1. Dear Jessica,
   I am new to the site&membership and really hooked on your take on astrology which is quite original and your blog having the most compelling reads!

   I am a Sagittarius (Sun-Asc- Mercury) with a very crowded Capricorn area (Bacchus- Aesculapia – Jupiter – Juno – Salacia -Saturn -Venus) and a very troublesome Mars in Cancer exactly opposite Saturn.

   I was wondering if you could advise me what am I to expect ahead: I have had so many challenging, stressful, overwhelming difficulties and events mainly of the “Saturn kind” since 2002/03 which have taken/are taking their toll and visibly have worn me out inside! And by the look of it no end in sight or light at the end of this tunnel! on top of it, my usual jollity and optimism have gone awol the last couple of years… I wish them back so much!

   My main areas of concern/importance: my work and health, financial stability ( I have read your blog about Uranus in Taurus : )… still I cannot help wishing), my residence settled status (being one of the 3millions EU persons, in the UK for the past 35 yrs); my Son’s health and wellbeing (22 August 1989 07:41am Winchester UK).    1. Thank you very much. Actually, what you have been going through is Pluto in Capricorn, a very slow-moving transit, which has conjuncted everything in your ambitious Capricorn stellium in the Tenth House of mission and position. Pluto transforms whatever it touches and the pass over Saturn in Capricorn is rather like having one of the Egyptian pyramids under reconstruction. The pyramid is a symbol for the classic Capricorn ‘mountain’ in your life and it may be corporate structure; a hierarchical class system; a business with one CEO and thousands of people down the bottom. The trick with Pluto is to understand that you have to learn new techniques and methods, and to accept that they will involve tremendous willpower and self-control on your part. This is the gift of empowerment you receive if you do the work. If you deny what is going on, or avoid it, or just refuse to do what Pluto is (strongly) hinting you do…then this transit can be very difficult to put up with. As you will soon have Saturn, then Jupiter and Ceres also in your Tenth House following in Pluto’s path, this is really a life reshape. You mention that you are an EU resident so I would expect that Brexit is part of this. Obviously the 16/17 degree spot is pretty sensitive and Pluto has a habit of hovering at 17 degrees, which he is doing at the moment. I am sure you know Cancer rules home, heritage, history, culture and (literally) your apartment or house. So this is all part of the story and as Pluto tends to be rather sweeping, arriving as an event or trend, this is no doubt your Brexit experience. As I say, the trick is to push back and own your life. To make drastic changes if necessary to hold the reins over your own self and own existence and do it your way – in time, it will work – and the gift of empowerment will be there for the rest of your life. You have a Sagittarius signature and Jupiter will cross that from the end of next year, into 2019, when you will find benefits from travel, foreign places and people, study or retraining. In fact it will be irresistible. More immediately, Jupiter is crossing your Neptune at 10 Scorpio in the Eighth House of finance, business and property.    I have kids my own, he has kids from his previous relationship. We are maddy in love – although it’s a distance relationship 😉 .    1. Cor, that’s quite a game plan. It is also happening on the internet and not in the real world. You don’t know enough about him, basically. There is a whole lot of paperwork behind him that you need to know about. I also think you need to concentrate on one of your children, to the exclusion of everything else. Even wild romance. Go to the child who needs the most time, research, thought and care. Please find out more about this person before you commit. Can he come to you? Can you possibly go to him? And don’t overlook the other male in the picture who is solid, dependable, on the sidelines and very much there for you, despite the bad attitude! He’s an anchor.    Your explaination about Chiron in Pisces on the family front sets right with me. The last some years have seen some bad relations in the family that don’t seem to mend howsoever.
   If I could please request you to explain me more on this- Uranus moving out and Chiron coming in. It doesn’t sound nice at all to me. The Uranus transit has been tough in itself. Wouldn’t Chiron add more to it or would there be settlement coming soon now?

