/industry. You must now inform yourself, educate yourself and update yourself as much as you can about the work that you do or the position you’re about to take. If you don’t, you could be setting up some testing situations later.
The same advice applies to any new project, special work plan or new role you take up while this cycle operates. Knowledge is your greatest defence at this time. Whenever Saturn is in the Tenth House, you need to do your homework. The more you can live in the real world about the particular profession or position you’re choosing, the better off you will be.
Ask the sign just before yours about this cycle. They had it before you for around two years of their life. What happened? What did they learn? Gemini people (for example) may tell you about heavily demanding timetables or highly political situations at work which were impossible to escape. If you don’t work (you’re married to the breadwinner or you’re retired/jobless with quite a different set of ambitions and goals), then this general outcome as written above will affect your overall status and mission. So, you may be Prince William inheriting the throne.
As I’ve mentioned, the dual transit of Neptune and Saturn in the Tenth commonly results in ‘outlet’ existence with status, roles and goals that has nothing to do with the real world yet feels tightly constrained. The other classic outcome is an onerous career, course or unpaid work (being a carer, for example) and the resultant need to get out of it – literally, perhaps, in the sense that Australians describe drugs or alcohol as ‘getting out of it.’ However you are juggling this, there are answers in August 2025. This is all very new, so you need tactics and strategies.

Leo – The focus this month is on your Eleventh House (Gemini) and Ninth House (Aries). So, the royal court with all its jesters, ladies-in-waiting and various Frances Drakes and Walter Raleighs. Equally, the need to entertain foreigners, conquer distant lands and perhaps, do a Charles and write your own book (despite the crown).
Uranus liberates and exhilarates if you’re doing it right. So, friendships, alliances, communities and sisterhoods/brotherhoods may unshackle you in August 2025. You have some historic outer planet transits to your Eleventh. Do you have Aquarius natal factors? Your natal Eleventh is also under quite transformative transits. If January/February 2026 turns up in your diary, then next year will change your social life.
Of course, August is the focus now and whatever your natal looks like, Uranus in the Eleventh House is Independence Day in your social life and on social media. Uranus is ‘freedom from’ (insert names here) or ‘freedom through’ (insert names here). Groups which pursue freedom and independence can be political in nature for obvious reasons, but your court may exist for apolitical reasons which have nothing to do with noble goals and everything to do with feeling emotionally unshackled. Punk rock was like that.
This transit can make it almost impossible to hang on to the way things used to be as well as the way you view your place in the group or with a particular friend. Shock is common. What happens out of the blue comes as a release. Everything in your social life or the friendship is utterly different afterwards. A new world.
Uranus demands that everyone goes to a different place socially now – including you. What shakes you up and wakes you up at this time may not be what you had planned or expected, but it will at least provide the momentum you need together with the opportunity to extend freedom and seek it too. Uranus transits release everybody.
What if you feel held back by a friend or by a group involvement? The more trapped you feel, the more likely you are to do something drastic. But make sure you understand the consequences if you suddenly decide to take on everything and everybody in your attempt to become a free agent. This may be the Democrats if you are Clinton or Obama. It may be the Spice Girls if you are Geri. Equally, Uranus is so unusual that rebooting, reforming or rejoining the old group can be a revolutionary act. That old Epstein address book. That old political hierarchy. That group with the big platform shoes.
Much more progressive friendships and advanced kinds of group involvements will be the likely outcome in August – the kind that actually make you feel you’re shearing away the past. By the time this cycle is over, no matter if this is about an astrology group, political party, rock band, football team or a tight circle of old friends, you should be much further along. Space, the final frontier?
If you do have Aquarius natal factors, then there will be issues about power and control. How to share it. How to compromise. How to divide time and energy or turf and territory. As I’ve mentioned, this will come to a head in early 2026.
The Ninth House transits of Neptune and Saturn in Aries are already showing up in Leo lives. Barred from entering America by fear of Donald’s database (a big clap for AI), Leo travellers are escaping by vicarious armchair travel instead by trotting along to YouTube videos about Texas. Saturn is ring-fenced, heavy, inescapable situations.
