Aries – Pluto in Aquarius emphasises who/what cannot agree, compromise or meet in the middle in your life. It also shows you the group, social or social media solution. This week is a time of reckoning. Pluto is about the most intense questions about control. So, there are polar opposites here.
You will either be at odds with yourself and experiencing an internal conflict or at odds with other people, large organisations – or even whole situations – which you simply cannot meet halfway regarding all of this (above). A band is a classic example. The Troggs had musical differences. What do you have? Or this may be Facebook if you’re even on there. Willpower is empowering and self-control gives you control. This may be a political party or an old friend, but the answer is staring you in the face.

Taurus – Mercury now goes into your solar Fourth House of family, real estate and home. You know that Mercury is about discussion, meetings, news, paperwork and the internet. You have the same area of your life picked up in both your solar and natal chart, so this is public and private.
Mars is also in Virgo which rules the younger generation in the family or at home. It also rules courtship and the bedroom. Classically, though, this new cycle is about children, godchildren, stepchildren, grandchildren and so on. Mars raises the emotional temperature and the stakes. Time, patience and tolerance are lower than usual. You need to be aware of this now as you go into the end of the year. Because anything that is unresolved or unfinished from this week may become an issue later, particularly, when Mars runs around your chart. As always, a strategy and a plan is far better than just a reaction.

Gemini – What is under discussion now (financially) is also in the spotlight. The information flow will typically be quite swift at this point as Mercury transits move everything through rapidly – particularly online. Mercury is your ruler. This may be your house, salary, mortgage, apartment, credit card, shares, business, insurance, tax return and so on.
This week suggests a moment of truth. This is the time to look back at life since the start of June 2025 and understand the pattern. Are you resisting an opportunity or even looking a gift horse in the mouth? That can happen. Hopefully, you’re signing up!
‘Out with the old, in with the new’ is the best approach with Jupiter in Cancer. Today, embracing tomorrow is a sensible thing to do on this cycle. The old ways and the good old days of the old budget may no longer be relevant. If you can see that the trade-off is greater expansion in exchange for old certainties and security, it should be easier for you to live with what is taking place now.

Cancer – This new Mars in Virgo cycle in the natal Sixth House is about your duty to your employers (or staff), but also your duty to yourself. Your own well-being. This involves your health, fitness and mental health. Dentists, doctor or nurses. Yet, also, your everyday workload. William Lilly associated the Sixth House with illness and disease, but also with tenants and servants. Day-labourers, farmers and shepherds. It’s also associated with pets. So, it’s about being fit enough to walk the dog. And feed it.
Globally, everyone has Mars in Virgo now. The Sixth House is about the working class and ‘the services.’ This may involve the people you hire or pay, but also yourself if you are in (for example) a trade union. If you work for yourself, it is about the reality of being your own boss. Your self-care. You have some huge choices coming up. All quite new.
Meanwhile, in your solar Tenth House of ambition, position and mission, you are also concerned with your job, unpaid job or academic career. If you have anything in Virgo in your birth chart, it’s decision time. And it’s also quite rapid.

Leo – Mercury enters Leo this week and your natal Fifth House where we also find the Sun in the Natural House System. You may or may not have children, godchildren or young relatives. You may or may not have work which involves babies, infants, schoolchildren, teenagers or young adults. Yet, one way or another, this cycle will remind you that the next generation inherits you. You have quite the discussion or signature ahead, Leo.
Sexual relationships from one-night stands to long-standing marriages is also part of any Fifth House cycle because of the chance of pregnancy or, perhaps, a commitment involving the existing children of one person or his/her younger relatives. You also have Pluto transiting Aquarius and your Seventh House of partnership. Change is afoot. That’s putting it mildly. This isn’t just a tweak, it’s part of total transformation. Slowly.

Virgo – You now have the North Node in Pisces – the sign ruling your marriage, de facto relationship, dating situation and, crucially, the involvement with your ex. As you might have gathered, there is no generalisation or one-fits-all interpretation of this cycle because human beings are as varied as their sexuality.
We could find Elton John and his husband here in the Seventh House, but your private life is your private life. Sometimes the partnership is purely platonic or professional. You have no interest in the ring or the cake or even two names on a lease. Again, the North Node in Pisces will pick this duet up this week – however you play it.
Do you have Leo factors in your birth chart? If so, the accent is on sons, daughters, stepchildren and godchildren. The education system, children’s parks, playgrounds and all kinds of toys from adult toys in the bedroom to genuine children’s toys are part of the Fifth House. The idea about creativity on this cycle likely comes from the idea of conception. A brainchild, not a child. There will be a lot of talking ahead, Virgo, if you do have Leo factors.

