Are you about to take a new job, as this Pisces weather begins? Do arm yourself with as many facts as you can, not only about your employers, but also about the state of your business/industry as there are pluses and gains to be made by May. Do inform yourself, educate yourself and update yourself as much as you can, about the work that you do, or the position you’re about to take. Sometimes the big advantage or bonus is not written down. This also applies to unpaid work, Gemini, or your academic career. The same advice about checking for plus factors applies to any new project, special work plan or new role you take up while this cycle operates. With Neptune moving towards a conjunction with Jupiter in April, this is when other realities can actually become yours. So, your imagination or your hopes and dreams do matter.
Gemini, read up as much as you can, on what’s actually going to be in store if you do sign up for something/someone new and then ask for more. This transit in your Tenth House is historic. Whenever Jupiter is in the Tenth House, you need to do your homework on the full potential, until May – and again from October to December. Let’s talk about Uranus and the North Node in your zone of friendship. You have a friend who is about to trigger certain basic needs in terms of freedom, space and independence. You have known this person for years – or you may find the friendship takes off while this cycle is running. Cancer, you must now live with the realities of being this person’s friend, within the wider group, which may be Twitter or a political party – or a band. Is it the particular chemistry you have with them, or decisions they’re making which directly affect and concern you?
Increasingly, since 2018, when Uranus changed signs, you have been shown what is radically different, remarkably unique, quite unexpected and (definitely) exciting. That is rather odd in a pandemic, but this is what has happened with friends and groups, and your social life in general. Independence Day takes time, so give it time. Lots and lots of time! The plan, which is going to work best now, is one which will necessarily involve a lot of patience, on your part, as you will need to go through all the hoops and obstacles once we get to Taurus weather, from late April until late May, Cancer. Jupiter can be big, so try not to get things out of proportion! It’s quite true that your own values, very tightly constructed, are necessary now, because you have so much to process.
You will now see yourself as you really are, in your own time, and in your own way. Capitalist? Miser? Philanthropist? Shopaholic? You’ve always looked at partners a certain way or been seen a certain way in terms of duets (or duels). And now, Virgo, everything is changing. You’re either finally in a position progress, or being asked, by happy chance, to completely alter things. Two things will happen at this time. You will either take the initiative and make your own moves towards a very different kind of duet. The radical difference in your financial position, your property situation and your attitude to what you own, earn and owe will be quite liberating, once this Taurus and Scorpio cycle is over. Uranus in Taurus is asking you to forget about now, or then – and head straight for the future. You’ll be aware of this planet’s background effects on you for the whole time it’s here, as it’s been with you since 2018, Libra – as you will either be waiting for a break, in order to go forward – or aware that other people could move their agendas forward at any time, which immediately means you have to change course too. This strongly applies to your income, savings, debts, banking arrangements, lease, mortgage, insurance, possessions, investments, budget, accounting and anything else which rules your financial situation.
To continue quoting from my last book, about this famous cycle, it also rules values. What you will and won’t sell out for, and what you consider to be above mere money. Your principles and ethics will be in focus during this cycle, and once again, you will either have your own agenda for change and progress, or find that you are forced to keep moving, because the rest of the world seems very keen on forcing you to change course. We could look at Ukraine and Russia, the European Union and the domino effect of that on the world economy (a domino flips in your lap). Or, Libra, we could talk about your legacy, the will which names you, the options within a joint bank account with your partner and the rest. If you believe your values are worth it, you may stage your own revolution in this cycle. Watch out for the impact you are having on other people or organisations, though. If you cause too much flipping and flopping, you will begin a domino effect that is completely unpredictable, and at some point, the entire set of dominos may well fall on your head. I quite like this analogy for the weird financial game you are playing now. It’s all linked.
Uranus works best in your life when you go with the natural flow of progress and change. Sometimes technological advances or new inventions and ideas push everything (and everybody) forward. So, this may be cryptocurrency, say, or negotiating your new salary in exchange for working from home. That’s your cue to go to the next level as well. If you try to stay where you were, you will not only be uncomfortable, but you may also find that in years to come it’s almost impossible to make up for lost time, or lost progress. Libra, you are in this rare, historic cycle with the North Node and Uranus in Taurus and the South Node in Scorpio, when you have to reject life before 2018. No other way of putting it, really.
As you go into Taurus season very soon, this is the ideal time to loosen up and become more flexible about cash, property, possessions and values. Are you ready to move forward at a moment’s notice? That’s how quickly things could open up for you. Are you prepared for jolts and bumps along the way, as others suddenly decide that now is the moment to push their agenda? A great deal depends on how free you are to use the moment, switch your position and even take advantage of the occasional prod or poke.