The Ninth is foreigners and foreign countries. Neptune is the great escape from reality and the total loss of boundaries. Put them together in the Ninth and you have real choices here about tourism, travel, emigration, immigrants, export, bilingual discussion, translation, foreign publishing, the ‘world’ part of the worldwide web, international students and the like. There are often overlaps with the book world and academia on this transit.
I mentioned the first manifestation of this dual transit earlier. Restrictions, limitations, entrapment and tests of patience are countered with complete denial or total escapism. If you are enrolled at a foreign university and can’t get out of the course, you may counter this by losing yourself in audiobooks about elves when you should be studying.
The other common outcome of this dual transit is actually opting for something which is an outlet – a Never Never Land of endless vacations from reality – only to find that this also comes with high walls, locked gates and no escape despite the escape it paradoxically supplies. You’ve not had this transit very long and it comes to a head in August. So, if you have been muddling through, it may be time to make a choice instead.

Virgo – The focus this month is on your Tenth House (Gemini) and Eighth House (Aries). So, your vocation and your finances. Your career and your house. Your course and your apartment. Your unpaid role and your business interests. Uranus in Gemini does rather suggest a revolutionary departure from the way things were earlier this year and in 2023/2024 and so on. It can be the revolution that sets you and others free if you choose. Commonsense says there is a connection between your income and what you do with your life, but there may be two separate stories going on here. One may directly concern your position and ambition (in which case freedom will find you) and another (quite distinct from this) may concern your wife and her money (say) or your father and a legacy (for example).
This dual transit of Neptune and Saturn in Aries in your solar Eighth House is rather like owning an Antiques Roadshow heirloom and never being able to sell it. The escape from fiscal reality and the heavy reality of the escape! This transit is new and historic and does not come with an instruction book. So, you have to manufacture your own response and also know that your career, course or unpaid calling is so unpredictable that you have to factor that in as well. The last thing you expected to happen is the first thing that will happen – professionally, academically or in your unpaid role, Virgo. Uranus in Gemini is like that.
But back to money and the material. This intricately involves your partner and/or a family member. Do you have Taurus factors? Scorpio factors? Cancer factors? If you have natal Taurus and/or Cancer/Scorpio factors, then the road to November 2025 is as predictable as it used to be before 2018 when everything started to become blockchain levels of strange. Uranus is out of Taurus. Gone from your Second and no longer opposing your Eighth. Jupiter is in Cancer. Globally, there is a dramatic rise and fall in property prices going on, enabling a worldwide real estate shift to your advantage if you do have Cancer factors.
Saturn and Neptune in the Eighth will commonly concern a rented apartment, a de facto partnership, marriage, mortgage, a husband-wife business or charity, an inheritance you leave or a will where you stand to inherit. If you do have Scorpio factors, this becomes twice as important. If so, you have two distinct phases. Now through November 2025 when what was never certain becomes much more so. Then from November 2025 to April 2026 when the usual storms return but with an end point of Easter next year. Then…gone forever.
Whatever your birth chart looks like, you still need tried, tested and trusted advice from an accountant or financial whizz to help you deal with the heavy, ring-fenced waiting game (Saturn) and the utterly unreal alternative of Neptune. Property prices are Neptune. They ebb and flow with the tides and the horizon is an illusion. If you do have Cancer factors in your chart, this is likely to be the main story and expertise could be useful. Find a way out of the real world that you can treat as a vacation from the usual numbers, but accept it will come with rules, deadlines, restrictions and waiting games.
I am increasingly avoiding mainstream, bland, Americanese when writing about astrology as the rip-off and theft by A.I. is so blatant. They do like to rob me blind if the words I use are palatable to the masses. That’s not you or you would not be here. So, just for you, I would describe the revolution taking place in your solar Tenth House as unavoidable and inevitable with its own Storming of the Bastille moment and certainly its own Boston Tea Party. You’re back there in 1781 or thereabouts.
