1. Dear Jessica, my sun is in Taurus (18 degrees), my Jupiter is in Scorpio (3 degrees), and I have a stellium in Libra (Mars, Saturn, Pluto, IC and others). What would be the general patterns I’d observe when Jupiter moves in Libra in September 2016 and into Scorpio in 2017? I got confused with trying to understand implications of the House in my chart where Jupiter is located, versus all these other factors that Jupiter can affect. Thanks so much!

   1. We’ll start with Jupiter’s transit of Libra as this is what you experience first, and you’ll feel it as early as the New Moon in Libra which accompanies it, as October 2016 gets underway. Jupiter will make a conjunction to your Libra stellium. In plain English this means that you function best in partnerships, duets or double-acts, no matter if they are personal (romantic, sexual) or professional (work, academia, unpaid work). Your identity and your life mission is tied to being one half of a pair of scales. Libra rules the scales so if you imagine yourself on one end, and a particular man (or woman) on the other, that’s who you are. Jupiter’s role in astrology is to expand and improve. So, any issues you have with a former, current or potential partner when he comes along in September will be magnified, yet fixed. If things are basically good, they will get better. And if you just want a partner, there will be a genuine opportunity – the first of many, if you are into serial dating rather than monogamy. It has always seemed strange to me that no matter how up or down things have been in other sectors of my life, the one thing I seemed to care about most was finding (and staying with) the right partner, or meeting people who could be partners. The Libra stellium makes sense then! I hope it does work out the way you say it might. Everything else is on the upswing, and my work is coinciding with moving to a place I love, so perhaps I’ll meet more like minded people and “The one”. Thank you!

         1. The trick is the two-way street with someone who is different yet equal. Those old, sexist ideas from the 20th century about men needing to be taller/better paid/more successful will disappear when Jupiter goes into Libra, as will the notion that women have to be shorter/less successful. I am sure you can think of more examples. We’re going to see a ton of love matches across salary, age, class, religion, nationality and the rest and that’s going to create dates, where there were no dates before!

Hi Jessica, must be Jupiter’s effect? as lately i have been thinking about bringing to market handcrafted coffee products so right from the farm and all the way to the final product only hands are used in all the processing of the coffee, and also only by women and people with disabilities wherever possible. I think people want to connect more on a deeper emotional level to whatever they are consuming. Fingers crossed i get to start this venture in august..

   1. You are in synch with the times and should pursue that with the buzzwords ‘fair’ and ‘equal’ and ‘equality’ in mind. You are quite right about the shift that is coming. You only have to look at the Democrats’ conference in America to see how the biggest consumer market on earth is thinking! Don’t start in August – make it a dress rehearsal or first attempt as Mercury is Retrograde, then through September and you will hit delays and changes. Treat this as prep time and then look at October onwards. The key to your success will be the like-minded people who are drawn to your idea.

   1. You have a stellium in late Libra so it will be 2017 before you see the resolutions, opportunities, life enhancements and gains which come through or for your partner. If not your current partner, then certainly your former or potential partner. Use your journal next year to plot and plan.
