Appearance, Title, Reputation
You can relaunch again in February, Aries, or plan for the ultimate ‘new you’ by May 2023 if you prefer. Part of this cycle is about Jupiter in Aries, in your sector of appearance, reputation and title. It is also about Chiron in Aries, too. Jupiter is about fantastic opportunity. Chiron gives us the audacity to attempt what is supposed to be impossible. Sometimes we pull off achievements which are positively outrageous: for you, extreme weight loss, a name change or hair transplants, for example. This half-comet, half-asteroid, was discovered in 1977, a year which proved that he (or she) who dares, wins. It was a big year for test tube babies, Punk Rock and Apple Macintosh computers. Chiron is about pushing the envelope and taking new risks. Particularly until May, you are capable of achieving shocking but impressive things.
Money, Property, Charity, Business
You also have Second House cycles kicking in now, Aries. The Second House is about your values. If what you do or say, in the name of your personal value system, is timed for May 2023 to May 2024, it has a better chance of succeeding. It may be downsizing. It may be rampant Capitalism. What’s your life budget?
You’ll need a little luck, but why not tilt at windmills if you think it’s right, from May 2023 to May 2024?
You can move the goalposts when it comes to your house, apartment, bank or currency now, but your good fortune is far stronger after May, when Jupiter enters Taurus. In fact, the highly unusual line-up of Jupiter, the North Node and Uranus (all in your budget sector) together, suggests growth, good karma from 18-19 years before – and a revolution that offers you independence. God and Solitude
Chiron is now making waves in your sector of religion, therapy, Tarot, spirituality, hypnosis, counselling, mediumship and so on. The invisible inner world. As well as orbiting the Sun, Chiron also forms a parabolic orbit with Saturn (your reality check) and Uranus (your need to change.) This cycle in your life is about scrutinising the ‘reality’ of your situation with your God (even if you do not believe) then giving in to your need to change the reality. If you succeed in your daring mission, you will permanently alter the way that you see the universe. This applies if you are Pentecostal or Agnostic. Using self-help, or not.
Chiron is about stretching yourself, so that you can stretch the unwritten, or written, rules. In this cycle, you’ll also encounter the Chiron effect in relation to your time alone. You’ll be put in a situation (perhaps more than once) where you can take a positively Punk Rock attitude towards your solitude. What is supposed to be normal, right and realistic will be of little interest to you, but what will intrigue you is the idea that you can get away with some adventurous, audacious plan. On the inside. In an invisible reality. Who said it’s unacceptable, or impossible, or unthinkable (all red flags for Chiron) to change on the inside?

Chiron arrives in our lives to persuade us to experiment with what’s possible. By doing this successfully, we show other people where the new parameters are – and this strongly applies to the groups you are involved with, now. You can be more audacious and adventurous at this time. Each time you edge further into new territory, you will, once again, change the goalposts.
Twitter and YouTube, TikTok and the Rest
When it comes to your digital social life, you will now test what is acceptable, possible and realistic. Whatever your plans, rehearsal and preparation for the moment of truth will make all the difference.
This strange half-comet, half-asteroid owes something to Saturn (which demands disciplined preparation) and Uranus (which demands a certain mad confidence). Ambition and Position
Let’s talk about success, ambition, achievement, position and mission. You have until May to make a move. If your more outrageous ideas could help the rest of us move forward too –you could get away with your plans – and be admired for your efforts. People working with this cycle are often the catalysts for more widespread change in your chosen field, industry, business or other sphere, because they move the goalposts in some way, and show the rest of us what’s now possible. You can set new benchmarks if your big push succeeds. This is a pivotal time for your family firm if you are in a business with relatives – and wider clan. All families have unspoken rules about what is tasteful, or desirable, or ‘right’. For one reason or another, you will now need to put those rules to the test. In extreme cases, you may even be pushing the letter of the law, in order to do so.
Targets and Arrows
You’ll have a strong sense of there being a specific target you have to hit, and if luck, time and the Universe are on your side, you may well score a bull’s-eye. What you prove, could become the new rule – forever. You will know the score by May, when this historic transit of Chiron and Jupiter in Aries finally ends.
Chiron’s family challenge is simple: ‘Go as far as you can and should.” Often, Chiron turns up as a foster parent figure; mentor; tutor; guide. Someone like this may now be at your shoulder, encouraging you.