It will feel very new. You’ve not had this transit in your adult life. It doesn’t happen all at once and certainly not in August, Virgo. You have until 2033 to see the full implications. A side hustle can become the main hustle if you find it liberating and exhilarating enough. You can walk out of a job or see somebody who was supposed to be the boss go out of the picture. All of that. The aforementioned A.I. is taking work away from millions and is an existential threat to many industries including astrology. That has to break at some point. You may see it break now or later but it’s coming.
Shocks in the industry, business or profession are common. The shock of (insert event here) forces you to completely change the way you work and also the way you define success. ‘With a rebel yell’ according to Mr. Idol. You do get rebellion in the ranks on this transit, but it can be against you as well as by you.
The Romans defined Uranus after the Greeks and turned him into a Was (Not Was) anthem. Woodwork squeaks and out come the freaks. I daresay August 2025 will be one big squeak but there will be more by 2033. Uranus is invention. There will be new inventions, new technology and innovations not yet imagined. It will directly affect your profession and, perhaps, another you choose.
The release of people and organisations from entrapment is a characteristic of any Uranus transit. People are reborn or just born – Venus was born from sea foam. (You don’t want to know the foam emerged, trust me). The thing about August is that none of this may last. Strange, but true. If at any point the ‘new, different, new, different’ becomes restrictive with Uranus in your Tenth, it is highly unlikely it will last.
You also have karma from 18-19 years ago to accept, Virgo, with your work, course or unpaid work. The South Node in Virgo is transiting your natal Sixth of service and duty and if it didn’t already land on your Sun, it will do so by 2026. So, there is déjà vu here. You are owed or you owe. Karmically.
Premium? Go on.

Libra – The focus this month is on your Ninth House (Gemini) and Seventh House (Aries). I’ll look at the Seventh first, because your Sun is there natally so your visibility in the world is defined by your partners as well as your opponents.
You were born with the Sun in Libra in the Seventh, so at your brilliant best, you shine in partnerships of all kinds where you are different to each other but equal. The scales. You can feel exposed and scrutinised if these fail. I have a list a mile long of Sun in Libra people who did both from Oscar Wilde and Constance Wilde and Bosie Douglas to Bob Geldof and the late, great Paula Yates. (I knew her, Horatio). The Duchess of York, who once asked me for a reading has it – Prince Andrew is her Neptune transit.
Here you are in August 2025 with Saturn and Neptune both transiting your Seventh in your solar chart and approaching a conjunction with your Sun in your natal chart. That either just happened (if you were born in September) or is going to happen in the next few years. So, this is personal. The duets or duels you are defined by visibly and always publicly (no private life for you) are in the frame. Neptune brings a non-reality and unreality with it, so you escape into the feud or the double act pursuing it the way swimmers pursue the horizon at sea. Endlessly and without any possible outcome because it is illusory. Just be aware of that before you go wading into any legal battle, Libra. External advice from the tried, tested and trusted is an excellent idea, particularly, if given free of charge.
Equally, you can fall in love with somebody who is never even going to hold your hand. Neptune is the alternative to the mundane reality of many years of marriage. This transit takes many forms. Talk to a Virgo. You can lose your husband and still talk about him daily as if he was there. And to him.
Saturn is here too, not just Neptune. So, along with the other world tied to this person on the other end of the scales (real to those who inhabit it and a mystery to those who do not), you have a waiting game. Saturn always brings a waiting game. It is associated with clocks. The Greek forerunner was Chronos/Kronos from which we have ‘chronic’ and so there can be chronological order here, but it takes a very, very long time.
August is a good month to ask other people about your dispute or your double act. Whatever and whomever you commit to will be a tie that binds for far longer than you assume. People commonly pursue Neptune when faced with Saturn. So, if you have a leaden marriage or professional partnership (Saturn rules lead) you may deny it entirely and lose yourself in a purely digital relationship based on someone called Roy wearing a mermaid costume. And, of course, you also have Uranus in your Ninth so the appeal of holiday romance, foreign lovers (Shirley Valentine) and bilingual duets may be the story.
