The Astrology of No Deal Brexit

Will Britain opt for a No Deal Brexit even after a "No" to "No Deal" by the Queen? May-June 2019 is a revolution. Here is why April 18th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th are the dates to watch for the Shock New Brexit Deal.

The Astrology of No Deal Brexit

Is No Deal in the future? Is No Deal even just around the corner, in May 2019? I am writing this on March 31st, 2019, and after a classic Mercury Retrograde period of chaos for Prime Minister Theresa May, the chance has increased.

I’m updating the story on April 8th. Her Majesty the Queen has given Royal Assent to a big ‘No’ to ‘No Deal.’ That’s very interesting, though, because the astrology is clearly saying – shocks are in store.

Shock New Deal Brexit for April 2019

In fact, we’re in for ‘Shock New Deal Brexit’ near April 18th and 21st. The world will turn upside-down. We have not seen transits like this since the 1930’s and 1940s.

As I have received hundreds of questions and comments about Brexit since it was first predicted on this website, the time has come to dive into the horoscopes one more time.

Using asteroid astrology (modern astrology) we can narrow down specific dates. So forget April 8th.

Wild Cards and Lightning Bolts

What we’re watching here is: April 18th through 26th. You might call it Nine Days That Will Shake the World! What history and astrology tell us about these kinds of transits, is that events move like wildfire. There is typically tremendous relief, release and excitement for some. Exhilaration and the thrill of the unknown. For more conservative and traditional people and organisations, events can be genuinely shocking.  This is not Keep Calm and Carry On. This is Keep Moving Or Else!

The Sun at 0, 1, 2 Taurus – Spotlight on the European Union’s Divorce Bill and the Pound April 21st, 22nd, 23rd 2019
Uranus at 0, 1, 2 Taurus – Rebellion, revolution and independence from the Euro Economy. Until May 1st.
Mercury at 0, 1, 2 Aries – Battle stations. April 18th, 19th.
Venus at 0, 1, 2 Aries – Duels. April 21st, 22nd, 23rd
Mercury and Proserpina at 2 Aries – The negotiator in the middle – arbitration. April 19th.
Uranus and Hygiea at 2 Taurus. Brexit Divorce Bill shock and insurance for the future. April 22nd.
Uranus and the Sun at 2 Taurus. Global Financial Crisis 2. April 22nd.
Sun and Hygiea at 2 Taurus. Spotlight on economic insurance (global) but also personal insurance. April 23rd.
Uranus at 2 Taurus, Juno at 2 Cancer: The shock to the economy affects house and apartment prices. April 26th.

Watching Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Charles over Brexit

Something else you need to know: this is about the relationship between Her Majesty the Queen and Prince Charles. Keep asking questions. Their personal birth charts are also triggered in this ‘Shock New Deal Brexit’ as I’m calling it, based on the astrological key words. That is what the patterns swirling around a number of horoscopes suggest. It’s Independence Day Two.

What about an early election? How about Labour, the Tories and other parties and individuals forming a National Government?  It happened last time we saw astrological cycles like this in 1935-1937. In a crisis – which back then was the abdication.

Will this be a Jeremy Corbyn-Theresa May led government? No. By all the laws of astrology, what happens in politics near April 18th and 21st is a rebellion, a revolution, and the birth of a new government. We can also expect a new, new, new Brexit.

How Astrology Predicts Politics

Astrology has a good track record, when it comes to predicting the politics in situations like Brexit. You have to hold your nerve if you are a professional astrologer! Remember when everybody in Britain assumed Remain would win the Brexit vote? Remember when the opinion polls said ‘definitely’ Remain – and everyone from celebrities to the Prime Minister, David Cameron, was telling the country to stay in the European Union? Well, that.

Uranus brings total, jaws-on-the-floor shock. Whatever you think you know on April 8th-9th, you will no longer recognise around April 18th and following.

There are a number of different ‘birth charts’ or horoscopes for Great Britain. Back on 22nd February 2016, they all said the same thing. Brexit – and you read that here.

This is the result as recorded by the BBC on its website.  The United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union by 51.9% compared to 48.1% of people who voted to remain. As some of you have pointed out on this website, there was no question about a deal. No question about Soft Brexit or Hard Brexit. Just Leave or Remain! The majority, famously, voted to leave.

How Astrology Predicted Brexit on 5th July 2015

Astrology can work a year in advance, if it has to. Even before David Cameron had set a date with fate, the horoscopes for the nation (which range from 55 B.C. to 1801) said the same thing. This is what you read here on 5th July 2015.

“ENGLAND LEAVES THE EUROPEAN UNION, SCOTLAND LEAVES ENGLAND”

Uranus also dominates the charts for England and Scotland. England will eventually leave the European Union.  Scotland will ultimately leave England. Europe is breaking apart and this is the start.

