Astrology and Rupert Murdoch 2022
We will see the end of an era for the Murdoch media empire, starting in February 2022, and peaking in May that year. It’s going to have an impact on the Conservative and Labour parties in the United Kingdom, and transform the nation.
We have an acceptable B-rated natal chart for Rupert Murdoch, thanks to the data collectors at Astro.com and it’s very clear. For a man who is watched by other media, even successful rivals like NBC (NBC image: below/main image) this is a real moment of truth. The major pattern at 15 Taurus (a shock to global big business) takes place with Ceres (a carve-up) in Gemini (the media) and Mercury Retrograde in Gemini, right through May 2022. We also have an eclipse in Scorpio, then, on 16th May 2022, which is always a cover-up. So, even though I am looking into the future a year in advance – something is up.
Rupert Murdoch and British Politics
On 4th February 2022 we see a trigger to Murdoch’s chart not possible in about 29 years. He was born with the extreme pattern, below. Note Aries (battles, duels, combat, competition – and football) with Libra (duets and duels) and Chiron (finance). Well, starting on 4th February 2022, that pattern will be shaken up, like the contents of a snowdome.
Mr. Murdoch – Pisces, Aries, Libra, Taurus
Pisces is the interesting factor here, in Mr. Murdoch’s birth chart, because it rules religion, mediumship, psychics, witchcraft, Tarot, Tibetan Buddhism, the I-Ching, psychologists, dreams, hypnosis, psychologists and psychiatrists. It’s the odd one out.
You’d have to suspect Murdoch’s soul is a mystery to everybody except himself. And maybe one other confidante. This is the pattern: even if the birth time is wrong, this would still hold:

The 1992 British Election Karma
Every time that 15-degree pattern is triggered in the Murdoch horoscope, we see a duel (Aries-Libra) or contest. And we see his business interests. Inevitably, it’s about an election, which Murdoch’s media becomes heavily involved with. In fact, at one point, his newspaper, The Sun, claimed to have taken over.
It’s The Sun Wot Won It
On 11th April 1992 The Sun famously declared, IT’S THE SUN WOT WON IT in relation to the Conservative victory in the British election.
This headline came just ten days after Saturn at 15 Aquarius had moved right across Rupert Murdoch’s chart. Even some Conservatives acknowledged that The Sun contributed to their election triumph, including Margaret Thatcher.
Tony Blair and Rupert Murdoch
The phrase was used again (It’s The Sun Wot Won It) by many political commentators after the 1997 general election when The Sun switched sides and supported Labour’s new leader Tony Blair. Saturn was at 15 Aries from May 10th until 18th, 1997.
You might call this 15-degree pattern the ‘kingmaker’ or ‘queenmaker’ cluster in Murdoch’s chart. To see Uranus (awakening, revolution, shock, the world turning upside-down) moving to the crucial 15 degree position in May 2022, just three months after Saturn has also been there, is unprecedented. And yes, it will affect the entire world media, because of that Ceres/Mercury in Gemini transit, too.
The Labour Party and Murdoch
The British Labour Party astrology chart shows Minerva in the Labour chart, exactly at 15 Cancer. A symbol of female wisdom in Cancer, the sign of patriotism, families and the property market.
The Conservative Party and Murdoch
Anyone who doubts that Murdoch has heavy ties to the Conservative Party, need only note that Pluto is at 15 Taurus (power, economics, values, big business) in the chart for the Tories, set for 12th November 1867 at 12.00 LMT in London (The Book of World Horoscopes, Nicholas Campion, The Wessex Astrologer, 2004).
4th February 2022 and The Sun – Watch the Future
Now, on 4th February 2022 – the Sun is conjunct Saturn 15 Aquarius. That is heavy, unusual and a moment of truth for Murdoch in relation to his political choices. It is typical of astrology that the Sun (in the heavens) and The Sun (the newspaper) should be tied through synchronicity.
The Flashback to 1992
On 4th February 2022, there will be a flashback to March 22nd through April 1st 1992 – and that transit of Saturn at 15 Aquarius. So this is about an election, again, and Rupert Murdoch, again. Both the Conservative Party and Labour Party charts are hit.
May 2022 and Murdoch – From News to Fox
What is really interesting is three months later, in the historic year of 2022 – Uranus (the shock, the revolution, the world turning upside-down) – goes to 15 Taurus. The last thing anybody expected to happen, will happen. The future will come rocketing into the present and the world will turn upside-down.
PM Boris Johnson and Tory Transformation
This is a transformation within the Conservative party, currently led by PM Boris Johnson as I write this on Sunday 9th May 2021. This is as striking and unusual as (say) the Second World War, in terms of its impact on the Tories, their business ties, their political donors and their values. In fact, the last time we saw this was March 1939.
The Uranus-Pluto Conjunction
This is a direct hit on Pluto (control) at 15 Taurus (big business, party donors, the economy, values) in the Tory chart. It is that rare thing; a Uranus-Pluto conjunction. This is a shock to those in control.
This lightning bolt in 2022, also picks up that 15 Cancer position (patriotism, families, the property market) in the Labour chart. It absolutely spins the Murdoch chart in all directions at once. We’ve not seen this in his working lifetime.
Jaws on the Floor in Murdoch World
Specifically, we would be expecting jaws to hit the floor, in Murdoch’s family and business circle, and his political circles, between May 9th and 26th, 2022. This transit can only happen once in Rupert Murdoch’s adult life, as I’ve said. For his business empire, from Fox to News, this is a lightning bolt. It’s rather like the French Revolution crossed with the Industrial Revolution, if we’re talking about British politics and the media.
The United Kingdom Chart
There are many charts for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, but the 1st January 1801 chart is popular and shows Venus at 16 Aquarius. This is just one degree away from that 15-degree pile-up in the charts for Murdoch, Labour and the Conservatives.
The Roman Invasion Chart
Actually, we can go back to the first chart we have for the country, set for the Roman Invasion and find Saturn at 15 Leo. So – you would have to say, the entire nation, from its Roman ruin foundations, to its Victorian architecture, is going to shake (along with the Murdoch empire) from May 9th to 26th, 2022.
The Next UK Election
The next election in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is set for Thursday 2nd May, 2024. Of course, it could be triggered earlier. One thing is certain. Mr. Murdoch’s extreme fate is tied to that of both major British political parties, and the nation, in February and again, in May 2022.
Watching September 2022
The third momentous month in 2022 for the Murdoch Empire and the United Kingdom, is September. The North Node of karma moves to 15 Taurus. The South Node of ‘soul accounting’ and spiritual debts and credits, moves to 15 Scorpio. At the same time we see Chiron move to 15 Aries.
This is also a deep dive into the astrological chart of the Conservative Party. This sort of combination rocks the inner economics of Murdoch and the Tories, but it also makes England Shake, to quote P.J. Harvey. Again, in September 2022, we see Mars in Gemini, the media sign, so if you ever wondered when something would change within the British political, television and newspapers system – next year, is that year.

