Uranus enters Gemini next week and the revolution that liberates you, me and everybody else on the internet is days away. The monopoly held by American corporations will end suddenly and without warning – be it Google or Meta (Facebook). Uranus in Gemini is here for many years, but it will start with the usual crash, bang and wallop.
The stranglehold of AI over writers of all kinds will end overnight. My own book with Rachel Wells – Your Birthday (Hachette) – was pirated by Mark Zuckerberg and his organisation last year. It only came out in October. Crash, bang, wallop as I said.
Aries – Mercury is now triggering the world of the bedroom, courtship, babies, infants, children, teenagers and Millennials. The horoscope symbol which describes the internet, the post office, your telephone, your commute, short-distance air travel, television, radio and the print media moves through a zone of your chart where ‘talking about it’ can be difficult. (Unless you are Oprah Winfrey, of course, in which case you air your linen).
The fact is – all arrangements, news, promises, plans and paperwork involving that very important personal matter, are rolling this week. Get it in writing. Read the fine print. This is really crucial if you are in a new family or property situation which so many Aries people are.

Taurus – You (or the people around you) will make a fresh start with finance or property as July 2025 emerges from June. A new chapter will be written. Yet, it will be written in very different circumstances. It will be ‘the new beginning we had to have.’ If this involves the house, apartment, land or real estate, this will be most obvious through some news, a letter, email, meeting and so on.
With Mercury in Leo, this is the cycle for important agreements as it will be easier to achieve when we find Mercury (discussion, negotiation) in transit now. Even if you are between a rock and a hard place with this matter – an answer is close.

Gemini – This week is the start of extreme Leo weather in your sector of siblings, cousins and neighbours with Mercury bringing news and the Sun (from the last week of July2025) showing what does not add up. Or who. You have some decisions to make by the eighth month of the year. We’re going to see the Sun in Leo and Mercury moving very swiftly through the sign with a ‘blink and it’s over’ episode for you which nevertheless dominates August. I mention this because your sector of siblings, cousins and neighbours also shows up in your birth chart.
Uranus enters Gemini and the revolution begins. Now, this may be linked to new solutions and opportunities with finances, too. Banking and insurance. Mortgage and marriage. Legacy and inheritance. Taxation. This cycle is not so much about day-to-day income and what you do with it (although it obviously adds up). Rather, it is about larger assets and debts. So, houses, apartments, jewellery, art and other valuables possessions. Trust funds, heirlooms or big loans.

Cancer – Scorpio is a water sign. It rules your natal Eighth House of sex, death and money. Marriage and mortgage. The family inheritance. Until death do us part and for richer, for poorer. Your Eighth House is now triggered by Pluto, the planet of transformation. Emotional and complex, the Eighth shows up as a major source of control questions (ongoing). It is the scorpion who can kill (or be killed) during mating, who attracted the old astrologers many centuries ago as a symbol of the marriage vow. Thus, ‘Until death do we part’ and ‘In sickness and in health’ too. Weddings are very much about celebration which is the Libra side of them.
The Scorpio side (the reality of mortality) is usually kept hidden. Divorce is Eighth House. The Eighth House is about the most intricate and intense aspects of love and sex. It’s often best expressed in music. We hear lyrics about ‘I’ll die if you leave me’ and so on. To the Eighth House in a black limousine arrives every tangled emotion. Love and jealousy. Passion and fear. Manipulation and adoration. Control and desire. This can go far, far beyond the obvious example of marriage and mortgage which I mentioned. The link between Pluto and Jupiter is still with you and your ability to run your own show, master your own territory and control your own turf is not in question. You will become so much more powerful.

Leo – You have important transits in your solar Second House ruled by Virgo and your natal Second House ruled by Taurus. This is a sign-off from years of national, global and personal instability. Erratic, eccentric and sideways Uranus has been in Taurus ruling Wall Street and bull markets since 2018. You have been affected more than other signs because of your own solar chart transits, Leo.
Banks and banking are associated with the Eighth House and all its cycles because of their very nature. You now have the North Node in the solar Eighth House and the South Node in the solar Second House. Karmic! When you borrow money from a banker to buy an apartment, house or other residence, you are ‘getting into bed with’ an institution which takes a particular interest in what happens to that property should you pass on before the loan is paid. Filling out a mortgage application involves questions about AIDS. They do call this the ‘sex, death and money’ transit and it relates to all that you are owed (or perhaps owe) from 18-19 years before.

