Canada in Psychic Astrology

Canada in psychic astrology with a 1982 natal chart and some Tarot cards which show why Mexico and America are in a highly-charged future.

Canada in Psychic Astrology to 2030

Canada is in the spotlight with a trade war started by Donald; Justin Trudeau moving on; Mark Carney moving in. In reply to many questions about her future in psychic astrology, this is what shows up.

Canada’s Constitution Act, 1982, gave her an accurate birth chart –  proclaimed by Queen Elizabeth II on April 17th 1982 at 9.35am on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

The chart you see below accurately shows the moment that former banker Mark Carney became Prime Minister of Canada and Liberal Party leader – replacing Justin Trudeau.

Canada – Exceedingly Well-Balanced

Canada has equal stelliums in Cancer, Libra, Scorpio , Capricorn and Pisces. This is an exceedingly well-balanced country. She’s patriotic. She’s all about partnerships (America) but also battles (if she must).

She’s financially astute (Scorpio), ambitious to be at the top in world affairs (Capricorn) and also rather spiritual, religious, even – New Age (Pisces).

The bizarre antics by Donald in the White House in March 2025 have thrown Canada off-balance. So, where to from here? In this feature I’ll look at the uncanny way in which the Canadian astrology chart lines up with the Smith Waite Tarot cards. The good news? She continues to be a solid economic power house in 2025.

But First – Check the Chart

Canada has a popular astrology chart set for 1st July 1867 at 00.00am in Ottawa. So we start there. Does it function?

I’ve not found it to work particularly well, against dramatic past events in Canada’s history. What does work, is the 1982 chart, mentioned at the start – set for the constitution change – signalled by our late Queen.

On 6th January 2025, Justin Trudeau resigned. Ceres was at 10 Aquarius, the sign ruling political parties, the U.N. and NATO. This was one degree off an exact conjunction to Vesta and the Moon at 9 Aquarius.

On 1st January 1989 the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement was born. Neptune was at 9 Capricorn, in an exact conjunction with Juno at 9 Capricorn. Sign of ambition, position and mission.

On 1st January 1994 the North American Free Trade Agreement was born.

Neptune was at 20 Capricorn, on Canada’s Vulcano at 21 Capricorn. Jupiter was at 9 Scorpio, on Canada’s Apollo at 10 Scorpio. Chiron was at 9 Virgo, one degree off a conjunction with Canada’s Cupido at 8 Virgo. Virgo is work.

Later on in this feature I will look at the end of these two agreements, or the total transformation of the same – in the years 2029 and 2030. That does seem to be coming. The Canada astrology chart here (AstroGold software) is not the only Canada natal chart you will find online, but it is accurate for prediction.

Mark Carney Becomes PM – The Astrology Talks

The 1982 chart really talks to us, about Mark Carney and the tariff war with America and Donald. There are a lot of chart triggers, either exact, or with one degree’s difference, as the leadership changes.

Capricorn rules the Prime Minister –

Transiting Apollo at 22 Capricorn in the Tenth House of mission, position and ambition.
Modern Canada was born with Vulcano at 21 Capricorn.

Gemini rules the neighbours – like America.

Transiting Cupido at 22 Gemini.

Modern Canada was born with Panacea at 23 Gemini.

Taurus rules tariffs and trade –

Transiting Fortuna at 20 Taurus.
Modern Canada was born with Chiron at 20 Taurus.

Transiting Bacchus at 2 Taurus.
Modern Canada was born with Mercury at 3 Taurus.

Transiting Uranus at 23 Taurus
Modern Canada was born with Ceres at 24 Scorpio

Let’s have a look at the Smith Waite Tarot and its comment on the single most important outcome from this Trudeau-Carney changeover. What will the cards pick up in the chart if we ask ‘What one crucial development for Canada will come of the March 2025 Carney appointment, by December 31st 2025?’

The Eight of Pentacles – Canada’s Tarot

Hard work, great productivity, steady income and all you might expect from Carney, an economist.

