I am writing this in October 2025 – so looking several weeks into your future, but with your finances, house or apartment. The rescheduling, reversals and cancellations will end on December 11th, 2025. The Mercury Retrograde dates were posted a year ago here, so I hope you saw them.
Looking far, far ahead into 2026, you will be rewarded with independence, freedom from and freedom through (insert word here) as a result of this unpredictable period for your money, house, business, shares, apartment and so on. This Taurus-Scorpio transit is about big price tickets in your life, but also your day-to-day personal budget.
The flux on Wall Street and other world share markets was predicted a very long time ago and here you are with six degrees of separation from the situation in Manhattan. Less so, if you actually trade with Goldman Sachs, for example, or you have Bitcoin.
Let’s talk about timing here. The actual delays, cancellations and rewrites with the numbers or the discussions (and the paperwork) stops on the 11th of December 2025. Ignore mad American teenagers on Tik-Tok who say ‘Awesome! Mercury Retrograde is ovah!!!’ as it frankly isn’t.
The roller coaster stops in April 2026, and you start again next May. Until then, sudden and unexpected budget-changing events are in store which will turn the known world upside-down, but also release you from any situation which was, frankly, tying you down.
It is an extremely good idea to step back from the money, mortgage, investment, loans, shares and so on, and ask yourself ‘Where am I not free?’ and also ‘Where is he/she not free?’ The answers to that can point you in the right direction. But you want to avoid Mercury Retrograde in November unless you truly know what you’re doing.
Do you have Taurus and/or Scorpio factors in your natal chart? Double that message. I realise you have already had a couple of personal economic shocks since 2018 when Uranus first moved into Taurus, so you have well and truly gone through it. COVOD was one, sure, but you had another one too.
I hope you can also step back from that and realise you were being made independent. And you can’t buy that in a catalogue. Space, space, space. Autonomy! And yes, some severance with the old past had to happen to offer you that astonishing new room to move.
You are hidebound by anything from Buddhism to a psychic to the church to a therapist until Saturn changes signs on February 14th next year. So, you need to get through November, December and January and then across the wall. You can double that message if you have Pisces natal factors, Aries. Whatever your birth chart looks like, the Twelfth House of your solar chart shows an odd situation where one half of you is fenced in and the other half is being offered an alternative reality where you can escape.
With Neptune at large now you need to stick to the rules with religion, mediums, Tarot, spirituality, psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors treating you for insomnia/depression/anxiety and so on. The rules built up by tried, tested and trusted organisations or people will help to stop the confusion that can come on this transit. By the way, the confusion stops on January 26th, 2025. We don’t know why, yet. The Twelfth House is your headspace, aura and chakra system. It is your dreaming self, but also your meditating self. The rescheduling, reversals and cancellations with your other half or the other side (personal, professional or platonic) ends on December 11th, 2025, but for now Mercury Retrograde is with you. This may be your corporate partner or your political deputy. Your husband, wife, boyfriend or girlfriend. This cycle is also about anyone against you. The opposition or an enemy. It can be legal. That happens.
Use astrology and expect reversals, delays and the chance of a cancellation. This applies no matter if you are negotiating a treaty with your ex, taking the first steps in a new potential relationship or sorting out a work ‘marriage.’ This is a bit like Donald and Tony in partnership over Israel and Gaza. Watch them because the shenanigans will be echoed in your own duet, double-act or pair. It might be business. It might be marriage.
If you have Scorpio factors natally, this is going to be about the money, shares, house, valuables, apartment. Allow the whole of November to go back and forth. Get it in writing, read the fine print and have a Plan A and B.
Uranus in Taurus in your image zone is back in your life. It won’t end until April 2026. Then in May 2026, there’s a relaunch. New you (again) one more time! If you have anything in Aries in your birth chart, you can double this message. Your First House of profile and portrait is being triggered privately too.
This is a long cycle since 2018, so you have been reborn more than once. You may have lost weight, changed your wardrobe or radically altered your title or role. It’s on that level. Now you’re back there for the last time. Uranus is quite liberating in terms of how you project and how you are seen. It can also come on quite suddenly as a transit, like an electrical storm which turns you sideways. The Big Tilt. The planet itself does not spin normally.
