The Scorpio Birthday Horoscope 2021-2022

Happy Birthday Scorpio. What does the upcoming year have in store for you?

Scorpio, on your birthday in 2021, you begin to see the beginning of the end of a financial, business and/or charity cycle which has kept you stuck since it began on May 6th, 2020. That is a couple of months on from the date the WHO declared the pandemic. If you want to, you can check my original prediction about a virus here.

What you have been going through, Scorpio, is the rare 19-year cycle of the North Node and South Node, through the sectors of your chart which rule your income, savings, shares, house, apartment, non-profit organisation, valuables, company and so on. The cycle since May 6th, 2020, has been karmic in nature and so owes a great deal to what you did (or did not do) about 19 years before. So, the years 2002 and 2003.

As you read this, the cycle is fading fast. This is really important, because from January 19th, 2022, you will find that the world economy stays unpredictable, erratic and highly changeable – but your situation suddenly becomes a lot more flexible. You no longer go around in circles. And there will be a fast and furious period of compromise and deal making, with Ceres in Gemini from February 10th, 2022, until May 15th, 2022.

  1. Hi Jessica,

Thanks for the birthday horoscope! I am wondering about my Libra factors. I have had quite a volatile dating life (maybe Uranus affected that too) and just wondering how the next year will be like in that front.

    Thanks for any insights.

    1. A Sun Scorpio with Libra factors will have an unpredictable, highly changeable partnership (or chain of partnerships) until 2026, thanks to unusual transits. A volatile dating life since 2018 would be quite normal for this transit, but you can reshape the future so you are less disrupted by the cycle. This means trying to remove any hint at all of chains, entrapment, heavy commitment, loss of liberty, freedom, autonomy – with a lover. This may be about the other person or about you. Uranus in your solar Seventh really dislikes ‘until death do us part’ and ‘for richer for poorer, for better for worse’ as its nature is wildly experimental, constantly changeable, and above all – radically free and different. Lovers who can invite that will work. Lovers who take you the other way? Not so much. If you don’t want to get pregnant, though, watch your contraception from after Boxing Day 2021, throughout 2022. And if you do? A door opens. But just remember, there is no such thing as ‘stable, permanent, safe, secure’ when Uranus goes through your solar Seventh and opposes everything in your natal Eighth – until 2026.

  2. Hi Jessica!
I’m a Scorpio stellium with 5 placements in my 1st house. At the end of May 2020 I finally left a very toxic work situation, and I never regret it for a second, but my income situation has been…less than ideal ever since. I can’t wait for it to change, I have been working as a freelance ever since, but I work way more hours than what I get paid for. Also, I have a baby girl coming in January and I couldn’t be happier. Relationship-wise, 2018 and 2019 have had more down than ups, but again, I’m hoping for a better 2022-2023…so far it looks very promising!
Thank you very much for this horoscope! 🙂

    1. You are a Sun Scorpio but you must be using an old house system like Placidus, Koch or Equal House – not the Natural House System. I don’t see a stellium in your First House. It’s in your Eighth House of finance, actually (in Scorpio). This explains the freelance pay situation. You currently have transiting Uranus (sudden, unpredictable, unreliable, erratic trends) in Taurus, making a chain of oppositions to your Scorpio factors in the Eighth House of banks, rent, mortgages and the rest. This goes on until 2026 so you may want to create a lifestyle that can take the uncertainty, as every 28 days the Moon goes into Scorpio and into your Eighth House, triggering your chart and automatically opposing Uranus. So you need a zig-zag approach to a zig-zag life. You will be overjoyed with your baby girl who arrives with both Jupiter and Neptune in your solar Fifth House, and in your natal chart, they trine your Scorpio stellium. I dare say there will be partners, family members, godparents or in-laws who come good for the little girl, financially.

  3. Hello Jessica,

Thank you for the birthday horoscope and for all the posts and unique writings. I wrote to you a few months back regarding the separation with my ex husband (he is a Gemini) due to conflicts about house, apartment. There is a possibility for reconciliation with him? In the article is mentioned that in February-May 2022 there is a need to figure out how control is shared, or not shared, and how it should be shared with a former partner? Or at least to have the opportunity to improve my partnerships/relationships of all kinds in general? Thank you very much.

    1. Thank you. You are a Scorpio and your ex-husband is a Gemini. You want to know if you’ll get back together or stay apart. Let’s start with both your solar charts. The big timing for him, with you, is January 19th 2022 when at last he is free of karmic circuits and stuck, repetitive situations with you. This is because the South Node in Sagittarius in his Seventh House of marriage and divorce, is gone. In your chart, the same pattern hits your Eighth House of joint finances – in your solar Scorpio horoscope, the North Node in Gemini has gone. So from that point forward you are both a lot more free to say and do things which mean progress. What you have both been stuck with so far is repetition, because you had to change on the inside; nothing ever changed on the outside. It is quite true that the last thing you ever expect to happen with your ex-husband, will be the first thing that happens by 2026. But this does not necessarily mean you get back together. He may turn out to be a panda in a human costume (I’m joking). Most of all, celebrate the start of flow again, from January 19th. No more stuck loops.