The Canadian dollar looks sound. Looking at the astrology chart, the stars agree. Taurus rules economics and Carney arrived with not just one, but three transits in Taurus.

The zodiac sign of the bull rules gold bullion and bull markets. Crude petroleum is Canada’s biggest export. However – gold is too. And cars.

Whatever Canada and Carney master in the first year of Donald at the top – it’s in demand, sustainable and steady money. (Photograph: Justin Tabari).

Psychic Astrology Predictions 2029-2030

Canada was born with the Moon at 9 Aquarius and Vesta at 9 Aquarius in the Eleventh House of political parties, the United Nations, NATO and other global communities.

When transiting Pluto goes to 9 Aquarius, the balance of power within some or all of these will transform. The controls will change. This is historic. Pluto can only do this once every 248 years.

The situation will involve one male and two or more females. What does the Smith Waite Tarot say?

Is this about Former Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland or another woman? I am publishing this on March 10th 2025 so we are looking 4-5 years into the future.

This is the same period in which that 9 and 10 degree hotspot in the Canadian chart is triggered. So this is about the trade agreements between Canada, Mexico and the United States too. They end or are relaunched, following complete change.

small Tarot Deck Four of Swords - Canada in Psychic Astrology

Canada in the Tarot – Five Years Away

This huge transformation for Canada showing up in the astrology chart, is set for February 17th 2029, through to March 27th that year.

Pluto then goes back to 9 Aquarius from June 27th 2029 until August 11th a few weeks later.

I am turning the cards for my many psychic readers so we can discuss this. Just one card will do it. The Four of Swords has shown up.

Pluto is back at 9 Aquarius, December 26th (Boxing Day) 2029 until January 28th 2030.  The final pass is September 14th in the year 2030 until November 30th, 2030.

As this is historic change for Canada with her political parties (in fact, all groups, including hockey teams) and her global membership of alliances – the question is ‘What is the single most important outcome of 2029-2030 for Canada?’

USA Map Dreamstime Jose 300x200 - Canada in Psychic Astrology

The first thing that leaps out in the card  is the three countries – Canada, America, Mexico – and the three swords hanging over the knight.

This looks like post-battle, post-conflict, post-difference, post-division. The mother and child in the stained-glass window are a mystery.

This looks like Canada waiting for a complete rebirth. That would fit the astrology. There may also be three political parties or three global organisations here, dramatically shown in the recent past as Canada goes through 2029, 2030. Over to you. What are you seeing in March 2025, ongoing?  (Four of Swords image: Justin Tabari).

  1. Wow! thank you so much for this amazing blog Jessica, As a Canadian myself, I was wondering what is ahead for Canada:):)

    1. Thank you. Canada seems likely to involve herself in a number of new or reborn global networks, from the United Nations (which will transform) to NATO (currently transforming) to the old Commonwealth. There will be even more international understandings on trade and mutual protection, partly because of an amazing revolution in language translation and real-time internet communication, which begins after July 2025. We will also see a radical change in her relationship with America (already beginning) so all this loosens up the usual alliances and friendships over business and security. Watch women rise within that.

  2. Hello Jessica

My simple understanding from the Canadian astro chart you provided, the current astro climate and the cards you have drawn is that Canada has been /is determined (Sun /Aries) to secure their wealth with business activity (Node / Cancer – Cap) on fossil fuel /tree exports ( Neptune / Sag) but now will need to adapt and transform industry from crude (Mars/ Aries) oil and build new refineries ( Saturn – Neptune/ Aries) to export sweet oil (Venus/Pisces) for their own consumption and to export to their powerful trading partners (Pluto/Libra – Saturn Libra). Looks like there will be a price to pay (Jupiter /Scorpio). Perhaps the mother and child in the frame is the incentive for this leader to rise up to this transformation and succeed in order to protect its people (Cancer – family. leader / Cap). It would be ideal if Mark Carney isn’t under the influence of China…. The charts also scream out hydrogen energy but I didn’t go down that rabbit hole.
Much gratitude for all that you do Jessica.

