Well, Ceres is in your money zone until the 9th of February 2022 and the True North Node enters the same space on January 19th. That’s rare. It’s big.
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Actually, it’s just the universe and you are part of its grand seasonal adjustments around money, property, charity, possessions and business. In the original Roman myth Ceres actually ruled the wheat and corn – the staple of Italian agriculture and the economy – so this myth may resonate with you, even though you’re counting dollars, pounds and euros rather than grain sacks. When you are in full possession of the cash, the house, the precious possessions, the non-profit funds or the flat, I am sure you feel fully in control and gloriously happy. The downside is always that you know it won’t last. Share and share alike. The universe will call, in a predictable way, and wants its stuff back. So put a price on peace of mind. Get it. This is karma we are talking about, from 18/19 years ago, and there is some deal-making going on in January. Yours and mine, His, hers and theirs. Be really careful what you set up, especially in writing, as you will be living with it for the next two years, Aries. Taurus, you won’t know where you stand with your career, unpaid work or university/college term until Mercury Retrograde is over, February 24th. This may be because you lose your position, resign, switch careers and so on. If applying for jobs, going for interviews, filling in forms, have Plan B, C and D up your sleeve in January.
Three times a year, for about three weeks, Mercury appears to move backwards. It’s retrograde then, and everything it rules, from communication, to business – and travel – goes backwards too. Issues are picked up, then put down. People change their minds. They’re too late – or much too early – and sometimes they don’t turn up at all. Purchases are taken back. Connections are made, then lost. Have Plan B, C and D if you are involved (say) a vote on your role in the organisation for the future. Or mutterings about a new job for you.
Commonly, the atmosphere at this time is busy and lively, but also shambolic. Possessions are lost or stolen. Prices are not fixed. Electronic goods frequently do not work – and there are no guarantees for anything. This is about your ambition in life, basically.
People recycle ideas, issues, plans and deals to see what will happen – but more often than not, what takes place leaves them stuck exactly where they were before! There is typically a vast amount of analysis, discussion, gossip, sales talk – and loose talk – when this planet is retrograde. Some of it will stick, and some of it will not. This is about your profession. (Or other field).
Astrologers advise against signing anything important at this time because what appears to be gospel truth, or a done deal, could turn out to be anything but. It is wise to avoid negotiations during Mercury retrograde cycles because you may change your mind later or find you could have swung a better deal somewhere else. If you can ask for time to think and ponder now, it’s probably a good idea. Once this cycle is over, you will be in a better position to make sense of what has been ‘decided’ or under so much discussion.

Two really big things are shifting in your work, unpaid work, career and study zone in January. You have sensational opportunities to volunteer, go for an award, enrol in a course, accept a promotion, take a new role – which kicked in as December ended. At the same time, Gemini, the most significant rethink about your lifestyle, wellbeing, daily routine, health, workload, peace of mind in years, is also here. The True South Node is in Scorpio. So, there is a big cycle of karma revolving and it will take you back to life as it was 18/19 years ago. You obviously did the right thing then, as you are about to collect, starting in a small way with clues and signs now, but peaking in April.
During this cycle you will long for people, places, plans and professional or unpaid work possibilities which seem bigger and better. They may be uncharted and unexplored in your life, or just a long way off. Amazingly, the opportunity to discover these enormous new vistas of potential will be handed to you on a plate.
With enough faith, hope and optimism, Jupiter says, all this can be yours. When Jupiter passes through your Tenth House of success like this, Gemini, along with Neptune – you may consider switching jobs, or courses, or putting out feelers in new cities, regions or countries.
To make the most of this cycle, make sure you are prepared to see the big picture! Forget any attitudes or ideas which keep your world small and expand your perspective. Is what/who you want really so unattainable, so far off, or so vast? Is it all really beyond you, or will your attempts to make it there, turn you into the kind of person who can succeed? Jupiter gives you the opportunity. It does not take the journey for you.
I do feel that with the True South Node also in your work/unpaid work/study zone in 2022 that all sorts of wheels are turning to ensure that you are in a superior position, especially between now and May.

A couple of things are happening in January which suggest your former, current or potential partner is the story. The True South Node moves into Scorpio, which rules the children (if you have them) or young relatives in your life. In your natal chart, that sign covers off sexual relationships with property and financial commitments, so it’s the same story told twice, and it starts 19th January.
