Anxiety Cured With Dr. Claire Weekes

I have had so many readers who have found their anxiety cured by the Dr. Claire Weekes method that it’s something I recommend straight away, if you have heart palpitations, panic attacks or just general worry that makes you feel tight and tense, or short on breath. Best of all you can try her work at no cost.

Free Samples to Hear and Audiobook Downloads

There are free samples to listen to and free full downloads (with a 30-day trial) on Audible. Hope and Help For Your Nerves and Freedom From Nervous Suffering are both available on Audible. Who was Dr. Weekes and why was she so special? A good story about her can be found here.

Everybody’s Been Helped by Dr. Weekes
The Sydney Morning Herald – “People as diverse as 1960s housewives, the daughter of Richard Nixon’s drug czar, a British television producer, the late poet Les Murray, the singer Clare Bowditch, the famous US environmental activist Erin Brockovich, even prisoners have benefited from her work. The eminent anxiety specialist David Barlow, professor emeritus of psychology and psychiatry at Boston University, confirms she “created a treatment protocol to the unending benefit of tens of millions of patients over the years”.

Dr. Claire Weekes wrote 5 books over the course of her lifetime all of which are available at your favourite online bookstore or, likely, in your local library. Read the testimonials on Amazon to see how successful her books are at curing anxiety.

Depression and Someone to Talk To

If you are stuck with depression, need help now and are feeling blue (or worse) please call or email the Samaritans. I have had a fair bit of experience with this organisation over the years and they are trusted, tried and tested. In Britain, Charles, Prince of Wales is their patron.

It’s not religious, despite the name. The writer Monica Dickens was one of their earliest and most famous supporters – for the very good reason that the Samaritans work. Sometimes you just need to put the kettle on, make yourself a cup of tea, take a deep breath and pick up the telephone. Or send an email. I have friends who are Samaritans volunteers and they come from very impressive careers. They have trained with the organisation over many months and do this from the heart. Do call. They are waiting.

Befrienders Worldwide

The Samaritans are part of Befrienders Worldwide and you can find your country listed here, if you are looking for a phone number to call. It’s free and covers 32 countries with 349 emotional support centres around the world. They offer SMS messaging, face-to-face support, internet chat and more – depending on your location. You can visit pages in your language. Go here now.

The Samaritans and You

The Samaritans offer anonymous, confidential telephone support from people trained in helping those of us with depression or suicidal feelings. The Samaritans have an excellent YouTube channel which explains what they do and offers good, useful self-help clips if you are having a difficult time.

British Samaritans

You can email [email protected] or in Britain call 116 123. They have videos on controlled breathing and muscle relaxation which can help on YouTube and coping with change. They also have videos explaining what it’s like to call them. They are @samaritans on Twitter and the website is Samaritans.org where you can write them a letter, use the app or call from Skype.

Australian Samaritans

The website is here if you need them. The telephone number is 135 247. They also have a good support contacts page with different numbers to ring here across Australia. An astrology chart is a fantastic resource, but sometimes you do need a friendly ear to listen, some practical advice and – the voice of experience.

This is the place to find Samaritans in the US and the number for you in New York is 212 673 3000.

New Zealand Samaritans

And  in New Zealand, their number is 0800 72 66 66.

The Black Dog Institute

This excellent website for everyone dealing with ‘the black dog’ of depression, worldwide – who needs facts and support is here

Beyond Blue

Beyond Blue is an equally useful website, no matter where in the world you are and what kind of depression you have. It has shared forums and discussions if you need them, and fact sheets.

Please remember, astrology and Tarot are here to help. And they do. But sometimes you need more, and you might need it now.

