In February, we find the Sun, Mercury Retrograde (in his final phase) and Saturn in Aquarius, which rules the friends and groups in your life. You have a serious decision to make about these people on Wednesday the 2nd of March at the Saturn-Mercury conjunction. The New Moon in Aquarius on Tuesday 1st February is misleading, as this new beginning with/for your social circle and your community will not really fall into place without rescheduling, reviewing and perhaps a scrapped plan. It is really important that you slow down and take your time with your friendships and the networks you are most affected to (on a formal level, a club, team, society, association or similar – less formally, Twitter). The reason I say this is that on March 29th and April 5th you will experience Saturn in conjunction with Venus, then Saturn in conjunction with Mars. The ongoing effects of what you decide to do or say then, regarding this group of allies and friends, will affect you until March 7th, 2023, and perhaps even further on in the course of time, extending from March 24th, 2023, until January 19th, 2044. I mention this in case you have dates on paperwork. The bottom line? February is about carefully picking your way through a very complicated situation with these people and understanding that what was said or put in writing from January 3rd to 26th will be changed, delayed or scrapped. You may prefer to wait until at least February 24th to call the situation final, as it will go back and forth from February 15th until then. After that, remember that Saturn is about unavoidable choices. Saturn is about a fork in the road, and the path you take in March and April will influence your life until March 24th, 2023, and perhaps even longer, so slow down, cool down, get it in writing and read the fine print.

Key dates to watch in your career, academic career or unpaid work in February are as follows: a new beginning which is not clear-cut and may even change, on the New Moon on the 1st of February 2022. A replay and rewind of discussions, paperwork or e-mail about your plans from January 3rd to 26th. A very public hard call on Friday, February 4th (allow a day either side for all these dates to allow for world time zone differences) – then until February 24th, ongoing rewinding and replaying of all that’s said or written/announced. Saturn is an ancient astrological symbol of waiting games, tests, obstacles and ultimately, wisdom.
