In a man’s life, Pluto in Aquarius cycles point to the dynamics between the women in his group. Particularly, if he plays a dominant role with two or more women. January 2025 begins the trines from Aquarius cycles to Jupiter – which in plain English is useful if you’re looking for the right day and time to begin something major like an investment, a new business, a new job or a new marriage! It’s about the timing of events. Jupiter in Gemini is followed by Uranus in Gemini mid-year so 2025 has the potential to liberate you from debt, a mortgage or a financial, business, charity or property arrangement that restricts you.
The Jupiter in Gemini cycle also describes the process of building something valuable. This is why it’s so often associated with wealth, achievement, saving or profiting. It can point to specific people in your life – determined, productive types who may have Taurus or Scorpio factors in their charts. Alternatively, it’s about you and your propensity for collecting, investing, and profiting.

Gemini – Your Jupiter in Gemini (image, profile, appearance, title) falls nicely in this January 2025 cycle. So, your personality will be in the spotlight for a few days as people scratch their heads trying to work out who you really are and what you’re really all about – but in a good way. This is just one example of the intense focus you can expect on your character, spirit, style and general you-ness at this time.
Jupiter in Gemini in your First House of packaging, presentation and profiling is even more important if you have Aries factors in your natal chart. January is a relaunch. You may lose weight, get new glasses, find yourself in a documentary or end up on the cover of a magazine (again). Even if you don’t have Aries factors, the self-analysis that comes when you ask yourself “Who am I? What do people think of me? How do people really see me?” is really useful now. The First House is about your name, face, reputation, image and appearance. It’s about your surface as opposed to your substance. If you find yourself bursting with pride in the most public way, then you’ll know that the work you’ve put into your appearance and your people management is paying off. And if you feel invisible, too scrutinised or even overlooked? Then there will be a solution. Jupiter provides answers, usually epic in nature.
The trines ahead to Jupiter in Gemini on this new 2025 cycle will bring other developments which put your name or face out there where other people can give them more time, energy and attention. Cancer – For all of January 2025 – thanks to this Aquarius weather – your financial position, your salary, your money management, your assets (possessions or property) and your debts will be in sharp focus. Your values will also be in the spotlight. That means what you will and won’t sell out for and also who (or what) you consider to be priceless. As The Sun travels through your Eighth House of joint finance and property, it asks “Is this bank statement a towering achievement or does it remind you of your failings? Is this investment you made actually something worth showing off or does it need more work? Does your personal code of values pass inspection or are you about to receive a ‘must try harder’ school report from the universe? This is very much in relation to your father (say) or your wife (for example).
Pluto is now in the Eighth House for the first time in 248 years. This is slow and total transformation over a very long period of time. The issue for you may be taxation. It may be your real estate. How you fare in January and February 2025 all depends on what you’ve been doing with your life budget for the last twelve months. This time last year, you put certain things in motion where your finances, lifestyle, business interests, security, property or values were concerned. What happens now will either prove to you what a brilliant job you’ve been doing or reveal issues about control. Who and what is in control? Who and what has the power? This is tremendously important with not only husbands and wives, but also parents and children. There may be a legacy involved or a marital contract, for example.
We are seeing major transits affecting your family circle, household, apartment, house, land and any real-estate. As you have the Sun in Cancer in this zone of your natal chart, it matters a great deal in January. Expect backwards progress and rescheduling, however. This will take longer than you thought. You may also want to skip the Full Moon in Cancer which is unhelpful for big decisions. If you have Taurus factors, too, in your natal chart then transiting Uranus in the Second House, at the moment, it’s time to ask yourself if you’ve been too revolutionary about money matters or not revolutionary enough.
In January, Pluto in the solar Eighth House suggests the spotlight swings on the last big beginning you made or the last big ending you were forced to accept. In all cases, this cycle finds you asking “What do you think of me? How did I do? How do the numbers add up?” So, singling out the most important aspects of your financial, business and property world as opposed to the forgettable numbers is, quite literally, an investment, Cancer.