The other really obvious thing is the protracted, circular, conversation or paperwork with this person, showing up as Mercury Retrograde. This does have an end point! While it goes on, though, allow for rescheduling, retracted statements, delays, technical issues, Covid issues, transport/travel problems, and the rest. It’s classic Mercury.
Don’t date (online or in the real world) at this time unless you actually like waking up next to a question mark. People who are famously poor at returning phone calls, text messages or e-mails, can be unreliable at this time. Flaky women or Men Who Ghost.
Welcome to the new rudeness. Ghosting. It’s very common on Mercury Retrograde (when people fail to reply to something you raised in an email; ignore you completely; don’t respond to any kind of communication at all). Just be aware, Cancer, on this Mercury Retrograde in your Seventh House of dating, divorce, couple commitments and the rest.
When Mercury is Retrograde in the Seventh House, which ends around Saint Valentine’s Day, people say ‘Umm’ or ‘Oh’ or ‘I’m not really sure’ or ‘I’ll call you’ – and so on – if you have ever shaken up a snowdome and watched the flakes whirling around before they settle, you will have a clear picture of what this cycle is like.
This also applies to the state of play with enemies, rivals or opponents. Maybe, his ex. Maybe your own ex! You are undoubtedly going to find them on your radar at this time, because various discussions, letters, e-mails, calls or actual meetings will be unfolding.
This is not a good time to make or accept ‘firm’ ‘final’ promises, though! If you are involved in a situation which will cost you time or money (or emotional merde) if it does not go as you wish, then do not do anything now. Just keep playing ping-pong with the emails until Valentine’s Day.
It’s not just the general atmosphere of uncertainty or gentle chaos which now surrounds you that could cause problems – it’s the worldwide backward traction of Mercury Retrograde, Cancer.
There will be confused x factors you cannot possibly know about, now having a domino effect on you, and your life (and your people issues too.) All the more reason to delay big decisions. Yet, you will get there in the end. Call January a dress rehearsal or beta-test. Mercury Retrograde!

This really has to be about work, unpaid work or study for you, Leo, as we find some unusual things occurring in your Sixth House and Tenth House. For a start, allow for rescheduling, retracted statements and perhaps U-turns or cancellations. This is with staff, bosses, colleagues, professors, classmates – the lot. It won’t play itself out in any sensible and enduring way until February 14th. Give yourself and them six weeks.
This is really the long Mercury Retrograde cycle in Capricorn in your solar Sixth House of workload, unpaid work, daily routine, health, lifestyle, wellbeing – but it is also other factors in the same space in your chart – and most incredibly, your Tenth House (career, calling, role, position, mission) in both systems I use for you, is showing new karma from about 18-19 years ago from January 19th, but also an ongoing revolution.
Let’s look at Pluto in Capricorn in your Sixth House, because that is what I think you will feel most strongly.
This cycle will transform the way you approach your health and wellbeing in the context of your work, unpaid work or study. Not surprisingly, Leo, this cycle often sees dramatic changes in the way people eat, drink and exercise, and also in the way they approach addictions (anything from sugar to cigarettes falls into this category.) It can also change the way they think about the connection between their mind, body and spirit. I’d say this anyway, without Covid, but it’s so obvious in January 2022!
Leo, you’ll find yourself finally coming to terms with aspects of your body, and your mind, and your soul that have been either been covered up to date, or completely forgotten. What will put you in control? What will allow you to truly feel as if you are holding the reins, in terms of your spirit, as well as your body?
January will trigger a necessary, long overdue, voyage of discovery. You’ll ‘win’ the health and wellbeing game eventually if you can use self-control and willpower. Make sure that those incredibly empowering lifestyle, medical, diet or alternative health choices stick.
This cycle famously affects your working life, as well. If you have home duties, this means your domestic chores and commitments. If you have a part-time job, or full-time job, this means your career in general. You’ll look back at January 2022 from May 2022 and say to yourself “Well, that’s when the revolution began.”
Aquarian actress and author Joyce Grenfell had this cycle on 21st June 1963 when she gave her last performance before retiring from stage and screen. It’s a typical example of a simultaneous Pluto ending and beginning. You’ll have some kind of changeover now, Leo, in January 2022.