Yesterday, 11 May, my 8 year old daughter Amelinda (prefer if you don’t post the name), born June 10, 2012, died suddenly due to, I think an allergic reaction within a few minutes. Could this have been prevented with your horoscope work?

Perhaps, I asked too many questions. I am uncontrollably sobbing and so is my wife in between daily moments. I was not even with her and the family. I was and am still in a different country…
To not know how somebody passed, or why, is one of the toughest things anyone can go through. People who have a sudden loss are also in shock. Are you aware of the work of Elizabeth Kubler-Ross? She worked with death and dying, and in fact made it her life’s work. More recently, we’re seeing a lot of work from people who are bereaved by COVID-19, so you and your wife are not alone and will find what you need, when you need it, online. I was friends with a medium named Margaret Dent and we worked on the same radio station in Sydney. Margaret lost her own brother very suddenly and struggled to understand why that happened to her and why her spirit guides did not warn her. Her book, Love Never Dies, begins with that story. He also passed too young. What Margaret found (and she is here with me now, in spirit) and what I will pass on to you – is that we have had many lives. You may trust this, or you may not believe it, but as a medium myself, I can tell you that it is true. The great comfort of Tibetan Buddhism is that it acknowledges these many lives. We have all been here many times before and will be back many times again. And our stay on earth, even if it is short, has a purpose. Always, always a spiritual purpose. So it may be to teach compassion, or forgiveness, or it may be to strengthen family relationships and so on. When children pass, in particular, it seems desperately wrong and unfair, but mediums have met enough children in spirit, to know that they are safe and well on the other side of life, and that spiritual growth and soul growth and development comes from their departure – for those left behind. Something I can tell you is that when spirit people go to the other side, they find a way of communicating, if they want it, and you want it, and your own spirit guides decide the time is right. So dreams are one way. And there may be unmistakeable signs and signals. The spirit world chooses their timing so that we are able to take the connection and incorporate the new link into our lives, rather than find it too challenging. Perhaps the time is right now for you and your wife, perhaps it will be later, but you need to know that you will be helped to deal with this. Spirit children are immediately met by other family members or friends who have passed, and by guides. They are taken to a place called Summerland which is the most beautiful garden, more colourful and vibrant than we will ever know. They can stay there if they wish or move into other spaces, always being helped and guided. In fact, I once had a client who had a terminal illness (she was a teacher but had no children) and she was told she would become a guide for very young people, when she passed. This is exactly what happened and she was very happy about that. Your progress will come and go, so be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to feel okay for some of the time, and then cry the rest. I do think it is time to turn to the books, videos and websites which can help so you know you are not alone and you know there is hope. Have a look at Gordon Smith on YouTube (outstanding medium) and see if you can find Margaret Dent’s book. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross’s work is incredible. Yes, heartbreaking to lose a child suddenly and not know the cause. The very worst thing, perhaps, anyone can go through. Thank you for your kind words. And as for the Murdoch empire; I was never going to write about Rupert Murdoch. I have worked for his newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, in Sydney and authored books for his publishing company HarperCollins. Then someone on Twitter asked me and I took a look. This is seismic change. We don’t know why. But it tallies with a global shift in media ownership.