Libra – Pluto in your Fifth House in Aquarius aspects Jupiter this week. Historic. Unusual. There is huge potential on this cycle once you understand it is not just about the people born 20 years or so after yourself. It is about future (younger) generations of children and teenagers who may not inherit your DNA but will inherit your wider influence. I have known readers on this cycle that become an unofficial ‘aunt’ or ‘uncle’ figure to their friend’s children. They become known by that title in the household. Children’s charities can become unusually important. An unemployed adult son may return home (for example).
At the heart of the Fifth House is Leo and its ruler the Sun. We talk about a pride of lions. There is great pride here to be built up or, perhaps, repaired (if wounded) regarding babies, children, teenagers and young people. Are you leading as you truly should? This shows up in both charts I use for you – solar and natal.
Mercury is in your natal Fifth and Pluto is in your solar Fifth. This cycle is not so much about ‘having’ younger people in your life or ‘having’ a daughter. It is about the path of the Sun and Leo the lion – shining, mentoring, tutoring, guiding, setting an example and showing the way. Are you a brilliant godparent, a teacher or not?

Scorpio – We now have a slew of transits in your solar Sixth House ruled by Aries. Food and alcohol are Sixth House matters as well as allergies and food intolerances. Homeopathy, naturopathy, acupuncture, Reiki and all the alternatives are certainly likely concerns now. So is a daily workout or regular swim (for example). It’s about routine. It’s very much about your birth chart too where Mars is in the natal Sixth House. So you have this transit publicly and privately this week.
If we go right back to the Middle Ages and old astrology, we find this house described as Valetudo which is the core of the word ‘valetudinarian’ which translates as hypochondria to varying degrees. And, of course, this can get in the way of your workload. The word ‘valet’ hidden inside Valetudo is instructive. A Valet de chambre was a 14th century French court assistant who worked as an apothecary. King Louis XIII had a premier valet who was also his surgeon. Of course, servants can be infected by a King too.
I mention all this because the whole world is having a Mars in Virgo transit this week and you need to be aware of what the Sixth House is about. Your first duty is to your own physical and mental health. Not to work. Or housework. Or study.

Sagittarius – You are ending one work and well-being cycle in July 2025 and starting another right now. If you have anything in Virgo in your birth chart, you can double its importance. Mars is in Virgo. Both Google and Facebook came into the world with ‘birth’ charts revealing Jupiter in Virgo in 2003 and 2004. Virgo and the Sixth house are associated with analysis and categorisation. The dissection of information and how it is graded and listed. Click!
When we turn to your solar chart, we find Uranus with all his uncertainty, instability, freedom, space and independence about to leave you. Years of this with your so-called daily routine is at an end in July. Order, neatness, efficiency and method are very much the terrain of the Sixth House. On this cycle, you find out what you need, what you can do on a practical level and what you can (or cannot) improve. You are now pulling focus on this. Two Sixth House transits – publicly and privately – suggest July is an end game. There may be a second end game towards Christmas.

Capricorn – Jupiter in Cancer is now transiting your Seventh House of the scales. This is your first indication of gender politics. One male and one female in a situation where the balance must be worked out. Libra, Venus and the Seventh House are traditionally about a man and woman in a marriage, a de facto relationship or a professional partnership (unusual but relevant) and less commonly about a same-sex double act. Morrissey and Marr. Even then there is a huge amount of balancing to be achieved, and luck is with you now. Even so, you must attend to female-male politics quite closely.
Venus is a symbol of old-school feminine attributes, so it is time to look at vanity and envy! It is also absolutely the right time to look at how just one male (of any age) influences the chemistry with females – again of any age. There is vast potential here for the resolution of issues and the start of something new and big – greater growth.

Aquarius – Mercury enters your Seventh House of marriage, de facto partnerships and couples at-war this week. Remembering that Venus is the ruling planet here in your birth chart – questions about partners and lovers are typical. So are matters of loyalty and love, but particularly lust and how it is managed. People do fall in love, become engaged and marry on this cycle. Or separate.
It’s not just Mercury of course. It’s also the Sun in Leo from the final week of July 2025 also in your Seventh House. And the big, big factor is a very new kind of freedom and independence within weeks which will come about as you break with the past. The bedroom, courtship, parenting – it’s all up for a revolution. Mercury suggests paperwork or that a key discussion is long overdue with him or her.
Margaret Hone, writing in The Modern Textbook of Astrology (L.N. Fowler & Co. Ltd. Essex, 1951), associated Libra – the sign ruling the Seventh House – with sitting on the fence. “The constant seeing both sides leads to indecisiveness and vacillation,” she wrote. Well, you can’t do that given what is coming in July.

Pisces – You now have Mars in Virgo alongside the South Node in Virgo in your Seventh House of duets and duels. As if you even needed an astrologer to tell you! The scales are loaded. There is also the equally loaded question of ‘fighting the good fight,’ but you have to know how to pick your battles on a Seventh House cycle. It is quite common to merge with another (romantically or professionally) in a partnership where you both fight a campaign.
The best use of this transit is to join forces with your other half to triumph over the other side. A less helpful use of the transit is to battle away with a partner or even the third corner of a love triangle. That can happen too.