The Most Important Horoscope of all – British Democracy!

When you work as a professional full-time astrologer you find yourself surrounded by piles of books on history as well as horoscopes. The most important one of all was under a pile of notes which I did not discover until March 29th – the day Britain was supposed to leave the European Union.

This astrology chart below is set for 2nd July 1928 when at last women got the full vote in the United Kingdom. I have called the chart NO DEAL to see if it will come to pass. Let’s take a closer look. Why? Because, more and more, this is looking like a constitutional crisis for Great Britain and the astrological charts look like explosive. Thus – a Shock New Brexit Deal.

Whatever Happened to Women’s Right to Vote?

According to the way the astrology looks now – it does not matter if you voted Leave or Remain. It does not even matter if you stayed in bed on referendum day and did not vote at all.

The only thing that matters with this horoscope is every adult’s right to vote. Especially every adult woman’s right to vote. That is what the Suffragettes fought so hard for. What is really peculiar is the fact that the next big ‘Vote’ moment happened at the end of the 1960s when women as young as eighteen qualified to have a say – and both horoscopes line up.

The Sun newspaper called Brexit “the biggest vote for any cause in the history of British democracy.”

The author Lionel Shriver said, “Imagine the uproar if Remain had won but MP’s then made Britain leave.”

One of the striking features of 2018-2019 has been the refusal of some women to respect the vote of other female voters. That really triggers the old 1920’s ‘equal vote’ horoscope, and the 1960’s chart too.

Throughout the long and difficult years – 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 – since ‘Leave’ won but nothing has happened, The Daily Telegraph has run a series of photographs like this (below) which feature women prominently.

That’s interesting, because the horoscopes say, if you want to understand 2019 – you need to back to the 1920’s – when a Suffragette campaign to get all women the vote, alongside men, finally triumphed – and then onto the 1960’s.

In astrology we track horoscopes like this, but also astrological charts for the Conservatives and Labour, the state of the Euro and so on – to see what is going on. Expect the totally unexpected with Brexit near April 18th and 21st, 2019.

We are going to see a rebellion both within politics and in the country itself. The word on everybody’s lips then will be ‘NO.’

A Perfect Storm in May, June 2019

A perfect storm in astrology is a lot of patterns gathering at once. In May and June 2019 we find Uranus, the planet of shock, revolution, rebellion, radical change and breaks with the past – passing over 2, 3, 4 and 5 degrees of Taurus.

Taurus rules deals. Theresa May has been told to embrace No Deal following repeated failures of every Brexit solution she has presented. If you have Taurus factors or Scorpio factors (both rule money) in your chart at 2, 3, 4, 5 then 2019 is a huge year of changes for you, even if you live as far away as Los Angeles or Auckland – and it will be the ripple effect of a Shock New Deal.

I’m sure you saw the campaign for the film Suffragette, starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep. It is strange but true, that the astrological timing of that movement (‘Before women had a voice, they had to fight for their freedom’) has come around again in the year 2019. This is about more than stay/go. It is actually about the U.K. as a democracy.

Suffragette - The Astrology of No Deal Brexit

How the Referendum Date Horoscope Repeats in January 2020

Uranus (the revolution) has been in Taurus (money) long enough to see a sliding pound against the American dollar (on 29th March 2019). This is just the start of a seven-year cycle of massive change for currencies around the world.

I’ve been writing about this for a long time now, as you may have Scorpio or Taurus factors in your personal birth chart and need to know. Astrology is about being prepared. About realising that the uncertainty of the 1930s may well be coming back. This is particularly true in April and May 2019, and you’ll know that having factors at the early degrees of Taurus and/or Scorpio (so 0, 1, 2 of the sign) means a huge period of adjustment.

It may be business, work, food in the supermarkets (or food shortages). It may be new trade deals which affect the pound/dollar/euro exchange rate – which affects your holiday. It may be your pension/superannuation/national insurance. I am sure you can see how chain reactions across the top of politics and power, create a spark in your own life.

It’s the same for people in your world with Taurus and/or Scorpio factors across 0, 1, 2, degrees. They will be affected.

Time’s Up For the Elite – Pluto, Saturn, South Node, Mercury, Ceres in Capricorn.

Capricorn rules the elite. It rules the mountain goat. The people who have climbed to the top – of politics, celebrity or money. The original Brexit vote horoscope with all its patterns at 23 degrees,  repeats in January 2020 when Pluto – the planet of total transformation – moves to 23 Capricorn. Ceres is at 23 Capricorn. Saturn is at 23 Capricorn. Mercury is at 23 Capricorn.