   1. Thank you. You have Fourth House (family) transits in both the chart I use for you, as you have seen. So publicly and privately your ‘kith and kin’ as the Scots call it, is your priority. You were born with Chiron at 4 Cancer opposite Saturn at 4 Capricorn. Chiron is your need to test the boundaries and see what you can get away with. Cancer is your family. Saturn is hard karma – the difficult real world with all its lessons. Capricorn is career, success, unpaid work, ambition, social position. I am sure you can see these two are opposite each other. When you have your Saturn Return and he passed back to 4 Capricorn you will have to make a choice. Please do look at the word ‘success’ and see what it actually means to you.    1. Thank you. I am sorry there is a waiting list, but I just checked and have a round 4,450 questions today! The most important thing I can pass on is that you are strongly Capricorn. Extremely ambitious to do better, have more and go further in life. That is a good thing as you can sustain the structures of society which matter so much. I was recently at Dover Castle and one has to admire the army, navy and air force in the last war, along with the monarchy. The castle itself is the product of a feudal society. All those solid ‘rocks’ in our world come from people like you, who respect them and spend a great deal of time and energy ‘working’ them. What you are about to experience from Christmas 2017 through 2020 will transform all that.    Many thanks for writing the Sag birthday horoscope, I was looking forward to it. I’m in a long-term relationship but we have no children and we are happy like this. Also, I have no real contact with the younger generation. I was wondering how I should interpret the horsocope ? Thanks in advance.

   1. You have Saturn, Fortuna and Apollo in Leo too, in the Fifth House of children and younger people – in your personal birth chart. So in your public chart (Sagittarius) and private chart (birth details) you have a ton of arrows pointing to those who inherit the influence of your personality and carry on your guidance, leadership or mentorship. This is entirely possible without being a parent, of course, but I am puzzled that you are living a life where you’re not mindful of the way the next generation leans on your example. Saturn can be rather hard to take, so sometimes we ‘forget’ or block out those younger faces. It may be on your partner’s side.

7. Hi Jessica! Thank you for such a wonderful article. I have a huge stellium in Sag and tend to always have major tipping points and realizations through Sag people or Sag kind of activities. They say that Jupiter in Scorpio is a deep, thinking year for a Sag and after that when Jupiter goes into Sag – that’s when they experience benefit. I seem to be in a cycle where I am starting to get good benefits of Jupiter in Scorp but also experience the contemplative behind-the-scenes energy on behalf of my Sag stellium. How can I use this to my advantage? What does this actually mean for me? I may have already asked you about what role Jupiter in Sag will play for my Sag stellium.    1. Sanam, Jupiter in Sagittarius from the final quarter of 2018 into 2019 will give you the opportunity to either travel more ambitiously, or emigrate. Part of the journey will involve learning or teaching. You will benefit enormously and feel as if you have become what you were always meant to be, because you are so strongly Sagittarian. Your philosophy, religion or other belief system (like astrology) will also come alive. It does not come from nowhere, though. Jupiter does not arrive with a shock, like Uranus. He comes along, to help you cultivate what is already there. So, even though this a frustrating time in your life, from the second half of January onwards plant some seeds. You were born to travel, teach and study (simultaneously, perhaps quite informally) and use the worldwide web to your total advantage. All of this has been impossible or frustrating for two years, yet start pursuing your goals next year – 2019 makes it all so easy.

However, when it comes to my Sag stellium – I seem to have the highest degree pull at Uranus which is at 24 degrees in Sag. The rest of my Sag stellium planets are at lower degrees than that. The lowest degrees are Apollo at 4 degrees Sag. Do I need to take this into consideration. Since Sag is such an important part of me and my chart I want to use each detail to the fullest. Your Ninth House ruled by Sagittarius is full all the way, so basically the opportunities begin November-December 2018 and do not stop – in fact, you could still be exploiting the options to travel (or travel in the mind) as late as Christmas 2019. Jupiter conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius in the Ninth House is a fortunate choice only possible in 12 years to break free from old patterns and systems which keep you and other people stuck, specifically around the worldwide web, foreign people and places, education or publishing. Independence Day is coming.