Where do we begin with the January transits? I’d say this is about a former, current or potential partner – the most. In both chart systems I use for you, Virgo, I’m seeing Fifth House (sexual relationships or children) – but also Seventh House (old, present or possible lovers). I’m also seeing the Eighth House, which is always about sex and money, or sex and property.
You are collecting karma from 18-19 years ago from January 19th, essentially, and you can double that message if you have Scorpio factors in your natal chart. You obviously did something right, because you are now in the most fortunate cycle in 12 years for problem-solving. Doesn’t matter if you are single, with someone or at war with someone!
Neptune in the Seventh House is now magnified. The Seventh House rules your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, and ex-partners. It also rules your enemies and opponents. Jupiter is also in the Seventh House now, for the first time in 12 years. This is massive, as it’s with you for most of 2022 and brings expansion, hope, growth, improvement, escape from the real world – to your door.
Still, you need lines in the sand as usual. Every other time you let those lines in the sand dissolve, Virgo, you ran into issues. Put up firm boundaries now. Pull up the drawbridge. Get real about ways to make yourself happier with or without this person. That is the message of Jupiter.
Happily, this cycle can also produce enchanting relationships that appeal to your need for a vacation from the mundane – and the escapism is astonishing at Easter.
There is always something fascinating, if utterly unfathomable, about the marriages, affairs, business partnerships and working relationships which turn up when Neptune is in the Seventh House. They can be inspiring, even to onlookers who don’t really understand them. How can two people relate with so few boundaries or ego trips? How can two souls connect so fully? It’s like a film, or a song, or a book…
Typically, there are two issues with relationships at this time, that are (at last) here to be fixed. The first is that one person in the relationship appears to have lost their personality, their identity, and their separateness, to the point where they’ve lost touch with reality.
Then there is this: Your double-act is not respecting other people’s boundaries, or reality! Well, Jupiter is now here to fix Neptune.
The process must necessarily begin with self-knowledge. If you’ve lost yourself in someone else so completely, it’s because you have no idea who you are. This can be true of a duel or feud as well, Virgo. You can take a trip in a battlefield.
If the other person in a duet or duel continually infiltrates your life to the point where everything gets messy, you will need Jupiter’s cycle in Pisces to draw the line. Help cut the cords. Well, it’s here for you in January 2022.

Uranus in Taurus, the True North Node in Taurus, the True South Node in Scorpio, suggests a major fork in the road. You will find you collect karma from about 18-19 years ago, and have to settle up, or receive, as others settle with you. It’s really on that level even though it translates as money.
The difference in your financial position, your property situation and your attitude to what you own, earn and owe will be quite astonishing, once this cycle is over. Okay, so that’s 2026, but a five-year plan isn’t a bad idea.
Uranus is asking you to forget about now, or then (financially) – and head straight for the future. You’ll be aware of this planet’s background effects on you for the whole time it’s here, as you will either be waiting for a break, in order to go forward – or uneasily aware that other people could move their agendas forward at any time, which immediately means you have to change course too.
This strongly applies to your income, savings, debts, banking arrangements, lease, mortgage, insurance, possessions, investments, budget, accounting and anything else which rules your financial situation. I believe January will hammer it home, Libra, because of that node cycle shift on 19th January.
You can double that message if you have anything in Scorpio in your natal chart! It will immediately involve your marriage, partnership, ex, or a close relative.
This cycle also rules values. What you will and won’t sell out for, and what you consider to be above mere money. Your principles and ethics will be in focus during this cycle, and once again, you will either have your own agenda for change and progress, or find that you are forced to keep moving, because the rest of the world seems hell-bent on forcing you to change course. COVID! If you believe your values are worth it, you may stage your own revolution in this cycle.
Uranus works best in your life when you go with the natural flow of progress and change. Sometimes technological advances or new inventions and ideas push everything (and everybody) forward. That’s really Bitcoin and the rest.
That’s your cue to go to the next level as well. If you try to stay where you were, you will not only be intensely uncomfortable, but you may also find that in years to come it’s almost impossible to make up for lost time, or lost progress.
Libra, this is the ideal time to loosen up and become more flexible about cash, property, possessions and values. Are you ready to move forward at a moment’s notice? That’s how quickly things could open up for you. Are you prepared for jolts and bumps along the way, as others suddenly decide that now is the moment to push their agenda? A great deal depends on how free you are to use the moment, switch your position and even take advantage of the occasional prod or poke. This is true now, but it’s ongoing, in 2022.