This is a really clear astrology statement – time is up for the elite in January 2020 – if they tried to take over/take on democracy. These horoscopes do not forgive or forget and there will be a downfall. A demotion, disappearance or departure. And it will happen to more than one organisation or person, right across the board.

It’s those democracy horoscopes, you see. They’re powerful things. And you don’t mess with them.

The Astrology Charts for Britain from 55 B.C. to the Sixties

The British Isles has a lot of birth charts. She was born in 55 B.C. under Roman invasion and reborn later in 1801 when the United Kingdom was formed. What we might call ‘Brexit Britain’ has a chart too. And it’s going to be well and truly triggered.

Watch Monday 13th to Thursday 16th January 2020 and those mountain goats at the top – that mountain will fall for them.

If you have Capricorn factors in the Tenth House of your chart (career) at 22 and 23 degrees, what happens at the top, will have a ripple effect on your own job. You can expect reshuffles in the House of Commons, the House of Lords, in the White House and so on – that throw big stones – and you get the splashback!

Out of such situations, depending on your personal birth chart, can come promotions or new appointments.

New Britain, New Brexit – on January 13th to 16th 2020

According to all the laws of astrology, that chart means the final outcome of democratic Brexit will take place and make history between Monday 13th and Thursday 16th January 2020. It’s all a really long way from that original prediction on this website, which you can see again below, but those patterns are exact.

You’d have to say it follows an April 2019 Shock New Deal Brexit, which then leads to a ‘good to go/good for all’outcome in September 2019, based on all the charts. It happens in stages, but it’s going to happen with one lightning strike after another. I have mentioned Italy before, but you need to keep tracking that country’s relationship with the E.U. and with the U.K.

What Happens in January 2020?

There is a ‘law of Pluto’ if you like, in astrology, which has been with us since 1930 when the planet was first found and named. Any person or organisation which acts like a dictator meets a downfall. And this goes beyond politics. It goes right to the heart of huge questions about who/what denies democracy in Britain.

Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab (Conservative) and Labour politician Kate Hoey have both been on the same side, in terms of their objections to the sideswipe of democracy. So it’s not about the parties. It’s about a principle which goes beyond politics.

This is about modern, democratic Britain, for the people – by the people – and you can’t mess with those astrological rebirth charts from the 1920’s and 1960’s. You interfere with a majority vote at your peril in 2019-2020!

The Representation of the People Act of 1928

The chart for the day that women, in particular, won a sixty-year fight for their democratic right to an equal vote shows a horoscope which is set to explode in 2019. There is no ‘orderly Brexit’ about this. It looks wild, unpredictable, electrifying, unique, unusual and – liberating.

Yes, liberating. Uranus transits always set everybody and everything free. History and astrology tell us, these cycles have a job to do, and they do them. No matter which way you voted in 2016, or even if you never voted at all!

Millicent Fawcett was the face of that original 20th century campaign to win votes for women (she was later made a Dame) and it is ironic that her statue stares out across Westminster at the distant offices of both Mayor Sadiq Khan – who commissioned the statue but has objected to the national Leave vote – and Prime Minister Theresa May, who has delayed Leave, but helped to launch the tribute. That old horoscope is going to spin like a firework in the second half of April 2019. Perhaps it is partly because Dame Fawcett must also be turning in her grave.

This is Britain’s Karma

This is Britain’s karma.  The astrology tells us what goes around, always comes around.

This photograph (below) from The Church Times is typical of the coverage being given to Brexit between 2016-2019 – again, showing women at the very front of protests. There’s a reason for that. History and astrology show us. The past is on the line and it wants to get a message through…

Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin gave a speech in London to thousands of women who were celebrating their precious vote, back in 1928. “The whole nation”, he said, “men and women alike, will express themselves effectively in the ballot box.”

Well they did, in 2016 – and these are the numbers.

What Happens When 72.2% of the Population Vote – and the Vote is Discounted?

The astrology in 2019 asks a really powerful question. What happens when 72.2% of all people turn out to vote, and more than half of them vote Leave – and then nothing happens except debate? When democracy is not actually delivered? Are we going to see Anarchy in the U.K. to quote The Sex Pistols? Or will it be, God Save the Queen?

These are the BBC-reported figures for the 2016 Brexit Referendum

Remain: 16,141,241 (48.1%)

Leave: 17,410,742 (51.9%)

Total Electorate: 46,500,001

Turnout: 72.2%

Rejected Ballots: 25,359

The 2019 Progress Report on World Immigration, Trade, Tourism

In astrology, we read the cycles together, to see what history is telling us. For all that the Brexit situation has been stuck since 2016, we now have a useful Jupiter and Ceres in Sagittarius cycle which can only happen once in 12 years. That’s good news!