You will have a most interesting time, in the light of this, when Chiron travels through your Tenth House. This half-comet, half-asteroid (known to its closest friends as Comet 95P) is all about challenging convention. This will be one of the most experimental and daring periods on your Curriculum Vitae.

Foreigners and Foreign Countries
Chiron is about pushing the envelope and doing what ‘they’ say can’t be done (or shouldn’t be done!) In your own world, it is now time to explore your options with foreigners and foreign countries and test a few parameters. With Jupiter alongside Chiron, you’ll not only very likely succeed, but you’ll also show your friends what’s now possible. Remember, Chiron is neither positive nor negative. It does, however, reveal very clearly what you can and cannot do as far as the rest of the world is concerned. This experimentation can be carried out at length, until May – and you can go as far with it, as it’s possible to go. In the process, lots of people’s jaws will hit the floor, but that’s the whole point. Do you really want to do what everyone else is doing? Or say what everyone else is saying? The time has come to find out where the limits are.
The Worldwide Web, Publishing and Academia
The world of the web, publishing and academia will also encourage you to be more adventurous now. This is a classic cycle for internet experimentation and exploration because it’s still an aspect of digital long-distance involvement, that outrages or amazes more conservative people. It’s also very common to find yourself exploring new and different ways to educate yourself, to teach, or to manage a book project.
Anything that raises eyebrows and pushes the boundaries is fair game now. All aspects of micro-publishing (Twitter) will be influenced by Chiron and Jupiter now too – cue daring initiatives – any success is blessed.

Work, Unpaid Work, Academia
March is the most important month of the year, Virgo, as Saturn leaves your work, unpaid work and academia sector – and Pluto enters. The time to plan is now, and you may already know exactly what you are going to do. You’ll be much more empowered, if you use your willpower – when it comes to your part-time or full-time job, from late March. If you are unemployed, retired or have full-time duties at home, then you’ll find yourself taking a more self-controlled approach to your daily routine and finding what it feels like to have control. At these times, as one of the workers of the world – or even one of the bosses – you are going to testing the boundaries of your own will of steel. From your willpower comes power, by June.
Your workplace has rules, which in turn are governed by laws. It also has unspoken rules and a general code of acceptability. Even when Pluto is acting alone in your Sixth House, you may find yourself wanting to push hard against your own resistance – partly to see if you can have the ego satisfaction of getting away with it, but mostly because you need to find out what you can actually pull off. Suffice to say, your Sixth House is packed with transits in February, ahead of Pluto’s big move. So, your will is a key issue.
Health and Well-being
Virgo, while the Saturn-Pluto switch is in your Sixth House of work and employment, the ball is in your court with your health too. The Sixth House rules your mental and physical wellness. If you put enough preparation time in, you can pull off some empowering things from late March. The fact that bosses, clients, colleagues or professional rivals are so affected at the same time is just proof that you cannot separate (say) a medical issue, from a work question. Remember, if you don’t work, this also applies to your regular lifestyle and routine at home. Time to challenge the usual status quo with the nanny, or your non-cooking, non-cleaning partner, for example. This won’t apply to every Virgo, but if you qualify, remember: Health, diet and fitness are also Sixth House concerns. So is meditation, healing, hypnosis and so on.

Duets and Duels
Your duet or duel is now under the watchful eye of Chiron the centaur. Chiron says ‘Push it. Test yourself. Give them hell.’ This half-comet, half-asteroid, was discovered in 1977, at a time when test-tube babies were under development, and the human genome project was going ahead in leaps and bounds.
Whatever your partnership (or battle) goals are, you can score a direct hit now, if the timing is right, and you have done your homework. Why? Jupiter with all his luck and protection, is also with Chiron. What you achieve with your duet or duel, will make more traditional or conservative people speechless – and it may annoy those who think your approach is mad, or just plain wrong. You could have a second honeymoon with your former husband, for example. Or leave your long-time wife for a mad affair. You could come out. The Seventh House (where we find Chiron and Jupiter making waves in February) rules partners, potential dates, former partners and rivals, enemies and opponents. Chiron rules daring. You can attempt audacious acts in your love life now, but also against anyone who is also against you.