Uranus in Gemini could lead to emigration by 2033 or a foreign posting for a year or two. The last thing you expect to happen is the first thing that always happens, Libra. So, if you shudder at the idea of uprooting, that may, in fact, be what happens. August brings the storm to a peak as the world map is lit up in the sheet and forked lightning and you realise you are being offered a new life in a new place or a new relationship with other cultures or nationalities. If it’s not exhilarating, you’re not doing it right. Uranus involves rejection. If you are rejected by a foreigner, you will reject and be liberated. If you are rejecting a foreign country, then it may rebuff you in turn – and again you will be liberated. Uranus is about distancing.
The Ninth House is about publishing and academia, so classically this is books in translation, the ‘world’ part of the worldwide web, international students or foreign lecturers. Uranus in Gemini does rather suggest the stagecoach will be overturned or the ship will throw you onto the shore. Both things happened to the Herschels who discovered Uranus. Again, you will be liberated, set free or put on a zigzag path that leads to heaven knows where. They call it living.
Premium? Go on.

Scorpio – The focus this month is on your Eighth House (Gemini) and Sixth House (Aries). Finance and work. The house and your unpaid job. The apartment and your course. The Eighth is about money and real estate involving a partner or relative (usually). The Sixth is about your workload and your wellbeing. We could also tie up health insurance with this transit. It depends on your birth chart.
Uranus here is in its first stage of evolving revolution. The Eighth is about all that you own, earn or owe in the context of your wife (say) or your father (for example). It describes the inheritance you leave to others as well as any will which names you. It is very much about any sexual and financial relationship.
Uranus always, always brings a 1781-style revolution and in the wider world, this is about the internet, computers, airlines and public transport. Artificial Intelligence and electric cars are the first wave. This has a ripple effect which reaches your shore, Scorpio, in terms of your paid work, unpaid work or study. That is what August 2025 is all about adjusting and adapting to the first tides of time. You have until 2033 to do this as a whole.
Uranus is about freedom and independence, so if there is anything about your service and duty to others which prevents you from being free financially, that will have to be reshaped or even let go. You have your Sun in the Eighth natally, so you are well-known for ‘matters of a joint financial nature’ as Patric Walker used to describe it. We think of Charles III or Bill Gates as prime examples of Scorpio men with the Sun in the Eighth.
So, this quite radical change in your financial, business, charity and/or property situation in August is personal for you. It affects your profile and portrait in the world too. Best to embrace the liberty and the liberation – you can’t buy it and it’s priceless for all that you are a fixed sign. The sheer space and bandwidth of this transit has to be experienced to be appreciated, although the caveat is really the shock of Uranus. Shockwaves are usual. Again, as you are a fixed sign, you would prefer the known world instead of the unknown world, but this is also a brand-new world there to be explored and invented. An electrifying experience.
The Sixth is also under transit from Saturn and Neptune. If you have anything in Virgo in your natal chart, then life 18-19 years ago will be back as you are owed (or you owe) in terms of workload, wellbeing, duty and service to others. Whatever was taking place back then with your job, course, unpaid work and medical situation is reverberating through time. This may explain why (if you have Virgo factors) you feel you are on a loop.
Whatever your natal chart looks like, the day-to-day is about finding a balance between the total escapism of Neptune and the clock-watching of Saturn. It’s quite common to have a job or course you find heavily compresses – inescapably so – and then seek absolute departure from it by playing hooky or vanishing on your phone. Anything will do as long as it’s not the lead weight of the daily to-do list.
Equally common is the McJob (which may be gainful unemployment a la ‘The Idler’) which has nothing to do with the everyday but oddly does come with restrictions and realities. The unreality is bounded by quite rightly ring-fenced situations! Rather like being a circus clown (Neptune job) but also having to abide by union regulations. Clock on, clock off with a giant pair of shoes.
Balancing what is, frankly, such a conflicted set of transits takes a bit of time. Very occasionally (on this cycle), you end up with health issues which prevent you from labouring. This is likely to be in sharp focus in August if you already know about it and a decision is looming. This leads you straight back to the economic revolution I mentioned at the start of your forecast.