You probably know that Sagittarius is the sign which rules immigration, international trade and tourism. Jupiter is a symbol of growth, solutions, breakthroughs and hope. Ceres is a symbol of compromise and agreement. In combination, it’s a great result. Again, it doesn’t matter if you stayed in bed on the 2016 Brexit referendum, voted Remain, voted Leave or are in the United States and on the other side of the world. This is a global 2019 wave of progress and growth affecting all of us.

As astrology works on a global-local level, if you have Sagittarius factors in your Ninth House (travel, holidays, vacation, emigration, export, import) then you can bet that the ‘great wave’ of a Great British Brexit in November 2019 will help you. That’s when we are seeing these cycles come into their own!

The cycles are as follows:
Jupiter and Ceres in Sagittarius – January 26th  to November 16th 2019.
The South Node in Sagittarius – May 6th 2020 to January 18th 2022

Google Tribute to Millicent Fawcett on her Birthday - The Astrology of No Deal Brexit
Google tribute to Millicent Fawcett

Home and Country, Property, Work and Family Trends With Brexit

Millicent Fawcett (above, pictured in a Google tribute to her and the Suffragettes) led women to a full and fair equal vote in 1928. So what have the women who voted Leave, ended up actually winning? They were in a majority. What’s in store now?

Some of the clues are there in the North Node in Cancer cycle, which we see every 19 years. I am sure you know Cancer rules house and flat prices, land value, residency and passports. This 2019-2020 cycle takes us all the way back in time to chart in British history and every property cycle too.

As this cycle is overlapping with Jupiter and Ceres in Sagittarius in 2019, it’s clear this is crunch time. It is all about the right to live and work in a particular country. Maybe Millennials will be able to get on the property ladder in London. Does that seem impossible? These cycles have delivered jaw-dropping real-estate trends before.

What happens if cheap labour goes away? These are questions worth asking when you consider how these Cancer and Sagittarius cycles are overlapping. Especially with Uranus (the revolution) in Taurus (finance) as well.

The End of Human Trafficking in Britain?

The last time we saw ‘perfect storm’ astrology cycles like this, the old slave trade ended. That is something that hardly comes up in discussion about Brexit but in astrological terms, it’s really important. (And in humanitarian terms too, of course).

It’s also hard to admit but true – human trafficking (slave labour) makes the wheels go round in some parts of the U.K. economy and notably, it’s thought, in London.

This will diminish or even finish, once Brexit comes to pass and borders return. And that fits the astrology. Jupiter in Sagittarius is about overdue improvements to foreign residency. It can only happen every 12 years. Uranus in Taurus is about freedom for wage-slaves (and even people who are trafficked and are not paid at all). That’s a big horoscope statement.

The biggest Sagittarius cycles in history saw the end of the slave trade and the humanitarian evil of the slave-driven tea, cotton and sugar world economy. Brexit is going to happen, with a Big Bold British Brexit Shock, in the second half of April 2019. One of the outcomes will be the end of human trafficking into the United Kingdom from Europe.

Uranus was discovered in 1781, the year a female slave named Elizabeth Freeman won a court case against her white master and changed history. History repeats in astrology. 2019 is the end of modern slavery as border control returns to the kingdom.

Happy Endings with Jupiter in Sagittarius

On 14th November 2018, astrology predicted, clearly, that – as you read – “Secretly – or publicly – Christmas Day 2019 will be the end deadline of the exit, with signatures on all sides due on, or near, Wednesday 25th September 2019.

Let’s see what fate brings us on 25th September 2019. And let’s see what we find out about those Christmas discussions!

Astrology is really good at predicting the Brexit weather, so perhaps it will do it again. For example – this was published here all the way back in November 2018:

Ignore Prime Minister Theresa May’s announcement of an ‘agreed text’ of a draft UK and EU agreement on November 14th 2018, as I write this. It’s been called at the wrong time…The United Kingdom is due to leave the E.U. on 29th March, 2019 at 11 p.m. U.K. time – which simply will not work – according to the chart. Mercury Retrograde muddles and mess dominate March and the chosen date falls right on Mercury Retroshadow. This is a chaotic month.

Nicky Morgan, Tom Watson, Fate and Fortune

The Conservative Party’s Nicky Morgan and Labour’s Tom Watson (pictured in an illustration from his Twitter feed and website) have both campaigned for a cross-party government. Corbyn and May are moving towards it as you read this on April 8th, but this is not it. By all the rules of astrology, it cannot be and will not be, the final ‘shared power’ leadership.

Why? Upsets in the second half of April 2019.