Cocky Chiron
At the same time, Libra, you will be on the receiving end of extraordinarily cocky behaviour from other people – your husband, say, or the person you regard as the enemy. The former business partner you no longer speak to, for example. The whole point of this cycle is to show you what’s realistic, and what’s not, in your personal relationships, and even your battles. What you and others get away with now will show the rest of us where the boundaries have moved to, as well. Chiron brings outrageous experiments by you, and those around you in the world of love and conflict. That way, everyone can see where they stand. It’s an important reality check in your personal life. Jupiter, moving in step with Chiron, gives you the growth, hope, expansion, optimism, solutions, progress and improvements. Act by May for the very best results.

It is time to talk about your lifestyle, workload, well-being, mental health, physical health, unpaid work, paid work and academic career. Scorpio, this is a rare, rare cycle when so much can be sorted out successfully.
If you are trying to go too far, too fast – or attempt too much – life will teach you a lot about where the boundaries are. Have you overstretched the mark with your workload or health? Once Chiron has done its work you will be experimenting with fresh possibilities that previously seemed unattainable – even unthinkable. The same applies to your housework or sleep hygiene. You’ll learn a lot about the way everything is connected, and about life, by observing. This is a time when conventional wisdom, unspoken rules, laws, and social expectations about your work, duty and service will go on the line, as you test them – or those around you decide to stare them down. It’s a cycle when you’ll find out first-hand what’s okay.
Health and Well-being
Chiron says “Push it, test it, stretch yourself, do what they say is impossible…” If you believe that the success in life lies in the attempt, you may well go ahead and try anyway. This is the transit in which people go raw vegan and quit their jobs, so they get their lives back. Chiron describes audacious attempts which come off, or the most daring bull’s-eyes, which suddenly make it clear that almost anything is achievable. It depends on your timing, your preparation, and your ability to properly assess the odds. It pays to ask for second and third opinions from people who are qualified. It’s great that you are so convinced about what more cynical types think is frankly impossible, or even outrageous; nevertheless, you are going to need expert counsel about your plans. Sometimes what is supposed to be so inconceivable is far from it. The time may have arrived for you to stretch yourself further, and stretch the boundaries of what’s okay, as far as the rest of the world is concerned. Money and Property
People who are financially involved with you, or connected to you through business and property, will also show you the beginning of the end, now. Late March is the final deadline. If legal issues are on the agenda, you may be involved in a concluding case in some way, as what develops will be wound up in late March, and at the most, replayed from June 2023, as it peters out. If there are simply unspoken rules surrounding a particularly financial, property or business issue, your decisions now could put those rules on the line. This will give you a whole new playing field in terms of what you own, earn and owe. The end of Pluto in Capricorn in late March can help you rethink your views and redefine your financial world or lifestyle.
You could both/all end up in completely new territory as a result. Game over. The relentless questions about how much control and power you have, since 2008, end in March. By June, you will realise what it feels like to have a budget which is untouched by constant issues about who holds or shares the reins.
Chiron in Aries, Jupiter in Aries
Courtship, the bedroom, children and Millennials are now in the ‘anything goes’ zone. Your plans will seem particularly cocky (if not over-confident) to other people at this time, if you go with Chiron, but that doesn’t really matter…the main question is, can you pull it off? You are unlikely to want anything too safe on the bedroom or parenthood agenda while Chiron is in the Fifth House. Proving to yourself, and to the world, that you can go here, at this time, in this particular way – changes everything. The usual Chiron rules in your sector of family life, property, household and the home apply in February. This strange half-comet, half-asteroid is neither moral nor immoral – it’s neither bad, nor good. It’s just about having the nerve to do what is popularly supposed to be out of the question! Only you can sort out if you are causing issues with your approach – or doing the world a favour. In truth, a lot of the rewritten, unspoken rules about family and property in the 21st century have been field-tested by people having this cycle. This general message about testing the water, also applies to homes, plural, and to your hometown and homeland. It’s time to experiment and explore. As they say, it’s time to push the envelope. With Jupiter and Chiron both in Aries in your Fourth House of family and property, your luck is definitely in. Every Englishwoman’s home is her castle, and all that. On this cycle, the ducks or swans line up in a row.
