Success is a white-hot matter with Mars and Pluto both in Aquarius. Do ask people who are sensible, intelligent and objective for their take. Just because you’re all fired up about your status or success in February, March – doesn’t mean you have to do anything – or even take yourself seriously. As always with Mars, consider the angle without the heat. Is it a smart move? Be careful what you say, record and write. Your energy is part of a big ripple effect.

Foreigners and foreign countries are triggers for this overheated Mars cycle. Particular online groups can reverberate around the entire web, and you know it! The usual Mars rules apply to yourself, and to other people, now: watch what unfolds and manage it properly, especially as things can become lost in translation in the Ninth House. Just like the film.

June 21 - July 22
Now is a good time to promise yourself you will stop more often than you start up. You can see how an overheated financial or property matter could create long term issues, right? The brilliant (Leo) Mambo artist Dog Trumpet musician Reg Mombassa once produced a painting with the legend CAST NOT THE FIRST STONE written on it – that’s excellent advice now. If you cast the first stone now, you could be sending ripples out until January 2025.

Bushfires begin with a single match and can end up destroying thousands of hectares. Apply this to your partner or the person against you. With Mars at the start of a ridiculously long transit in Aquarius it all depends on how you typically process Mars energy. Some people just get awfully twitchy and keen. Others bang tables. Mars is action. He was the Roman god of war. He’s pretty basic. The red planet is the colour of fire brigades and yet also the STOP button. When in doubt, stop.

August 23 - September 22
Virgo, with Mars in your zone of work, housework, unpaid work and study – if you react without thinking to other people’s stone-casting (you could be launching yourself into a phase of Mars that you just don’t need. You’ll get a lot done, very quickly, but try to avoid the heat. Mars is here with Pluto, so the transit has unusual impact. When in doubt slow down, cool down or bow out for a bit.

Ceres the great compromise queen is now in Capricorn, in your Fourth House of property, family, the household, your hometown, your homeland, apartment, house or temporary residence. Some ideas or plans involving family or flatmates are positively wise now. They’re smart ways of dealing with issues, or brilliant pushes for a better deal – with, for or through the others – even if it takes all year.

October 23 - November 21
Work, unpaid work or academia? Sometimes it’s different faces, spaces and places but the song remains the same. It really is the karma from 18-19 years ago, all over again. You won’t know until you analyse backwards, or they do. Breathe more deeply. Ask dispassionate outsiders. (People who listen to history audiobooks and read long, thoughtful, non-fiction books are usually good for these required flashbacks). The thing is, the Node goes onwards, and onwards, through 19-year cycles.

November 22 - December 21
Forget this ridiculous traffic plan – they knew more at Stonehenge than politicians have done for centuries, even. They probably knew about the node cycle with friends and groups, now affecting you so much – at Durrington Walls, where they just found the largest prehistoric structure ever found in Britain, a circle where Neolithic people could record their cosmological belief. There is more to this than just social media. Go back 18-19 years for clues.

Capricorn
December 22 - January 19
Well, your clan or space is now affected by the karma going back in 19-year loops at the moment, with your home, family and so on. You may also be looking at renovation, home repairs, decoration and possibly a permanent new home now, but again with a nod to the past. Whatever the priority is, you, or someone around you, has just seen the past in full rewind. And it’s either full of amazing flashbacks, or dotted with mysterious puzzles to solve, taking you back.

January 20 - February 18
Plan bigger and better events for May, June 2024 and keep going. Today is prep time. Good things are out there with the younger generation that you create, or influence. The world of children, teenagers, young adults, parenthood-potential sex and youth-angled projects will turn up the volume from May – and longer, as Jupiter does intend on spending a long time in the Fifth House of your chart.

February 19 - March 20
Right now, you’ll be stretched on every level by an issue directly connected to your image. You’ll find it hard to be any kind of expert about what you’re feeling, because you’re now in an all-tests zone. Given that this is a long cycle, it’s really nothing you have seen before. Seek an expert. That helps with Saturn. Find the right voice or book, or website. Find a technique (mental or physical) that will ground you, stabilise you, centre you and make you feel that the situation is less vulnerable (or you are).