This idea of a cross-party government  is really about history and the horoscope patterns repeating, though. We have seen a National Government before in a time of crisis. In 1935-1937, it took place partly because of the Abdication when Buckingham Palace and the Crown had to deal with the shock of royal upheaval.

We have no confirmed birth times, dates and places at all for either Nicky Morgan or Tom Watson in our astrology files, so there is no point in looking at the role either might play. The same can be said for Prime Minister Theresa May herself and Jeremy Corbyn (no verified birth time). If there is to be a cross-party government we just don’t know who, or why – yet it seems likely, in 2019, no matter how stumbling the talks might be on April 8th!

Are we still looking at No Deal here? It’s been dismissed successfully after Yvette Cooper took a stand, but Uranus cycles are all about shock, rebellion and revolution. Saying ‘no’ to the ‘no’. Perhaps it’s more accurate to call the second half of April 2019 an Oh My God Deal.

The second half of April 2019 will see a British crisis sufficient to bring about a coalition of several parties, just as we saw in the Thirties, according to these horoscopes. Although we do not have a personal birth chart on public record for either politician, it is interesting that Nicky Morgan was born with the Sun in Libra. Like Baroness Thatcher and Prime Minister Theresa May.

Likely Dates for No Deal or Shock New Deal in 2019, 2020, 2021

No Deal or ‘Shock New Deal’ is either exciting, liberating and worth it or catastrophic, terrifying and the end of the world. It really depends on you and what you believe about the future. Astrology can be useful there…

The handy thing about astrology is that it can show us what happened last time, as the cycles of time repeat. Will there be a cross-party government if No Deal somehow still takes place, despite Royal Assent to the Yvette Cooper proposal? What about a D-Day Deal with all the turmoil people have been trying to avoid?

Who would lead it? Who would be in the cabinet? Libra Nicky Morgan? (Pictured below, on the cover of her book, Taught Not Caught). Might a new ‘Leave’ voting Tory P.M. lead a Labour-heavy cabinet? What about the minor parties and independents?

Nicky Morgan - The Astrology of No Deal Brexit
Nicky Morgan, Libra

The 1928 ‘democracy’ chart shows  that Britain was reborn – for the people – with this pattern: Mars 4 Taurus, Jupiter 5 Taurus, Chiron 9 Taurus. We see direct triggers on the dates below. There is more to this than just Brexit, though. This is about the United Kingdom constitution. It is about the whole structure of referendums and votes. And these patterns can only happen every 80 years. All change.

Early Election and Hung Parliament?

Another possibility for the nation is an early election and, likely, a hung parliament. Hung parliaments classically happen on Mercury Retrograde and the next one (from shadow to shadow) is Thursday 20th June until Thursday 15th August. In politics right around the world, we see everything from ‘hanging chads’ to deadlocks, to deadlocked politicians on this cycle. We have just seen what it can do, in February-April 2019.

Over to You – What Do You See in the Stars?

Over to you. Isn’t it ironic that Dame Millicent Fawcett stares out across London? That amazing old July 2nd 1928 ‘Women’s Vote’ horoscope is going to have the final say, you know. Of all the charts we have for the United Kingdom, it may be the most important one. I will leave you with one final comment on these horoscopes for Brexit…

P.S. An Old Prediction Coming Round Again – Switzerland and Britzerland

The Swiss model for life outside the European Union, which Boris Johnson (when he was still Mayor of London) suggested, was what he called ‘Britzerland.’ Keep watching that.

  1. Hi Jess,
interesting article – just a quickie , ‘What Happens When 72.2% of the Population Vote Leave – and the Vote is Discounted?’ the turnout was 72% not the percentage of those who wanted to leave

the difference between leavers/remainers was approximately 2% – 1,269501 votes according to the calculator. the point beig it wat a small majority that wanted to stay
    all best,

  2. Hi Jessica,

    Very interesting article.
I have a number of factors at 23 degrees.
I live in England but I am an European so it affects me personally in some ways.

I just wondering, can astrology reveal a suitable country to live based on personal birth chart?

    Justina

    1. Justina, your personal birth chart with factors at 23 degrees reveals how Brexit will have a direct impact on how you live and work. You are likely to find it all builds to new choices, as we see January 2020 come around and that rather intense ‘weather’ with Saturn and Pluto and Ceres all at 23 Capricorn together. Countries do have horoscopes, and The Book of World Horoscopes by Nicholas Campion has hundreds of them if you want to take a look.

  3. History. Astrology. Synchronicity. It’s really fascinating to watch…and to read – thank you for another fantastic article. 🙂

    1. Thank you. I think Dame Millicent Fawcett will have her day. And her way. You can’t stop that old ‘Vote’ democracy horoscope from 1928!