    1. Thank you. I enjoy shared psychic intelligence on the Tarot when we are looking at events affecting all of us. There are some really powerful, accurate insights from the hive mind on this website (going right back to the World Cup, actually). This is more serious. Business and industry show up in the chart and the Tarot. What will Canada trade? My logic says, hybrid or electric cars. There is a huge move against Elon’s Tesla and Canada could fill the gap. The pentacles in the card could be taken for car wheels, for example. Hydrogen energy is a really good clue, I think. The mother and child in the other card, are yet to be revealed.

  3. Jessica, as I look at this chart it is SO close to my chart. I see specifically my north node on Canada’s asc/north node, among other things. I’m in the United States and have never been to Canada. What’s your experience or thoughts on places illuminating your own natal chart? I wonder if I would feel “at home” there. Thanks so much for another great article!

    1. You could easily have had a past life in Canada. The North Node shows prior incarnations. You’ve not been there, but live next door, in America. Past lives are usually shown by unusual talents and abilities in childhood. For example, nobody in your family ever played hockey, but you can – and hockey is a Canadian sport. Later on in life, a penchant for objects, clothing, art, hobbies, interests which is intensely personal to you, and reflective of a particular place or period in history, is another clue.

  4. Jessica, thank you for this reading. As an American, I find it bittersweet: on one hand, I’m happy that it appears our good neighbors in Canada will weather the current storm well, and I’m glad that (perhaps) our current horrible state may have served as something of a cautionary tale to prevent them from picking a far-right leader.

On the other hand, the disaster of what America has so quickly become, and the shame of it, are incredibly painful. I wish things were different. I hope for our redemption.

So, moving on–do you see normalcy, balance and friendliness restored to the relationship among the three North American trading partners in 2029-2030, when we are hopefully past MAGA? Or is the friendship gone for good? Or will it just be between our neighbors and those of us in the blue states? NAFTA has widely been seen as a boon to oligarchs but a raw deal for workers. Will workers come out better in this new relationship?

Interestingly, I have a younger brother who emigrated to Canada years ago for work, and stayed; he’s now on the path to dual citizenship. Do you see anything in my chart regarding that relationship, or how the current political situation might affect it? We are on good terms and communicate weekly, and we’ve both been distressed by the situation in the U.S. Thank you.

    1. Thank you. This is an emotional time for so many people in America and Canada, which is typical of Pluto leaving one sign and entering another. This 248-year shift really is about the continental plates moving, with political earthquakes and social volcanoes. This does work out for the best, but it takes time to adjust to the new landscape. I don’t mean Donald World. I mean the landscape that evolves to replace him. This is about the world, not America. It had to happen, because of the climate emergency which is obviously a global issue. The new world will also be female-dominated. Again, this had to happen, because of the imbalance of so much male money and power at the top. Canada and America will become involved with completely new international networks, based on trade, but also the same values. This is the reborn United Nations and NATO; the reborn Commonwealth. This is a 20 year cycle so it’s slow and steady, but strong on humanitarianism, which Aquarius always is. Christianity arrived on it. We are just a few months in, so it all feels extreme, but eventually we will start to see a total replacement for what/who was. Your younger brother is in Canada; he is shown in your chart by transits in Gemini. You have a stellium in Gemini and also in Cancer, actually (family as well as siblings) and will be amazed at how much things change (for the better) with him, for him but also with other relatives. The cycle, with Uranus in Gemini and Jupiter in Cancer, is up and running from July 2025 and takes you far into 2026.

  5. Thank you for this interesting reading on Canada. Living in Europe, I would be very interested to hear what you think about the future of the EU / Europe in this new world order that has emerged in the last couple of weeks. Europe does seems to be (finally) getting its act together but is it too late to rearm do defend itself of the Russian bear? Does Putin pose a real threat to Europe? And finally, are the rumours true that Trump is a Russian asset?