Varun, I have said repeatedly that there is no vaccine. There are attempts at vaccines, by different corporations, from different countries. AstraZeneca failed against the South African variant. In America, we have just seen a baseball team get infected with COVID-19 despite double vaccination. Astrology has a really long history of predicting plague and also managing plague, going back to the 14th century. A very old idea in astrology is mutable signs and ‘mutating’ as a concept – changing. That is older than COVID-19 and it involves Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius. We are now in mutable sign weather (long Pisces and Gemini cycles, beyond 2026) which challenge billions of people born with Virgo factors (health) and Sagittarius factors (travel). That is why there is no silver bullet, long-term. No magical miracle. As for any adverse effects from being injected with Pfizer, or Moderna, or Sputnik, or AstraZeneca, or the rest – I can’t answer that. We do know about a tiny percentage of people suffering blood clots. In terms of your own body, Varun, and what these vaccine attempts do to your system, something that is worth stating is – every body is literally different. Something about the Virgo generation, born in the Sixties with Pluto and Uranus in Virgo, tells us that individual DNA is the key to everything. We can really use that generation to see what happened in the Eighties/Nineties with the arrival of HIV-AIDS to see what is going on with COVID-19. What we learned with HIV is that it was about the individual person, his or her lifestyle, and his or her country – not the ‘one size fits all’ approach to the virus, as if it was the same for everyone. The fact is, after a public health campaign in 1987 which convinced everyone they were equally at risk from this terrible new STD, by 1990 it was clear it was affecting gay men, more. And today in 2021 there is still no vaccine for HIV/AIDS (the silver bullet people dreamed of in the Eighties) and in fact, it has become centred in Africa. This is pretty classic astrology. Generation Virgo taught us that you can’t just do sweeping generalisations about the human body. It is your body, and nobody else’s. And you have to find your own answers, about your own body, in relation to the many, many vaccine attempts which were rushed out in 2020.

I did want you to talk about the BBC but then the warmth and kindness of your response to the first poster above stopped me in my tracks.
As a follower of Tibetan Buddhism (and, as I am informed, a reincarnated Tibetan monk) I just want to emphasis that, above all else, the ideology teaches acceptance. Of course anger, grief and pain in the face of personal and communal tragedy but then acceptance and with acceptance comes insight and compassion.
In the light of recent publicity regarding the media and the Royal Family, I also want to point out that the Royal Family are very supportive of the Tibetan traditions. Your readers would be surprised at the level of communication with the abbot of Samye Ling Tibetan Centre in Scotland (who incidently has written a brilliant book about his own life entitled ‘From a Mountain in Tibet’).
I have written before about my ‘vision’ of Diana’s death whilst I was studying at Samye Ling. I ‘saw’ the incident several days before it happened and described it to the abbot. His answer: “we trust in the dharma”. I understand the Royal Family also trust in the dharma – not an easy word to interpret but essentially that everything plays out in accordance with the cosmic law (of karma). On a simpler level ‘what will be will be’.

Ah, thank you. That is interesting about the House of Windsor and Samye Ling. Given the interest of Charles, Prince of Wales in religion and faith, and Scotland itself, that would make perfect sense. One of the issues of being part of a dynasty is complicated karma, isn’t it. Now being played out in an extreme way with the Duke of Sussex.
I just wanted to add that karma doesn’t only relate to the individual and/or the family but also to neighbourhoods, countries, continents, the world – hence a cosmic law of karma. For many non buddhists cosmic law relates to scientific law only but the terms karma and dharma relate to both minds and bodies, to the psychological as well as the physiological.
So where is God in all of this? We all have our own interpretations (in accordance with our own karma) but my view concurs with that of C.G.Jung who identified God (as the ground and source of our being) with the Buddhist dharmakaya (the essence of the universe, the unity of all things and beings, unmanifested and unborn). We are each a partial and limited manifestation of the whole cosmos but interconnected and interrelated at the deepest/widest/highest level. [NB In Christianity, the Absolute is personalised – thus the ‘will of God’ rather than the playing out or manifestation of Buddha essence.]
All this just to say that acceptance is at the heart of Christianity as well as Buddhism. In the garden of Gethsemane Jesus meditated on the way his life was manifesting. He knew what would happen next and was much afraid but came to an acceptance of it:
“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass me by. Nevertheless, let it be as You, not I, would have it.” ……………….. “If this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, Your will be done!”