  4. Here in Yorkshire we are pushing for a federal system of government. It is interesting that you listed the twelve regions of the UK which, in my opinion, should form the basis of a federalised UK.

Do you have a view on this Jessica?

    1. Now, that is radical! Uranus in Taurus is revolutionary but I have not heard of this Yorkshire-based movement. I don’t have an astrological chart for Yorkshire, but it’s interesting that you mention it, because I had Yorkshire Pudding last night – at an Australian restaurant. Conversation revolved around it for ten minutes. I think what you say is important, because of the rather strange synchronicity, so I will try to find a chart. I can see how individual, independent parts of the United Kingdom would want to break away from London/Westminster rules on this Uranus in Taurus transit. Amazing.

      1. Thank you Jessica.

I analysed the Electoral Commission results you published – but in accordance with the EU double majority voting system. This requires any decision to be passed by at least 55% of the member states with at least 65% of the EU population resident in those member states.

Only three regions voted to Remain in the EU – London, Scotland and Northern Ireland – so the first criteria is satisfied. The nine regions voting to Leave had an electorate of approx 75% of the UK total electorate so the second criteria is also satisfied. In other words, if the UK was federalised, the decision would be overwhelmingly for Brexit.

PS. My region is actually now called Yorkshire and Humber. Historically it was split into three Ridings but these were abolished in 1974 when country boundaries were redrawn – much to the chagrin of the inhabitants.

  5. Hi Jessica

Is the May / June 2019 perfect storm a general election, change in Conservative party leader, or is it a no deal crash out until agreements are signed?

I’m a Brexiter but totally understand why people want to stay. I’m more concerned now with the elements that are using Brexit as an excuse to peddle their far right racism, Tommy Robinson making a speech, by the Cenotaph, makes me feel sick.

I’m 2nd generation immigrant but love England, and in my bones I feel English. I often joke in my previous lives I must have been English!

I can’t bear how divided the country is, and the anger that might find relief in dangerous elements.

Will we get past this and be united again, even if Scotland does go its own way.

    Thanks xx

    1. The 2019 ‘Perfect Storm’ of Uranus in Taurus (the revolution in the economy), plus North Node in Cancer (housing prices) and Jupiter in Sagittarius (residency and passports) is certainly intense. We tend to find that Uranus brings the last thing people expected to see. It can often bring a complete turnaround, actually, so I would say there is every chance the Prime Minister will stay on as leader, but publicly switch position and form a cross-party cabinet. That would fit the pattern of Uranus, the planet of the unpredictable and the unusual! Astrology suggests, it does not dictate the future, so the other options are also very likely – the ‘shock’ of No Deal (even though many have been expecting it) – or the upheaval of an early General Election. The situation is hard to call as none of the politicians involved have provided, confirmed, birth data. The most likely outcome is a combined government of individuals and parties and actually, that might sustain beyond December 2020 – so we would be reminded of the 1930s all over again when Conservatives, Labour and others steered Britain through the upheaval of the Abdication. Fascism also dominated the mid-1930s and Oswald Mosley and his British Union of Fascists rose at that time (and were pushed back). That is why, in a way, a combined government of people from all walks of political life would work rather better. The question is, who becomes Prime Minister of that? Or stays on as Prime Minister of that? And who makes up cabinet? The democracy issue must be sorted out, because the 1928 ‘vote’ horoscope is under explosive pressure in 2019 and it’s just around the corner – May and June. If the Leave vote is not respected and carried out, we are looking at a revolution. Uranus rules that.

  6. Jessica, how will the Brexit results from Friday, 3/29 impact the stock market and the overall economy? Do you see a financial crisis or stock market crash coming soon? If so, when? Thank you.

    1. Look up ‘Uranus in Taurus’ on Search as I’ve posted a number of stories on Global Financial Crisis 2 over the last couple of years. Thank you.

  7. Hello Jessica, Thank you for this comprehensive review that provides much food for thought re Brexit astro-wise.
I have a simple question. Seeing that Queen Elizabeth is a Taurus, how do you think Uranus will treat her and could this possibly tie into another cliff hanger re: UK as a monarchy ? Best wishes, Kristine

    1. The astrology of the 1930’s is repeating in quite an uncanny way and I have to say, the word ‘abdication’ comes to mind – we have just seen a major shift in the Japanese monarchy. I know this has been rumoured for many years. Another key point is that as soon as Uranus entered Taurus, Her Majesty the Queen signed the Magnitsky Amendment to the Money Laundering Act and Prince Charles’ charity was immediately caught up in a money laundromat scandal. Kristine, we always say ‘expect the last thing anybody expected’ when Uranus changes signs like this. That’s all I can say, really. The rest is up to fate. We have also had a chain of eclipses in Leo, the sign ruling the monarchy and also the heirs to the throne. Eclipses are always cover-ups and blind spots. Keep watching the astrology.