    1. The astrology has been clear for many years that we would see the United Nations and NATO, but also other group organisations like BRICS and the Commonwealth, transform from 2023, 2024 and fully from 2025. A change in the balance of power was always coming. So here we are. This is the Pluto in Aquarius cycle when power and control change hands, going from men to women, and within a wider collective or global community. The very earliest evidence we have of this was the Roman Empire collapse, with power going to the Christian church, with its emphasis on the Virgin Mary, but also female saints – and of course – nuns as teachers and nurses. We always update every Pluto in Aquarius cycle, which builds on the last, so the latest version of this is ‘Europe Plus’ which will be a potent alliance of Ukraine and friends, led by women in key positions. The Kremlin is not in the game, being male-dominated and not particularly well-connected with friend nations. Is Donald a Russian asset? That’s one for the Tarot, as he has given two completely different birth dates to the authorities. He certainly behaves like one. It is very common for the Kremlin to use sex, death and money as their preferred methods of control.

  6. Morning Jessica
Thanks for the Canada review. As a dual US/NZ citizen, I lived in the US for long periods and visited Canada often for short and long stays. I was so comfortable during these visits, swooning in the culture and this reminded me that Canadian culture, like NZ and Australia evolved from British heritage. I saw tea cosies and crumpets at darling little B n B’s. Canada made fabulous DRY cider and perry like my English Nonny used to drink. Do you see the UK in Canada’s modern chart? I also note that my sun is conjunct the modern Canada mars. cheers

    1. I like Canada too. It’s very special and does have that line of heritage which can be traced to Mother England; the Mother Country. The Canadian astrology chart, set for her new existence, independent of Buckingham Palace, still shows a strong attachment to where she comes from. What is also interesting about Canada is the spirituality; the psychic streak; the deep intuition of the people. What they feel collectively as a nation is not necessarily always logical; however the collective E.S.P. is usually proven right.

  7. Great blog, Jessica, as always!

While reading it and looking at the photo of the Canadian flag in your blog image, all I could think of was the unity and strength of the nation—qualities that will carry it forward. Unity, transformation, and strength are also symbolic of the maple tree.

To me, the 8 of Pentacles card represents stability and strength through hard work. The tree with coins could be a maple tree. We don’t know for sure, but whatever tree it is, it has a solid foundation, with coins that are not falling.

    1. That’s a good suggestion – that sturdy tree in the Eight of Pentacles is a maple tree. Quebec has a small, thriving male syrup industry. This card is really about that kind of revenue. It’s enough to keep working people, busy working. It certainly shows in the chart. Thank you.

  8. Thank you so much for this feature, Jessica! As you know, I’ve been concerned for my country since we were unexpectedly thrown into Trumps spotlight. The atmosphere around here has moved from shock, sadness and fear to a steely resolve mixed with a great sense of Canadian humour. Trudeau quipping that it was just “Thursday” the other week when a reporter asked him how it was dealing with Trump was a perfect moment.

I am wondering about advancements in tech for Canada, as my home province, Alberta, has been expanding in the tech world for some time but not nearly fast enough to diversify our economy from reliance on oil and gas. When you mentioned perhaps EV cars being a prime export from us, I had to wonder about our talents in tech in general!

I appreciate so much that we are likely to remain sovereign and hopefully come out stronger for this. The mother and child have a “handing off to the next generation” feel to me……she looks comfortable and he looks like an apprentice of sorts. Our country is also expected to have a trillions of dollars wealth transfer in the next ten years to people my age from the boomers generation passing away. While the wealth disparity will still be there between families, what my generation does with it could transform this country, too. I see some of that in that image as well.