You could become publicly admired and acknowledged for what you own or earn in the context of partners and family now. Have you done brilliantly? Do you have the kind of values which impress other people no matter how rich or poor you are? For a week or two, you could bask in the limelight as your integrity and principles turn you into a star. If the financial, business or property picture falls short of your own or other people’s, expectations, use this chance to make a plan for the next 12 months. You have until this time next year to get things right. You need to be confident about your cash situation and security now. Leo – In January 2025, the South Node of karma finally leaves your Third House. A rather circular, stuck and repetitive year is now behind you. In 2025, you will stop spinning your wheels with siblings, the internet, the media, short journeys and commuting. The Third House – where the South Node has been cycling – rules brothers and sisters, communication and short-haul travel (a quick plane trip, an overnight stay or a weekend car expedition). The South Node has put you on a loop so you can deal with what you are owed or what you owe from 18 or 19 years previously.
If you have anything in Gemini in your natal chart, then 2024 and 2025 are both momentous for all the areas above. It may be a new deal with your sister. It may be a complete overhaul of your use of the internet. Maybe the arrival of Uber in your town or a driver’s license at last. Even if you don’t have anything in Gemini in your natal chart, the Sun in Aquarius makes trines to the Third House Moon in Libra passing through your chart. It will shine a huge spotlight on all these areas of your life so you can judge them and make decisions into February.
Let’s begin with your siblings. At this time of year, your karmic relationship with them will be much more obvious to other people. Is the connection to your brother or sister something to find closure with now? It would seems so. Did they just thank you in their wedding speech or have you just had a very public disagreement over the family business? You’ll either be congratulated for getting it right now or reminded how and why you’ve been getting it wrong.
If you do have Gemini factors natally, then January is the launch pad for a revolution mid-year. No other way of putting it. You will be liberated by or liberated from your brother, sister or cousin. Have you been doing the best with what the cosmos has given you in terms of your sibling or do you need to put more work in? This South Node sign-off in January will underline every single point about the relationship until you know exactly what’s going on and where you stand. The state of play with your brother or sister will be more obvious now and require your input so closure can happen.
Communication – your way with words and images, or ideas and messages – is also in the karmic spotlight now. There is so much more to your January memo, speech, website, book, script, thesis, blog, statement, essay, academic paper, letter, meeting, postcard, song lyric, screenplay or just your ‘big talk.’ It nods to life 18 or 19 years before. Karmic collection or repayment ends next.
What kind of driver or passenger are you? What sort of local tourist or regional traveller are you? How would you rate yourself on the road, in the air or on the water? All these questions matter more now because an important trip or an important transportation issue (car, bike, anything) is about to go to the top of your list. This is about neighbouring places. Neighbouring cities like Paris and London (Eurostar) or neighbouring states like Tasmania and Victoria. Again, closure comes in January 2025. A stuck circuit or loop from 2024 will finish.

Someone very special (perhaps you) is travelling between two cities or countries or relocating. This is a Major Arcana card, so it is a major journey or move. The reflective square on the tunic suggests a television, radar or computer screen. This is someone who is going places digitally, too. It is important to note that the charioteer, if he/she is wise, has to submit to a two-way process of education. It is about listening and reading. Absorbing and appreciating.
The symbols may be personal for you. The stars. Ancient Egypt. The wings. The spinning top. There are two places here, pulling in two different directions, and two very different people or points of view. Male and female. Black and white. Virgo – Rescheduling, reversals and renegotiated agreements now stop– at least at home or with real estate. The family or household, too. Mercury Retrograde completes his loop in Sagittarius which rules your solar Fourth House. In your natal chart, we now see two more things. Mars Retrograde and a Full Moon – again in the Fourth House of relatives, live-in partners, the extended family circle, roommates, flatmates, or tenants. This also covers renovations, home repairs, the garden and so on. The Fourth House is very much about your town and country too.
Do you have Cancer factors? It so, this is personal, and you need to allow more time than usual for conclusions. Check the fine print on contracts with builders or new flatmates, for example, or real estate agents. Mars is going backwards. So might the action. Even if you don’t have Cancer factors, it’s time for final sign-off decisions.