8. Happy Thanksgiving!
   My concerns are around my kids. My daughter (07/18/2001) is going thru severe depression. Her depression got so severe to a point that she hurts herself. I got doctors and therapist involved. Her school grades and peers and most importantly her dad (08/15/1961) have a lot do with her depression. Her boyfriend is very good to her. I am extremely supportive of her. However I feel I am going in circles with her. She is going to snap and I am very concerned about it. She maybe going to a university outside our state. My son (08/13/1986) got married 2 yrs ago to a lady who is older than him by 10 yrs. she is very nice. He wants kids badly. My relationship got worse than it was before since he married his wife. No apparent reasons just like that. No matter what I do or how good I am for him and his wife. I work in finance and the organization I work for got sold and the trade will start in April 2018. My job is secure and recognized however there are uncertainties. I am also student finishing MBA. I struggle with my finances. I am single and have no life and work very hard. My kids are priority one for me. Sure all will work out as I always make sure it will. But I don’t know where I am going with my life anymore. I appreciate your advice and comments. Warm regards.

   1. The poor child. My first thought is to put her first. I realise your son is also a concern for you, and you (yourself) also have issues with money and being single. Yet – for now – your daughter must be number one. There may be periods when you wonder if it’s worth it, but hang in there. She needs to know that you will be a strong, reliable, constant source of support even when she is not giving you anything. Do not worry about the money, the home or the possessions. You will save or gain through whatever means, now through the final quarter of 2018. Jupiter in Scorpio in your Eighth House will see to that. I have seen people be asked to ‘mind’ an entire house full of furniture, white goods and state-of-the art equipment on that cycle. I have also seen people be thrown outrageous favours by wealthy people, or be offered amazing ways to generate income. Enough about the cash flow, though. Bottom line is your entire career is reshaped, Christmas 2017 through Christmas 2020. New you, new life, new professional direction, new mentor/guide – the lot. Knowledge is involved – the world of academia, books, education, the worldwide web. 9. Dear Jessica,
   A fascinating article. I relate so strongly to what you are writing about Uranus transiting the 5th house. This is the period of time when I had my two children (6 and 4 now) and one miscarriage. Enjoyable experience but also super hard work. Especially so when taking into account a “difficult, cold, unaffectionate” marriage with an Aris sun stellium/ Virgo stellium man. We would have parted ways if we didn’t have the kids despite the “love” we felt for each other. Might sound odd, but stayed together so that kids could have a “family”. Personally, I have always thought that I am prepared to deprive myself of another romantic chance in life (i.e. not allowing a new person entering my life) for the sake of not confusing the children and complicate their life.

   I have now relocated with the kids in another country (the other side of Europe from the UK) and husband commutes between the two countries (stays with us for a third of the month). This arrangement seems to have taken some of the pressure (of living on daily basis together) off, while giving the kids the safety of mum & dad “being together”. All I am wondering is whether Uranus moving out of Aries will have an impact on this arrangement, our life, kids, husband-wife relationship in general.

   1. Thank you. The thing to take away from this pretty painful experience with the cold man, is that you were given the gift of freedom. Uranus transits are often shocking, frequently very hard to take, but ultimately liberating. It can take months or years to understand that if you had stayed with this man (for example) you would have been utterly trapped. As with all Sun Sagittarius people you have had Uranus going through your Fifth House of pregnancy, parenthood, miscarriage, termination, adoption and fostering since 2011. In your personal chart (your birth chart) we also find Mars in the Fifth House in Leo. So, the picture could be filled out here, by saying that you have been thrown the gift of true liberation, independence and freedom but also the chance to discover how well you can fight. Mars is a symbol of conflict, courage, resistance, and the rest. Mars also attacks, it has to be said. I am sure you could write a book about being born with Mars in Leo! Anyway – as you have correctly assumed, Uranus moving out of Aries will end the arrangement you have with the children’s father. You have done really well to instinctively use the Uranus cycle to keep the situation fluid, lively, fresh, unpredictable and the rest. From May 2018 something will happen to stop the up/down zig-zag nature of that arrangement. From 2019 it’s gone forever. You will most certainly have another relationship, or relationships (plural) if you wish. That is a very, very long-term prediction. One of the children will do extremely well in sport and the natural sense of competition will transfer to a future career. Be proud.