  1. Hello again Jessica, I posted an earlier comment to this, including a thank you for these wonderful resources which I really hope benefit so many others out there too.
I did want to ask a question. Do I really need to get rid of ‘dead wood’ to escape this mental pit? (Emotionally abusive partner 21/11/63) Do you ever see the money coming through to enable me to leave and stand on my own two feet? Thank you

    1. Thank you. So, starting with your solar chart, you are a Sun Taurus going through the South Node in Sagittarius in your Eighth House of sex, death and money. This is karmic in nature and will repeat themes and stories (where you owe, or are owed) from the last time this happened: 2001-2003 and further back, 1983-1984. You cannot get out of the karma early but it ends on January 19th 2022, when the South Node leaves Sagittarius for another two decades or so. Your Sun Scorpio partner has exactly the same cycle, in reverse. So for both of you, you pay your karmic dues to each other, the universe or other people – on January 19th 2022. This is also the end of the money question for you. The nodes are in Gemini/Sagittarius so in your Second House of personal income, debt, the house, apartment – and your Eighth House of sex, death and money. There are no more major transits in those signs after January 19th 2022. It’s the same with him – financially at any rate. You will know one way or another if you have the money you say you need to leave him, by that date. Your Tarot reading for yourself can tell you if you get it (second confirmation or validation) or if you are going to cut your losses, or find a third solution. In your natal chart, we look to Scorpio and your Eighth House for third opinions. You have Ops at 20 Scorpio trine Mars at 20 Pisces. I am sure you know from your flipbooks on this website, Ops was the long-suffering wife of Saturn. Every time she gave birth to a baby, he ate it, because he was paranoid about being overthrown by the children. Eventually she fooled him into swallowing a rock instead. The baby, Jupiter, ran away and when he returned as an adult god, he banished his father forever – and Saturn became a teacher of agriculture, not a baby-eating monster. Ops is associated with wisdom, cleverness, problem-solving and optimism. She was found when Margaret Thatcher became PM. So you have what it takes to overcome an emotionally abusive partner. You’d be looking for transits to 20 degrees for timing and sure enough, you have them in January 2022. So that’s the month. Neptune at 20 Pisces is in conjunction with your Mars at 20 Pisces, trine your Ops at 20 Scorpio in your house of sex, death and money. Have you seen a lawyer about the signed agreements you both made? Scorpio is all about ‘until death do us part’ and ‘in sickness and in health’ and ‘for better for worse, for richer for poorer.’ Of course if you never married you have a common-law marriage and a lawyer can advise you on that. The following years, 2022 and 2023, see the nodes move into Taurus and Scorpio, so in both your solar Seventh Houses of separation, divorce, marriage and common-law marriage. You will either fix it or split in those two years, which are the last for some time, of any importance, in relation to the duet and duel sector of your chart. If you are living with depression it would not be surprising, but your chart shows nothing in Virgo whatsoever or the Sixth House, and you don’t have transits there, so depression would appear to be a function of the bad relationship – not something within you. This suggests that when you leave, so does the low mood problem. In the meantime, yes, call or write to the Samaritans. If you do not have a friend or relative supporting you through this, you will need other kinds of help.

  2. Dear Jessica, thank you for your latest blog highlighting the plight of so many of us who suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and for recommending how to get help.
I have been suffering from these things on and off for a long time, and they started up again at the beginning of this year when my sister stopped talking to me for a while. I have recently been diagnosed with heart disease and I worry that the anxiety and panic attacks have caused it and that they will make my heart condition worse.
I know you have pointed out that these things don’t last for ever but can you tell me when my anxiety and panic attacks will disappear – even if only for a while? I don’t even know what I am anxious or panicking about.
I am a Premium member so you will have access to my birth chart.
    Many thanks for your help.

    1. I am so sorry about the heart disease diagnosis, and your panic attacks. Please do try the audiobooks and/or books of Dr. Claire Weekes. As you will see from her work, there is no connection between the heart palpitations and heart health. The true culprit is your parasympathetic nervous system, which is setting off a ‘fight or flight’ response the whole time. The solution is to follow her simple method and also to reassure yourself with her information – the facts. Try to set aside the heart disease, the difficult sister, as things you can solve separately. (You can). The main issue should be your own peace of mind and wellness, in terms of anxiety, and you need to sort that out by itself. Once you have done that, the other concerns will seem so much easier for you. You can start now. Do try Dr. Weekes.

  3. Hello Jessica
Thank you very much for your detailed reply. I’m hanging by a thread only for the sake of my kids. Yet when my youngest said ‘daddy’s mean and has anger issues’, I don’t know what to do. There is much to think about, thank you.