  8. Hi, regarding the Yorkshire campaign for a devolution of powers to be more localized, I remember your comments ont Henry ViII’s departure from the Catholic Church parallels Brexit and embedded in the psyche/horoscope of the UK’s story. Drawing on that – the Catholic monasteries in the Yorkshire region were very powerful in Henry VIII’s time and there was relatively more wealth per person in the region and the monasteries did perform some social welfare duties. The smash and grab precipitated an uprising called the Pilgrimage of Grace – October 1536. I feel the people in Yorkshire are feeling this pull of history because the parallel is that London / EU are draining resources which could be better managed locally they would not want to see another scenario like Henry VIII squandering all of that wealth.

    1. We were talking about Yorkshire again last night – Uranus (independence) in Taurus (currency – is with us for the next seven years. I am beginning to wonder if we are not going to see ‘the local pound’ come into effect for different areas of the United Kingdom. In Lewes, Sussex it has of course been around for years – and in Brixton, London. Uranus has a way of bringing about the last thing we ever expected to see and perhaps you are right and Yorkshire is feeling the pull of history and its astrology. Uranus also rules the word ‘No’ and it would appear that No Deal is coming closer as the Capricorn John Bercow has just said ‘No’ to quite a few choices! I’m interested in the parallels with Henry VIII and will take a look, thank you.

  9. Hi Jessica,
A lot to think about as usual. When you mentioned Switzerland at the end there, it reminded me of a thought that’s been in my head for the last few weeks about the Irish backstop issue. Why do the politicians make it out to be such a huge problem when it’s easily solved? There are already soft borders between EU and non-EU states like Switzerland and Norway, so why can’t they just draw up a similar agreement between Northern Ireland and Ireland to take effect from whenever the final leave date happens to be? What do you think of this?

Also this is only slightly related, but the EU passed the controversial Article 13 last week, which sounds like it was written by people who have no idea how the internet works. It was during the retrograde though so I don’t think it will stick, but what about the bigger picture? These are certainly history making times we are living in.

    1. You’re right across the astrology and also the news headlines. Yes, the E.U. passed their new ruling on the internet on Mercury Retrograde so it will not stick in its original form and may be scrapped altogether. Another reason it may come to nothing is of course the powerful influence of the United Kingdom on the Worldwide Web and the fact that is is heading for the door marked Exit! Switzerland keeps suggesting itself because of the line-up with the astrological charts – and it is an interesting case because its relationship with the European Union keeps changing – it is free and flexible – and that does suit the horoscope ‘weather’ for the British Isles over the next few years. She is looking for a lot of space and room to move.

  10. Being in Australia I’ve been a little complacent about the Brexit deal, thinking it will all work out and be fine. However the more I understand the more I worry. Especially for all of Ireland, it was heart wrenching watching the violence and death throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s. I don’t understand their grudges but hope they can reach peace through this process and not more war. If you are still in Australia, Dateline on SBS had a very good story tonight – which sent me straight to your blog looking for a mention of Ireland.
Do you see any peaceful outcomes for Ireland and the UK?

    1. Ireland is complicated because she has so many different horoscopes, including the key chart for the Act of Union on 1st January 1801. The greater concern for Ireland is her economy and I wrote a feature a long time ago about Global Financial Crisis II and how it would affect that beautiful part of the world. Over the next seven years Uranus (the revolution) in Taurus (currency and trade) will have a direct impact and the nation will not remain the same – but there is no reason why any hint of the Troubles should return. That all took place during the long, long cycles of the slow-moving outer planets Uranus and Pluto in Libra, the sign we associate with war and peace. They will not return to that sign in our lifetime.

  11. Hi Jessica,

I have Psyche at 4 Taurus and Venus at 9. I’m looking to buy a house atm. It’s not going smoothly but I’m trying to be optimistic. After reading your article I’m wondering if I ought to hang fire in case prices drop. Also wondering how Uranus passing over these two points might affect me!

    Love your articles.

    Thank You.

    1. Uranus is a symbol of revolt, radical change, rebellion and ‘the world turning upside-down’ and it is very new in Taurus, proceeding towards 4 degrees in 2019, where it will conjunct your Psyche, which describes what lasts forever – what lives beyond you. This is very likely to be a house or apartment which you renovate. (Carl Jung had a chart rather like this and his property Bollingen is a testament to his life and work today). You then wait for Uranus to go to 9 to conjunct your Venus, which is about the relationship you have with a former, current or potential partner – or family member – connected to the sale or purchase of the house. I am not sure how long you want to remain in a new home or how committed you are to making or saving money by darting around on a property ladder – but those are the astrological facts. A lot depends on *where* you want to live as over time we are going to see a complete split between various parts of the European Union, and very firmly, the United Kingdom. That will affect prices.