10. Oh my, Jessica, this resonates so strongly with me. Single mum of two beautiful boys, aged 10 and 8. Working FT just getting by and after a few meltdowns recently of feeling overwhelmed I came to the conclusion something had to give. I have given all to them (and glad I did) but have lost myself. Five years on, I am now emerging and after reading your blog, see clearly that I need to find myself and allow the boys independence and to branch out from just me, me, me. They will gain and I will too. Would love any insights you may have. Thanks as always.

    1. It’s really hard to raise two human beings, so congratulations. For children we always look to Leo and sure enough you have Hygiea, the South Node and the Ascendant there. Leo rules the Fifth House of ‘heirs and spares’ and ‘queen to a younger court’ so your two boys are not unlike Harry and William. For a time, Diana, Princess of Wales was a single parent too. (She also had a big Leo chart signature). I have to tell you this is karma. The South Node is karma anyway and it’s in your Fifth, so the boys have known you before, and vice versa. We also have the transiting North Node going through Leo so 2017, 2018 is a double whammy. This two-year period is about collecting past-life rewards and also paying past-life debts. Once you are into 2019 it’s way behind you, actually, and you can focus on other things. I am not sure if the group of lively minds and hearts is around you yet, or if it is yet to be, but you will feed off this community of people and they will feed off you. Please stay the course.     You are incredibly accurate as usual. It is just amazing to realise that so many of us have gone through this awful period united in our different scenarios with similar themes.

    Much of what you have written about here and in other Sagittarian horoscopes relates to Leo and the children or lack of children in people’s lives. Would it be possible to give some general advice to those of us without Leo in our charts and how that affects us?

    1. Thank you Patricia. If you don’t have Leo or Fifth House elements at all (and you don’t) the message is, children don’t define you. You can have sons, daughters or no offspring at all, but either way it doesn’t really say who you are – and it’s not really why you are here. As a Sagittarian you are slowly coming out of the cycle which will permanently alter the way you relate to the next generation, or perhaps the one before that. This generation born in the Eighties or Nineties, will come to have its own special relationship with you over the next few years, as even when Uranus leaves your Fifth House, in the sign of Aries, Neptune will eventually move in.

    1. You’ll be fine long term with dating options so please don’t worry too much about it now. I am sorry a foreigner has claimed on your car insurance and his bicycle, and also that it would cost you so much money – that does sound like a classic Sagittarius/Ninth House transit. This is also happening to thousands of other people caught up in the same cycle so you need to not only talk to a lawyer, you also need to hit the forums online as it is not just you. Your horoscope suggests that you will be so thrilled with the ‘wheels’ you have in your life from late 2018 you will realise that you have just been given a karmic payback. You’ll be travelling or commuting in style, from that point through 2019. Fate has a funny way of working out. For the moment, though, see what other people are doing in your situation as you need more than one opinion.

13. Hi Jessica, I am an Aries and Am constantly confused by the “behind the scenes” “under the surface” stuff you have previously talked about. I feel like I Have missed the boat on meeting “The One” as I was constantly being treated badly by a group of people associated with someone who I thought was right for me and I lost all my confidence, becoming paralysed with fear. I feel like their treatment of me was based on his attitude toward me, and want to move on from it but feel trapped in a repeating cycle. how do I get out of it? What do I need to change? I have tried my location, my job even my gym but cannot see a way out to reach my future.