What to do? Chase the freedom. Do not resist the change as it’s unlikely to work. Yet, from around Easter next year, this is over. You are the new model. The final, final new model.
This is really heavily restricted for you with your ensemble cast, political party, rock band and so on or maybe just social media like Substack until Saturn changes signs on February 14th next year.
If February, March, April 2026 turn up as key dates in the calendar for next year, you may prefer to schedule the important friendship or group event/signature before or after Mercury Retrograde, then. So, before February 12th, 2026, or after April 9th of 2026. You would also want to avoid the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse on the 3rd of March 2026 (allow a day either side).
With Neptune at large now, you need to put the boundaries back in with these people. It’s ridiculously random, no matter if you are in the United Nations or dealing with Mumsnet. Everybody is all over the place, everywhere, all the time. If anyone is using alcohol, prescribed or recreational drugs, you can double that message. And you can treble that message if you have Aquarius factors, natally. If so, November 2025 is part of the big sign-off decision about a friend or group in January/February 2026.

But if you didn’t, get everything in writing, have a Plan B and C and sign off with your staff, employer, colleagues, classmates, lecturers, doctor, dentist, surgeon and so on. Have a stash of N95 masks and, if possible, your own UVC light or HEPA filter.
Uranus in Taurus is back in your life. The revolution rolls on with therapy, God (or not God), Buddha, Tarot, psychics, psychology, counselling, solitude, meditation, dreams, hypnosis and so on. It won’t end until April 2026. Then in May 2026, there’s a restart. For some of you, this has been about mediums. In other cases, about self-help.
If you have anything in Pisces in your birth chart, you can double this message. You have been experiencing Neptune and Saturn in Pisces in the same zone of your private chart too. The mysterious, submerged and invisible Twelfth House. Over in your Gemini chart, Uranus back in your solar Twelfth House reminds you that every time you have broken with the past in terms of your inner life, you have been set free. You have become independent.
This is a long cycle since 2018, so you may have left your psychologist or joined a church. You may have ditched medical treatment for phobias, anxiety, depression, alcoholism or drug addiction – and found a superior alternative. It’s really been on that level. Though, of course, this being the Twelfth House, no Gemini ever talks about it.
This is really heavily restricted for you until Saturn changes signs on February 14th next year. So, you need to get through November, December and January and then the ring-fenced situation is over. At the same time, Gemini, you have a way out. An outlet or escape bubble. An alternative world. So, this may be two jobs, for example, or two different colleagues or employers who rotate. It may be your course or a holiday from reality.

If we look at the long-term future now, Cancer, it’s really about January and February 2026 and the transformation within your family circle which peaks then. This cannot be separated from the finances, the charities, the business interests, house, apartment, valuables, collectables, real estate and the rest. I’m not telling you anything you don’t know.
What is really interesting here, Cancer, is that this Eighth House transit of Pluto in Aquarius (picked up in November 2025) concerns your own understanding of what it means to blend the bedroom and bank accounts. Also, the legacy you leave to a younger generation and any legacy which names you. Into this basket go things like trust funds, divorce settlements, prenuptials (and some things which are never for public consumption). Assisted dying is on the list, Cancer, and so are plotlines from opera or soap opera. I have to mention this.
Cancer, the power or control in this is vested in you if you have enough willpower and self-control. The stakes are extremely high by the opening of 2026. I’ll give you some dates for climate change in your chart then. I am doing this because they may appear on paperwork or in your online diary now. If the 16th, 17th, 18th of February 2026 is already in your diary, please change it. Go earlier or later. It’s an eclipse and it’s a cover-up or blind spot. Neither participate in that or be taken by it.

We also need to note your ongoing relaunch, reboot, makeover and so on. Different sort of reputation or profile these days! Perhaps, a very different look. The beard. The shades. Thinner? Curvier? The superficial now nods to the inner man or woman. And the inner man or woman wants a different kind of cameo or portrait these days. The cycle ends June 30th, 2026. This month leans towards next year and you may already be making plans.
You may be British, and they may be in Israel. You may be British, and they may be in America or the Commonwealth. You can be in Israel and be looking at Australians. This is the ‘world’ part of the web. It is also travel, travel plans and foreign involvement in your life. Multiculturalism and globalisation. Translation and emigration.

Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio will deliver rescheduling, delays or reversals in November 2025. Life is a rehearsal, not an outcome. This may be your builder, a flatmate/roommate moving in (or out) or your relatives’ Christmas plans. Perhaps, even big decisions about a mortgage, relocation or renovations.
I am always happy to give warning a year in advance of Mercury Retrograde, so I hope you read my notes on this here. It ends on December 11th, 2025. Until then, get it in writing, have a Plan A and B and read the fine print.
Uranus in Taurus is with you in 2026 as well, so it’s worth peering ahead at this unpredictable cycle. What happens in November is the start of a revolution. A radical change which will set you free and give you more independence, Leo. This ends on April 26th next year and not before. Along the way, you will be offered far more room to move.
There will also be a complete break with the past. A large number of Leo people will resign, retire, switch jobs, change courses, switch personnel and so on. It will happen suddenly as Uranus transits always do. The month of May 2026 may come up in paperwork or discussion. This is on point. After the instability in your professional, academic or unpaid working life stops on April 26th, 2025, the month of May will be a relaunch into smoother, calmer waters.
In fact, since 2018, your job(s), life at university or college, unpaid roles have been impossible to predict despite your reading an astrology column! Along the way, old ties that bind have gone. This is the last wave of many years of surfing the waves of change. You know how to do it because you’ve done it before and you were given space in exchange.
Let’s look at these Pisces cycles – not just now, but in 2026. They are about the value of your house or apartment, the interest rates on a mortgage, any legacy which names you, the contents of your own will, marital joint bank accounts, shared rent with a partner and so on.
If February, March and April turn up as key dates in the calendar for next year, you may prefer to schedule before or after Mercury Retrograde then. So, before February 12th or after April 9th, 2026. You would also want to avoid the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse on the 3rd of March 2026 (allow a day either side).
Having said that, the financial restrictions of Saturn – and the confusion of Neptune – will be over in 2026 as the year begins. Any muddle now over boundaries stop on January 26th, 2026. A heavily ring-fenced situation stops on February 14th, 2026.
If you have factors in Scorpio in your birth chart, you can double this message and it may be your partner, parents, siblings, former partners, children and so on who are involved. The golden rule with this Neptune cycle is to put boundaries back in. And, if they were never there, put them in for the first time. Try to contain and control the situation as much as possible. It’s only for a few more weeks, Leo.

Mercury Retrograde is with you, so expect delays, cancellations and rescheduling with your brother, sister, Aunt’s children, the people next door (or in a neighbouring region), your internet, the press, and short trips or commuting. Oh, the joy. But at least you were warned a year ago here (I give you a lot of notice on this website when I can). So, you realised that you needed a Plan B and C if you were travelling or relying on the roads/airlines/public transport in November 2025.
Is this a big deal beyond December? No. It stops on December 11th, 2025, when Mercury Retrograde Post-Shadow also stops. However, “For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, the horse was lost. For want of a horse, the rider was lost. For want of a rider, the message was lost. For want of a message, the battle was lost. For want of a battle, the kingdom was lost.”
You are pretty big on details if you are a typical Virgo, so be aware of the need to be extra-vigilant with your family member, car, emails, phone, social media, computer, train or short-haul flight. Back up the back up. If you have Gemini natal chart factors, then pay special attention to the long-term aftermath of any loose ends from April 2026 onwards.
Back into the Ninth House goes Uranus in Taurus for the very last time. So, let’s look at the unpredictable, the liberating, the exhilarating and the confronting Uranus cycle of the Ninth. The Ninth House is associated with Sagittarius and Jupiter in the natural zodiac. By the way, if you have any Sagittarius factors, you can double this particular message.
This cycle describes the big picture. It points to the travel, foreign, internet, educational, academic, publishing and spiritual agenda. It is associated with airlines, foreign countries and cultures, the worldwide web, universities, informal education, traditional and digital publishing and one’s country and the accompanying religion. Italians are Roman Catholics. In Israel, they are Jews and so on. In Tibet, Buddhists.
This month, you may find that two or more items on this long list cross over each other. So, the concern might be (for example) travelling overseas to attend an astrology conference to meet an author. The Ninth House is about expanded geographical, intellectual and spiritual horizons. It is about travel and travel in the mind.
