Aries – Mercury Retrograde in your Fifth House is showing up as a loop or circuit involving courtship, the bedroom, babies, infants, children, teenagers or young adults. The loop will finish near August 25th, 2025. There is a lot going on here. It’s complicated. However, you can at least rely on the final, finished facts or figures once you are past the 25th and make proper decisions from there.
Long-term? There are excellent solutions and opportunities beginning in around 12 months from now taking you into 2027. In fact, some of those open doors will come because of what is happening now, Aries. You can personalise this prediction for yourself by turning to the Tarot on my website here.

Taurus – Thinking about the house, apartment, garden, household, family circle (even your town or country) as a work in progress helps. It’s better than feeling as if you are merely grinding your wheels or waiting for others to stop spinning their own. Around August 25th, 2025, the loop ends. The reversals and rehearsals of July (and now) finish and you will have a far better idea of where certain conversations or paperwork sits. This is actually the kernel of something terrific one year on into the future (from mid-2026) which suggests that the best is yet to come. Perhaps, the big solution you need long-term.

Gemini – Mercury is your ruling planet, so his retrograde motions affect you more than most. The rehearsals, revisions, rescheduling and reversals – the rethinking or retractions – have concerned your brother, sister or cousin in the first instance. This is far more concrete from around the 25th of August 2025 when there is no more back and forth.
Your internet, computer or media existence has also been affected by Mercury Retrograde. Clearly, something is up. Ever since July, the revolution has been on with a rather unpredictable situation in tow. The usual disruption and new freedom of Uranus in Gemini (in your natal Third House) has been matched by Mercury appearing to reverse in your solar Third House. So, things are churning and turning – not just with siblings or cousins, but also with particular projects and plans. Finally, short journeys or commuting is very much affected by the same cycle. Have a Plan B and C.

Cancer – When it comes to your finances or property, you have ongoing transformation cycles (with Pluto in Aquarius). But now, some short-term reversal and rehearsal as well. That’s down to Mercury in Leo at the other end of your chart.
I’m sure you wish it would all settle down, but you do need to allow until around August 25th, 2025, to finalise figures or firm up discussions. This may involve internet banking (for example), unstable share prices, other people’s communication issues and so on. Even the humble post office can be the culprit on Mercury Retrograde. When the planet of communication, information and negotiation finally clears his loop towards the end of the month, you can attempt something like a proper life budget. January/February 2026 seem like deadlines for a major decision as you must find what (or who) offers you empowerment and taking back control.

Leo – The reversals and rehearsals concerning your appearance, reputation, name, shape, style, portrait and profile will now take you on the final circuit for the month. It really is all about you at the moment. Your First House of image is occupied by Mercury Retrograde (on the turn) but also Fortuna, Proserpina, the Sun, Panacea and Cupido. You are permitted to focus on yourself and how your mirror (or the internet) reflects you.
Just remember to have a Plan B and C as it will not be until August 25th, 2025, (+/- 24 hours depending on your time zone) that you know where you stand. There may need to be a revised version of your July or August debut (for example) or your relaunch at that time. Did you know that the foundations for far greater success (from July 2026) are being laid now with this first, second, third attempt for yourself?

Virgo – Religion, psychiatry, psychology, meditation, mediumship, Tarot, psychics, spirituality and even the total rejection of God all belong to the current Mercury cycle. Mercury Retrograde is with you as this is also your planetary ruler. You are far more affected by the usual spinning wheels (and stuck wheels) than others.
This entire situation peters out by August 26th, 2025, after which you can write off particular delays, cancellations or rescheduled plans. If you have Pisces factors in your personal chart, then you can double the general message about spinning wheels. But long-term, there is a point to all this. It’s really about 2026 and the end of a chapter and start of a new one. This applies if you don’t have Pisces factors too.

Libra – The situation with your friends, inner circle, team, club, group and so on is unresolved. Ever since July, you have been going backwards and forwards or finding yourself stuck. This ends near August 25th, 2025, when Mercury (the planet of information and transportation) finishes his circuit. Until then, you may want to make allowances for more rescheduling or cancellation as this is far from fully resolved. Yet, from the current situation will eventually come welcome new opportunities (big opportunities, too) this time next year.

Scorpio – Mercury Retrograde has a reputation even among non-astrologers for coinciding with large-scale reversals, delays, cancellations and standstills – worldwide. For you, this cycle is about your career, unpaid vocation or academic career. What was ‘done’ in July or earlier in August 2025 was never really done at all. In fact, you have until about the 25th of this month to see what happens when the knitting is unravelling then put back together and then reshaped again.
However, far more important than a currently unreliable information or process is the presence of Saturn, Chiron and Neptune in Aries in your Sixth House of work. This covers unpaid work as well as study. Also, wellbeing if that is an issue. You have a major choice to make in a few weeks as you must find a way to have your holiday from reality while still honouring big demands on your patience.

Sagittarius – The usual connections, communications and concrete contacts don’t really function on this cycle. Mercury Retrograde has been picking up foreigners, foreign countries, publishing, academia and the worldwide web in your chart. Normally, at this time of year, you would have everything in place – as if it was heading in a straight line. But instead, the line is zigzag. This goes on until around August 25th, 2025, so you may want to accommodate the delays, changes or reversals.
If you were born in the last days of November, this may be far more than just a loop. You currently have Uranus in opposition to your Sun (or moving there) and your usual identity (very much about foreigners or foreign countries) is under challenges.

Capricorn – You’re in the most important financial, property and business cycle for years with prospects looking up (in 12 months) and current complications almost over. In fact, around August 25th, 2025, the reversals and rehearsals of July (and this week) will be behind you. Your fellow Capricorn Kate Moss just saw her skincare line go into liquidation. Another fellow Capricorn, the Princess of Wales, is apparently looking for a new home with Prince William.
It may well be that you are thinking one year ahead to July/August 2026 already and that current bean-counting is part of that plan. In fact, when Jupiter with all his opportunities and solutions arrives in your finance and real estate zone in 12 months’ time, you can look back at this week and retrace your footsteps.

Aquarius – You are in a 24-month cycle of profound change in terms of babies, infants, children, teenagers and young adults. It’s the same with partners and former partners, too. You are currently in flux with Mercury Retrograde and may want to defer drawing conclusions until after August 25th, 2025, when the planet of communication and information is back to normal. At the moment, he’s still not cleared his long loop. So, what you assumed in July may no longer be relevant.
Why the longer-term change? First of all, your ruler Uranus is in your sector of heirs, spares and pretenders to your throne – but also very much about the bedroom and courtship. That spells revolution after revolution. Secondly, in about a year from now, there will be opportunities and solutions with partners (new or old) which you’ve not had in 12 years.

Pisces – You have been living with Mercury Retrograde in your Sixth House of workload and wellbeing since July. The wheels have not turned forwards as normal as they have reversed or been stuck. This may have been a medical issue which has not concluded or a question about your duties, service to others, daily routine, chores, tasks and so on.
Paid work, unpaid work or study will be far more manageable after August 25th, 2025, when you find the information flow is normal again. Until then, have a Plan B and C, Pisces. For that reason, paperwork or negotiations need a watchful eye. If you have anything in Virgo in your birth chart, there is real backwards traction at the moment. Yet, if you look back at your emails from 18-19 years ago, you will realise there is a pattern or theme.