The Fourth House of your chart rules your home (typically, your house or flat, but sometimes your temporary accommodation). It also rules your family (that means parents, siblings and relatives as well as partners and any children). Because ‘home’ often means flatmates to some people, they will also be prominent in this cycle in terms of final choices. And, of course, the place you think of as home can also mean the country you were born in or the country you live in now.
You will see waves of change around you as Mars is retrograde in Cancer which rules citizenship status, residency, the property market, mortgage interest rates and other government or business driven moves. This, in turn, will pick you up directly or indirectly, Virgo. It will trigger discussions or signatures that, by rights, should have happened in November or December last year. This is also post-Christmas, post-Thanksgiving and the start of new jobs, new homes and so on.
Perhaps that’s why it’s so common to find guests staying in your home now. Suddenly, the kitchen (or your relationship with your parents) is on full display. Decisions follow. Our home lives and families are often a background track. That will change now as your ruler Mercury corrects his motion. As Sooty would say, “Izzy wizzy, let’s get busy.”
Virgo, your Tarot card is the Ace of Wands.
A big, bold, brilliant idea. Unless this massive concept is brought down to earth and made real, it will remain forever a dream or fantasy. Live Aid and Band Aid had to be moved from the pub to the meeting room and then to the world. Time is of the essence here because leaves are already falling from the branch. This thing has to be planted at the right time in the right place and soon. It also has to be planted in the correct environment, so it is time for research and homework.
You’d have to guess that the building in the background of this card is the right place to park this. What is the building and who inside can help here? Libra – Power is now in the space with courtship, the bedroom, babies, children, teenagers and a younger generation. Power and control questions will go centre-stage as you begin to see Aquarius transits in your solar Fifth House. Do you have Leo factors in your chart? Double that message. This is intensely personal, and you will need to leave more time and space for new decisions about dating, sexual relationships, sons and daughters, young relatives (and so on) in January 2025.
Even if you don’t, Libra, the Sun in Aquarius from late January says, “Are you jaw-droppingly spectacular in bed or not?” It also asks, “Are you proud of your approach to dating at the moment or not?” There are so many different scenarios that will bring you to these two questions that space does not allow for me to list them all. These are classic Sun Fifth House scenarios like brewer’s droop (erectile dysfunction from drinking). Then we’ve got an internet dating flirtation that goes nowhere.
Sex is so personal that I have no idea what will come up for you now. But I do know, it will feel quite different as power and control questions are now in the space. This relentless spotlight on your dating situation or sexuality is useful. It can show you what and who you like and don’t like. It’s an update. That may have changed since January 2024. Pluto in the Fifth House reminds you to be careful with new people in bed who are controlling, dominating and somewhat manipulative (or they would like to be). Pluto people are passionate and can be obsessive. Pluto is with you for a long time.
Something else happens in January 2025 – the North Node leaves Aries which rules marriage, divorce, de facto relationships, separation, engagement and the rest. A stuck or circular situation in 2024 finishes this month. The karma is complete and closure from a story first set in motion 18-19 years before is here. The South Node in Libra also leaves your natal Seventh House which also rules pairs, double acts and duets. These are usually sexual. It also rules duels, conflicts, feuds and differences. Again, these are commonly sexual or were.
So, in both charts I use for you, January 2025 is a sign-off and a sign-on and it likely involves children or adult children for many Librans. Children (your own or other people’s) do need a second and third look now as nuclear power is in the space. It’s very new. The world of children can include areas like adoption, abortion and fertility, childcare and education. What happens now, depends on where you’re at in life. But you will find that everything about your connection to a younger generation is now up for general inspection and scrutiny.
The golden rule with Pluto is that your willpower empowers you and your self-control gives you control. You inevitably end up with questions about top dog/alpha dog/pack leader with Pluto transits. He, in fact, owned a dog called Cerberus. A lot of that is a waste of your time and energy, though. A stronger way into 2025 is to understand that atomic levels of force are now here to stay, and you must handle with care and have a strategy.