    Thank you again 🙂

    1. Thank you. Canada now has 50% tariffs placed on her steel and aluminium by Donald. Her astrology chart and Tarot card suggest this is a spur to productivity. Oil, cars, petrol and America used to be the old economy. What will the new economy be? We’re in that Uranus in Taurus cycle when everything is about invention, innovation and original thinking. This is the ‘world turned upside down’ cycle I wrote about in August last year. I predicted that the inauguration of the new US government would bring people power to the economy, worldwide. So – that means Canada’s people power too. Working harder, working better, selling to each other, or finding new markets. Boycotts! What you say about wealth transfer from old to young is also really important. How fascinating that you have picked this up with the mother and child in the stained glass window of the second card.

  9. Dear Jessica,
I am proud of my country – the Czech Republic, which has stood by Ukraine since the beginning of Russian aggression. We will have parliamentary elections in this autumn and the favorite with overwhelming polls is Babiš (born 2nd September 1954) and his party (ANO 11th May 2012), a former agent of the communist secret police, a populist, a Trump admirer. A typical plutocrat with money. What are his chances of success?
    Karel

    1. Thank you. It really depends on what he does, in terms of the big global groups. So that’s the European Union, NATO and the United Nations. Also, perhaps, BRICS. All politicians, be they high or low in the polls, are affected by Pluto in Aquarius where power is with the community, and the women within that circle. You can see the power building in Europe at the moment, to the tune of billions of dollars and a firm strategy against the Kremlin. This Autumn you will find out where Babis stands with the two or three female-centred groups he needs to gain power and hang onto it. If you are curious you can also use the Tarot on my website to ask about the Czech Republic and its future.

  10. Hi Jessica,
I’ve recently seen online that astrology is predicting a war in Canada. Is this the tarrif war between Canada, America and the USA or an actual battlefield conflict?

    1. You’d have to be a twerp to use astrology to predict an America-Canada war. Yes, we are seeing a lot of sabre-rattling. No, this is not that cycle. Fortunately we don’t have Pluto in Cancer these days. There will be fierce competition over car production, however, and in the long run we all benefit. Electric and hybrid cars and public transport, affordable and accessible (unlike the costly Tesla) is coming.

  11. What I see in the card is that the Knight – Canada – the plinth he is lying on and the sword at the bottom are all golden. The swords above are much plainer. I think this shows Canada coming out of this as the ‘golden child’. A relatively young country, seen in golden terms by the rest of the world and also financially rich in gold (as it is). The looming swords above the knight seem to be dangerously falling down, but they are contained by a frame, so they can’t get out and harm the Knight of Canada. While there are three of them, they are in a passive ‘resting’ position. The golden sword below is much more dynamic and facing to the left, which makes me wonder if the Canadian party in power will be more politically left leaning. Thank you for this fascinating post. It’s made me really want to go to Canada! The country that has given us Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and KD Lang. What’s not to love?

    1. Thank you. This is far into the future for Canada, but you may be picking up a lean towards the left, years ahead. The Four of Swords was originally described by Arthur E. Waite as “The effigy of a knight in the attitude of prayer, at full length upon his tomb” There is a reason why this card turned up out of the 78 available and gold might also be the future.

  12. Hello Jessica,

Thank you for this article. As a Canadian – I appreciate all the information you provided in these uncertain times. Mark Carney is to be sworn in as Prime Minister on Friday. So close to the Lunar Eclipse and Mercury Retrograde. What are your thoughts on the timing?

    Nancy

    1. Thanks Nancy. Awful timing for permanence and stability. There is a cover-up over public health and employment then (Virgo Eclipse) and Mercury Retrograde suggests a second take on the agreements he’s making, later on, or even a complete cancellation of the deal, later on. Why do politicians ignore astrology? This looks like reshuffle upon reshuffle and pledges and promises revisited later on.

  13. The card is Ten of swords – so maybe great comeback for him.
Depending on how Babiš treats his political opponents and women separately, it will be very interesting what group of women will get on their side.
Thank you for your work Jessica

  14. Hi Jessica,
I am Canadian, moved to the US with my American husband in 1990 when the company he worked for in Canada relocated. My connection to Canada, especially eastern Canada and all my relatives remains strong. I became a US citizen in 2010 when it seemed we would remain here forever. Obama was president and the country appeared to be embracing an inclusive future all could find acceptance in. Lately I have been giving serious thought to returning to Canada for all the obvious reasons, but wonder if I will feel like an alien in my own land.