  4. Buenas tardes;
Thank you for all these resources that you put at our disposal, they are really valuable.
I have had anxiety for a while and I think it is depression, I really don’t like my job and I need a change to feel better in my life. I need help I have a lot of material burden since only I pay for almost everything in my house and I only depend on myself . I need to change jobs I am looking for an exit doing a course and looking for job offers. Will my life change at some point?
    Thanks.
    Raquel Rivas

    1. Raquel, you sound burdened by work and also by paying for everything. You haven’t logged in so I can’t see your chart unfortunately. Rather than add to your burdens with that news, can I suggest you try The Tarot on this website? It’s free. Once you have tuned into the present, ask for a solution with your work, from now to 1st November 2022. Then ask for a card regarding a solution with money.

  5. A heartfelt thank you Jessica. I’ve certainly had my ups and downs with anxiety and depression. Your keen eye and generous spirit in the comments, have certainly eased the burden.

    Wishing you well.

    Regards,

    Patrick

    1. Thank you Raquel, yes, you are a Sun Scorpio with a strong Scorpio-Taurus signature in your chart, so you have come along to ask questions at the right time. You will have 2-3 decisions to make about the money, the house or apartment, starting very quickly this week, then with more to come by the middle of December. This also pulls in the family, perhaps or sexual partners from the past, present or potential future. This is the intensely personal side of financial matters and at some point you will have to put a price on particular relationships, or add up the cost or value of particular people. This is a practical thing to do, as you are also setting up 2022, 2023 in November and even though it feels as if everything is ‘of the moment’ and must be signed off quickly in December, you may want to take your time, as the sums you do now will have a long, long impact in 2022, 2023.

  6. Ok I understand thank you very much but there is nothing about whether I will be able to change jobs? or does my economy improve?

    1. If you want to change jobs then your best work change cycle in 12 years begins on Wednesday 11th May 2022 and you have until Friday 28th October to snap up an opportunity which allows you to have more, do more and find greater fulfilment.

  7. Thank you, Jessica, for these helpful resources. If you could look at my chart and give me some insight, I would be very appreciative since I am just beginning my journey on better understanding astrology. Take good care!!!!

    1. You are a Sun Taurus but I am unclear if you have anxiety and/or depression, or just want to understand your astrology chart. You have a large Taurus stellium in the Second House of values, valuables, business, charity, property and ownership. That is quite extreme, so it never rains but it pours for you, with any transits in Taurus always resulting in big wins on the board, or tremendous adjustment. Now that Uranus is in Taurus until 2026 it’s like having a strange tenant in your house. Someone who comes with tremendous wiring issues – every time he touches a light switch something zaps you. Uranus feels like an electrical storm in a jar and you have no doubt been hit by the cost of the pandemic since 2020 and are looking at ongoing challenges and changes. This strikes at the heart of who and what you value most so by 2026 you may have found yourself turning from capitalist to socialist, or communist to environmentalist. Lots of ‘ists’ there with Taurus.Having Uranus in the Second House by transit makes it necessary to stay flexible, open, adaptive and ready to change at a moment’s notice, partly because of the trickle-down effect of cryptocurrency, blockchain and the end of money laundering which is coming. So, about another 5 years.

  8. Hi Jessica
I lost my mum recently 3 months ago. Still feels v raw. Trying to pull myself back up. Catching up with life work and everything. Don’t particularly feel supported. Life is too busy to even grieve. Also I joined a networking group (Aquarius wise) but can’t seem to commit. May be it is not the right group for me right now? Any steer in the right direction or enlightenment that there is good purpose and reason for everything would be welcome. I don’t want to be cynical or angry. Thank you and best wishes.