Virgo – You now have natal and solar transits which focus you on money or property. In your solar chart, you have Saturn, Chiron and Neptune in the Eighth House. In your natal chart, Uranus is leaving your Second House – your life budget. It is highly unlikely that you are going to turn your hand to disposing of up to six wives on this cycle. Yet, I hope you are getting a feel for the Eighth House which loomed large in the life of Henry VIII. When abortion was illegal, it was concealed. Yet it was a risk for every prostitute or mistress in the 1950’s. And, as any fan of detective fiction set in the 1950’s will know, murder was sometimes the end of a marriage. Is all this too dark and too deep? Not for some Virgo people. Suffice to say, the more work you do now on the financial and real estate side of your life, the better. That way, September – October 2025 is far easier.

Libra – Well, this is a big month for the end of instability, uncertainty, upheaval and regular shockwaves regarding your finances and property. You have seen it all since 2018 with Uranus in Taurus transiting your solar Eighth House, Libra. In your birth chart, we find Uranus in Taurus leaving your Second House which is about your personal budget. Accepting the realities of dual incomes, joint bank accounts, the cost of raising children, the mutual household budget and so on is part of this end-game cycle. As a married couple, you may begin a charitable foundation (for example) or pour your time and energy into a philanthropic trust.
So, as much as the Eighth House might appear to be about the darkest, deepest subjects, it can also radiate light. You have been surfing the waves of change for a very long time – no matter if this is about your husband, former wife, the family, the lawyers and so on. Just when you think you’re on a roll, you are not. It’s neither negative nor positive, it’s just – wild surf. Well, the ride is history in July 2025.

Scorpio – In common with many signs, you now have major financial and property cycles in your solar and natal chart. Publicly and privately. Uranus in Gemini is entering your solar Eighth House. Sagittarius – Mercury is now transiting Leo and your solar Ninth House. If it has not been trine with your Sun in your natal Ninth House – it soon will be. The Ninth House of your horoscope was called ‘Sapiens’ in old astrology and this ancient Latin word is familiar to us today in Homo Sapiens which means ‘wise man.’ You are now in a cycle when you can both pass on wisdom to other people but receive it too. This is the house of travel and travel in the mind. When you take a journey to another country, you share what you know. And you also learn. From the final week of July 2025, this picks up even more importance for you.
Travel in the mind is a feature of this cycle which brings you to the worldwide web, schools, colleges and universities. Libraries and bookshops. Publishing houses and lecture halls. Workshops and seminars. You do not have to pack your bags or board an aeroplane to a foreign country to learn. Thanks to Tim Berners-Lee, the worldwide web has brought the globe to your door. Capricorn – Virgo rules the Ninth House of your chart and the archer with his bow and arrow is a reminder of distant targets. Mars in Virgo is now there with the South Node in Virgo too. Most unusual. Remote places within your own region, perhaps, or a remote part of town (if you are not going too far) are part of the story now. More likely, so are countries where you travel, temporarily relocate or even permanently emigrate. As you adjust and adapt to the new environment and the new rules – so too do you educate the locals as well. Mars speeds things up. Hot potato issues emerge. Aquarius – You now have natal and solar transits in your Third House of ideas, information, the local scene, your neighbours, the internet (applied regionally or across a border) and connections of all kinds. Three transits in Aries in your solar chart and Uranus in Gemini landing in your birth chart. That’s big. You may find yourself becoming a bit of a guru on this cycle or, perhaps, a capital G – Guru. It is just as common to adopt a mentor, teacher or guiding light. Aside from the labels that publishers put on authors, this is far more likely to be a person with spiritual or religious importance or a person who is associated with a particular philosophy. Astrology sceptics like Professor Brian Cox are gurus of scientism, for example.
A couple of familiar cautionary notes from astrologers of old. Margaret Hone, writing in The Modern Textbook of Astrology, suggests the idea of ‘covering distance’ with Sagittarius (the ruler of your natal Ninth House) and the thought that ‘it is better to travel, than to arrive.’ This fits your Ninth House cycles publicly and privately very well. Apart from the cautions above as the Ninth House is ruled by Jupiter, it is a positive, expansive, beneficial area of your chart. This is where you grow – intellectually and spiritually. Uranus suggests with new inventions too.

Pisces – You have every right to be hopeful about courtship, the bedroom, babies, infants, children, teenagers and Millennials. Jupiter in Cancer is here. Jupiter is an ancient symbol of optimism. If you have Cancer factors in your birth chart, the family circle, the household, the house, garden or apartment offers more space and more potential. You may move in with a new girlfriend who has a larger domain (for example) or find you can take yourself and the children into a place with more rooms. You have 12 months of this.
We associate Jupiter with ‘more, greater, bigger, larger’ and its own sign Sagittarius with the long reach of an arrow. Thus, it is higher hopes – sexually or emotionally – which fall into this cycle. Just a word of caution – you can lead a horse to water in astrology, but you cannot make it drink. If you are offered an obviously beddable new prospect and don’t take it, it is very unlikely to come back! If your child is offered a place at a prestigious school and you are procrastinating, don’t spend too long. Again, it may not come back.