Libra, your Tarot card is the Ace of Cups.
Centre stage is a very special relationship. It may be child and parent at the Christening font. It may be a very pure partnership. There are many symbols here. The letter W is on the cup. The Christian cross is on the Holy Communion wafer. The dove of peace flies overhead. The Tibetan Buddhist lotus flower floats on the water. As always, with Pamela’s cards you should interpret the symbols in a personal way.
The cup itself is about emotional or sometimes sexual fulfilment, and this one is overflowing as we’ve seen. There is no end to what pours forth. A network of people who are independent, but connected by the same source is also part of the story. This is a central circle or group which feeds the emotional fulfilment. This is why the cup (always a relationship) is never empty. The network is a gift that goes on giving.

Scorpio – In January 2025, the North Node leaves Aries and your Sixth House of workload and wellbeing. A stuck, circular, repetitive situation from 2024 will end. Let’s consider the health, fitness and wellbeing aspect of this cycle first. Everything about your body will be a lot more obvious now as the Aquarius aspects pick up Chiron in Aries in your chart for weeks which is why it’s classically a time for a medical check-up. People get their teeth fixed at this time and either bask in their dentist’s praise or crawl off to the chemist for dental floss.
The Sun’s angle to Chiron shortly exposes what is clearly in need of attention. It highlights what is central and important – what can’t be overlooked. This includes your own maverick approach from 2024. You have been guided by a person or organisation seen as audacious. She, he or they have chutzpah. Perhaps the philosophy is outrageous. Well, that’s now up for inspection. This is work as well as wellbeing. So, it’s your whole lifestyle. Mavericks have shown you the way. You may well be in a situation now where nobody can brand you. In fact, the set-up may be impossible to brand. So, there is the norm or the convention on tooth decay, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, bone density, and anything else you can think of. And then there is this Chiron transit triggered now.
As I’ve mentioned, the repetitive loop of 2024 ends in January as the North Node changes signs. This entire area of work-lifestyle-wellness is a major feature of the whole year, though. From May 2025, Saturn and Neptune end up in this same chart zone. That’s a sea change. Even if you are already receiving medical or alternative health treatment, this January thru February period is extremely useful as it can give you much clearer insights on everything. You’ll get a better view of what’s actually functioning or not functioning. Were the mavericks right?
The Sixth House is also obviously associated with part-time and full-time work, the chores you do at home (if you don’t have a job) together with any outside interests which you think of as your duty (volunteer work, for example.) Do you have Virgo factors in your natal chart? January is momentous as the South Node is also in Virgo from this point and in your Sixth House natally. So, this is the beginning of quite familiar themes from 18-19 years before. The job, unpaid work or academic career you had then, will have a karmic bearing on what happens next.
Even if you don’t have Virgo factors, in this cycle, you’ll be asked to scrutinise your working life carefully. And particularly your work-life balance. Service and duty are all very well, but what is your duty to yourself? Your sleep, fitness, food, drink and the rest? If you have developed a routine which actually functions properly and a work ethic which actually tallies with your wellbeing (as well as the lists or schedules in your diary), then this cycle will satisfy you.
The Aquarius transits picking up Chiron in Aries in your Sixth House will show you that you were on track. Chiron was responsible for herbal medicine in the Ancient Roman texts which feed our modern astrology. He was a centaur who was an effective, if imperfect, healer. You will sometimes see him called a wounded healer. I guess the question is – what do you call a healer who cannot fix himself? I suppose, all too human is the right answer.
Between now and May when everything changes, you’ll have a second chance to review yourself, balance your health and wellbeing with your duty to other people and to get the kind of lifestyle you can live with in 2025. It’s possible that May or June will come up for you now as surgery deadlines or new project launches or contractual end points for this reason.
Scorpio, your Tarot card is Temperance.
Good mental and physical health. Temperance in Pamela’s day was abstinence from alcohol. This may be a doctor, surgeon, Reiki master, nurse or dentist. A swimming instructor or naturopath. The yellow Iris in the picture is also known as Yellow Flag or Water Flag. That may be a personal clue for you.