Sagittarius – The focus this month is on your Seventh House (Gemini) and Fifth House (Aries). You can cross your legs, live like a nun and reject all suggestion of any kind of private life, but I doubt you’ll succeed in August. The Seventh is about partnership. The Fifth is about courtship. The Seventh is about separation from partners. The Fifth is about the bedroom. The Seventh is about your ex. The Fifth is about the children. The Seventh is also about disputes and differences which can be with your own son (for example) or with rivalry in a relationship (your mistress and your wife’s feelings about your mistress).
Basically, ask a Scorpio about what happened when Uranus was in their Seventh House of marriage, partnerships, differences and disputes. Uranus radically reshapes such duets or duels so that they bear very little resemblance to the original in the end. The idea is to “Keep Moving” to quote Madness. Keep twisting, turning, bending and flexing so that you stick to the ideals of freedom and independence for yourself and the other person/people involved.
Uranus tends to remove relationships if you would have been trapped long-term. It takes great insight to appreciate what just happened should that be the case in August. It may even take months to understand that you would have been confined (perhaps, with the proverbial pram in the hall) had a certain someone not gone stage left. The more genuinely free and, frankly, free-range a partnership is – the less Uranus tends to disrupt. This transit can also be highly unusual in that the actual nature of the get-out clause with a partner can’t be foreseen. It may be very odd indeed.
The Seventh is about work partnership as well as marriage, so you may have a professional duet which rankles or restricts in which case ‘buyer beware’ because eventually Uranus can split that. There has to be a huge amount of bandwidth here for the thing to work long-term.

Capricorn – The focus this month is on your Sixth House (Gemini) and Fourth House (Aries). Work and lifestyle, housework and daily routine, paid work and unpaid work, study and accommodation. Your health and your family, your fitness for duty and the reality of duty in the context of the house, apartment, the garden or land. In many ways, this is a farmer’s transit!
Uranus in your Sixth makes himself felt this month. You are just beginning to see how very different everyday life will be – not just in August, but until 2033. Same job, different atmosphere. Same unpaid work or study, dramatically different feel. Events may catch up with you too, so the last thing you expect is the first thing you get. Going with it liberates you. Capricorn people are famously wedded to the system, the upward climb, social mountaineering, upward mobility, the corporation, the hierarchy, the establishment and the rest. Even wild Kate Moss is respectable. And respected.
Yet here you are with Uranus turning the known world upside-down in respect to your work, service and duty statements and, perhaps, in terms of your health. If health issues prevent work or cut it down, you can safely assume work was an entrapment. Uranus tends to stop anything that resembles suppression. Far better to consciously co-create with Uranus and admit the need for liberty (to be at liberty, literally, to make choices about your lifestyle).
The U-words work very well now with your career, vocation, unpaid role or course. So, the more unconventional, unorthodox, unlikely, unexpected, unusual – the better. Breathe through it the way you breathe through an electrical storm. Should you have Virgo factors, then life 18-19 years ago will return to you thematically as you are karmically owed or you owe and that requires closure in 2025/2026.
This is the big delivery if you have Cancer factors as between now and June 2026 you stand to gain a great deal from your house, apartment, land, garden, real estate, family circle and/or household. You will benefit from vast, sweeping solutions of the win-win kind. August will start delivery.
Even if you don’t (have Cancer factors), you still have Neptune and Saturn making historic aspects in your Fourth, so you have a milestone choice to make about how it’s going to be with your home life, but also your clan and those at home with you. This is the first real chance you have had to make fully informed, measured decisions since the end of May.

Aquarius – The focus this month is on your Fifth House (Gemini) and Third House (Aries). An interesting combination associated with your private life and the world of children, but also the internet. It’s as well to take these things apart to avoid confusion.
Uranus in Gemini in your Fifth House is about the revolution that sets you and others free – be this in the bedroom, in the dating jungle, as a parent and also as a godparent, stepparent, aunt, uncle or grandparent. Uranus is evident in August 2025 as he is involved in some quite rare aspects. This breaking electrical storm is the first of many and will release you or release him, her or them. The level of get-out is proportional to the level of restriction felt by you or them.