    1. You are an Aries having Neptune in Pisces transit her Twelfth House, which rules confidential matters, classified information, uncredited or unacknowledged roles behind the scenes and also – the unconscious mind. This cycle has been there for many years and occasionally it lands like a wave, which has been happening lately. Sometimes things are so genuinely deeply buried that they only surface later on; blocked memories is a good example.        1. Dear Jessica, Thank you for your message, it gives me hope and I feel you are right. The cycle that occurred in 2011/2012 seems to be repeating, and as you have said it is not as bad as last time. I fractured my ankle then, and have done so again. I changed my job location twice in a year, and this too has reoccurred. The events that are occurring, It has all been very familiar, a strange pattern is emerging and yes, I trust you are correct in saying it is about healing, that I blocked by avoiding the issues and carrying on regardless. There was an enemy at that time and I felt powerless to fight back, I feel like this time they have no power over me and I hope that means resolution is in sight.

          1. Good! Sometimes you have to get real about people who have a history of working against you, or take an unhealthy interest in you. Giving particular people the flick can be an excellent idea. I am glad you flicked.

14. Hi Jessica, first a thank you for all the information you give. I’ve spend hours reading, still, I’m a bit overwhelmed/confused.     1. He has past life karma with you, which ends in 2018 when the circle closes. You knew each other before and the issue was a pregnancy or child. 16. Hi Jessica

    I’m not sure how this relates to my situation and would love to read your thoughts. I am hoping to move to Bath in the next year or so and maybe start some courses (perhaps writing/kiln glass/naturopathy/reiki) – the time seems right to focus on myself and my own interests and development after many years looking after my 2 children and putting their needs first (which I was happy to do). My children are now students at uni and I am so happy that they have blossomed into (relatively!) independent and capable adults, despite their difficult journeys to that point (due in part to health reasons and dyslexia). My husband is hoping to have more free time to explore with me and take up new interests and travel a bit more.

    I have somehow lost myself along the way and feel the need to break out and start having more fun and be stimulated by new places, things and people, but would be mortified if one of my children felt repressed or confined and that I had contributed to that happening. That would stop me in my tracks.

    Is this a concern for me and is there a way to balance parenthood and pursuing my own path or do I need to refocus on my children as they need more healing?

The situation with children is karmic in 2018 as the transiting North Node – which is always about past life debts and credits – goes through Leo and your Fifth House of sons and daughters. You will work it out with them, and from 2019 onwards will have completely balanced the situation as the karma will have gone full circle. We often find that the people we give birth to, are those we have had many lifetimes with and at a certain point you will all feel free to move on. You are in a fantastic position to study, and could do so at any time, but you would find everything blossoms magnificently from November 2018 into 2019 as Jupiter (growth) goes into your Ninth House of education. In fact 2019 would probably involve travel/learning together so you may well be exploring other parts of the UK or abroad.

    I’m new, and just working everything out. My daughter is Sag with Leo Asc and I am Leo with Sag Asc. Her birthday is this week, and this year has been good to her in her work and personal life.
    This month things seem to have come to a head for us all, in different ways. A family matter for she and my husband to clear up in the coming weeks, and house issues that mean we are being prompted to consider moving – and soon.
    From what I’ve been reading, the house and family (legacy/family tree) ties in somehow. Where to move is an issue, because we must consider work and education (travel distance) and when is especially important. No problems with paperwork, communication, shady operators etc… I’m holding off doing much and researching first.
    Are you able to offer more clarity on this situation please?

If you can do anything any time you may want to wait until Mercury sorts himself out, from the third week of January when everyone is back at work and everyone is across their new career situation, because once Saturn changes signs on December 21st, millions of us will be adapting and adjusting, and that will have an impact on the property market. I know you probably want to roll your sleeves up and start the move, but if you can hold off, by all the laws of astrology it’s going to be a lot easier. You will know where you stand and where other people stand, and where the market stands, once Mercury has retraced his steps across 13-29 Sagittarius and that only happens near January 10th, so call it the third week of the new year. Sagittarius rules emigration, foreigners, relocation and with Mercury (paperwork, plans) going back and forth in that sign, you can bet that we’re up for some chaos this Christmas and that has a domino effect on everything and everybody. Extreme weather too. I think it will be textbook, so just be gently aware…