Uranus is the last thing you or anybody else expected. It is always about quite radical progress because of revolutionary events. Going into a care home with entirely Asian staff if you are British is this transit. So, is marrying an American and emigrating to Canada to be with her black family. You get the picture. Life will be ‘the expected, unexpected’ until April 2026.
There are two important dates for your situation with him or her – be this your half of a partnership or your side of the scales of justice with someone against you. You find the escape route, the bubble and the holiday from reality is no longer there from January 26th next year. Then, straight after this from February 14th, 2026, the heavy restrictions end. This may be your husband, your sister, a professional enemy and so on. It can be duet, duel or both at the same time.
According to your chart, what you need to do now is put boundaries back in. You do this all the time because they keep disappearing, but those sea walls, shored-up cliffs, shark nets, barriers and sea defences need to be maintained or even replaced if you still find him/her/them/that/this going all over the place.

I hope you read the Mercury Retrograde article I wrote a year ago here as you would have known November 2025 would bring delays, rescheduling and reversals – possibly cancellations – with your bank, business, shares, currency, house, apartment, possessions. If you didn’t, that’s okay. But get everything in writing and have a Plan B and C for good measure.
Beyond Mercury and the world economy – which is affecting you, for example, the value of your pension/superannuation or a supply chain issue with a refund or product recall – this is a 2026 story too. Uranus back in Taurus tells you that life will be predictably unpredictable with your money until April 2026. Not bad, not good, just liberating. You are being given a chance to walk free and break with the past. Any person, organisation or situation which chained you and others will not last. It will either change or simply go.
This is Taurus, so it’s your Eighth House of partners and relatives in connection with your assets, debts, ownership and so on. If you have factors in Taurus and/or Scorpio in your birth chart, you can double this message. It’s personal and it’s revolutionary. What you get in exchange for going with the flow (more like an electric current) between now and Easter next year is autonomy. Space. Room to move. Oxygen. This is very specifically about your bank account, business, charity, home, possessions and so on. So, there is method to the universe’s madness – but in November itself, have a back-up for your back-up.
You are almost at the end of this really demanding cycle in your Sixth House of paid work, unpaid work, wellbeing, health, fitness, mental health, daily routine, lifestyle and so on. You lose the restrictions on February 14th, 2026. Before then, on January 26th, 2026, a holiday from the real world also vanishes. The bubble alternative stops. So, clearly, something is up in early 2026.
If you have Virgo natal chart factors, double that message. The key here is to serve your own wellbeing before you serve other people. If you are like something out of Downton Abbey downstairs, then you need to make half your life upstairs and be the maid or butler to your own good health. On all levels!
In November 2025, the big message is to put boundaries back in. No line crossing allowed with (say) your staff or your professor. With the dog or cat. It can feel like trying to constantly rebuild a sea wall with water spilling all over the place, but it is worth it. And within weeks, it stops.

The waiting game now is about the intimate side of a relationship or very much about a younger generation. The Fifth House is associated with Leo and its ruler, the Sun, in the natural zodiac. Leo is the lion – a symbol associated with royalty for centuries. The lion is king of the jungle, and the Fifth House is associated with the next generation.
For any monarch, one’s heirs and dynasty are essential. In fact, without princes and princesses, there is no monarchy at all. The Firm (as HRH Queen Elizabeth II is reputed to call the Royal Family) depends on future generations. The Fifth House is thus associated with children, godchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. It also describes adoption, pregnancy, step-parenting and fostering.
The waiting game and test of patience stops on Valentine’s Day 2026. Interesting! The bubble, holiday from reality, alternative universe or great escape (because you also have that going on) stops a few days before or on January 26th next year.
On a broader scale, this month’s Neptune transit describes the total loss of boundaries with or for, one’s young subjects – teenagers or children en masse as a collective, who inherit the legacy of one’s personality.
We associate this house with serious relationships (the kind which make you pregnant – or not) and could involve stepchildren or, if things became formal, eventual status as an aunt or uncle. Slipping and sliding all over the place, ebbing and flowing, losing sight of things and becoming confused about where things end and start is a sure sign it’s gone too far. Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries. Put them back in, Scorpio – even if you’ve been doing this for months. The muddling through will stop at the end of January next year. Not long to go.