Sagittarius – Jupiter in Gemini is with you in January 2025. Your partner will be a source of growth, hope, expansion and solutions now. So will your enemy, opponent or rival if you have one. A weak opponent can do you a favour. If you are single, the person who can expand your horizons and open up your world is still in front of you. A series of stunning trines from Aquarius transits to Jupiter will open up the options with him or her and it is likely to be May-June that seals the deal. But wait, there’s more. Uranus in Gemini lands mid-year as well. So, if you are single, this person will change your life. If you are unhappily married or with a partner and want more, need more and just require the right time, right place – it will be given to you by mid-year with clues now.
Sometimes the partners on this transit are platonic – you share a house, but not a bed. They can be professional or business partners, too. Same thing. The coast is clear for a whopping expansion and tremendous fulfilment if you two are basically good together. If not, and it’s a rotten partnership, solutions will appear now through June. Do you have Libra factors? Then January is personally historic. It is the end of karma from 18-19 years before – either with this person or quite another. Sagittarius, your Tarot card is The Lovers.
Here we have a man and woman – Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden – naked and exposed. This card is about the sexual attraction that leads to engagement and marriage. Adultery, too. It can also show reconciliation between divorcees. It can happen. There is a higher power at work in this card embracing the naked male and female.
The rather prominent volcano in the background is a geographical erection and about to explode. The snake on the apple tree is the serpent in the Garden of Eden and here you find Eve and Adam pondering their options in the face of temptation. The benign figure tells these two that ‘This thing is bigger than both of you’ and the calm smile suggests everything is in hand. There is confusion, though. Capricorn – New power-based relationships, a shift in the old agreements and reshuffles affect your mortgages, tax, inheritance payments, partnership investments, commission, loans, settlements, debts, joint assets and shared resources (anything from a racehorse to a Bitcoin portfolio). Pluto is in Aquarius in your Second House of life budgets, values and all that is valuable. Transformation is unfolding and is complete by February 2025.
Do you have natal chart factors in Taurus? 2025 and 2026 are the end of the revolution. Radical change makes you independent. It sets you free. It’s evident now and peaks in importance in April/May. No factors in Taurus? You are still affected by mergers, promotions, demotions, empowering new appointments, elevations, sideways moves and the disempowerment of some. And you may even be right in the middle of that. January is about what you own, earn or owe in relation to a second or third party. Probably your husband or mother. Your girlfriend or brother. A huge amount of money is on offer if you bring it down to earth and make it real. This is money saved, or money made. Your circuit with tourists, migrants, travellers – or your loop with emigration, travel, export, the foreign worldwide web – set last year. In some cases, it will have been tied to publishing or academia. In January 2025, it goes.

Pisces – You are more than your career, your social status or your ‘position’ in the world. However, you are still right to be looking sideways at your business card, your achievements, your success and your mission. Are you a full-time Mr. or Mrs. with a partner whose money, power and/or children defines your own status? That role too will be up for inspection now.
There are two reasons for this. Mercury leaving the retrograde zone in Sagittarius in your Tenth solar house of achievement, ambition, position and mission. At last, weeks of reversals and rescheduling is over. The other reason is also important – Mars Retrograde in Leo in your Sixth House of work, unpaid work and academia. This is an odd one. The paper trail, discussion, mail or internet traffic is corrected. (About time too). Yet, action plans about your job, unpaid job or studies will now go back and forth for months. You can get promoted now, but you can also be called into your boss’s office for a little chat about the fine print on the contract which is then reversed later.
The same odd ‘restart and reverse’ trends apply to you if you are retired, unemployed or have full-time home duties – but this cycle will be about the roles and goals you have on your own merits. Everything about your performance at work will now be much more obvious with these two concurrent transits. Projects, plans and people will come along which expose the need to rethink the calendar. This is the card that appears when a man is out of touch with reality and inaccessible. He is drifting, floating, cruising and in a world of his own. He may go on, floating in his bubble. He does not inhabit terra firma as the rest of us do. He is very hard work if you 8want co-operation and collaboration.