The more you leave your old financial existence or values behind, the greater the sense of progress and possibility will be. Don’t be left behind, keep going!

So many things are front-page news in your life in January, where do we begin? Some practical advice to start with; short trips, commuting, the internet, the media, your phone – will all go back and forth for weeks – on Mercury Retrograde.
This is a really good time to start a project, plan or concept with a long shelf-life for rehearsals or second and third drafts. This shows up in both charts I use for you, Scorpio. If you can allow until February 14th, 2022, for ‘the process’ and then realise that 2022 is more of the same, with an outcome in 2023, you’ll be working with the cycles. Work against them, and you will hit cancellation or rescheduling.
It’s the same with the road to a different way to get around town, or get from A to B. You are obviously having to be Covid-adaptive. You are in a year of retrogrades so stop-start progress is normal now and in fact nothing will really become finally final until 2023!
I think the really huge shift in January is about the personal/financial. The nodes are in new signs in your natal chart, including in your Eighth House of property, family and partners. In your solar chart we find the node exiting that zone, so there’s an obvious change around the 19th of January. Let’s go into that more. It seems to be related to the revolution with/for partners, former partners or potential partners (the dating game).
Children are awfully important in this, because you have stunning opportunities and solutions involving sons, daughters, stepchildren or substitute children. That is very new, Scorpio.
You’re likely to take a radically progressive approach to your partner, former partner or love life at this time – or you may find that a certain someone wants to take a startling, revolutionary, utterly progressive approach with you. Why on earth remain stuck where you are?
Progress is freedom, progress is change, progress is equality – at least according to the planet Uranus in Taurus in your solar Seventh House, Scorpio. All of this will now tempt you now, as you navigate your way through the love and sex jungle. Sometimes, progress will appear in the shape of a new man or woman in your life. This person will be an agent for change in some way – your chance to take the great leap forward.
Typically, you will want the freedom to move ahead in your love life, now, without being confined where you were last year, or even last week.
The changes you make will also force others around you to take a U-turn though, so be prepared for the consequences of that. Not everyone shares your ideas about what’s truly 22nd century in love, life and sex. Not everyone likes being forced to move position, particularly if they are attached to a predictable life.
If you decide to stage a one-person revolution in your relationships and have no regard at all for the chain-reaction it may cause in your world, you must prepare for that, Scorpio. Your longing for a new place in the scheme of things might just cause the kind of domino effect that can also overturn your own position.
Watch out for the reverse situation as well. If you are determined to hang onto your old love life, your old sex life, and your old relating patterns, then you may be left behind as the new person, or the changed person, or just the new world takes a U-turn around you.
It’s your destiny to be surrounded by people who are searching for progress en masse now, and they are seeking it through the world of relationships and partnerships, which is why this aspect of your existence probably feels so unsettled or unstable. This general instability will have a knock-on effect on your partner, ex or future date – and it will have an impact on you as well. Expect a state of productive flux. This may of course be a function of Covid, where couples have been at home together for such a long time. System disruption.
What happened to Cupid’s system? What happened to the usual dating, mating and relating set-up? The answer is, other people’s desire for whatever (or whoever) is new, is now forcing your world into dramatically different shape until 2026, Scorpio.
New technology and inventive ways of dating, mating and relating are under way now, in the world around you – at least try to see what they offer you. And you will absolutely need to change your view of money and property from January 19th, 2022. As I said, though, children (yours, his or hers) are an absolute asset or big answer if you are looking.

January is about your money, house, business, apartment, shares, charity, valuables and so on. Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn, during Capricorn weather in your solar Second House. Uranus in Taurus and the True North Node in Taurus, for the first time in years, in your natal Second House. Boom. It’s about values, bottom line.
Allow until February 14th, 2022, to see finality and firm sign-off choices for you or others about the property, bank and the rest. There may be cancellation, delay or retracted statements so get it in writing, read the fine print and have Plan B.
Ceres is also in Taurus in your natal Second House. Situations which other people become incredibly passionate and emotional about can’t help but affect you too. Nevertheless – try to stay as detached as you can about what is going on.