This ongoing Pluto cycle will affect three separate areas of your life, probably at different stages. First of all, if you have a cousin, brother or sister, this cycle will reposition you, in your relationship with them – once more with feeling. You may seek this change out, because the old situation you created back in the really tough years of 2018, 2019 no longer works for you. Alternatively, the change as you go into March-May 2022 may be forced on you, by circumstances beyond your control. It’s actually not possible to hang onto the old set-up with your cousin, brother or sister at this time, because you will either feel tremendous pressure with questions about empowerment and control. As always with your ruler Pluto, empowerment is down to willpower and control is down to self-control. The Third House, ruled by Capricorn in your chart, and where we now find Pluto, also rules travel, transportation and how we get around – by train, bus, car, bicycle, motorbike, aeroplane, boat, and so on. Pandemics have an odd way of making us focus very tightly on the control we have (or lack) with transport and local journeys. One short trip in particular will change your life in this cycle when you plan it, or take it, in March. Never underestimate how it will change your ideas. It’s really about The New Local for you, Scorpio, and that’s a global trend as we slowly but surely see an end to globalisation around the world.
Finally, this cycle rules communication. Your way with words, and information, and the world of the web – and no doubt, inventions which haven’t even been thought of yet. Empowering advances in technology or even in the corporations which run the web, or the media, could change your world now. This Uranus and North Node cycle in Taurus affects three different areas of your life. Firstly, the world of children and babies (your own, or other people’s.) Secondly, the world of sex and intimacy in the context of parenthood, or step-parenting. And finally, everything you do in the name of educating or entertaining children, or teenagers. It’s a very different world out there, isn’t it. What seemed to be a mad punt on something/someone so new back in 2020 and 2021 is now looking feasible. And exciting.
Let’s start with the world of babies and children. This covers obvious areas, like any sons and daughters in your life, but also includes young relatives or godchildren, professional or social involvements with children, and issues which affect parenting – adoption, custody, nannies, babysitters, schools, child welfare, children’s health and so on. IVF treatments are also on this list. Teenagers and Millennials are very much in the zone, Capricorn.
What do you need now? Progress. You will not be satisfied with your old place in the scheme of things, where the world of children, teenagers or Millennials is concerned. Where younger people (yours or other people’s) are an issue, you will either join the push for change, which is happening around you, or start your own revolution, and advance as far and as fast as you dare. A strong sense of ‘That was then, this is now, and this is the future’ will encourage you. To continue quoting from my last book, about this cycle (which is well-known in astrology) – you will begin this cycle with, quite literally, a fixed set of positions; single or attached, you’ll be stuck in a set-up which appears secure enough, and a certain perspective on love and relationships. As this cycle kicks in, though, you will be encouraged to find higher ground. It’s time to move on! Capricorn you may have done this more than once since 2018 when Uranus changed signs. So perhaps you’ve had a couple of break-ups. Maybe you’re married, and very much so – but the surprising story has been about a son or daughter. Maybe, a children’s organisation.

This karmic South Node cycle affects two areas of your life. The first covers your job, your daily routine, or the domestic work you do at home. This cycle is about the jumping-off point between the past and the future, and as the South Node goes backwards through the zodiac signs, not forwards, you tend to find Groundhog Day with career, unpaid work or your academic career. On the plus side you learn zen master skills. You become a kind of superhuman if you try, because changing on the inside is the only thing that works! When the cycle ends after 2023 you find yourself remodelled, spiritually or psychologically. A new angle on the old role, even a new profession, is the result, sometimes more than once. But there are many possibilities. Your own version of progress will be unique to you, Aquarius, as this is your karma and nobody else’s. Your timing and approach will make the difference between an easy leap forward on the inside, or merely feeling stuck. Broader changes in your field, industry or profession – or wider social or national advances, delivered by politicians or the people – may also affect you at this time. You’re likely to take a progressive approach to your internet life at this time – or you may find that a certain someone in the media, publishing or education wants to take a progressive approach with you. Why on earth remain stuck where you are?
Progress is freedom, progress is change, progress is equality – at least according to the planet Uranus. Sometimes, progress will appear in the shape of a new kind of technology. This will be an agent for change in some way – your chance to take the great leap forward. Uranus rules new inventions. Uranus in Taurus in your solar Third House is now full steam ahead, Pisces. So, try who/what is new, even if you tried in 2021 and it didn’t exactly work out.
Typically, you will want the freedom to move ahead in your life, now, without being confined where you were last year, or even last week. The changes you make will also force others around you to take a U-turn though, so it may be software or just the nature of a course, but you’ll all have to stumble forward together. Uranus tends to deliver sudden, exciting, turnarounds. The last thing you expected, actually.
If you decide to stage a one-person revolution in your academic career or within publishing online – and have no regard at all for the chain-reaction it may cause in your world, you must prepare for that by May. Uranus transits can cause the kind of domino effect that can also overturn your own position. Watch out for the reverse situation as well. If you are determined to hang onto your old ‘known’ internet, then you may be left behind as the world takes a U-turn around you. The choice is yours – move with the times, or face being stranded and not in a good Saints way. In a stranded-stranded way.
New technology and inventive ways of connecting and communicating are under way now, in the world around you – at least try to see what they offer you. This goes beyond Zoom. It zooms beyond Zoom. You do you, as they say in L.A. and you do new, as well. Forget life online before 2018 it’s irrelevant.