  4. Great article Jess. Finally liberation from being stuck financially!!! Its been like walking in a thick mud bog. But from Sep 29th – soemthing changed, with a sudden new house purchase and a sea change, life seems to have taken the hand break off. Also seem to be letting go of old worl patterns – trying hard to step away and becoem a silient partner in my business and return to full time study to be a Councellor – so ties in to 2026 you mention above. Turned 50 yesterday….ive always had a feeling siunce my 30’s that life kicks off when i turn 50 on my terms. Heres to a great year and hopefully supportive stars 🙂

    1. Thank you. Yes, using both your Scorpio solar chart and natal chart, you have major Second House (personal finances) and Eighth House (shared finances) movement. Also Fourth House (property) of course. On 29th September Saturn in your solar real estate sector turned back to 6 Aquarius while the Quarter Moon moved to 6 Cancer in your natal real estate sector. The Sun moved to 6 Libra. You have a couple of 6 degree factors in your natal chart, so watch that degree. It works for you.

  5. Hi Jessica, thanks for the wonderful post. I’ve been doing well financially in the markets (crypto and normal) although I’m wary of your note about Jan 2022 – and am looking forward to the potential weight loss 🙂 however the area the seems to be stuck seems not be my own situation rather my partner’s dealing with her siblings (and related inheritance issues) – relations that have broken down to the point of receiving abuse. Are the deals mentioned likely reaching an agreement / compromise and some sort of peace with her relations (I’m assuming this would show in my chart also?).

    1. You have a Sun Cancer partner who has sibling/inheritance issues and you’re hoping there’s a peace treaty. Naturally this also affects your own bank balance, which is classically Scorpio territory. Your partner will be shown a solution in November, December. Either two answers, separately, or a two-step process of problem-solving. It’s very far from easy or perfect but it’s solid and she should take it. It will help her get through 2022, which is a stretch. Whatever seems like a way out, over the next couple of months, really is. She may want to use the Tarot on this website for validation. It would help you with the house or apartment as this is the main story in your own chart.

  6. Hello Jessica,

I’ve been following your horoscope predictions for quite some time now, and especially during these times they almost feel like an anchoring point.
I notice you mention a lot the year 2026, and in regards to Scorpios, it seems like this is the expiration date for their (karmic?) duet/duel with someone (or is this happening now, at the end of Nov. 2021, or a bit later, in 2023?).
I am sorry if I may be totally missing something on your site about this particular date(s), but could you please tell me what is it about 2026 that makes it feel almost like some sort of grand finale (the duet/duel breaks up and everyone goes on their separate way, perhaps?)?

    1. Thank you. I am glad astrology is an anchor. What I am talking about is Uranus in Taurus until 2026. Uranus in Taurus is in Scorpio’s Seventh House of marriage, common-law marriage, separation and divorce. Uranus is a symbol of upheaval, independence, liberation and freedom. Uranus usually operates with shocks, so the changes can be sudden and unexpected, like lightning. They also relieve tension and a new beginning is made – repeatedly. Scorpios can be in one long marriage until 2026 and find it constantly alters shape, without warning. Scorpios can also date a succession of men (say) who create wildly erratic chemistry and may come and go. There are a few variations on the theme. Divorce is common if the marriage has become stifling. Uranus is about the release and relief that comes after a long period of entrapment or emotional/sexual/financial ‘imprisonment’ and that’s why so many Scorpio people or their spouses part company on this cycle. What works best on Uranus in Taurus until 2026 is a flexible, adaptable partnership. A duet where both are happy to give and ask for a huge amount of space.

  7. Hi Jessica. Very informative birthday horoscope. I think it can help me plan ahead and be more strategic in the new year.
I notice the coming lunar eclipse will be my solar return. Is that has some specific meaning of it? Means the coming year will be like an eclipse? Intense? Or big transformation ahead? Can you tell me more details about the coming year based on my solar return chart? Thanks a lot.

    1. Thank you. Eclipses are really of the moment. What is said or done, on an eclipse, or within days of it, puts us on a path for many years into the future and it is usually a blind alley. Lady Diana Spencer married Charles, Prince of Wales between two eclipses. Camilla Parker-Bowles was in the congregation for the wedding and nobody saw her, except Charles and Diana, and we were none the wiser. That eclipse had repercussions for years. So, as a rule of thumb, try not to set off on a new path or make up your mind about anything, within a day either side of an eclipse and especially on the day itself. That’s all you have to do. We see eclipses when the nodes are in the same sign (Taurus-Scorpio being the next node and eclipse cycle) and Scorpio is about sex, death and money. So don’t make your will on that eclipse, for example, or sign up for a married couples’ mortgage. You get the picture. You can use the Tarot to tell you the ‘what’ of the eclipse and what to avoid. Pamela Colman Smith often illustrated eclipses in her cards and they are all here on the website to use for you.