The more heavily trapped, rigidly controlled and weighed down you feel (or they do) the more likely Uranus is to pull the rug, overturn the stagecoach or toss the ship on the shore. Uranus is associated with rebellion against those/that which feel so remote, so distanced and yet holds life down with such a heavy hand. Uranus in Roman mythology was associated with what was far distant – a long, long way away. So, if this sounds familiar in the context of a husband, lover, son, daughter and so on – it is very unlikely to last. Something has to give.
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus as you know. This only came about after 1781 when a German keyboard player found him in the back garden in Bath. Sounds odd. Is definitely, very odd. Thus, your sign is associated with McLaren, Lydon, Greer and Ono. Also, Styles. Something of their essence or spirit pervades the atmosphere for you in August, Aquarius, as Uranus in Gemini takes hold. You don’t need to have children to experience it (you can work with a teenage demographic). You can be celibate and experience it too. In fact, celibacy is an expression of Uranus in the Fifth. The main point is – where is the freedom?
You actually have a natal/solar exchange this month as the Third turns up in your birth chart and solar chart too. Do you have anything in Gemini? The shift with the internet is deeply personal and you will feel it more intensely than other Aquarians. The internet, traditional media, the post office, bicycle, car and bus are all part of this transit. So too are domestic flights, long walks, the telephone and the microphone. Only Connect. What is happening to you, Aquarius, is both a reflection of what is evolving out there online and on the map. However, you (more than most signs) will find your life is strongly affected.
The Third is also about your sister, brother, cousin and neighbour. In all cases, you have to find out how to escape from the real world but also live with real world restrictions. Most unusual. How do you have a holiday from the everyday and a vacation from normality, but also honour the long, long waiting game required?

Pisces – The focus this month is on your Fourth House (Gemini) and Second House (Aries). This is about property and money, real estate and the bank, renovations and credit cards, the family and the budget, your town and your country (and the taxation) and so on.
Cancer Factors? If you have Cancer factors, then you gain from opportunities and solutions for your home not possible in 12 years. The Fourth in your solar and natal chart is under simultaneous transits and the last thing you expected to wake up and find yourself doing is the first thing that will happen. There are no ‘always’ factors with Uranus in the Fourth. If you have ‘always’ done this, preferred that or chosen him/her/them on some level – that no longer applies.
You have until 2033 to experience the full stretch of this transit which delivers what is completely out of the ordinary and wholly unexpected. Apply this to your house, garden, apartment, land, real estate and you will see why it’s advisable to stay loosey goosey. Not just in August either (one of the Uranian landmarks) but throughout. The reward is freedom. You get ‘freedom from’ or ‘freedom through’ on this cycle, so liberated from a tiny apartment applies and so does liberation from a family which controls your home life. Hopefully, you are not as weighed down with entrapment as that, but I mention it because some Pisceans are and will be set free, either now or later.
Uranus is about what is extremely unlikely, highly unusual and changes everything. Throw that at your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and so on and see what shows up. Of course, the Fourth is about more than a building. It stretches into your history, culture, heritage and ancestry. Into the family tree. That tree will be shaken in August. It’s fair to say that any situation with the household or extended family circle where others feel suppressed or you feel overly tied down will not last. It has to change or even go.
This is about your money, so the value of your home, the rent you pay, the mortgage or the rent you receive from tenants. Saturn and Neptune in Aries are here to show you the escapism (your stock in trade; Neptune rules you) but also the clock ticking. It’s an odd combination of departure and necessary realities.
Neptune rules Pisces the way the ocean rules fish. You are now in a position to take a vacation from normality in terms of your home, home life, family and sense of place. A holiday from the mundane every day. Nothing real about Neptune. Not unless you are a dolphin or a starfish – in which case, the strange other world seems absolutely normal. Aquatic refences are appropriate for this transit which peaks in August. So, home, family, household, town and country suggest floating, drifting, cruising, diving and bobbing along. Saturn could not be more different associated as he is with a depressed clock enthusiast and Father Time.
You, being a Piscean, are highly unlikely to do Saturn. You will do Neptune. But you still have to meet Saturn and the only answer for that is to peer ahead at the late 2020’s and look at the realities. It’s a funny old month. Just make sure you get the full measure of any Saturnine undertakings before you undertake them.
