Aries – The Second House Taurus transits now are about the evidence you have that you are doing well by being free. Perhaps, designer label clothes or accessories don’t liberate you. Bargain ‘deals’ with life itself might spell independence instead. A liberating lifestyle that costs you very little because you know how to save so cleverly can make you feel unshackled.
Into the Second House with Uranus in Taurus go questions of debt, bankruptcy, budgets, discounts, sales, theft and loans. It is neither positive nor negative for you financially. It is just the space in your horoscope where a great cycle of radical change plays itself out. Rich or poor, you learn about breaking with the past. This is one of the very last times you will do this.

Taurus – You were born with the Sun in the Second House of your natal chart using the Natural House System. Now, this is where you are weeks away from the most important revolution in years. Debbi Kempton-Smith, writing in her classic book Secrets From A Stargazer’s Notebook (Topquark Press, New York, 1999), mentions ‘your personal form of greed’ and this brings in questions about everything from food to shopping to your business ethics.
The Second House is ruled by Venus as well as your own sign of Taurus as I’ve mentioned. Copper is ruled by Venus and so this is really about the lowest currency – which bring in issues about ‘how low can you go’ in terms of your bargains or perhaps ‘how low can he/she/they sink?’ You do have a crucial decision pending ready for July 2025. Gemini – We associate hanging on (and holding on) with the Second House where we now find Jupiter in Cancer together with your ruler Mercury in your chart. Possessiveness can be fixed on this transit – Jupiter is a great problem-solver. Scrooge-like behaviour can be eradicated, and grasping can become history. A really good test now?
Hang price tags on life and see what Jupiter can do. So, rather than accept that such-and-such costs a particular number of dollars, euros or pounds, think about the actual cost of all that money cannot buy. Peace of mind. Integrity. Respect from other people. Credibility. Integrity is the big one! Jupiter in Cancer can only pass through your life budget chart once every 12 years.
Margaret (Peg) Hone associated Taurus with ‘earth and all that is grown from it’ as well as the farmer. She also associated this sign with beauty in art and the art dealer. Cancer – Something as major as a global economic and property transit (the end of Uranus in Taurus and the start of Jupiter in Cancer) can show you when these matters regarding your salary, income, bonuses and the rest can be pretty personal too. Leo – In this imminent Third House natal cycle of Uranus in Gemini about to begin in July 2025, you will be asking yourself how you are heard and read these days. How you get through to other people and communicate. This may be about the worldwide web (which is often strictly visual), face-to-face communications and a radically different way of listening. When we go to your solar chart, we find similar issues about foreign languages or cultural differences. So, it’s all connected.

Virgo – You are now entering the final days of Uranus in Taurus in your Ninth House of foreigners and foreign places. Centuries ago, this was the sea voyage transit. Libra – Being understood and understanding are central to Ninth House cycles. You currently have Uranus in Gemini poised to enter your Ninth House – making waves from July 2025. Jupiter just left, so this is a transition week. Thus, we associate your plans now with students and teachers. Scorpio – Your daily routine? Your workload and your well-being? The more you have simplified, micro-managed and maintained some kind of order – the less confusing life will be. Sagittarius – Karma rolls whenever you have the North Node in Pisces in your Fourth House of family. This may be about genetics and genes, so we could be talking about your grandparents and where they come from. Real estate and property is also karmic on this cycle and owes a lot to life 18-19 years ago. This cycle is as much about your houseboat, caravan or holiday home as it is about your apartment. Capricorn – You now have Chiron, Saturn and Neptune all in Aries – all in your Fourth House. Aquarius – If you must make your clan or sanctuary the priority this week, it’s no surprise. You are having double transits now with Jupiter in Cancer in your natal Fourth House and Uranus in Taurus in your solar Fourth House. The Fourth House is about family and home. A few signs are having this dual (public and private) cycle. This is the first and last time in your adult life this will ever take place.
In fact, you have multiple Cancer transits. The famous Cancer glyph (or astrological shorthand) also resembles a person carefully carrying two eggs. We associate mother hens and chicks with this cycle. A mother hen type can be a clucking nuisance! Issues about mothering can arise now. Always in the context of freedom, space and independence too – it must be said.
A sign-off decision for you or others is emerging with a real moment of truth in July 2025. The word ‘home’ lends itself to some familiar themes and undercurrents on this cycle. Pisces – Your Fourth House is where we find your family and your house or apartment. You are one of several signs having a dual solar and natal transit of your Fourth House of home now. Jupiter has only recently left your solar Fourth and Uranus is poised to enter in July 2025. Meanwhile, in your birth chart, Jupiter is entering your fourth. Talk about planetary traffic!
Writing in The Contemporary Astrologer’s Handbook, Sue Tompkins suggests your Fourth House shows “where you are coming from.” Your foundations – both psychological and geographical. She calls it “the most private house” and it’s where you firmly shut the door. No two charts are exactly alike. You will have your own personal story taking place in terms of both sides of the family tree, your own household (perhaps flatmates/roommates are the story), your nationality and what you consider your hometown and country to be.
If you have anything in the zodiac sign of Cancer, this is a crucial week of new hope for the future and new opportunities too. By June 2026 (at the very latest), you will have been shown what is possible and why it’s so big. You may also be aware of quite revolutionary new possibilities from July 2025 (next month) too.