Rich or poor, unless you dig deeper and find out what and who you value most – and what is really priceless – you’ll never have control. The key to Pluto, now transiting your solar Second House, is to use self-control to have control and willpower to find empowerment.
Other people’s values will really reflect your life now. Their idea of what (or who) is most bankable will sweep you along. Sagittarius, a creeping awareness that what was so valuable or worthwhile about you or your life before 2018 is so not, today, in the grand scheme of things, is really normal now.
With work and a salary in particular, you have no guarantees that it will even last one quarter to the next. I would say that without COVID – this is that cycle you are in.
If you are still adhering to a set of financial rules which make it impossible to trade on the real you – your soul, your spirit, your inner contradictions, your secret complexities, your hidden assets then is a great time to scoop up the glittering prizes, which are within, then privately set your own agenda.
A ton of luck is available via a house or apartment, investment property, the family circle (perhaps) or the household. But it’s really showing up as a real estate solution or godsend.
This cycle also brings decisive, dramatic, final chapters affecting what you earn, own or owe after enough delays and rescheduling. Sagittarius, you need to find the qualities deep inside yourself which are worth far more (to yourself and the world) than the rather dated pre-2018 stuff you’ve been dabbling in so far. This means an inward search for what’s genuinely valuable. Priceless qualities. Precious ethics. Valuable skills. All that.
In all cases, it’s an excellent time to ask yourself what you value most. It’s where your buried treasure is. Once you uncover it, you will be in a great position to know yourself, set your terms, and create your life budget according to your own value system – never mind other people’s.

I said be cautious about what you set up. The thing about 2022 is, you only get this Saturn cycle in your natal chart every 29 years. So, it’s heavy and it’s big. You can either have the mild pinpricks of irritation in life or a thumping great lesson, and quite frankly, if you want the former, you’ll create a strategy right now for your group/that group. Double that message if you have anything in Aquarius in your natal chart, Capricorn. Here’s some more on this cycle, also in your natal.
You have a friend who is about to trigger Saturn lessons. You have known this person for years – or you may find the friendship takes off while this cycle is running. Nevertheless, this person is about to push more buttons than you knew you had. Do live with the realities of being this person’s friend. Is it their personality, the changes in their life, or their circumstances? Covid? Is it the particular chemistry you have with them, or decisions they’re making which directly affect and concern you? Take a deep breath and take stock. You will be dealing with rescheduling until late February anyway, Capricorn, so set time aside to learn – you will find out something about friendship which you can only learn every 28 or 29 years.
Be practical and make a list of what you trust will work best in terms of groups, too. Go to good books, trusted advisors, or older, wiser people if you must. And give it time. Lots and lots of time!
The life management system, which is going to work best now, is one which will necessarily involve a long stretch of patience and effort, on your part.
This group involvement around you or affecting you (outside you) is going to require quite a lot of sustained hard work and careful management.
It could be a rock band, political party, book group, investors’ circle, golf club…whatever. If you’re not really a joiner by nature, this group could easily be your usual circle of friends (your social life, as a whole) or perhaps it’s just a network of people you are temporarily involved with – like a Zoom group. As I said, you can have pinpricks in 2022 or something deeper.
Destiny will line up the people you need most, at this time, to teach you the most about your own maturity. It’s all about your ability to quietly accept what you cannot change, and then get on with the business of trying to make your life work.
Trust the astrologers. In a year or so from now, you won’t even care. But for now, explore the realities of your situation with this group/your group from all angles, and then work as hard as you can, to come up with a sensible response.
Libran cricketer Tony Greig was fired as England team captain during this cycle, for his part in recruiting friends and fellow players to the rival World XI team. The event took place on May 13th, 1977, during a tough Saturn cycle. Hard to choose, now, where your horoscope is concerned. Which transit will it be? There are so many. Most positively, I think, is the money to be made or saved. From January 19th, 2022, it becomes clear to you that you are owed good karma from about 18 or 19 years ago, Aquarius. So, let’s take a closer look at Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces in your solar Second House, at exactly the same time you have Uranus and the North Node in Taurus in your natal Second House!
Your old way of earning, saving, investing or managing money will be left far behind in this cycle, as more intriguing possibilities open up. In fact, by the time this cycle is over, and Jupiter is on its way into your Third House, you could be on your way to vast business, property or financial possibilities. If your high hopes are backed up by practical strategies and a sound approach, you will end up richer – or just feeling that way.