To be liberated from or through a duet is part of this cycle. It stops next April. You can be set free from a partner who cramps your style. You can find space, independence and excitement by being with someone who unchains you. I’m not just talking about personal pairs and partnerships. This can be professional (a work partner) or platonic (you two are a pair, but don’t have a relationship in the bedroom or the boardroom, come to that).
And this cycle is also about the duel. The opponent or enemy. The rival. So, Donald to Joe or Kamala to Joe. Thus, your concern may be with an enemy, opponent or rival.
The First House points to image issues. Mercury Retrograde in Scorpio in your First House is about reversals, rescheduling and rehearsal time. Have a Plan B and C – no matter if it’s your contact lenses, your title or your social media strategy. Get it in writing and read the fine print.
The First House is all about how you promote and advertise yourself. How do you appear online at Google and Twitter? What kind of wardrobe and body do you have at the moment? What does your face say about the person inside?
At the same time, does your exterior really matter as much as your interior? This goes into issues like your role, title, persona and so on. Big wheels are turning backwards now. It’s not important long-term and it does not last. However, if you have Aries factors in your birth chart, there is a whopping relaunch coming in the first quarter of 2026. So, any loose ends now with your name, reputation, potted biography, physical appearance and so on really will matter later.
How are the scales balanced? They will rock from side to side for months starting now and ending next April near Easter 2026. You are a fixed sign, Scorpio, and dislike change, but make change your friend. You will be liberated from this battle or liberated by it strangely enough. That’s coming and it will happen when you least expect it.
Uranus is a 1781 astrological symbol based on the synchronicity of the American War of Independence, the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution. That is what is happening with a partner of any kind at all. That is also what is happening with an enemy. The whole shebang takes from November 2025 – April 2026 to complete and then you will be quite, quite free and living in a very different world.

You will go backwards and forwards with a secret sensitive issue now. It may be your church wedding. Your Buddhist teacher. Your psychic, Tarot deck, therapist or sabbatical. This may be a private plan that you cannot tell anyone else about or it may be a rather delicate ‘thing’ about yourself and your life that is only suitable for your diary.
Well, it’s the going-back-on-our-word cycle (people are unreliable now and you are too) or as complex as a power cut, a transport strike or a worldwide computer virus. The general madness of Mercury Retrograde ricochets around the planet as a whole now. This also applies to anything already in motion. Perhaps, your solitary holiday or meditation weekend is already under way.
When it is travelling backwards, Mercury has a funny way of upending things, though. At best, you can waste your precious time as you go back to the drawing board. A Plan B and C is sensible. So is a written agreement, not just a promise.
Nobody likes being weighed down or held back, but you will have to wait until February 14th, 2026, to see this end, Sagittarius. Until then, at least you have an escape path. A way out. An alternative. It’s as ‘real’ as the rather heavy reality and yet, you would not call it real world. That stops on January 26th of 2026.
You have to get through November and December, though, so cultivate patience for temporary restrictions involving your relatives, anyone at home with you, real estate, renovations, redecoration and also your hometown and homeland. Big hold-up. Not much wriggle room. And yet, and yet, you know that you also have a bubble to ride around in too. You can never learn too much or know too much in this cycle. The wider you leave yourself to make mistakes and fate, the more difficult this cycle will be. So, build a plan that works and stick to it.
Take a deep breath, research strategies and get as much outside advice as you can. How will you know if your strategy is sound? Firstly, it will have worked before for other people. Secondly, it will be absolutely right for now (check the internet to get the latest). You can be dealing with mortgage interest rate increases, delayed building schedules, difficult flatmates, home repair costs…you name it.
Your relationship with your parents, your close relatives (anyone from sisters to uncles) and your own immediate family (your partner and children) also needs attention. The in-laws. Accept the things you cannot change and then be patient enough and smart enough to slog away and make things work. The Disneyland alternative you have is just as valid and viable as the TINA situation. There Is No Alternative. Strange. But it stops.