  12. hi Jessica,

as hongkongese (former UK colonies till 1997) , a lot of us wishes Brexit would lead to UK reunification. heavy storm out of the blue as lord Patten & family departs and the official handover on july1st, 1997, midnight. one of the saddest days in history. as you mentioned the north node is in cancer, would that be a positive influence of us separate from China?

  13. Dear Jessica,
Do you think the bitterness and racism the brexit issue has stirred up will and any time soon. IT is interesting that you think any denial of the vote will lead to revolution but so far it is the remainders who have gathered big numbers on the streets. 1 million in March and 6 million signing a petition to revoke article 50. No similar numbers have appeared for brexiteers
What does the astrology say about the misuse of democracy in the original campaign with the untruths told. Also EU citizens in the UK were not allowed to vote but were in the Scottish referendum. Uk citizens in the rest of Europe could not vote either
Two groups directly affected were excluded from the democratic process ! Their lives are being torn apart. Does the astrology reflect this gerrymandering?

    1. The astrology is really about democracy. There are many, many different ‘birth’ charts for the United Kingdom as we know her today, starting right back from the Roman invasion of 55 B.C. and going across to the 1960s when finally everyone aged 18 and over could have a stake in power. I am sure you can see how racism would have been an issue even back in 55 B.C. (in fact, especially then) as the Italians took over and the Britons pushed back! One thing astrology does is show us that everything has happened before, one way or another. The big, big lesson to take away from this sorry situation since 2016 with pain on both sides, is that democracy is precious. It is sacred in fact and it is at the heart of what the country is. If there is something wrong with democracy as a system in Britain it has to be fixed. That may mean constitutional change (in fact the charts say, it will) later on – particularly once we get past the actual Brexit. I think we’re going to see all kinds of laws introduced which mean the nation will never again get into this situation where a majority vote comes to mean so little, to so many people. And of course, this brings in issues about Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England as a whole and the way the system does/does not work there! You can trace all this back to that 1960’s horoscope and before then, to the other big ‘Vote’ horoscope of the 1920s when women won their right to a stake in democracy too. This brings in all those questions you are talking about. Perhaps we could say democracy is broken in some way in Britain and it needs to be reformed? Well, Uranus in Taurus will do that and we are in for some shocks by May.

  14. Dear Jessica, I thought about the historical parallels of the democratic fervour created by brexit. My local MP is under police watch because of numerous death threats like so many others from some fanatical brexiteers.

Some brexiteers use the words betrayal and treachery.

There seems a strong parallel with the 1920s and 1930s and the violent rhetoric and actions in Spain, Ireland and Germany at that time.

Are we on the edge of similar dissolution of democracy in the UK now?

I have never heard so many racist comments as now.

I am genuinely concerned and considering leaving the UK for France, Italy or Australia. My own chart has 0 Taurus ascendant and 6 Taurus Moon. I will be grateful for your views.

    1. The death threats are on both sides, aren’t they? The vote on the European Union has triggered some very bad things in the British psyche and as so many people have been saying, for a political decision (a vote) the country has been generating reactions which are much more like the Civil War of old. You are quite right to pick up on the fascism and anti-semitism of the 1930s as we are experiencing the same cycle. Uranus in Taurus. You have your Moon at 6 Taurus and so are experiencing something you have never seen before – Uranus conjunct your Moon – and will never see again. This is really about your values, which Taurus rules. At the end of the day, it is the two British astrological charts set for democracy (the vote, hard-won in the 1920s and 1960s) which will have the final word. Both charts also shows factors in Taurus which are set to be triggered by Uranus, the planet of shock, upheaval, freedom and independence. All along this has really been about democracy as a principle and the charts say, you can’t mess with democracy. At the end of the day, and very soon actually – in a week or two – that is what will come rocketing back. Watch that Uranus transit to your Moon, though and in 2019, 2020, get yourself into the most flexible possible position with your finances for obvious reasons.

  15. Well, Article 50 has now been extended until October 31st 2019, so it appears that your timeline for events could be quite accurate.

    1. All the astrology charts we have for Britain say the same thing: this ends up being a good Brexit – even a great Brexit – but it will be September 2019 with a final outcome in January 2020. And between now and then, a huge shock – in about seven days’ time.

    1. I look at the horoscope for Scotland a long time ago, before she voted in the referendum on staying with England or leaving. I said then what I am going to say now – she will stay the first time but leave the second time – Scotland is heading towards Independence Day eventually. The European Union and the United Kingdom will not be as we know them today. New world.