    1. I am so sorry you have lost your mum. It has only been three months since she passed to spirit, so you are quite naturally feeling raw. You are a Sun Aquarius who is experiencing Uranus in Taurus in the Fourth House of family. This is not just about losing your mother, it is also about the change within the family circle that takes place when one member of the circle, has gone. So there is a huge amount to process. Uranus in astrology is a symbol of radical change, revolution, freedom and independence. For all that this has been the world turning upside-down for you, which Uranus also describes, it is also a time of liberation. It takes great insight to see that and it can also take time to understand. In your natal chart, the family is described by the zodiac sign Cancer which rules your Fourth House of relatives. You have Diana at 23 Cancer and the South Node at 16 Cancer. It will not surprise you to know that a cycle not possible in over 240 years came to visit your chart in 2020, 2021 as Pluto moved near 23 Capricorn, opposite Diana. The nodes also moved to 16 Gemini and 16 Sagittarius, so your natal chart had transits at the same time as your solar chart. You will turn to religion, self-help, spirituality, therapy, meditation, spiritual healing or similar. It will be solitary, perhaps with just one other person – but most of the work will be done alone. It will transform you and begin in December 2021 but be part of your life in 2022 and for part of 2023. This again shows in both your charts, the solar and natal. I know you are too busy to grieve but that will change. You are going to change on the inside, either because of your God, your inner work on your own psychology, or some other soul-shift. Something that will help you immediately that is free to try: dreams (with Jane Teresa Anderson online), hypnosis (Paul McKenna, free on YouTube), meditation (find your favourite practitioner, also free on YouTube) and – it may just be that your mum and/or your spirit guides will send you the right helping hand, which is none of these. I’m not totally sure about a group for you. I am very sure about inner work done alone. It’s coming and you will be empowered by it.

  9. Thanks Jessica – I hope that won’t be precipitated by more bad news as one often turns to self help when in crisis! I’ll try one of the suggestions

    1. Thank you. Astrology doesn’t really do bad news – unless it’s about politics or the big global picture – when the currents of time are so powerful that sometimes it can be hard to stop something/someone. On a personal level, you have challenges and learning experiences. They can be made easier by using astrology, in my experience, and also the Tarot. At Christmas we are also launching The Garden Oracle, which I hope you can add to your toolkit. I really love it.

  10. Thank you so much for this Jessica, sometimes just having someone acknowledge that you have anxiety helps. Pointing out these tools will help many of us. I have had anxiety all of my life, I do work to help myself with my anxiety. I am going read the books you have suggested by Dr. Claire Weekes, I feel they may give me some more tools. I try to start each day looking toward the positives that are here and are coming. Is there anything in my chart that you could tell me about that would give me some insight.
    Thanks
    N

    1. Ah, thank you N. The work of Dr. Claire Weekes has saved lives (people say “She saved my life” in reviews of her books) and I have known people to recover from anxiety syndrome, just by using one of her books – no medication. I really hope you can get results from her audiobooks or paperbacks; she had a few hardbacks out too. Your mind/body connection is described by Virgo and the Sixth House in your chart. You have Mercury at 25 Virgo, Mars at 20 Virgo, Pluto at 27 Virgo, Descendant at 19 Virgo, Minerva at 16 Virgo and the South Node at 2 Virgo. That is a big stellium in the Sixth House of mental and physical health, which also rules work, daily routine, lifestyle and housework. Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the planet of the mind, speech and writing. You have a very complicated relationship with work, unpaid work or study which needs some time to sort out. It really comes down to – how you work, why you work, when you work – and your ideas about service and duty. Serving others, and doing your duty. To find Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, actually in that sign suggests you live in your head. You may need to get out of your head on a daily basis, by focussing on meditation or hypnosis, to get some balance – or a physical pursuit where you don’t think, ruminate or do head miles, analyse or ‘work’ matters mentally. This is often why people play quite strenuous sport. You may also find the common Virgo stellium issue at play here: if your subconscious mind does not want to do housework and work, then your body may intervene with an ailment or condition that makes time out, or time off, unavoidable. Thus, you get out of it. In general, people with a lot of Virgo factors in the Sixth House need to find a way to escape – as much as they need to figure out a good relationship with their job, or their course, and certainly housework or daily chores. I know it’s really challenging in the Twenties when we are living with this pandemic and all that it brings, but having said that, you are also in a terrific position to find answers, in 2022 and 2023, as the nodes transit Taurus and Scorpio, and Uranus continues to transit Taurus, while transiting Pluto goes through Capricorn – that supports your chart really well with so many trines and sextiles everywhere. It’s almost as if you are ready to make a couple of years of huge changes.