    1. You are not logged in, so I cannot see an astrology chart for you, unfortunately. Your best bet is to use The Modern I Ching and The Smith Waite Tarot, which are always free, to enquire. And if you are actually a Premium Member, you can have third and fourth opinions from The Garden Oracle and The Astrology Oracle, also here.

  15. Hallo Jessica, great feature! I’m an ignorant as far as Canada goes, just thought I’d warn you about this Carney guy (I do not know his chart) – but he’s a handful, beware. You see, there are fated people who seem to be on the right place at the right time, yet he seems to be there always just before! He made his way up Harvard and Goldman Sachs, and as an advisor in Canada until his appointment as Central Bank Governor in 2007 – just before the 2008 world crisis. He had a peculiar approach to the crisis, which proved right, and he went on to the BIS, just before settlement time. One would think he’d stay there (what would be better?) but in 2013 he became Governor of the Bank of England (the first non Englishman in its 400 year history) just before the Scottish referendum 2014: which turned out to be nothing, yet he didn’t leave – just before the Brexit referendum 2016. Now that didn’t go so well, so he had to stay for a while, until he announced he was needed in Canada, and became an advisor to Trudeau on March 2020 – just before Covid.
Now he’s president just before Trump’s 51st state delirium – is it all safe then? I wouldn’t know.
I do know that in 1998 he went to Russia (hadn’t even finished his masters degree) to help Yeltsin, on behalf of Goldman Sachs. The ruble was plunging deep, inflation was soaring high and Russia defaulted – his odd advice? Do nothing – proved to be wise since oil prices soared months after, fixing everything. The problem was unemployment, social upheaval, strikes and the Russian unions/mafias, so Yeltsin was told to get another Home Security Minister, which he did in deed – a total dark horse. His name was Vladimir Putin, and the rest is history… Sorry for the long comment, hope it helps. Love. L.

    1. Carney lacks a birth time (and so lacks a natal chart) which is a nuisance. He’s a Sun Pisces man born on 16th March, which is something we can probably trust. Politicians tend to come with reliable birthdays if nothing else. Nothing about the rise to power fits his chart over the long-term. You would expect someone rising in this way to have rare transits in the Eleventh House of groups (no) or the Tenth House of ambition (no). All he really has is Mars Retrograde in Leo in the Sixth House of duty, service and workload. That does fit, but it’s over on June 17th. The rest of his Pisces solar chart is entirely about money. Now that fits, given his Goldman Sachs background along with the Bank of England. The Tarot and The Modern I Ching would be worth consulting further on him. As you say, he does pop up at crucial points in the world’s economic history.

  16. Hey Jessica!

I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to share a bit about my journey— I was born in the UK but made the move to Canada back in 2013. I’ve really come to love living here; the great outdoors, the friendly people, and the work I do all bring me so much joy.

That said, I’ve been feeling a bit uneasy lately with all the chatter about the tariffs and talks of Canada becoming the 51st state. It’s definitely got me thinking about whether it might be time to head back to the UK. But for now, while I’m still enjoying my work and life here, I think I’ll stick around!

Thanks for another great article, Jessica!

    Take care!

    1. Thank you. My aunt was British and also emigrated to Canada. Donald is going against the tides of time and history when he says America will take Canada. It’s just not that kind of cycle. The tariffs and their shockwaves will end in July, then end completely in 2026. The idea of him and his male entourage (Elon Musk, James Vance) successfully carrying off a power grab is nonsense. Pluto in Aquarius is about Canada being in a new Europe Plus superpower, made of many female leaders. That’s actually where the control is for the next 20 years. Boys’ clubs with world domination fantasies just don’t make it.