Aquarius, Neptune is here too, so there is a sense of escapism, or alternatives, or another world. A big bubble to float around in.
You’ll have dozens of options to explore now. Space does not allow for me to list of all of them, but within a few months of this cycle beginning, you can expect some or all of these choices:
- A new income source, either through investment, a part-time job, a business scheme, or even a new job.
- An alternative way to manage your banking or accounting which would open up a lot more options – for example, by switching your mortgage type, or by changing accounts.
- A chance to explore the stock market, locally or internationally, as influential people, books or publications begin to educate you in what’s possible. Cryptocurrency, perhaps.
- New options which allow you to reject your old way of life and drop out (financially at least) in favour of a more meaningful existence which has nothing to do with money or status symbols, and everything to do with your personal values. COVID may be your escape path, strangely enough.
In January 2022, from the 19th, as the nodes move around your natal chart into the financial sectors, your radar is unusually attuned to life’s business, financial or property options.
Jupiter in your solar chart is also about self-education, though. This is a solid-gold opportunity to learn about finance. 2022 is in fact, golden.
Two outcomes are likely now. The first is purely financial – for one reason or another, you’ll have more cash to play with. In turn, this opens doors and expands your usual horizons, allowing you to do much more with your life.
The second outcome is equally good. You may wake up to find that your skills, talents or abilities are commanding a much higher price. In other words, you are your most valuable asset! This in turn will allow you to branch out and be much more adventurous.
This cycle can only happen once every 12 years so don’t waste it. Money is on area of life where we tend to focus on our fears and need for security. In this cycle, however, you’ll be given several chances to cut loose and explore. Neptune alongside Jupiter is very, very rare. You’re right to be hopeful.

You’ll experience Mercury Retrograde cancellation and rescheduling with friends, groups, bands, teams, clubs, Twitter and so on (maybe computer failure, Covid or extreme weather) until February 14th, so have Plan B and C, Pisces. I posted these dates a year ago, actually, so you would skip any commitments you could not refund or change. (When in doubt, hit Mercury Retrograde on Search).
Okay, so this matters more if you have Aquarius natal chart factors, because you are going through Saturn in Aquarius in your natal Eleventh House of friends and groups in 2022. If this ticks that box then be aware that January-February is crucial in terms of the group. Every little thing you say or do is part of a much bigger, heavier cycle. Whatever your chart is doing, January 2022 is about a relaunch. Jupiter and Neptune are in Pisces. This is your year for a new look, image, title, brand, role, business card, website, media outlet, public relations strategy and so on. Your birthday is the real moment, on your Solar Return, Pisces, but January’s not a bad dream/plan month. You will be reborn in 2022 for whatever reason.

For the twelve months or so that this cycle operates, you will be able to do more with/about your name, face, image and reputation than you know. In fact, it’s been more than a decade since you had this kind of opportunity. Trade on your outer packaging now, because it’s your passport to all kinds of people, places and possibilities.
That means focussing on your CV, photograph, blog, website profile, personal style, presentation and appearance. Of course, you know there’s more to you than all that, but in this cycle, Jupiter is telling you to squeeze more mileage out of your surface, as well as your substance. This is particularly true near your birthday as the transiting Sun in Pisces forms a conjunction to your natal Sun.
If you do have anything in Aries, then 2022-2023 as a whole is about a rebirth. You may lose weight, get rid of your eye bags, get new glasses, and so on. This is just window dressing for a bigger new message about yourself in 2022-2023.
If there are issues about your face, body and hair then you will be amazed at how many possible solutions appear now.
You can take up more space on the stage of life during this cycle. Some people become better-known when Jupiter passes through the First House – even finding fame. Or fame in a new country. Neptune alongside Jupiter in your solar First suggests you are your own escape route. You are your own alternative universe, or alternative reality, in 2022. It’s evident in January.
The world will be more receptive to you in this cycle. It’s a positive time, full of big thinking and a lot of hope and faith. Put yourself out there now, even if you’re shy or retiring. Destiny will give you several chances to take yourself onward, upward and outward – where a lot more people can find you. The internet is an obvious route to this kind of exposure, and by 2023 you’ll be using an avatar to represent yourself in a virtual space if you wish.