Town and Country
Your relationship with people from your household, or those who spell ‘town and country’ to you, will also encourage you to be – shall we say – more adventurous. Career, University, College or Unpaid Work Karma
Your boss, colleagues, clients and professional acquaintances will be struck by your long path to karmic closure now. What you have in mind, in terms of your ambitions, is about what you owe, or are owed, from 18 or 19 years ago. Nevertheless – you believe you’re right to keep cycling through, over and over again. And more importantly, you’ve got what it takes, to make the closure entirely possible. In this way, you will quickly show people just how far it’s possible to go back and make amends, or receive amends, in your particular workplace, field or industry. Perhaps you feel guilty about not doing the right thing by a former client, Aquarius. Now, a sequel to a project from 18-19 years ago turns up. That is not a coincidence.
On the most basic level, though, this cycle is about playing the detective, no matter if you have a part-time or full-time job, an academic career or unpaid work. It’s about confronting the past with a magnifying glass and fooling around until the penny drops. If you are retired, unemployed or have full-time home duties, this general message about karma applies to your most important ambitions. How do you define success? Where are you headed, in terms of your status and achievements? July ends the cycle. Success is closure.
Chiron in Aries
Chiron is in charge of the internet and the media for you in February. The rules with Chiron are pretty simple. In mythology, this centaur was an extremely disciplined character. He knew his stuff. He knew that rank amateurs go off half-cocked. You have already managed to pull off the so-called impossible, outrageous or audacious, Aquarius. Now, you can do it again. Only you know if it’s right or wrong.
This emphasis on self-discipline and slogging away, always owes a lot to Saturn, whose orbit lies in Chiron’s path. The maverick stuff – the Punk Rock attitude – comes from Uranus, the other planet in the picture. This peculiar combination of iron willpower, expertise and mad audacity is what you will need, though, if you’re going to successfully hit your media or internet targets. People will react, in exactly the same way they reacted to the Sex Pistols, in 1977. Half of them will excitedly try to copy you, and the other half will shake their heads, and grumble into their teacups. Chiron isn’t about ‘good’ or ‘bad’ internet or media decisions. It’s just about staring down the parameters of what other people say is realistic. This half-comet, half-asteroid bounces between Saturn (reality) and Uranus (challenge reality!) all the time, so it follows that you will now be in a phase when you need to find out what’s actually there. Groups and Circles
Lots of people become involved in bands, clubbing, cyberspace communities, radical political groups and change-the-world organisations in this cycle, which started in 2008. It’s about discovering what’s possible these days, through a network of like-minded people who can help you get there. You have been picked up by a couple of really powerful groups since 2008. You may have walked away from them, too. You may have found your entire life changed by a network, Pisces. That can happen on this cycle as well. It may be the Freemasons or Alcoholics Anonymous. Pluto in Capricorn brings genuinely powerful, life-altering circles of people. Cast your mind back to 2008-2023 and you will see the pattern. Yet, here is the thing. The cycle is ending. It closes in March. So, you can slam the book shut, on this chapter of your life, and walk away.
There are variations on this theme. If you lead a quiet life, just joining a book group may be enough to have changed your world! The rule holds, however. The circle of people you make a time and energy commitment to now, in terms of ending a phase, or starting one, will offer you a chance to explore what life feels like without constant issues about who is top dog or the leader of the pack. If you succeed, you will quickly show other people what’s out there for them, too. As I said, late March is the deadline for this.
Friendships
And so, to friendships within the group. There are always written rules and by-laws (and also many more unspoken codes and agreements) in any tight circle of people. From Rotary Clubs to football teams, from Alcoholics Anonymous to the RSPCA, there are a series of invisible bolts and locks, designed to keep everything in place. Perhaps the time has now come to see where things really stand, within your particular group or community and the friends you made there. Even the frenemies. And this can apply to a long-established circle of friends, too. The only way you are going to find out, is by attempting what other people say looks like a final chapter. Of course, a final chapter is always the beginning of a new book of life, too.
Friendship of the very old kind – is the other big concern of the Eleventh House. You may have been rejected by friends on this transit since 2008 or found the very word ‘friendship’ has such connotations.
If it is time to take a reality check on a friendship, though, then time is unlikely to stop you. How far can you go, in terms of this friend? What sort of chemistry is actually there? Your ideas about your friend now may seem like a way of drawing a line under what was, the better to begin a new page on what will be.