The revolution is back from November 2025 – April 2026. It will set you free, but it will also confront you with the last thing you expected. You already saw this 2018 – 2024 with a couple of huge changes in your life. Job. Study. Unpaid role. Health. Mental health. So, none of this is new. Yet, it will also come from nowhere. Stay flexible and open in November as you will need to zigzag when life also zigzags.
The realities of your particular role in life will demand more flexibility than you imagined. Do treat your body with the respect you would give to a vintage Rolls Royce. Your body is a machine now. Do the Rolls before the Rolls carries other people. This may involve quite a radical move on your part. Going vegetarian. Ditching a doctor. Taking up boxing. Getting a rescue dog so you can walk more.
A very different set of strategies, rituals and routines which means abandoning the previously carefully constructed schedule, weekly list and plan seems likely. You’ll be liberated by that by Easter 2026. Check in every few weeks or so to see if these systems you’ve developed to manage the ‘predictably unpredictable’ with work, your wellbeing and routine are actually worth all your effort. Learn as you go. If you are unemployed or have a full-time home life, the same issues face you now. It’s day in and day out after all. Whatever your body is doing now, you need to look for the freedom from/freedom through (and you will) but you also need to work, work, work at it. This is the very last time you ever go through this transit, Sagittarius from November 2025 to April 2026.

Mercury Retrograde Cycles in your friends, social media, social life and groups zone at this time of year make it necessary to have a Plan B and C for parties in particular. Mercury the messenger is also important when he goes over old ground, stops or sets off on a path where he will soon turn backwards or get stuck.
During these Mercury Retrograde cycles, you will need to focus on your way with the written and spoken word and your ability to make a lot of connections very quickly. This will be the case on social media or with a particular friend, but it runs backwards now. Backwards. Stop-start. Have a Plan B and C. Get it in writing and read the fine print. Those are the rules. People change their minds. They’re too late – or much too early – and sometimes they don’t turn up at all.

This unusual, unpredictable Uranus transit is about courtship, heirs, spares and pretenders to your throne. So, sons, daughters or lovers now. Dating. Godchildren or stepchildren and so on. You know about the revolution because it started in 2018. Since then, you realise every sudden change sets you free. You may want to tackle important independence issues about babies or children with one eye on a final April 2026 deadline. This applies to your own sons or daughters if you have them or godchildren, nieces and nephews. Grandchildren. It also applies to the world of children in general (for example, any professional connection you might have to students or teenagers or an unpaid involvement with the young). And on the way, an alternative ‘real world’ with them or for them. Who or what you see reflected there will teach you about how to make things work between now and February 14th. The waiting game. The obstacles. Yet, again, you have an escape. There are two deadlines in 2026 regarding all you earn, own or owe – and the first is the end of a way out, a way through or an escape from reality (like a loan). So, that’s January 26th, 2026. The second is a waiting game, test of patience and heavy restrictions. So, that’s February 14th.
Meanwhile the entire world is having Mercury Retrograde in the share market, tariff, cryptocurrency and national budget zone. Zigzag with the zigzag, Aquarius. This is about your income, assets and debts. Your property, business or charity. If you did the right things 18-19 years ago, then in the second half of 2026 – you will gain, karmically, with finance, property, charity, possessions or business. And yet, you still have those two key dates. The bubble world vanishes on the 26th of January, and the obstacle course disappears on February 14th. You may know each other intimately (it’s your ex-wife and she wants you to sell the house or it’s your business partner and he wants to talk numbers).
You also have this freedom ride with the house, apartment and any real estate between now and April 2026. Freedom always comes when the world turns upside-down and he/she/they/that is released. That is what is about to happen with your home, property, household, family, town or country. The predictably unpredictable. Well, you must now do your best to invent a financial, business or property game plan which will suit. This could be a case of trial and error.
November 2025 – April 2026 is a symbol of quite complex relationships of all kinds. So, in connection with all that you earn, own or owe, there is no ‘final’ yet. There is a long trail back and forth. Try not to push or rush some kind of delivery that your horoscope says is not possible. You are better off surfing the waves of change as they roll in with a relative (say) or a wife (perhaps) or your old boyfriend (maybe) – and the numbers.
Get it in writing, read the fine print and have a Plan B and C. This now applies to your career, academic career or unpaid work until December 11th/12th, 2025.
